Were they serious? They honestly thought the plan was fine? Everything was falling apart around them. What really got to Shion was the fact that they said half their plan, and probably the reason it went to hell, was all for fun. They talked about being serious, facing death, and getting the job done, but then they want to risk everything on a little fun? This was going to get Shion killed, she just knew it. "So, half the team could die, but as long as the objective is completed, we're in the green, right? What ever, plans going to s**t and the team getting seperated and almost killed seems to be working out so far, tattebako," she said, walking over to the opposite end of the cave. She wanted nothing to do with their carelessness right now.

Now was the point where it would strike...the moment when their emotions were scattered and mixed. It had followed them, looming like a shadow and remaining hidden. Annoyance and bonds were being forged in that cave. It appeared in outside the entrance of the cave, appearing there once there were no eyes on it. What was this...liquid? Liquid raining down from the sky in this desolate land? It didn't know what it was...but it was angry. It was enraged, even. Among all the things that it despised and hated, water was the most enraging part of nature to that thing.

It entered the mouth of the cave, and emitted an extremely loud and shrill shriek. Not from a mouth...but just...made noise. From its back, extended many tendrils, and its legs and arms that it stood with seemed to extend and almost dislocate their own joints as it clutched to the sides of the cave and leaned in forward. They had aggravated it, and now they would face its fury.

As Ahri, and Samson began to converse outside the cave she could hear Shion and Viki continue to argue. It wasn't very common, but something that Viki said seemed to have gotten underneath her skin. It may have been her tone of voice, or the fact she was belittling her, either way it was something Ahri wasn't gonna tolerate anymore. Viki began to move towards Ahri in an attempt to "heal her sanity" when suddenly she would feel an abrupt push from Ahri. "No! You..." she said in her shyish manner. Deciding to face her problems she stood up straight, glaring at Viki. "You have done quite enough!" Gesturing towards how she put Ahri's life on the line for her own personal gain. This new side of Ahri was quite a change, she was now standing up for herself, and wasn't going to be used as Viki's tool. "Oh, and one more thing. Its Ahri! Not Ahrei!"


((I dont know where Slenderman is targeting since were outside the cave, and i think Shion is the only one inside the cave. So ill react to slenderman once i figure out where he is in comparison to me))

"Enough!" He yelled out, to all of them. To shut them up. "You all need to understand that a team can't function if one member is broken or disorderly, and before you say that you know...no, you don't," he then looked to Shion and called out, "you have no right to complain, you did nothing to gather supplies or even make plans, Shion, Viki-chan is the leader, not you...don't question her leadership unless you have a complete understanding of the situation and can devise a better plan for our efforts," he then looked to Viki, "you almost tried to attack the admin, which probably costed us points too, our goal is to complete the tasks at hand, which are to survive and eliminate the enemy. The enemies are eliminating themselves and we're surviving and lastly, if we continue to argue like this, we'll all surely die and I'll be damned to go down because of some petty disagreements between fellow shinobi, I'd never forgive any of you if that happened. Don't allow for your teammates to question your judgement in strategy, mistakes happen, but, too many of them cost us dearly." He then heard a shriek, from Jack Slenderman, he had followed them here and now they were in danger, two things needed to happen, "Ahri, you're a genjutsu specialist right? Either turn off the rain, cause I think it's pissing our friend here off, or subdue that thing in a genjutsu so we can run. Doing both would be great too. Water-based might get him."

Viki stood. "Samson is right, Shion, you've done nothing." She then looked to Samson and heard his bit. "Shion. A Ninja is always supposed to sacrifice his or her comrade if it means securing and succeeding the mission. That is a Ninja Philosophy. Ninja exist for the mission, save all your comrades, don't put them in harms way if possible, however, completing the mission is key." Doing so she then stood and faced Ahri, face to face. Not only did Viki's eyes flash red momentarily. Her pupils changed to that of a snake's, horizontally thin yet still vertical. She also had teeth growing the size and sharpness of daggers. As ahri would attempt to shove her, not only would Viki not move, Ahri would feel as if she just struck diamond. Which in a way, she did. So viki would not move, yet Ahri would just have nearly broke her own hands. "Don't piss me off human." She then heard a screech, one even louder due to Viki's senses to that of a heightened wolf's. She seen the water, was it afraid? "I want to try something.. the water makes it mad. Meaning... if we used water on it we could defeat it.... if we used fire on it, it would either calm down or gain power... intresting." She said as she wondered, looking past Ahrei. "Does anyone know doton?" She asked, if not she then began to from tons, and by tons I mean a good fifty shadow clones. Looking to everyone else. "Everyone, form shadow clones, a lot, we are going to run past this thing.. I have an idea. And no one will die or get hurt if you two can shut the ******** up and hurry and follow suite." She said.

OOC: You cant auto-shove. I allowed it, only because now your character hands are just about useless. Kind of a good lesson, no?

As Ahri attempted to push Viki out of her personal space she was caught by surprise as Viki didn't budge. Her body seemed to have tensed up into a defensive state. Fortunately Ahri didnt give enough force to cause any damage to herself. It was clear that Viki was in this for herself, and nothing more. Perhaps it was time for her to act upon her full potential seeing how Samson knew the whole time that she was a genjutsu specialist.

"Samson...I'll need time, but I think can do this." Trusting in her own abilities Ahri gave her staff a half turn as the sands from withing began to rattle with the sounds of rain. What started as a shower became a heavy downpour as it covered the entire terrain. At this point of the exam she had lost all sense of fear, and dedicated this exam to growing stronger both in, and out. Ahri concentrated on the slender figure, visualizing the orb her sensei made her train with. "It's done." Ahri said as she looked at the provoked figure. Only time would tell if the genjutsu worked as Ahri had to wait for the beast to move. "If the genjutsu worked the slender figure will begin to flail. That can be our window of escape."

((Mizu: you can auto-shove as long as long as its an opposing reaction to an action, in which case you trying to "heal" my character was the action, and Ahri pushing her away was the reaction.Yeah, I was a crew member once too sweatdrop

Fire: Pending on if my genjutsu worked or not is entirely up to you. IDK if this thing is immune to genjutsu or not. Since my genjutsu doesnt take effect until
slenderman moves i didnt go into depth what the jutsu did so i apologize))

@ Fire: Are we inside or outside the cave? Ahri's post makes it seem like we are outside.

@ Cour: Thats correct, but thats also assuming that second party would not be able to react in time. As to where, if I am correct on Ahri's abilities, Viki is faster then yours lol not to mention she has the ranmaru. And with the Zao she has the senses of a heightened wolfs and her body did not tense up, her muscles are basically a diamond alloy. But enough OOC, it isnt to be in the chuunin exams.

Anyways, fire, your answer? So that we can all figure this out and make our posts understandable? lol

(Uh...I assumed everybody was in the cave. Der Grobmann is standing at the mouth of the cave. Shion is inside the cave, I think. And the other three are wherever you think you are.)

((Me and Samson were outside the cave, and I assumed Viki was outside too cuz she tried to "heal" Ahri. not sure bout Shion))

Let me settle this now. Go back. Read my post. She said COME HERE, she didnt try to, she said she was going to. Please read the posts that are posted.

Viki looked to Shion. Then to Samson. "Everyone out of the cave." Specifically Shion due to her and Viki being the only ones within the cave. She then looked to the gobberman and had an idea.. Her 50 clones would smirk lightly. "I have an idea.." She then threw several kunai at the gobberman, hopeing to enrage it to come at her, Viki, she smiled ever so slightly and then did something very childish doing everything in her power piss it off to come to kill or capture Viki. "Hey ugly, yeah, you, the one thats missing the face. I bet you don't get laid often you ugly son-of-a..." She then threw several more kunai, yet she had her hand under her shirt, it may look as if she was grabbing her stomach. However, all fifty clones had a plan. Except ten of them were forming a hand sign under their shirt, instead of doing what the other forty were and grabbing a special toy. "Bring it you ugly freak!"

(Speeding this along, slightly because of the predicted ending of this phase. Sorry for jumping the order a little, Snuff.)

Ahri was doing quite a good job...of angering it. It could feel the energies of the genjutsu trying to penetrate its system...but they wouldn't work. They affected the senses, but it didn't quite have senses. It saw, but not through vision. It heard, but not through sound. But, it could feel...and it felt water. How it hated it. It was facing her, until all the kunai started to sink into its body. It would turn awkwardly in its form, facing Viki. The knives stuck into it would sink into the body, eventually disappearing to never be found again. It screeched again, nearly deafening all who heard it. Its long and lanky arms would stick out towards Viki's mass of clones, and hundreds among hundreds of tendrils would lance forward from underneath the strange suit-like material it wore. They were slightly pointed at the end, giving it a piercing tip. With the speed that they flew, it aimed to impale each and every single being that was and looked like Viki. No clone or person had less than two tendrils flying toward them.

Viki smiled lightly, the ten that had formed the hand signs, well. One of those was Viki. Smiling the one that was Viki poofed into a rock and appeared outside where the boulder had been. A simple substition jutsu. The other two had done the same but as they were impaled, they threw shion past the tendrils, that were all stuck in the clones and one rock. Viki would appear and catch shion, then set her down beside her. Immediatly after throwing, the forty clones would expload in not only smoke, but a series of well executed paper bombs. Encaving the mouth, and encaving the beast. It would be trapped under tons of rock. And do to the water enraging it, it would not have seen this coming or have focused on any other life forced besides Viki's.

As the tags detonated and the tunnel began to collapse...time seemed to stop. Everybody would freeze in place, but could still look around. The Administrator materialized in a black mist, standing between the cave and the group of people. "I've seen enough from all the squads, so phase one ends here." Viki's plan would have worked, for a little bit. Nothing ever truly stopped that thing, but it would suffice. The Administrator pulled the weapon from his jacket and shot each of the four standing there. The shot would return them to their pod in reality. They would have a bit of food waiting inside them, but wouldn't be able to leave the pods themselves.
