Brian O'Callighan Brian followed Shayla out of the club. He noticed the snow and her thin jacket. "Do you want my jacket?" He asked her. He would be fine but he was concerned for her. "I have two on. So you can the trench." He smiled. He knew her importance to the boss. But he hadn't grasped the weather of Chicago yet.

Shayla Fagan "Don't Worry Galahad, I have had this coat for awhile and I haven't frozen yet." She said as she walked along. Besides once we cut down this alley we will be out of the wind and I can show you a few short cuts. You need to learn them and well this city is a labyrinthine." She said proudly as she turned down the alley and then cut into a side alleyway that was only just wide enough for her to walk without having to turn sideways.

Brian O'CallighanHe smiled as he tried to stay close. He turned sideways to follow her down the ally way. "I see." He said. He was shocked on how she moved quickly. He thought about what she had said about the city being a labyrinth. She was right. "So where are we headed?" He asked. He liked to know where he went so if he had time he could try to find them.

Shayla Fagan "Let's say the man who runs the doc's is an old friend." She said slyly. She reached back and took his hand "Stick close, they don't like new faces, just play along." She said as she took out a key to a small door and walked inside. Once there they saw a poker game in progress, and were greeted by the men drawing their weapons.

Gangsters[NPC] The men were shocked when the door opened since only those with keys could do that. When they saw it was Shay and she was not alone they were even more shocked, and thought perhaps he had forced her here, to get a David McCullough he was the dock master in Chicago and in this city anyone who controlled the flow of imports and exports needed to be careful.

Brian O'CallighanHe looked at the men who had guns drawn. "Geeze." He said. He didn't notice that Shayla had grabbed his hand. He knew how to follow along. He knew he had them out gun. But he wasn't fast then guns already draw. "Easy guys." He said.

Shayla Fagan "He is a friend, he knows who is responsible for what happened to papa and my brothers." She said as she walked forward pulling Brian along with her. "He has a name, and knows he is on the docks. I have never asked you for anything beyond dealing with those who killed, my father your friend." She said while she waited for the oldest man at the table to speak.

David McCullough [NPC] David set down his cards and sighed. "Shay, you should go to your mother in Boston.....but I know you will not listen so I will help you." He said as he stood and put a hand on her shoulder. Then he turned and looked at the young man suspiciously. "And what do you know of this matter that could help me put an old friends soul to rest?" He asked as he waved a hand and the others put away their weapons and returned to the original small conversations and game.

Brian O'Callighan"Sir Mr. Fagan helped me into this country. And the Don that was killed was a friend." He said. He relaxed as the guns were being put away. "The man is a leader of the North gang. Hymie Weiss. A police buddy confirmed he was by the docks." He smiled. "And it's not the Irish way not to get revenge." He thought a bit. "I don't know if Capone knows where he is. If so the Italians might strike as well."

David McCullough [NPC] David scoffed "boy if you think its not the Irish way to get revenge, you have another thing coming." Boys find me which dock house was rented by a Hymie Wess, when you find it tell me immediately." When he spoke three of the men left immediately for the room above which held all the records. when they had gone he turned once again to Brian. "So young pup, what makes you say the Irish don't go for revenge. DO you not know the history of your own people?" David gestured to the empty chairs indicating Brian and shayla should sit while he did the same.

Brian O'Callighan"I know the history." He said sitting down. "It's not the Irish way if you don't get revenge." He thought about the sentence. "What I mean is your not Irish if don't get back at people." He leaned back and smiled. "As for Capone. The Don was not the target of the hit. It was suppose to be Capone. So he is know angry." Brian sighed. "Capone doesn't care for us Irish. But at the moment he has bigger concerns."

David McCullough [NPC] When the boys come back with the records you can take whats left to your people, but this needs to be settled by myself with shay as witness." He said matter of factly, because the issue was not open for discussion. I will only promise he will be alive enough to speak." He said as he opened a cigar box and offered one to Brian.

Shayla Fagan Shay squeezed Brian's hand under the table and pushed it forward under the table trying to make him understand he should take a cigar. If he didn't it would be offensive. She tried to be respectful here while his men were around when they were alone she could speak freely, but she knew how important it was that he not loose any face. This was hard as she had to listen to the boys talk shop and accept it, when she wanted to scream that she had more reason than any for revenge.

Brian O'Callighan"My boss is busy. I wouldn't like to add to his problems." He said. Brian took the cigar. He could have gotten away of not accepting it at the club. But her, Brian had to play by their rules. "I'm going with." He said. "I don't have to be on the inside when it happens." He looked at the man. He tried show him not coming along wasn't an option. "I will come and make sure we don't have unwanted company." He spun the cigar between his fingers. "And trust me if he is alone. He will soon have friends."

David McCullough [NPC] "Perhaps, but accidents happen all the time you see, working around the docks can be very dangerous." David said as he lit his cigar and tossed Brian the box of matches. "Besides do you really think I would do anything to put my only goddaughter in harms way?" He asked almost sounding hurt, Brian had never married nor had he any children Ewan Fagan had been like his brother and had always been like an uncle to his kids. He felt all the more responsible since it was he that got Ewan and his sons their jobs at the docks, if he hadn't they never would of been there when the hit went down and it plagued him terribly.
