STORY
In the history of the Universe of the Four Gods it had never happened before. It had ran it's course of sequence over a hundred times... with only the latest four being the only still in anyone's memory. Then Yuki Miaka opened the book standing next to her best friend Yui....
The gods were only supposed to awaken one at a time. But two were awoken at once. Fate would twist itself further when two more girls would open the book shortly after. In all it's history a balance had been maintained that in the quick actions of four girls was instantly destroyed. Four Gods, and the seven Seishi under each... and seven individuals scatterred around the lands find themselves drawn to Mt Taikyouku.
On the outside, the books become an emotional vortex. Drawing those close to the Miko into the book with them, while keeping the way out shut. On the inside, the universe has brought forth it's way of controlling this situation. The seven Seishi of the Kirin draw to Mt Taikyouku to find out their purpose. To restore balance, the Kirin Seishi must kill all four priestesses so that the cycle can be restored. If they can not succeed, the Sky God will once again cleave heaven and earth to begin the world anew... destroying one universe to create another.
The power of the Gods may be enough to save the universe... but with all four active at once, the power of each must be granted to one in order for the Miko to make her wish. And the Kirin is forbidden to act beyond what it has already done...
Each nation vies to give their Miko the power of the Wish. While there are some who only desperately fear losing the ones they did not have until they found their way into the book...
