"I seem to have encountered Hyatt on my way to the palace. Some of the soldiers were giving him a hard time..."

Ming chuckled, "Up to your usual schemes then, Hyatt?" Come inside, both of you... I am quite busy comparing for a ball tonight. There will be a gathering of the world leaders... I want this war to stop without the need for violence. I want a peace treaty to be signed." An idea suddenly struck. "Both of you... You should come to the ball tonight. I'll be sure you are dressed appropriately."

Ashe didn't look thrill by the idea. "Me? At a ball? In a dress? Not really my scene..."

"As loyalty to the Queen it is an honor to say i will definitely be attending. And Kitsuro will accompany me." Hyatt said grinning and kitsuro squirming and trying to run. "No please no, she'll dress me in small animal tuxedos and other things please dont do it Hyatt." He said looking at him cutely.
"Whats that kitsuro? You want to be dressed up by Ming, well you can most certainly." Hyatt said tauntingly

Ming took Ashe's hand, "You have to come to the ball... it will give us some time to catch up. I love all the stories you tell me of your adventures."

Ashe sighed, seeing the pleading look in Ming's eyes. "Okay... fine... I'll come..." She rolled her eyes.

"Splendid! I'll have my staff escort you to some rooms to get you ready for the evening. Come along!"

Ashe suddenly felt a servant usher her along into the palace. "Okay, okay... I have two feet, I'm walking. No need to rush me." She looked back at Hyatt, who seemed to be thrilled by the idea. She had no idea why he was. Easily please... I guess?

"Ashe... I'll have my two best girls on the job with you!"

"Oh... brilliant... fantastic... just what I was hoping for." The sarcasm in her tone was more than obvious.

Ming shook her head. "She's always full of joy..." She chuckled before turning to Hyatt. "Hyatt, follow my member of staff up to your room. A tailor will be with you shortly to sort out your attire."

Hyatt smiled and nodded. "By all means." he said following the staff member to the room but not before looking back as Ashe. "You like her~" Kitsuro said but Hyatt shook his head. "No, but even if i did i bet she likes guys braver than me." he said doubting himself

Ashe had settled in her room for a few minutes before she heard a knock at the door. "...Come in." She saw two young girls enter.

"Hi! I'm Mira... I'm be doing your makeup today! This is my sister, Nira. She'll be doing your hair." The girls had this really eerie grin about them.

"Mira... Nira... How did I not guess you are identical twins." Ashe said dryly.

The girls giggled before surrounding the pirate, pushing her down into the chair of the dresser. Nira was already fiddling with Ashe's hair, untieing and watching as it feel down her back. "Why do you tie your hair up all the time, it's so long and beautiful. This has got to be the most beautiful hair I've ever seen!" Ashe's hair was naturally raven black and formed loose waves down her back.

Ashe wasn't too bothered with her appearance. She didn't wear makeup, she didn't feel the need to style her hair. It was practical in her lifestyle to tie her hair up so it was out of her face.

Mira examined her face. "She has beautiful hair and skin. You must have swarms of men after you..."

Ashe cracked a smile, "Sometimes..." She did attract male attention, but not the type she wanted. Most of men she attracted were assholes and only after one thing, that she wasn't giving to them. "I tend to keep to myself."

The tailor knocked on the door before stepping into Hyatt's room. He was a short man, no taller than 5'4". He looked up at Hyatt, "Lucky a brought a stool then eh?" He placed his stool in the middle of the room, as well as placing various sized tuxedos on the bed. "If you could stand next to the stool, your legs shoulder width apart and your arms stretched out to the sides. That would be perfect. I need to measure you so I can get the correct size for you."

The tailor cracked Hyatt a grin. "I saw a young woman being guided into another room. Is that your wife? If so, she is stunning, you're very lucky." He was referring to Ashe.

Hyatt blushed dark red. "I well um, no shes just a friend i...well youre right she is, she's very stunning and she even saved me. Shes my ticket out the county too, shes got a boat and im gonna be first on it and out of here , see the world." he said smiling and standing next to ready.
"Yeah but youre too chicken to say it." Kitsuro said
Hyatt growled at him. "Yeah but no, i want to tell her but i doubt she'll listen to me, im not her type. She probably wants more of a tough strong man..." He said looking away

Tailor chuckled, "Love at first sight, then?" The tailor was obviously kidding, and had finished measuring Hyatt. " If you could try on these two tuxedos, I can see which one has the better fit and see of any adjustments are needed. And hey, I wouldn't doubt yourself. Standing in front of me, and measuring your proportions... they're perfect."

Nira had managed to finish Ashe's hair with minimum fuss. She had left it down but gave her loose waves. Mira studied her face, "Now... What to do with you. I want to add subtle colour to your face, and bring out the intensity of your eyes." Ashe's eyes shifted to the makeup brush Mira lifted. "Don't even think about. You're not touching me with that."

Mira saw the fierce gleam in Ashe's eyes. "It'll only take a few seconds..." Mira reached the brush toward toward Ashe's face only to have her fist tightly grabbed. Ashe craned her neck to face Mira. "Do I have to repeat myself?"

Mira was a determined girl, and persisted with the brushes. Seconds later, Mira found herself on the ground, Ashe straddled over her. "I will break your arm!" Nira had backed off into a corner, she sighed. "Now I'm gonna have to do her hair again..."

Mira's eyes widened, "Hey! Let's not do anything drastic now..."

The tailor's ears twitched when he heard a crash from the adjacent room. "What was that?" He heard another crash and and some screams. "Sir Hyatt... I think we should check up on them." He quickly scurried out of the room, knocking on the door."Ladies?" He slowly opened the door to see Ashe wrestling Mira, he also noticed Ashe's robe slipping and quickly turned away. "On my..."

Hyatt also heard the noise and wanted to follow but Kitsuro shook his head.
"i wouldnt do that, i can hear better than you and i heard whats going on, best not to go near that girl she sounds angery and shes a pirate, what made you think in the first place that you are safe around here? let alone like here?!" kitsuro asked flailing his little fox arms trying to keep hyatt in the room but all he did was stop and look at him and say.
"yeah im not the smartest person but i do know shes from another place, shes seen what i want to see and shes what i want. If this is what i truely want im going for it." he said and took off to the other room and kitsuro sighed. "im not human enough to handle this." he said.
hyatt go to the room and saw the tailor. "whats wrong with you?" he asked then he looked in the room and saw Ashe. He completely ignored the fact she was practically exposed and grabbed her.
"whats youre deal? let her go." he said prying Ashe off of the poor girl. "you almost broke her arm." he said looking at her trying his best to just look at her face not the rest of her body.

"Would you let go of me?!" Hyatt was stronger than Ashe anticipated, she managed to manouvre herself, only to find her face centimetres from his. She find herself staring him in the eyes for a few seconds before getting herself out of his grip. She could also see where his eyes were drifting to. "You'll go blind..."

She fixed her robe and looked over at Mira on the floor before sighing. "Mira... I'm... s-sorry. Lost control of my temper a little there... I'm just a fan of foreign products being out on my face." She helped the poor girl and sat back on the chair. "You can... paint my face... with whatyever crap you want." She looked over at the Hyatt and the tailor. "Well... you can go now." She generally despiseed having to apologise to people.

Tailor nodded. "Well, Sir Hyatt, everything is under control." He guided Hyatt back to his room. "Now, if you could try on this tuxedo for me."

Hyatt sighed and went back to the other room with the tailor and smiled. "yeah, she likes me. if she didnt, even just a little, she would have snapped my neck." he said calmly as he took one of the tuxedos and went behind a changing shade. kitsuro sat on the bed twitching his ears. "this might end out good....somehow." he said

The makeup artist studied Ashe's complexion. "It seems I need no foundation for you, I can't see a simple, any dark circles or rosy areas. We'll start with your eyes." Mira dabbled in a warm peach colour, creating a wash over Ashe's eyelids. With a brush with more precision, she took a black shadow and blended it on the outer corners of her eyes, bring the black to her lower lash line, finishing with a black liner on the bottom water line and along her top lash liner as well as some mascara. She added a faint pink blush to Ashe's cheeks, adding slight shimmer to enhance her radiance. Mira finished by adding a pale red lip stain rather than lipstick, it looked more natural, giving Ashe a bit of colour. "We're done. Nira, have a look." Nira carefully placed the last piece of hair where she wanted it before going round to take a look at Ashe's face, all she could say was "Wow..." She held a mirror to Ashe's face.

Ashe was a little speechless herself. "Uh... Thank you... Girls." The twins chuckled in unison. "We do our best. Your dress is laid out on the her, your shoes in a box on the floor. We'll leave you to change. The queen requested you accompany her for when the ball commences. She will be waiting by the stairs." Ashe simply gave them a nod, watching them leave. She wandered over to her bed, revealing the dress she would be wearing. "Ming seriously wants me to go out in this?" There was a small smile on Ashe's face, she did like the colour, but she did question the high slit of the dress which would reveal her entire leg. She slipped on the dress, it fit like a glove. The pale cream shoes in the box were shockingly comfortable for their height. "I guess I'm ready. She left the room, seeing Ming waiting in the corridor just before the grand stairs to the main hall.

Tailor adjusted the tuxedo according the Hyatt's measurements. "I suggest you wait in the main hall, guests have started to arrive, you could mingle. Queen Ming has asked Lady Ashe to accompany her to open the ball."

"Alright." Hyatt said going into the main hall and watching as all the guest began to flock in, he didnt want to mingle he just wanted to blend, be unseen and as he tried so hard to do other times, not cause trouble. He said down at a small table far far to the right out of everyones view but to his efforts someone came to sit. "You dont mind do you?" She asked, she was young, blonde and had a quite nice azure dress on that went well with her eyes but Hyatt thought nothing of it.
"No, by all means." He said smiling and she sat.
"Alone are you?" she asked looking at him up and down.
"No, but id rather be else were." he said and she smiled.
"Same, but one of the country leaders insists that i follow everywhere. I bet you've never been out of this country." she said grinning.
"How so?" He asked leaning in to her.
"If you did get out you'd know i was from Khent, and that you should stay away from me, im very dangerous." she said expecting him to go but Hyatt just laughed.
"Dangerous? Ha, in all my years, ive never seen a dangerous women as stupid as you." He said and looked her dead in the eyes.
"Maybe i like dangerous girls, too bad you'll never know." he said getting up and she grinned.
"Oh we'll see, im gonna keep a close eye on you boy." she said knowing something was different about him.

All Ming could do was blink when she saw Ashe walking down the hall. "Ashe... Oh my goodness..." Ashe did look phenomenal.

Ashe quirked an eyebrow at Ming. "What? Can you just introduce this ball already?"

Ming chuckled. "Always the enthusiastic one... Alright... The band we start playing any sec-" And right on cue, the royal trumpets began to play. "Come on.. You're walking down with me."

She watched as Ming walked around the corridor, about to walk down the stairs. She groaned, following after Her Majesty. Walking beside Ming, all eyes seemed to turn to them. Many of the male politicians were staring at Ashe rather than the Queen.

Ming began to speak once they had reached the bottom of the stairs. "Welcome to my palace. I hope today we can make a new page in history, for the better of our world and individual nations." Royalty and politicians alike look with shift eyes at each other. This would take some time. "I hope you enjoy the ball this evening, I heard the wine is divine." Slow jazz music played in the background, Ming wandered off to talk negotiations with other world leaders.

Ashe glanced around the hall, this really wasn't her scene. People in posh clothing talking about the political world. Some of the male councillors did look Ashe up and down, the looks on their faces with a little smirk on them... It made her want to.punch them in the face.

The girl walked over and saw Ashe. "Well well if it isnt the little sea rat, Ashe." she said putting her hand at her side. Her name was Kira and she was Ashes rival even before they met. "So they let just anyone come to these parties anytime?" she asked laughing knowing it would upset her.
Hyatt looked around still wanting to stay out of it all until he could get to the leaders and speak to them

Ashe's eyes twitched, She has no idea how much I want to slam a foot in her face right now.... "Listen, little girl... I really don't have time for you right now. I don't even want to be here... I happen to be a close friend of Queen Ming and I was visiting. I couldn't decline a friend an invitation, it would be rude. If you'll excuse me... I have better ways to spend my time rather than wasting it with you." She looked around, seeing Hyatt... probably the first time she'd felt releif from seeing his face. She walked over to him, "Hyatt... I see the tailor made you look like somewhat of a fruit basket... At least you look a little better than most of the councillors here. I feel so silly in this dress and heels... this isn't me..."
