[Class] Acting 101 (Class A) (Homework)

Chuppi looked over her shoulder as Calder approached and her face turned red, happiness flushing over her body since he had decided to stand behind her. The monster wasn't scared of heights per say, she didn't really like falling, but if she did fall she could always land on her feet and turn it into a jump. Chupacabras were known for jumping high and jumping far, so the landing from a jump wasn't scary. "I'll be careful Calder, please do not worry."

The monster then turned her attentions back to the others she had addressed and did her best to explain - the larger male boil did not seem so happy. "Um....I was...saying good morning to you, or as we use it like a hello." He seemed angry? Or tense? Or maybe Chuppi was just scared because he was a demon and his eyes had narrowed at her? At least the other ghoul had been friendly, and she kept her hands pressed together as more students joined the group.

"...hola...." Her words were quiet as she greeted Julian, Bul, and the ghoul Xiu-Ying. No one had offered their names so she did not know them, but at least none of them seemed overly aggressive or verbally loud? Of course during her thoughts Calder told her to go take a seat before they were all taken (Chuppi hadn't even really noticed the chairs), and she nodded as he went off to talk to the scary boil. The monster turned and looked, finding an empty seat, and she waddled over to the closest one that no one had taken. It required some effort for her to get into the seat, and she stared at it as she debated how to climb on to sit.

West nodded at Chuppi after she explained, but didn't press the issue. He perked up slightly at the appearance of Bul and was about to actually greet the other boil when Calder pulled up a chair, scooting into his personal space and babbling about acting and... marking. At least he had whispered.

"Whatta 'bout it?" he muttered. West kept his voice down as low as the kelpie had, but it was definitely not as friendly in tone.

Levi saw what looked like a pretty banged up half beast. The trip... it was a reminder of what had happened but- at the same time she couldn't help but admire it. The marks were proof that Bul had been through some hardship but came out of it; soon to be stronger than ever from the experience. Such was mindset of a ghoul who wrestled and fought for fun.

Aye Bul! Nice set 'a battle scars ya got thar! Dang, boil! She waved at him while hollering in an excited hillbilly tone. He was rough boil and Levi respected him as a gentleman as well like Rex. The half beast was a rare case of boil she didn't see back home. Still hurtin' any? Since she herself came back from death, there wasn't a scratch on her... physically. Her memories and sleeping habits were a different story.

'Hola!' The boil looked to Chuppi and offered the fellow creature a sharp toothed grin before finding himself a seat too, letting his legs lay out in front of him lazily.

Bul's tail flicked when he made eye contact with West but paused and glanced away when the Calder Red!ALERT went off in his head. Instead he was greeted by Levi. Ah, someone who was not suspicious of his sexuality!

Almost immediately he replied with an exasperated expression. "Yea, just a bit. Just barely managed to crawl outta there but.." he left 'there' vague. "Been doing a lot better now though, it's just been a lot of snoozing and ointments," he shuddered.

Calder frowned at the tone, and felt a tad hurt. He sure was grumpy today. Then again, he was sitting alone before. Was he just sad and upset no one sat next to him and was talking to him? Calder understood the feeling and, as such, decided he'd keep West company. Still cupping his hands, he continued to whisper into West ear as if he was sharing a secret - which he was. West didn't want him talking about the mark and he was keeping his side of the deal by being quiet as he could about it.

"Your mark upsets my boilfriend. He thinks it's best if I get rid of it as soon as I can. Sorry about this, but it doesn't seem to be going away. I thought that we could change the contract to something simple, since I heard you can't just end it when you wan to. How does that sound? A simple little task that won't take 2 weeks." He smiled. leaning back in his seat and waiting for the other boil to respond.

Originally, West had thought their contract would play out immediately after they agreed upon its terms, but when he hadn't experienced any ill effects from failing to be at Calder's side, defending him from irate lunch ladies or stones in his hooves, he had come to the conclusion that more specificity might have been required. Frankly, that was too much work. This sounded far easier.

The demon's expression finally lightened, and he even smirked at Calder as he replied. "Boilfriend, eh?" His distaste for being on either end of a mark overrode the desire to know more about pissing off this boilfriend, at least for now. "Yeah, I could do that. What'd y'ave in mind?"

Calder smiled, happy to see the other boil finally perk up. See how happy you could make others just by keeping them company?

Beaming, Calder was then in a bit of a dilemma. He hadn't really thought of what else he could ask for. Barth wanted to contract to be over quick, and it couldn't be asking for too much. All he did was slip a note under a door for West. Therefor, he should ask for something very minor. Not to exhausting, and over in a short while.

His eyes trailed about the room for ideas, and he perked, turning to the boil and placing his hands on his arm in excitement. "Be my acting buddy for today!"

Holly wasn't really into acting much. She did hear something about how it could help with FEAR related things so she was going to give it a go. Also, acting could help with trickery and what not. Or at least she hoped so. She was pretty sure she knew some friends were taking it so that was good too.

The ghoul had made her way into the theater and went up on stage with the others. Ah, yep, a few familiar faces indeed. She walked past West and waved. "Hey." Holly grinned when she saw Levi and went to sit near the ghoul. "Good to see friendly faces here ya?"

To his credit, West didn't frown, but his smile did slowly fade back to neutrality as Calder spoke. Acting buddy? Well, he was already here, and short of being forced to impersonate a baby clown or something, West wasn't planning on storming out. This was an excellent deal, much easier than being a bodyguard, if no less potentially painful, at least from a humiliation standpoint. Hopefully, this class would be a complete bore.

He looked down at Calder's hand on his arm, then up at the boil's face. "I could do that." He nodded. "Consider it done." West looked away for a moment, briefly returning Holly's wave before turning back to the kelpie. "Wouldn't want t'piss yer boilfriend off anymore than 'e is." Yeah. Right.

kekeke~ bah-! Her snakey tail wriggled over to his seat and flicked at a calf playfully. That'sall part 'a tha process though! Ah, ointments... Like a walk through memory lane, the ghoul nodded with approval at the healing process Bul was using. Fellar like ya 'll be up again n' kickin' tha ol' snotball better than ever, I tell ya.

Reeling that tail back in, Levi then saw the form on one of her favorite ghouls come on up and sit beside her. She hadn't seen Holly since that day. Things had just moved too fast and Levi hadn't done much save for take her not-so-practice exam. Sure am glad ta see yer face, ghoulie. She chuckled. Holly- ya'doin' alright? It was a casual way of asking if she'd been hurt at all, but by the looks of it, Holly hadn't seen the same fate as others like Bul. A good rough ghoul indeed.

Mortimer needed to start looking at classes, much as that was as desirable as finishing unpacking - still, a smidge higher on the list was still a smidge higher. He had sighed, put away his video game, made sure none of his minipets had hijacked a ride in his hoodie, and shambled off on his way to find an available classes. Amityville's schedule was so . . . loose. Mort wasn't sure if that was good or bad.

Eventually he had heard voices both familiar and not within the theater and, by the looks of things, there was a list to sign up on. Theater meant acting, yes? Well Mort didn't exactly have the best scaring face or attitude, so perhaps this class would help? Though he was nervous to think about actually acting on stage . . . Gulp.

Still, he signed his name up, found Chuppi, and went to stand by her, greeting the chupacabra with a smile and a murmured, "'Grats again on passing your exam! You think this class'll be fun?"

He also spotted the spike boil from the trip, Mei's boilfriend. Mort had seen his natural form and, quite frankly, even in a much calmer situation the zombie had a quiet and somewhat fearful awe of the older student.

Sit beside Levi? Xiu's tail give a little wag at the offer, but she paused to glance over to the other students, humming thoughtfully. Maybe..."I'm going to introduce myself to some people I'm not familiar with first! I'll be back in a bit, though!" Before she left, she curled her tail around the tatzel's in their usual greeting. With a little smile, she trotted off in the direction of some of the other seats, stopping in front of the ghoul she had waved to--Chuppi--and the undead boy who had just joined her.

When Xiu had first enrolled, she probably never would have walked up to someone to introduce herself--she would have waited for them to come to her. However, things had clearly changed. "Hello!" She greeted, raising a hand to flutter her fingers shyly, "I'm Xiu-Ying! Or, ah, just Xiu works. And you two are...?"

They seemed vaguely familiar--maybe she had seen them in the hallways, or even chatted with them on Groanspring?--but she was having trouble putting names to their faces.

Willow had heard about the acting class, when she heard the details though it had perked her interest. The Byakko slipped into the class hoping she could sit in the back for now and just see what the class was about. She paused to sign her name on the paper so she was counted as present.

Hopefully this was something fun. She noticed a few familiar faces, some she didn't know their names, there were a few she knew; like Calder, Levi and Bul she knew, Bul was prehaps the best known of them all. Despite that she slipped quietly into a seat waiting and watching for the professor.

Ah, and there was Mei too! He just hadn't noticed her somehow - probably chalking it up to his sometimes sketchy eyesight. Mort was about to call out to her when a ghoul approached both him and Chuppi.

Much like this stranger, Mortimer felt a vague sense of familiarity . . . Ah! He returned her finger wave with one of his own. "Hai!" the boil greeted enthusiastically. "From Groanspring, yes? 'Grats on passing again, um . . . Shu?" How she said it was hard for him to process, and exotic names were often a bit of tongue-twister for him anyway.

The hairs on the back of Bul's neck stood on end as Levi flit her tail over his leg. The half beast smiled uneasily but seemed to ease back into place and leaned forwards with his arms crossed. "I'm definitely hoping to play some more snotball soon. What say we get together and play one on one again?" he asked the tatzel before waving at Willow as she arrived.
