Myka smiled as she snuck up on Roy, throwing a baguette at him. "Why are you playing with zeee bread, you stuuupid Ameeerican!" she called from behind a cart.

Roy quickly lifted his hands when he saw something out of the corner of his eye and managed to catch the bread. "I-I, uh, whaa-?" He stared at the food in confusion then jumped back when he heard someone yell at him. "N-No! It jumped out at me, I swear!" he yelped and sighed at how stupid he sounded. Even he wouldn't believe himself!

"Oh, really?" she giggled, stepping out. "Hello there, Roy. Long time, no see."

Roy lifted the bread to defend himself until he heard his name called out by a familiar voice. "Myka?" he blinked and smiled when he saw her. "Oh my God! It's been ages!" he laughed and ran over to her. He dropped the bread and hugged her. "How've you been?"

Hugging back, she grinned. "Great I suppose. Arwen's sixteen and Ben's eleven, I'm still twenty, although I'm in my eighteen year old body, and my job sucks for the most part. And you, Mr. Prince? How have you been?"

"Well I hate my life." Roy smiled as if he heard a funny joke. "Lena and Erik have gone missing, Dragon left with Armageddon, the twins are stuck in some war I just learned about, and to top things off, I just found out I'm about to become the king of Sirens and an old, run-down kingdom." he sighed as he let go of her. "So not bad, I guess."

She chuckled, pulling him over to a cafe and sitting at a two person table. "And here I was, thinking my life sucked. What about your queen? Every king needs a queen."

"Don't even talk about that to me." Roy groaned and leaned against his elbows on the table. "The only ones I'd consider marrying is Daisy and Carnation, and that's the whole reason I'm here!" He hung his head and sighed, "I managed to convince Bennacio to wait for me to turn 22 until I'm crowned king, which is when I'll need a wife, so until then he's taken on the duty of finding me someone." He looked back at her with his lavender eyes. "But enough about me. You said your kids were how old?"

She sighed, crossing her legs and arms. "Sixteen and eleven. You know how I married Trayl right after Damian left so I could have help with the kids? Well, she died, and left me and my kids a spell that made them nine years older. I was already going to stay eighteen forever, but it's starting to irritate me. So now, I'm a twice married, thrice widowed single mother with a jojoba that depresses me and a life that just needs to end. I can't keep going on without him, Roy. It's just too hard."

He took her hand lightly. "I know it's hard, believe me, I go through the same heartache each day, but you can't break down. No matter how low your soul feels, you can't fall, not for your kids." he said softly and looked her in the eye

"I haven't fallen yet," she said, her voice low, "and I don't intend on doing so anytime soon. For my kids." Closing her eyes, she took a deep breath. "I just want him back, if only for a day. Just to have him in my arms again."

Roy nodded and leaned back in his seat again. "Well the Apocalypse can't be too far away, right? Have the Horsemen ridden yet?"

She snorted. "Oh please, Dante won't even listen to stories about the other Riders, much less ride with them."

Roy blinked. A Rider that didn't believe in his own stories? "Well he'd better hurry and get on that horse." he muttered, drumming his fingers along the table. "I saw Nikolai some time ago and he said Hell was getting antsy. Anymore protest and he'd be forced to assign new Horsemen." He smiled. "Of course he was supposed to do that two months ago, but according to Chaos he's been in a 'hibernation'."

She sighed. "But Dante is not under my jurisdiction. I can't control him, no matter how ready the other three are."
