She was never close with her Korean family, nagging her in that horrid accent, which she, luckily, she hadn't picked up. Once she was 19, she moved to Chicago without hesitation. Also abit of a ball buster Bio:Furio was the don of the Gattarini family for quite some time with his younger brother Francesca's father as his underboss, but he decided he was getting too old and put his brother up as the head of the family. But he grew bored of his life not having much to do so he moved to Chicago and dipped his old hands into some less than legal activities here and there to put some excitement into his life. Now in his 70s his young niece has made her way to Chicago to have a run at her criminal empire without her father. So Furio decided he would finally retire fully and just lends his smarts to his niece from time to time. He joined the army when his country needed him, but he wasn't very good at the whole war thing, so they put him in the quartermasters office. It proved all too easy for him to alter documents and change addresses and soon he had a nice little nest egg and a steady stream of Marks. All good things come to an end however and the authorities caught on. He made a run for it, but was caught and convicted and spent five years in prison. After getting out he picked up where he left off, but once again the law got wind and this time he made good on his escape. Role: Arms Dealer. Nationality: Deutsch (German) Weapons: Mauser C98 "Broom-handle", Luger P08, German Trench Spike, Obrez. As an arms dealer, he also has access to anything you can think of, and a few things you can't. Personality: Charming, but also blunt. He has a tendency to let the merchandise speak for itself, particularly if a deal goes bad. Bio: Efficient and as clean as a man on the run from the German authorities can be, he considered going east into China, but decided that between the South American penchant for political instability and the mafia in the US the Americas could prove lucrative. He has a very keen head for business and is particularly shrewd. Extra info: Despite his shrewdness he is terrible at judging people's intentions. This has lead to four dead partners (three by his own gun) and a trail of lovers, each one more greedy and more psychotic than the last. He smokes a pipe and has a personal stash of liquor in his car. He drives a Wanderer W8 5/20 Automobile, the trunk of which houses a secret compartment for merchandise. Bio: A foundling left on a church step, Rosa was raised in the Our Lady of Peace orphanage for girls. Never getting adopted she was forced to leave when she was 17 and look for work. While Rose tried she could find nothing and started working at various clubs as a dancer. Eventually she found her way to the Phoenix at age 17 and she is fiercely loyal to the owner who was the first person to ever treat her with more than just a pawn like most club owners, and patrons or a pathetic thing subject to only pity like the sisters. Outspoken. Impulsive. Brian doesn't like to play by the rules, but manages to buck authority discretely, preferring to remain in the background than be in the spotlight. He has no qualms in speaking his mind, and letting out snips of sarcasm when needed. He is naturally curious by nature, rowdy too, and is quick to do whatever strikes his fancy at the time. Bio: For most of his young life, Brian looked up to his father. A model police detective who had strict codes of conduct and held his house in a distinct manner. He tolerated no horsing around or even the slip of disrespect. And when it came to grades in school, he was even stricter about them being the highest marks he could achieve. His mother did little more than back his father, and Brian was often skipping school, and hanging around a rag tag bunch of hoodlum children playing hooky. His fathers displeasure was often swift in coming, and it sent resentment through the young boy. He did buckle down and get serious about his studies, leaving school early at seventeen and joining the police in their cadet program. He has made several trips to China and has a grave plot waiting for him there when he dies. His criminal enterprises include prostitution, gambling, and the sale and traffic of Ta-Yen, otherwise known as Chinese opium. He quickly rose in ranks and when he was twenty-five was second hand to boss. The don had taken Arturo as his own son and passed the “family business” on to Arturo. For the past fifteen years, Arturo has been running things. He never has to get his hands dirty now that he has an army to do it for him. However, he did kill his wife’s parents and sisters.
