Ok so... Arts and Crafts. Imryn really did not have a creative bone in her body, but this seemed out there enough that it might distract her from the last round of the Trials long enough to maybe have a bit of fun. And as much as the idea of being around groups of people made her want to twitch, the whole working as a team thing had turned out better than she'd anticipated and was willing to at least give this a chance. Sitting in ones room or sneaking around wasn't going to do her any good. Scribbling her name on the sign up sheet, Imryn then went to look for a spot to float around for a little bit until the class started. She spotted Mitzi talking to another reaper she'd seen before, but still feeling a bit twitchy about all that, she instead headed towards the back of the classroom to just watch for now. Sign it: 1. This was a stupid idea. Putting a flame demon next to a whole room of flammable art supplies was stupid. Beyond stupid.
Yet there she was. "Yiiiin," she squealed, hugging him from behind where he was sitting. Things had gotten better as she'd adjusted back to school life. There was still the occasional freak out when things got near her neck. She still had to sleep in Rikki's bed to keep from having nightmares. Her disposition was getting better though. She stared off into space less.
She waved at King even though she wasn't that well acquainted with him. "Yin what're we-" Her voice cut off as she noticed Imryn floating near the back of the room. Oh my jack her tail was neat. Danny waved at the ghoul, even though she didn't know her. She was that jackdamn outgoing.Sign it: 1. Aleria 2. Frost in the Storm 3. Gene 4. Circe Livonia 5. PEPIN MOLYNEAU 6. Valentino 7. She needed a chance to get out, a time to take her mind off things. She needed to go to classes and learn and get points and do homework ad become a student again. Chuppi needed to be a person who didn't hide in their room and gorge themselves on blood every time they got scared or nervous (which was often for her).
So she found herself heading towards the classrooms when a certain one caught her eye - something that would be easy and she could do without having to get super physical or without having to worry about injuring others. She could do something as simple as Arts and Crafts, right? Even a few of her friends had signed up already and were doing things, but she. . . .well, she didn't know how to properly face them. The group of four were all here, gathered together and talking, and Chuppi felt...well, that she didn't really deserve to be with them. Sure they had been a team during the trials, but after that? No, she didn't belong.
Her name was signed and she stood in a corner. When class started she'd do her work, but she had let everyone down. Even those who didn't know, she'd let them down - even if it had all been a dream. She needed this class to take her mind off things. Chuppi needed thoughts other than her own for a while.Sign it: 1. Aleria 2. Frost in the Storm 3. Gene 4. Circe Livonia 5. PEPIN MOLYNEAU 6. Yuki had stumbled upon the class by chance, really. There had been a lot of aimless wandering in the last couple of days, mainly accompanied by thoughts of the trials and hopeful ideas on how to help himself and his teammates chase away the lingering nightmares and plentiful emotional stress.
As he hesitantly stuck his head in, he glanced around and the decorum and slowly made his way in and toward the signup sheet.
Arts and crafts sounded decidedly not dangerous. Maybe it would be fun, at least. Take his mind off of things. If he made something worthwhile, maybe he could give it to Astra to cheer her up a bit.Sign it: 1. Aleria 2. Frost in the Storm 3. Gene 4. Circe Livonia 5. PEPIN MOLYNEAU 6. Valentino 7. West had taken arts and crafts before. What of it? He didn't know what good it was going to do him now. Maybe someone would teach him how to draw a picture ugly enough to brutally murder someone, or throw a pot that automatically moved all of hunter's organs outside their body. He scribbled his name on the sign in sheet so quickly that it was almost illegible, then chose a spot near the glitter. It had served him well during the War trials. It would be pretty cool if humans were allergic to it or something. Sign it: 1. Aleria 2. Frost in the Storm 3. Gene 4. Circe Livonia 5. PEPIN MOLYNEAU 6. Valentino 7. Taryn Procopio 8. Obsidian 9. The door to the classroom swung open once more at an alarming speed, sending it into the adjacent wall with a loud, resonating WHAM. A couple of paint chips and mortar went tumbling to the floor as the door slowly inched closed, as if it were ashamed of the ruckus it had caused. Zixil walked backwards into the classroom, carrying something in his arms and mumbling an obscenity-peppered train of thought to himself. He nearly tripped over his tail on the way to his desk, which sent him into another frustrated rant about its inability to keep itself away from his feet. When he finally heard the familiar sound of his hip connecting with solid oak, he turned to hastily set down the transparent container that he'd been holding. It was a little hard to make out, but the contents appeared to be a pile of multicolored beads or trinkets. At a second glance, some of the students might notice that the craft supplies were jostling about on their own, scrabbling over one another to reach the top and attempt an escape. "Right, so." Heaving a sigh, he turned to address the classroom, peering at them with squinted eyes. "Zixil Braxton here, for those who don't know me. Great job in those trials and such, yadda yadda, but we're gonna back it on up a bit. Get back to basics. Gotta see how useful...er...dextrinous...uh... crafty you can be." He fished inside an open desk drawer and pulled out a pile of pre-cut lengths of twine, set it next to the captive craft supplies, and tapped on the side of their cage with an air of annoyance. "These things are really just beads, don't let 'em trick you with their moving and crying. Dropped 'em on the way over here and some parade of gnomes crunched them back into their animated state. So, what you've gotta do..." He reached into the pile and plucked out a 'bead,' letting it slide into the palm of his hand in spite of its barely audible, high-pitched wails. "...is just crunch it right on back to what it's supposed to be." He balled his fist, muffling that crunch sound he'd referred to, and opened it back up to display the result to the class. The thing that remained didn't move or make a sound - just sat in his hand like a proper craft thing, ready for use. "Finish that up and we'll get moving." [ooc: The little creatures look like regular plastic craft beads of various shapes and sizes that have come to life! No mechanics for this part - just roleplay your student retrieving six critters, returning to their desk, and crunching them up before March 30th at 6PM EST/3PM PST. If your student would rather not smush them, feel free to have them ask a friend or the teacher, or quote/PM me so we can work something out. <3]

When the familiar ghoul sat down next to Circe her face brightened. "Hi Mitzi." She replied in a soft greeting. Anyone who had known her could tell she was clearly not her normal self. "I thought I would give it a try. Was a last minute idea." Circe nodded. "I didn't know you were an artist." She managed a subtle smile.
Then just like that class began. When their Zixil Braxton, as he had dubbed himself, walked in she stared with wide eyes at the container. Please don't let this be another protection charm lesson.
Thankfully after explained what they were supposed to do there was no mention of such things. She could breathe easy. Circe calmly got out of her chair and made her way to the front of the desk and retrieved her six beads then walked back to her seat and sat down. "Sorry." She said before she tried to crunch up two at a time. One second they were wailing the next they were silent. This was surely not the best way to go. But she would just have to suck it up and do it anyways if she wanted to learn how to one day become artistic enough to do tattoo's. "I can do this." She said out loud a bit more confidently before she began crunching the little beads like no one's business.
When she had finished she turned to Mitzi and smiled. "Nothing to it." She said with a thumbs up, trying to reassure her friend if she was having any doubts about this that it was okay.

After he had signed up, Alex had taken his time making his way to sitting down on the other side of Yin. The classroom didn't take long to fill up with more students, some of which Alex recognized but there were still a couple he didn't know. He gave a wave to Mort, Mitzi, and Mei when each entered the room. He didn't even know that Danny was there until she was hugging Yin from behind, but he gave her a small smile and offered a greeting as well, before the teacher entered the room with a sound that made Alex jump in his seat.
Paranoid? What? No, not at all!
His fingers twitched, his hands itching to reach over and grab a hold of one of Yin's though the urge subsided once he saw that it was just the door hitting the wall that had caused the noise. He looked visibly relieved, and glanced over towards Yin to give the weremantis a quick smile to show that he was alright, and that he was coping.
He listened to what the professor had to say, eyes roaming to the transparent container with it's multi-colored and very mobile beads. So all they had to do was crush them and they would be still again? That seemed almost too easy for the zomboil, who's death grip would easily be up to the task. He pushed himself back and out from his table, making his way up to the desk and reaching in to the container to retrieve six of the beads. It was a little bit tricky, but he managed to get the required amount, and made his way back to his table, carefully holding all of the beads between cupped hands as he sat back down. The wailing noise they made was a tad bit disconcerting, but Alex tried to ignore them, as he shook them all over into one hand and closed it into a fist. The resulting crunching sound, which cut off the wails quite nicely, was strangely satisfying.

Alex's wave didn't go unnoticed as he responded in kind. But it was Yin's arrival that made his ear perk, and the wolfos smiled in reply to the boil's question. "Less about crafting, and more of.. what the professor and I spoke of on scarentines. About... I suppose one might call it crafting items for market? Yes, just a subject on how to turn a profit." He looked over to the walls. "Though I wonder if I made a good decision I am not so skilled with my hands as you...might know." As he was still awkward in a human form. Danny's arrival made King lean back a bit, still not used to the 'peppy' nature of others. "Miss Danny. I take it you've been doing well?" The door slamming open had King suddenly on high alert, tail fluffying outward. It only calmed when he realized it was the teacher. Beads then? Standing he motioned to Yin and Danny, "I can get us some if you like? Less crowding."

Yin had not considered the use of arts and crafts for profit but it certainly made sense. He was about to tell the wolfos as much when suddenly there were arms around him, causing him to freeze, eyes widening. The only thing that kept him from bringing his claws up and tearing at the warm arms was the voice that had reached his ears at just about the same time. Miss Danny. Still, he did not relax, and he looked distinctly uncomfortable with the situation. But this was a ghoul, and Miss Danny...Miss Danny had a chosen, Miss Danny was safe. The words seemed to almost be repeating as a mantra through his mind as he managed to get out a "greetings Miss Danny.". A mantra that was shattered by the arrival of the teacher. He did jump a bit at that, whipping his head around at a possibly unnatural angle for most to watch them come in, then glancing at Alexander to make sure that he was fine. But an opportunity to get up and get his own supplies? "Thank you for the offer Frost in the Storm but I will get my own." He offered him a small smile as he stood, mainly concerned with no longer being hugged by Miss Danny as uncomfortable as that was in public. Of course, when he got to the beads he realized his error. Counting. Sitting up there and counting all the way to six in front of everyone as he would probably look utterly ridiculous? So instead he just reached in and grabbed a fairly decent handful of them, carting them back to his seat. As he did he might have closed his fist rather tightly, silencing most. But when he laid them out on the table some still wailed so he began smacking them. A few shot off into the distance but he still had more than enough. Six plus...another 15 or 20 was okay...right?

Beads. BEADS? Danny LOVED beads. Well she thought she did. Actually, she'd never really worked with beads.
... King offered to get her some beads, but Danny was already up and going for the beads. "Noooooo," she whined, "I wanna pick I wanna pick!" Seriously she was a kindergartner trapped in a teenager's body.
She ended up picking ones that she thought looked tough including a tiny purple dragon bead. That one was neat. Actually, all of these beads were neat, but she really liked that purple dragon. Danny grabbed a blue crow and a green bug too. Ooh that red car looked cool. A blue dolphin. She noticed Yin grab a big handful and smiled. So they could take as many as they want? She grabbed a handful in in right hand, but kept all the special ones she'd picked out in her left. Pretty soon she was satisfied, and she ran back to the seat on Yin's other side.
How did these things work again? Danny hadn't been paying attention at all to the teacher. "Hey Yin, what do we-" He was smashing the beads. Oh my jack best class ever. Danny began just wailing on her beads, no concern for the little things at all. Crunch crunch crunch. Best class. Best class.

Mei watched with a small grin on her face as the instructor entered the room. In quite a....unusual fashion. She leaned forward on the table in front of her. Propping her chin in her hands as she rested her elbows on it, crossing her legs at the ankles.
As he set down his supplies, she leaned forward a bit. Listening to his instructions carefully. Beads hm? Well it was a start. She was kind of hoping to maybe do something a bit more involved then bead work but oh well.
Making her way over to the supplies, Mei picked out 6 random colorful beads. Each a different color and size. Scrambling back to her chair she laid them out in front of her, picking one up in between her thumb and pointer finger. Examining it closely as it made little noises of protest.
Setting the bead back down with the rest she gathered them all into a group before she started smashing them with the palm of her hand. The beads crunching all the while.
So far so good. The beads were silenced. Mei rolled them about individually with a finger across her table. Lining them up in a straight light before rolling them around again with the palm of her hand.

Oh, well finally! People Taryn knew began filing in, and while they all seemed otherwise engaged, they were at least around. A half-a-ghoul whose name she couldn't remember floated to the back of the room and she offered a wave. They'd met once during Christmastival!
She turned suddenly when the professor came in, though, and she went to the front of the room to grab a handful of beads. She felt a bit bad for the little things, they were wiling pitifully and all... but they were just beads. Just beads. Nothing was as it seemed...
She crunched them in her hand on her way back to her seat, her expression a bit tight. Alright, it was time for artist Taryn, not warrior Taryn. The stress slowly began to leave her face.

Siddie picked out six beads when it was her turn, two purple, two pink, two black, and folded her fingers carefully around the wiggling beads as she made her way back to her desk. Their screams were cute. Hmmm. She raised her free hand. "Professor Braxton? Do we have to crush them or can we stab them instead?"
