Sura was actually stunned by the blow, stepping back and shaking out her body, making a very unhappy noise as the lights in her eyes finally flickered to a red color that they hadn't made in the presence of the human yet.

Frustration, anger. A wild swipe of her paw missed and she growled again.

Weeeewsddjdjdjdjjdd Ofelia barely dodged that one, the attack coming entirely too close for comfort, and in an effort to regain her footing her shoe slipped off when she went in for the attack.

The result was her toddling to the side, missing her target entirely. Rue wondered just how she could miss something so huge that was so very clearly close.

She'd gotten the hunter running from her, which prompted Sura to swing another paw after Ofelia, eyes glowing.

It was all a fun game, right?

If it was something as simple as a dodge roll then Ofelia could work at that. The creature wasn't going for her blind side and that pleased her, seeing as if she could see the massive paw coming she could really avoid it and not have to worry, so when another swipe came her way she dodged it effortlessly. then, of course, she moved and punched Rue in against the creature's arm.

It wasn't a hard blow because, well, DaniniSura was pretty well built and Ofelia just wasn't strong enough yet to dish out some heavy hits. (Not really true, she could hit hard as needed) "Come on Danini, we're supposedta be fightin' here! Gimmie yer best shot!" Was she taunting her again? "If yer havin' trouble wit' a trainee like me imagine what'll happen ta ya when a real hunter comes out. Yer gonna die an' maybe die fer good."

Maybe she shouldn't sound so harsh. Just maybe.

If Ofelia was watching Sura's paws, she forgot that the Colossus had a very sturdy tail that could also swing around, Sura's tail suddenly swinging around to clip at the Hunter.

"You assume you are strong enough to kill things that will not die." Sura's eyes rimmed to orange.

"Ah might not be able ta kill ya right now as Ah am but Ah can certainly wittle yer health down an' put ya in pain." Ofelia was talking big as the tail hit her, knocking her off guard and sending her staggering back a bit. She'd forgotten that non-human things had tails they could control, most of them just looked so much like her, and as the tail started to retreat away Ofelia gave it a nice stab with Rue.

The damage was mostly bug bites, nothing super strong or hard, but winning was winning and it felt good to be on the end delivering the punishment, not receiving it.

Sura's eyes faded back into the blues again as she swatted at the hunter and missed, smashing through the wall violently.

Which was unfortunate that it hadn't been Ofelia's head.

Ofelia wasn't sure how much more damage she could inflict on the creature before it went down, her bravado sort of melting. Each swipe that she dodged was a narrow dodge indeed, and her brain couldn't help but tell her that if it had connected she likely wouldn't be standing at all.

At the very least this battle was somewhat better than the one with that zombie thing, though she wasn't sure if she should take that as praise of any kind. Either way Ofelia rolled and stabbed her fist against Sura's frame. Please go down soon, Ofelia was scared to get hit!

Sura growled, as she suddenly jerked her leg to move the human's reach away from it, feeling some frustration in just how hittable her body was, growling.

She swung her paw again, barely clipping the hunter.

The sun hunter looked down at the weak wound that graced her FEAR shield, a frown spreading over her lips. She'd pounded this creature enough to know that she was weak, common sense said so, and the trainee backed up a few steps and placed her hands down at her sides rather than in a fighting position. "Are ya still gonna keep tryin'? Yer not lookin' so good an' Ah've seen what happens ta yer kind when ya go past yer limit. Ya blow up...or sommin'." Okay so she was vague on the exact memory but she did recall that the zombie had basically vanished into dust.

Meanwhile Rue was chanting in her head for more blood, more glory. The taste of FEAR was her guilty pleasure and she demanded more of it right then and there.

Sura fell back when it seemed like the human had no intention to actually take her to the death, rumbling frustratedly even as her back scratched against the ceiling.

However, the room didn't seem ready to renege underneath her sturdy body, even as she slipped the tip of her tail into the belt she'd left on the floor, allowing the charm of the skull pin to come over her again, body crunching even as she grew smaller again, relatching the belt around her waist.

For a moment, she looked between Ofielia and then the door.

Should she run?

"If'in ya wanna run Ah ain't gonna stop ya. S'like ya said an' like Ah know, Ah'm not strong 'nough ta really take ya down." Ofelia shrugged, ignoring Rue's screams of protest inside her head. The knuckledusters hated that her delicious FEAR source was going to get away and she pounded her voice against the sun teen's thoughts. Ofelia deftly ignored it so very well. "Maybe if ya run we can meet again an' see who got stronger durin' that time. S'not like Ah hate ya or anythin'."

Ofelia didn't really hate these creatures, she just wanted them dead because of her eye. If they didn't attack her first she wouldn't have had to attack them now, and all because of that one time in the barn she knew she had to protect people. Yes, Ofelia enjoyed the sound of the monster's screams because she wanted to protect people. Denial was part of her middle name it seemed.

There was another lingering pause as Sura again glanced towards the door, then the human. Debating. She probably would have done better to leave at this time, yet even though the human was strong....yes, the human was very strong and that sort of bothered her - almost. Okay, not truly. But Sura did pass Ofelia a lingering glance (with all of her eyes) before she finally moved to the door.

Not quickly.

Not desperately.

Slowly, debatingly. She only lingered for a few moments longer before she passed through it. She was not strong enough to handle one squishy human at that time, and that was disappointing.

She needed to get stronger now.
