[EXAM] Professor Malcolm (Group 4)

Of course, when things go up, they must come down.

Whilst Danny was thinking about how much it would suck for her to fall into the water trap, that she wasn't keeping focused on the other side of the path- the side with the giant pit of doom.

Luckily, Danny glanced back to the other side just in time to find that she was about to fall in. She shrieked and then kept running in the middle of the path. Dear Jack, who's idea was it to put a pit of doom and a giant water puddle in the middle of a classroom?

HP: 30 - 3 = 27/30
Distance: 36/80

Well now she was back on track, and all she had to do was keep running. Simple. What a pleasant exam!

Since Julian was so far ahead of her, she could see him tripping over his own feet, almost tripping into the same pits and water hazards she herself had almost fallen into. Well that was encouraging- at least she wasn't the only one stumbling over these awkwardly place edges!

Of course, she also saw him get bitten by plants, but Danny wasn't too worried about those. They were plants. She was a fire demonness. C'mon. How hard could they-

Ouch that bite looked like it actually hurt ...

As she was focused on the plant, she didn't notice a crack in the road leading to the pit, and she tripped over it. Now her running rhythm was all gone!

Oh well. She still got up and started running again. Like a BAWSS.

HP: 27 - 3 = 24/30
Distance: 56/80

JACK JACK JACK JACK JACK JACK.

NO WATER. NO. WATER NO. NOOOO.

Danny was stumbling all OVER the place now, and she had almost landed herself in the water. She stayed on the ground for a few moments, just catching her breath out of the sheer terror of it all and then stood up.

She basically ran away like a pansy. Wasn't she supposed to be the one creating FEAR, not supplying it?



HP: 24 - 5 = 19/30
Distance: 67/80

While Danny was busy being a little pansy, she was actually getting herself closer to the goal. Actually, it was remarkably close. Weren't these exams supposed to be difficult? She was just glad no trolololopus had shown up. The thing from Savage's class still left her with nightmares. Still.

Eventually she calmed down enough to see another one of those pit cracks across the ground. You know what she did?

LEAPED ACROSS IT LIKE A BAWSS.

Or maybe she just stumbled across it. She would definitely tell everyone at school that she leapt across it like a beautiful nimble kelpie. It would be amazing.

HP: 19 - 3 = 16/30
Distance: 86/80

As Danny crossed the finish line, she leapt onto Julian (who, despite knowing him at all, was still considered a friend by Danny already) and started screaming bloody murder for everyone to hear. She was so excited. It only lasted a millisecond of a moment though, and then she hopped off.

Sure she had almost fallen in a water pit, and the pit of doom like eight times, but she made it! She did indeed! So what happened now? Did they just go back to class ... or ...?

Panting slightly, she said, "Good job running ... and stuff ... and ... YEAH!" Danny would have to give him a present later for doing such a great job. Professor Malcolm too!

Julian was grinning by the time the ghoul got to the end of the course. Though, he didn't expect her to jump on him and hug him and scream. His hearing was very acute, so by the time she was finished, his ears were ringing something awful. But he was still smiling.
"You too! We had a couple of close-calls there, but we both made it!" he replied, his feathers ruffled in his excitement. Make more friends, make more friends...

"My name's Julian, by the way."

"Julian and Danny," It seemed like the professor was not far behind them, as he stepped forward, out of the path and onto the 'safe zone' with a small smile, "Congrats on passing the exam, Knobs. As proof, take this..." He held out his open hand, and there, sitting on his palm, were two identical pins - his pin.
