Lilly smiled "I got this data pad off one of those soldiers." She said holding up the damaged pad. "Not a clue what is on it, or if i will even be able to get anything off of this. But, i was about to go up to my cave to try. If any of your boys got any other tech toys I want to see them." She said with pride. "You find anything good." Lilly asked him as she leaned back against the wall.

When the captain left, she went up to her room and began to carefully take apart the damaged case of the data pad. With any luck the hard drive was unaffected and she could attack that to her scanner and retrieve the data. It was a long shot but it was not like she had anything better to do.

Recieving the news from Lily he smiled evily, he always did love a good fight. Walking to a window he stared out at the wasteland of potential, he had been in cryo as a prisoner for too long. It was time for people to remember what he was capable of, a plan started forming in his head. Kraus headed for Lily's room to discuss some ideas, she had done well in extracting the information. No doubt she wanted first pick of the loot, and he couldnt blame her.

"Lilly darling" he said as he knocked on her door, she was sitting at her desk listening to music. His facination with her was kind of reckless, but she didnt seem to mind and she reminded him a little of home. She had a secured place and that was all she seemed to care about, "what do you know about our new friend?" He asked getting back to the business side of things. He leaned against the wall and recalled every detail from their first encounter with the armored man, heavy hitter no doubt about it.

"Might be" he laughed examining the pad, "but the time im enjoying now was stolen from nature by science anyway..." As far as he was concerned cryo stasis was an abomination, and humanity had become so weak that he has a following with only insanity, a sense of entitlement, and a lack of current information on his resume. If things wernt ******** before they were now, not to mention he was on a planet he didnt know existed until he put a man to the end of a blade. He was a survivor though... and on this planet that counted for alot more. He had little hope that any other than him and Lily would be alive much longer, and she would probably survive by bailing on him. Loyalty and pride were probably the things he missed most, Kraus would always have those even if he lost all else. "Lets put the scouts to work, i wanna know where she is hanging out before we form our plan;" he looked back at the pad for anything he might have missed.

Having heard the unification message from the secondary spaceport Kraus started organizing and collecting his men, no one was sure what he had in mind however. Collecting the only things of value to him he headed out to the main area to oversee the loadout of the gear. It was still amazing to him how so many would blindly follow the orders of a lunatic, he hadn't even told them... let alone decided what the plan was. What he knew however was he hadnt survived centuries to be cooped up in a dump of a hideout.

One of the least seasoned of the group made the grave mistake of approaching Kraus, 'sir are we attacking the marines? We could die!' Kraus grabbed the man by the collar of his shirt and pulled him slightly off his feet, "Yes... we could die, that would be an amazing end to the day dont you agree?" The look on his face alone had the man pissing himself, "Ive seen you around here... you volunteer for anything that keeps you safe here; have you ever even killed a man?" As he asked a wicked grin spread across his visage, 'No... whats it like?' The man asked nervously hoping to survive by playing along, as the man shook Kraus planted a hand on either side of his head. Straightening up he replied softly so only the sad excuse of a man could hear, "it's like sex... but there's a winner!"

One sick crunch and approximately five seconds later the distraction was in a pile of himself on the floor, "to clear up any confusion... our response when we get there will depend heavily on what we are met with!" If nothing else Kraus was a creature of excitement, the last few months had grown boring and he had to try something new lest he cleave his entire flock apart as they sleep. Not to mention the symbolism of his nature became perverted in his eyes the moment the laws disappeared, everyone had been driven to become some level of monster to survive and it made him look like just another maniac created by the disaster. Kraus however... was an old school kind of bad guy, he had his pride.

Victor spun on Lilly hearing her voice, "That man would have done nothing but get others killed... If they want to join the flock they have to be willing to fight for their right to survive." He thought she would have understood out of any of them, turning back to everyone he spoke louder. "This world wants you to lose... and if we allow vermin like that into the ranks it will destroy us from the inside." He looked around at the faces, most were nodding a couple still seemed hesitant. He pointed to three of them, "step forward."

They did quickly and waited nervously, "would you three like to be reassigned to patrol together?" They immediatly looked at each other to discover they were all small in build and not very experienced, they returned his eye comtact and shook their heads. "I know I can be interesting to surve under... but I put alot of thought into my decisions." He was deliberate and knew people, and sometimes harsh moves were necessary for moral. He motioned to Lilly and headed for his room, he had a few things to discuss before they left.
