Artie laughed, that was true, one of them had to know how to cook them both alive, and Arlen was certainly not the one to do. However, he was grateful for whatever his brother managed to make, and what was bacon and eggs with the toast? Sitting down, Artie took his toast, biting into it while his brother talked. "I did check it out! Our naked friend must have been hiding or something." He insisted pointing at the being. And it was more like his friend, the spirit only seemed to enjoy talking to him most days. He wasn't even sure if it tried talking to Arlen. Either way, the spirit seemed to love Artie. "Hopefully we'll get used to it." He stated, eating a piece of bacon while he watched the naked spirit. For a moment he thought of this being some weird porno if there was another naked ghost and it only gave him a blush before he looked down at his plate. His brother speaking up once again. "...Separate? But that's..." They were twins though, best friends, how could they separate. However, the more he thought about the more it seemed like a better idea than it originally seemed.

It would make his relationship with Kaizen a hell of a lot easier. He could probably see the other regularly as a lover not as a co-worker. Not to mention it would be easier than having to lie to Arlen constantly over the whole thing. Frowning slightly he heard the cellphone. "That guy Elias is determine to work our butts off..." He said, his brother going to their cell phones, picking up his. For a half of a second he prayed that it wasn't Kaizen but with his brother's tone he assumed that it was Elias. The other twin laughed again, taking the phone. "Hello, i'm guessing you want me and Arlen to be there right away?" He questioned humming against the phone while Elias talked far to much. How could a guy be this friendly anyway? Despite the fact that Elias didn't entirely like him. And the only reason was because well... Elias was the only one that knew about the whole relationship thing. "Right, fine, we'll be there as soon as we can." He said before hanging up. "Well, shove your food down. Elias said something about a haunted house!" He exclaimed. He had never been inside one. Sure they were technically in one, but he was suspecting that the naked spirit might have come from somewhere else not the apartment.

Elias laughed as Arlen picked up the phone. He thought that he had called Artie, but it was fine with the other twin. Besides, Arlen was by far more entertaining. Not to mention that he disagreed with Artie a bit. After all, this sweet brother that had answered the phone had no idea that his heart was being played with by his own brother. After speaking with Artie, Elias hung up the phone looking up at Kaizen while he sat down. "Well of course! It's a haunted house!" He said, far to excited for his liking. "I've never seen one. And i'll be damned if I miss it!" He would beg to let the twins let them come. And he figured that Artie wouldn't mind since it would be Kaizen but Arlen... he didn't know to much about the other. Either way, if Kaizen was going he sure was. However, when Kaizen mentioned the other twin he gave a nervous smile. Well, that would be a terrible thing. It made his stomach hurt even. He didn't want to be involved in the whole thing. But he didn't want the day to be ruined with a twin feud. So he would agree, and when this all came out he would apologize and hope that Arlen wouldn't hate him.

The ginger smiled, "Sure, of course." He turned to his computer, "The twins said they'll meet us there. So shall we go?" He questioned, turning off his computer before he went head into work all over again.

Arlen Twin Two

"I didn't say that it would be okay..."

Arlen wolfed his food down and nodded. He still had a full mouth as he grabbed his jacket and cellphone. A haunted house would be exciting. Usually they didn't go far from the facility, but this would be amazing. "Alright, let's go then! We have to get going if we plan on making it on time!" He wasn't even sure they had been given a time limit, but if they had he wouldn't like being late. Arlen hated being late. He was a bit excited at seeing Kaizen too. Were they even going to the agency first? Well if not he was sure he could see him after. Kaizen was always at work especially when the twins were there. It was odd but Arlen didn't mind seeing him. He was glad that Artie got along with him too though he missed the more obvious signs. He waved at their naked friend and shook his head. That guy was definitely scary. And he would be there until they returned. "How haunted do you think this house really is? I bet it's something cool." Though if it was another fake he would be furious. Often times what people thought were spirits were leaky pipes and shorted wires. They hadn't ever gotten a worth it call.

He stretched and put his shoes on grinning at his two matching socks. Glad he had found them before Elias had called. "Breakfast was good, Artie. Thank you, I'll be in the car." He shouted the last words before heading outside. The car wasn't anything fancy, but it was something the two had been sharing their entire lives mostly. Arlen was better with the car then he was with food. Well, most electronics and machines. He could figure them out quickly but a stove was foreign. He laughed at his own stupidity and hopped into the passengers seat. He didn't feel like driving today. He would drive home. Plus, Artie had the address not himself.

Leaning his head on the window he felt he cool glass. It was nice despite the warm of the house. The day was fairly decent, not too hot and not too cold, but Something bothered at him. It felt like an ominous day. Sighing he shook his head, "If this ghost is evil...I'll kill Elias if it is." Usually bad feelings were not good ones. Especially coming from the twins.

Kaizen The Manipulative One

"Did you hear that? It's the sound of me not caring."

Kaizen smiled happily, "Have I told you how much I loved you today?" He hugged Elias quick like and stood to go. "Ma'am, we ask you stay behind. If this is in fact an angry spirit we don't need you at risk." He spoke calmly, softly. His words meant no harm and his eyes twinkled with honesty. The woman nodded gently and passed him a house key. "I'll be at my sisters." He waved the key in front of Elias' face happily. "Now they have to let us go." When Elias agreed to watch over Arlen he threw his arms around his "boss" and almost yelled out in excitement. "You do care about me! I knew I liked you for a reason!" He never truly expected Elias to say no, but hey he could have surprised him right? Though with Elias' personality Kaizen wasn't sure the man knew the meaning of the word no...or how to say it. Shrugging he let go of Elias. That worked better in his favor anyway. Kaizen had no intention of ever taking advantage of Elias' kindness anyways, the people that did often had to answer to Kaizen himself. Chuckling he searched his desk for his keys.

Kaizen wasn't a tidy person but he wasn't messy either. He was just an average type cleaner. He was absent minded sometimes, he had he charm down he even had his persuasion skills down, but when it came to memory and finding things he was terrible at it. Eventually he found them stacked on top of books. "Do you want to go together or separately? Are we even leaving now?" He supposed that was a better question in itself. Maybe the twins needed to set up first. He had been on few jobs, Kaizen did paperwork he didn't actually help out. He was a filer and a part time counselor. Most of the time he hardly saw patients, but when he did he helped any way possible. He went through his head about other jobs and shrugged. "What the hell worst case is we wait a bit."

Mirroring his brother, Artie shoved the food into his mouth. Sad that he had to eat bacon so quickly instead of savoring the meal. Standing up, the twin poured water into his mouth washing down the breakfast. "Hopefully, if it's another fake i'm going to scream!" He exclaimed, so many people believed that their were spirits about, however, most of them believed it was happening to them. In other words, Artie and Arlen had a run for their money. Unless the deceased person was following the living person around. It had happened a few times, and it only made things more sad when Arlen and Artie communicated for the living person. "Thank you," He said, pulling on his own shoes before grabbing the keys and his cell phone. Receiving a text of the address. So, him and Arlen would be heading over there? He smiled and almost texted Kaizen to see if the other was going to be there as well. He smiled as he looked at the naked spirit, "We'll see you later." He said with a wave, "I"ll be waiting Artie!" He replied before floating away. Artie sighing, a blush on his face. Why did he have to be naked?

Heading to the car, Artie slid inside, "Alright, Elias sent me the address, hopefully they have the key." He mumbled, and hopefully Kaizen would be coming. He continued to smile down at his phone before giving a short reply to Kaizen. The two heading off in the direction of the 'haunted house.' And if this ghost was an angry spirit, well, he had a few tricks up his sleeve from the teachings of his mother and father from when he was little.

User Image

Elias smiled brightly, "Yes! Major score right here, maybe we'll even see some scary stuff like in the movies!" He replied, the excitement bright in his voice. Kaizen throwing his arms around Elias in reply to his agreement. Smiling, strained at the thought, he was going to purposely hurt someone. He nearly sighed, "What are best friends for?" He asked, despite the horrible feeling in his stomach. Moving some files around, the 'boss' of the branch quickly made sure everything was in order. He couldn't say that he was a clean freak, but he certainly had little intention to make things tidy but he liked everything to be a little in order. Especially when he faxed over the groups to the woman who had just hired the team. Elias laughed at the other's suggestion, "Of course, like hell I could wait. We're talking about a real live spirit!" well, it was most likely real, for all they knew it was fake. But the thought was exciting enough.

And the only time he had seen anything like that, was when Arlen and Artie started talking to air, when they realized that a spirit had been following around a relative. "Come on, i'll drive," He said, patting Kaizen's shoulder before reaching into his pocket and sending the address to Artie's phone and then replacing the electronic back into his pocket. Grinning at Kaizen, hopefully the twins wouldn't mind their tagging along. Especially if Artie wanted to have his alone time with Kaizen.

Arlen Twin Two

"I didn't say that it would be okay..."

Arlen nodded excitedly. He was calmer now, being in the outside world, but he was still just as easily read as before. He held nothing back, even if he didn't realize it. "I'm sure one of them will have the key." He muttered not even thinking about that. "We could break in if they don't. What will the woman care if we get rid of her ghost?" He shrugged as if breaking and entering was normal. Looking out the window he watched as they passed buildings here and there, but nothing really caught his attention. He saw the flicker of a spirit here, a laugh that didn't exist in the real life, the occasional glare from people. A lot of people thought their business was based on lies and deception. Arlen looked down on those people with a laugh and grin, but unfortunately he didn't have the defensive powers to laugh in those people's faces for real. He was reasonable most of the time, just not when it came to people calling him a liar or a scam artist. He hadn't even heard of that word until he was almost eighteen. As soon as people started saying that he got a bit more defensive about him and his brother - not that he would ever say it out loud. "Does that mean Elias and Kaizen are coming with us?" Arlen asked trying to be casual, but really it was easy to see he was more nervous about it. He preferred it when it was just him and Artie. Adding other people messed things up.

He wasn't so sure he wanted the answer after nearing the house. It wasn't huge but it wasn't small either. It had a normal look, nothing creepy or dark, Arlen found himself mildly disappointed in the appearance. "It's always the normal looking ones." Nothing like the scary movies he had watched growing up as a child. He was still looking for a house like all of those, dark, dangerous, lightning cracking in the background. The thought brought a thin smile to his lips. Definitely he wanted to find that house. "Hopefully our spirit friend doesn't mind the company then." He didn't bother waiting for Artie's answer. He knew the other two were going to come. They didn't tag along all the time but who would pass this chance up? Definitely not the people who worked at Shine. They looked forward to this stuff, especially after Artie and himself started working there. Though the thought of seeing Kaizen made Arlen more fidgety then necessary.

Kaizen The Manipulative One

"Did you hear that? It's the sound of me not caring."

Kaizen smirked and was glad him and Elias were so much alike. Well in some ways at least. He looked at his keys in hand and almost pouted. "Then I looked for these things for nothing." He sighed and tucked them into his pocket before following after Elias. Their lives revolved around the dead. Well, his did at least. Kaizen was more interested in the dead then he was the living. That all changed when the twins started working there. He became more fascinated with Artie. Sure, he had started in on Arlen but that was more to get him to agree to Kaizen's demands. Once he got what he wanted he had moved on. Sadly enough, Arlen wasn't the same way. He didn't move on and he was still following him around like a puppy. Sure, it was a bit cold and cruel but that was life. Kaizen had never actually been taught the art of loyalty and trust, he thought he was doing decently well until he had come here. It seemed the world looked down on what he did. They called it heartless. He grinned wickedly and shook his head. He really wasn't that bad was he? His thoughts finally becoming spoken words he looked up at Elias, "Hey, I'm not that bad am I?" There was a grin in his voice. He wasn't worried about the reply. He knew Elias loved him nonetheless.

Hopping into the car he clicked his seat belt into place and sighed. He hated car rides, one of the worst things in life. He got terrible motion sickness so unless he was closing his eyes or doped up he was usually throwing up in any moving thing. Needless to say he usually skipped out on carnivals and what not. "Hopefully this is a quick drive." He grumbled. Walking, bicycles what happened to the good old days?

Artie shrugged, "I don't think that'll help my social skills." He said, if anything it would royally screw him, he wasn't fit for jail, he'd literally be that new guy you'd go for a good time because he was to cowardly to stand up for himself. Driving, Artie kept his mind focused, ignoring any signs of spirits running about. It was sad really, how there were so many spirits that hadn't moved on. All with their own personal stories on how they passed away. He cringed before he made an appropriate turn. "I don't know, Elias didn't mention anything." If they were, he could be with Kaizen, and maybe he could push his brother at Elias for a while. It was low, but he was a human being, he had his flaws and it involved him being in love. "Either way, I don't think Elias would leave us hanging... he might be coming to give us the key." He explained before making another turn, looking at the upcoming house he was surprised as well. Their first time at a haunted house and it looked nothing like one would look like. It looked like a nice home, that had once been owned by an older male who had taken good care of his home. He frowned, "Yeah, hopefully," He replied softly before he pulled up, parking along the curb.

Stepping out of the car, Artie searched the front yard, seeing no signs of any spirits. Then again, the spirit was probably inside the house. Not to mention, "Wow, this place looks well taken care of." The grass was a dark rich green, the place looked freshly painted maybe a few months ago. Shiny and tidy on the outside. "Guy must have loved the house." Or the family had been taking care of it, either way, Artie slipped his hands into his pockets, leaning against the car.

Elias grinned, "What can I say, I like handling as much work as I can." It was the truth, passion drove him a long way, to the brink of pure exhaustion. And it also helped with the guilt always on his mind. The biggest one being Arlen. The poor guy was obviously so into Kaizen that it practically hurt his heart. And Kaizen the heartless b*****d wouldn't even tell Arlen to get over it. Not to mention how Artie wasn't helping either. "Sometimes I wonder," He replied with a snicker before he slid into the driver's seat next to Kaizen. Knowing that his best friend would get sick easily. He was almost tempted to make him sick so he couldn't go inside the house. And be with Artie when it was obvious that Arlen was dying to just stand next to him. He cleared his throat,"I'll try not to make you sick." He knew that he couldn't do it however, he couldn't be mean to kaizen. It was his best friend after all, instead he put the car in drive and drove carefully and slowly for his best friend. Making sure not to make his turns to sharp. Wondering to himself if the twins had made it yet.

Sighing he took a peek at the address before turning again and locating the twin's car. "Here we are. Hope I didn't make you car sick." He said silently apologizing while he parked. He was also hoping that Kaizen wouldn't throw up in his car. That would be very unappealing.

Arlen Twin Two

"I didn't say that it would be okay..."

"You're social skills are screwed anyway, Artie. You have no meaning of social in your body." Arlen himself wasn't exactly social either, but he was a bit better off. Leaning against the car he yawned. "Well so far my hopes are crushed. A happy home, violent spirit, maybe he's just mad he died. This case could be fairly simple." He sounded more disappointed then he meant to. He had been looking forward to a good case, but heck what could they do? He didn't like hearing people were treated wrong, not at all, but sometimes their job got just a tad boring. Most of the stories were similar, something unexpected causes a death and there is no closure. Then one feels bad they can't move on, bla bla bla. It was just a matter of how much one spirit cared for a living person. He let the back of his head hit the car window lightly as he stared up at the house. "Well, if they are coming they are late." Arlen mumbled speaking of Kaizen and Elias again. Anywhere Elias went Kaizen was sure to go. Especially if it was on a job.

As he spoke that a car pulled up and he smirked. Yep both of them were in the car. 'Great, just what I need.' He thought to himself. Now he was going to be distracted the whole time. He pulled his eyes away from the car and smiled at Artie, "I spoke too soon. Come on let's go look around, I need something interesting." Figuring these would be the last words he spoke for a while he waved and decided to make nice. "Hey guys." Okay those would most likely be the last words for a while. He was always quieter around Kaizen, and he definitely didn't talk to Elias unless he had to.

Kaizen The Manipulative One

"Did you hear that? It's the sound of me not caring."

Kaizen bolted from the car as soon as it had stopped. He hadn't spoken, opened his eyes, or done anything besides clutch the sides of his seat like it was going to fly away. As soon as the car had pulled over he hopped out in mid stop. "You did fine! I only feel half as nauseated as I usually do!" That was mostly meant to be a compliment. The twins were already there. He had heard Arlen speak, but he mostly ignored it. He gave the two a half wave still waiting for the wave to pass. Geez, vehicles didn't like his stomach one bit. "Thanks for being considerate this time." Kaizen muttered opening his eyes again. He was slowly feeling better. Then again he should have been thinking himself for not pissing Elias off before getting into his car. If he had done that then things would have gotten messy, literally. When he felt safe to move again he walked over and stood on Artie's other side. The side Arlen wasn't on. "You guys got here fast, too eager huh?" He smiled a bit flirtatiously eager to get him alone. "Elias and I have decided we are joining you on your little job today. We're hoping for something fun to happen."

Thankfully Elias had the keys. Kaien was half tempted to send Arlen away now, but he knew it was way to soon to do that. Him and Artie still had to figure out about the house. After that it was over though. "Have you guys got to looking around yet?" Another good thing Elias was for, Arlen hadn't spoken a word. He only stared and smiled with a half dazed expression. his usual look when Elias and Kaizen were together. That boy was just sad.

Artie grinned, good point, he really had no hope of being good at talking. Thankfully he had come to accept it after to long. "True, but I don't want this to end like all of the scary movies! The psychics always die after the virgin loses their virginity." He said looking at his brother, which he wondered who the virgin would be. Since... well he was a virgin still him and Kaizen hadn't gotten that far with Arlen always by his side. Maybe Elias would die first. He nearly laughed, he was really bad for thinking this over while they were about to go into a haunted house. "You never know, for all we know the guy was murdered." His mother had told him stories about murdered spirits, they were more than just angry spirits, they were considered pure hauntings and were to be feared. Seeing the car pull up, Artie's heart quickened, Kaizen did come. He smiled, trying not to let Arlen know his excitement. "Sure," He said, following his brother looking at Kaizen with a small smile. Looking awkward in his skin before he pushed his glasses up to the bridge of his nose.

"We've never been in haunted house before." He mumbled, "Who wouldn't be?" He asked looking at Kaizen while the other stood next to him. Noting that it was a bit mean on Arlen's part. But he did enjoy the feeling of the other next to him. "I don't mind," He said, looking at Elias briefly before shrugging his shoulders slightly. "No, just around the front yard." He said quietly looking at Arlen wondering how the other thought about the whole thing. He was honestly hoping that they would split up inside and he could be with Kaizen while Arlen was with Elias.

User Image

"What are you trying to say i'm not considerate?" He asked, wrapping his arm around Kaizen's neck playfully before he saw the twins. Just seeing Arlen was enough to make him feel guilt. But he smiled anyway. "I won't take no for an answer I want to see some spirit action!" He exclaimed, retracting his arm from Kaizen before standing off to the side of the twins and his best friend. "Besides, i'm the one with the key!" He practically sang before he headed up the walk way, opening the door before slipping the keys back into his pockets. Suddenly remembering his promise to Kaizen. He frowned before putting on a fake smile, looking at his employees. "Hey, I have a good idea." He practically ran back to the three before standing on Arlen's side. "We should split up! Me and Arlen can check upstairs and you two can check down stairs!" He exclaimed, pointing at Kaizen and Artie. That had to work, somehow get Arlen away from kaizen and Artie. Whom he hoped would agree easily. Though he had a feeling that Arlen would protest.

After all, Arlen seemed to follow Kaizen about, and the other twin didn't seem to like him very much due to his 'friendly' persona and overjoyed expressions.

Arlen Twin Two

"I didn't say that it would be okay..."

Arlen listened to the mild conversations that took place around him. He felt a mild twinge of jealousy when Kaizen moved to talk to Artie. He spent more time and energy on Artie then he did on anyone else. It was odd and a bit confusing, but Arlen had talked himself into denial. He figured it was because that Artie spoke more then Arlen. Looking up when Elias spoke up he shook his head. What was he trying to do? Why would he want them to go separate ways? What if he needed Artie? He felt his pulse quicken but he calmed himself. He could go upstairs without Artie. He shook his head again. Nope, he wasn't going to. He looked around the house not seeing anything out of the ordinary. Walking up the steps after Elias he sent Artie a look of warning. Meaning if he screamed he better show up.

"If they have an attack you get to check it out." Arlen muttered looking at Elias. He didn't spend much time with this man. He avoided him most of the time, Elias was too serious in Arlen's view. Then again he hardly knew him. Shaking his head he let out a sigh and went back to his vow of silence. He didn't do attics, Artie did.

Kaizen The Manipulative One

"Did you hear that? It's the sound of me not caring."

Kaizen looked at Elias gratefully. Especially when Arlen moved forward after a minute. "Well, downstairs it is! Let's start in the kitchen or maybe the living room!" He didn't move just yet, he wanted to say a proper hello to his secret boyfriend. Looking at Artie he winked. "I can't say I blame you. We were excited to get this little invitation today. Elias and Arlen seem to be hitting it off." That was more of a sarcastic reply. Arlen looked ready to kill someone. Kaizen was half surprised that he hadn't protested. He wanted to throw his arm around Artie but he bit his lip waiting, biding his time.

Artie smiled nervously at his brother, "I think that it might be a good idea." But it was already to late, Elias was taking his brother away and his pulse had quicken and he could hear it in his ears. Looking at Kaizen from the corner of his eye he felt even more awkward. "That's funny, Arlen looks like he might die any second..." He didn't know why Arlen didn't like Elias, even if the other seemed to have a problem with Artie. Which he assumed was because Artie was with Kaizen. He cleared his throat and watched his brother enter the house and head up the stairs. "I'm guessing you got Elias to separate me and my brother?" He asked, managing to look at his secret boyfriend before smiling sheepishly. "Um..." He hummed, what was he supposed to do? Should he kiss the other? He wasn't to shy when the two were intimate, but he sure as heck was awkward when he did. But, he still didn't know when it was the right time to do something. Besides, the curling feeling in his stomach screamed guilt. Or maybe just excitement.

Frowning, feeling more and more awkward before he tentatively grabbed the hem of Kaizen's shirt looking up at the other. It did seem exciting didn't it? Being secretive, not to mention two lovers going into a haunted house? It almost felt like a real movie. He suddenly hoped that he wasn't the virgin that would lose his virginity and die. Swallowed visibly his mouth twitched upwards.

Elias nearly sighed in relief, sure, things were no extremely uncomfortable. But he managed to get Arlen to join him upstairs. His breathe quickened due to the excitement from the haunted house. Elias climbing the stairs with Arlen before he looked at the other twin. "So...? See anything yet?" he asked abruptly, he didn't know if Arlen would tell him or not. He wished that he could see the dead. It was a scary thought, but since Arlen and Artie didn't seem to mind it to much, he thought that it wasn't as scary as people made it out to be. It was probably really cool, talking to those who had passed away but couldn't manage to find that 'white light'. He didn't even know where they went after they gave up. For all he knew, there could just be another human realm after death and you just relive life again. He wouldn't mind reliving this life, since it was so exciting.

However, Arlen looked less amused. More like he could die at any moment of his life. Elias trying to smile and make him seem like weird. But he doubted that it would work easily.

"I didn't say that it would be okay..."

Arlen shook his head but looked around. There didn't seem to be too much movement up here. The air was a bit chilled, there was something going on that's for sure. He turned his head quickly when a flash of movement caught his peripherals. When he finally managed to turn all the way around the flash was gone. Elias was trying to make him feel more at ease, he was failing, but it was the thought that counted right? He looked Elias over before smirking and shaking his head. Well he wasn't too bad, he just wasn't Arlen's first choice to work with. "Feel anything?" Sometimes feeling and hearing were better then seeing. Especially if a spirit didn't want to be seen right away. There was another movement and Arlen closed his eyes to try and focus more. Heck this was harder then it usually was. He was too focused on Artie to be in the game for this one. Opening his eyes again he sighed frustrated. "Hello, anyone out there? We just wanna talk to you if that's possible. We mean no harm in anyway, please show yourself." Arlen's word were met with a loud crash from the next room. Jumping slightly he sighed. So it was not a very happy spirit. Sure, that was cool and what not, but he wasn't so sure he was liking how this was going. "I can see dead people. You don't have to throw things around you know?" His words were soft, maybe a little bitter, definitely a bit scared. He was used to seeing dead people, but that didn't make it any easier.

Looking at Elias he shook his head. "He doesn't exactly want to be seen right away. I think we're best off trying to..." Honestly he didn't know. He paused for a moment and scratched his head looking around the room one last time. He was obviously in the other room, a place Arlen didn't want to venture into. "Come on, we need to move around some." This was the most he had ever said aloud to Elias. It was making him feel uncomfortable. Moving around he caught sight of the old man, sitting over a pile of books on the floor. Well, he didn't seem to scary but as soon as he caught sight of Arlen he was gone again. The mess of books sat on the floor still, quiet. He was good at making messes.

"Elias, what else did that woman say in her report? Anything about any other disturbances?" Maybe the man just didn't like visitors. Maybe the woman could avoid more problems if she just didn't have company over. Arlen and Artie never had company it wasn't that bad sitting alone. He chuckled and shook his head. He was never alone. He had Artie.

Kaizen The Manipulative One

"Did you hear that? It's the sound of me not caring."

The two disappeared inside and Artie moved towards Kaizen. He loved the feeling of Artie being so close. It made his heart race and the butterflies flew in his stomach. "Of course I brought him along just for that." He was just glad the man had agreed. "I think he has some guilt issues about it...I'll have to treat him to drinks later for it." Springing an idea he looked at Artie wickedly, "You could come too, and maybe bring Arlen along. Then Elias and him can get better acquainted." It was a brilliant idea, not really, but he liked the sounds of it. Looking down at Artie he pulled him in and met his mouth quickly. He tasted sweet, almost like mint. He always tasted like mint. It was odd. Pulling away slowly he nuzzled Artie's cheek. "Now that's the hello I want to give you everyday."

He beckoned towards the house slightly, "We should go in before Arlen kills Elias....or vice versa....I'm going with the second one. I think Elias would win." Only for the fact that Arlen couldn't say two words in front of Elias. Or he never had at least. Wrapping his arms around Artie he smiled content. "Can't we just tell him, Artie? How badly could he really react?" Shrugging he didn't see the big deal. Of course not he was raised as a single child past the age of eight. He looked back at the house and kept his hold on Artie. "Alright, never mind." He didn't need to wreck anyone's life right now. "I can wait on your time." He smirked and swayed a little before letting go.

Artie knew that it was probably going to be rough on Elias, after all, they were asking a lot of him. However, the idea of going out drinking with Kaizen and Elias sounded fun. Especially Kaizen's push to have for his brother to be closer to Elias. "T-That's, I doubt Arlen would go for something like that." He said quietly, his mouth suddenly covered. "Mn," Artie's eyes fluttered, his hand holding onto the front of Kaizen's shirt before the two parted. The older twin licking his lips, "Agreed," He replied before releasing Kaizen, looking at the house. "You might be right, but don't worry, my brother can hold up easily. And Elias seems way to nice to even think about killing my brother." But the spirit on the other hand was probably way different, either way, it was best to go inside the house. Taking a step towards the house, an arm wrapped around Artie. Stopping the twin. His stomach knotting, "He's my brother. I couldn't possibly hurt him like that." he mumbled softly before Kaizen thankfully dropped it. He just... he wanted to see if Arlen's crush would blow over. Then maybe he could slip by his brother's rage if he told him. "Come on, you move to slow." Grabbing Kaizen's hand he walked ahead of the blond. Heading in the direction of the living room.

Looking around he didn't catch anything that seemed out of the ordinary. "Hello?" He called, hearing a thump from upstairs. The spirit was upstairs probably. "I think he's upstairs." he said looking at Kaizen. He didn't feel anything else. He got a shiver every once and a while and he didn't feel anything other than that. Looking up at the ceiling, Artsie hummed. "Yup, he's upstairs alright." He felt the need to go be by Arlen's side. But he didn't want to go back to being Kaizen's co-worker. They had only shared one kiss! He couldn't survive on something like that!

Elias shrugged, it was a little chilly, "Nothing really, feels... weird. Like creepy maybe." He said, shrugging again, he didn't really know what fear was so he couldn't really tell if he was afraid or not. Looking about while Arlen spoke to the 'spirit' he wondered if this was a joke or really real. The woman seemed sincere but that would stop anyone from lying about a 'spirit' in their home. And suddenly, Elias jumped a loud crash came from the other room and Elias swallowed. "Wow, that was... interesting." He stated bluntly, suddenly wishing that he wasn't such a good friend and he had forced Arlen to stay with kaizen and Artie. However, he would make due following Arlen around. Looking about everywhere, even though he doubted, no he knew that he wouldn't see anything.

"Whatever you say boss," Which was a misunderstanding, seeing as Elias was the boss in the branch. But when it came to all this stuff he had no idea how to understand he figured that he could just leave it to Arlen to comprehend. Sliding his hands into his pockets he looked at the set of walls. Carefully, such a clean house. Old guy must have taken food care of it. "Well... she said that one of the movers had been moving the mattress and he fell down the stairs. Broke something and I think he got a head injury? He said someone tripped him but it was only him and one other person up her when it happened." He tried to keep himself from thinking of the thought. Him and Arlen were the only two people up here. He nearly felt sick to his stomach, he wouldn't know what to do if one of them was sent down the stairs. Feel guilty if it was Arlen of course. Since he had been the one to suggest that they could upstairs while the others went down.

Arlen Twin Two

"I didn't say that it would be okay..."

Arlen smiled lightly at Elias. Well he didn't seem as freaked out as Arlen did that was for sure. Most spirits showed themselves after he announced he could see them. The man was in the house but reluctant to speak with anyone. It seemed the one thing he was good at was making messes and scaring the hell out of people. Nodding slightly at the explanation Arlen cleared his throat. He heard Artie downstairs. That was a little reassuring. "Come on out, sir. I really mean no harm, I just want to talk a little bit. I'm no priest, pastor, or any other religious figure. Just a psychic." There was a silence before he heard a voice. The words impossible to make out, but for some reason it made him stand on edge. "Heh I'm not so sure our friend wants us here honestly. He seems....cold." Turning towards Elias he shook his head. No, he didn't want to be up here anymore he wanted to go back downstairs. This wasn't the type of spirit Arlen was used to. "Go away." The two words made Arlen shiver. "Elias, I...I honestly don't think we should stay up here." He was thinking one of them was going to end up with a broken neck. As if on cue a vase flew across the room making Arlen duck. It shattered against the far wall letting him catch a glimpse of the man again. He looked angry, pissed off was more like it. He was a tiny, little old man though. Dang did he had incredible strength.

"Hey we're trying to help you! The least you can do is cooperate a little bit! I swear I'm not that bad of a guy!" Arlen was snappish, a bit louder then he intended, but his words rang true. Though the only thing his words got him was the middle finger and then the man was gone again. Right through the wall. "Make my life easier and go bother someone else then." Arlen hissed. "My brother is downstairs go through the floor and drop onto the next level." Of course his words were purely out of anger. He didn't mean them, but when he earned himself a hard silence he wondered if the spirit really had left.

Looking at the shattered vase and the book pile on the floor he shivered again. He didn't like this old man anymore. "I wonder if he was this unpleasant when he was alive?" He looked at Elias innocently. "Are you okay?"

Kaizen The Manipulative One

"Did you hear that? It's the sound of me not caring."

Kaizen looked around the house only mildly entertained. There wasn't much to look at except for a well kept house. When he heard a thump upstairs he looked at the ceiling. "What the heck are they doing up there?" He mused still holding onto Artie's hand. "Maybe the spirit found them." That was more of a statement and less of a question. Especially after the sound of shattering glass. It didn't sound like Arlen was getting much done up there. "Are you by any chance the more...competent one?" From the sounds of it Arlen was only getting frustrated. Did that mean they were losing? Smirking at Artie he winked, "That just means we get more alone time, huh?" Until trouble came looking for the that is. As soon as that happened they would be in the same boat as Arlen and Elias. Thinking about it he furrowed his brow. Hopefully Elias would do okay up there. That spirit didn't sound too pleasant. Shrugging it off he looked at Artie again. "I could kiss you again. Would that be okay?" He wasn't entirely sure why he was asking now, but it only seemed right.

They were in someone else's house after all. For some reason he just didn't feel right without some type of permission from the other party. They could wait for trouble to find them. If they waited then they needn't worry about Arlen or Elias. Well more Arlen then Elias. "I think it's sweet you're trying to protect your brother, but what if he doesn't need all this protection? You might be over thinking it." Just a mild suggestion, Kaizen wasn't entirely sure how much Arlen liked him. They hadn't ever communicated much outside of work. It couldn't be that big of a crush. He sidled over to Artie's side, in what he thought was a subtle, way and set his chin on the man's shoulder. "I just can't wait for the night I get to stay the night with you." Oh boy was he looking forward to that.

A sleep over what would be more exciting. There was a few more noises from upstairs but when no one screamed or shouted the word dead he was fine. He looked Artie over from his side view and wondered how those two would handle being apart. Heck they still lived together. Would Kaizen ever fully get Artie to himself? God he hoped so one day.

Artie shrugged, "Probably, unless we find out Elias is some devious pervert." He stated with a snicker, like that would happen, Arlen wouldn't let anyone take advantage of him like that. And Artie wouldn't exactly allow it to happen either. Looking at the other, Artie's face flushed a light pink, "I wouldn't say that. Spirits just tend to talk to me more..." That was because he wasn't awkward with them. He heard the shattering glass and almost wanted to run up and see what happened. But Artie just bit his lip, listening to Kaizen while he talked. Right, they were alone right now. The thought was nice, and he squeezed Kaizen's hand to confirm his belief that they really were alone. "I couldn't object," He replied lightly, laughing lightly, not wanting to intrigue Arlen or anything. The twin toying with his glasses before pushing them up again. His nose crinkling at the thought of him telling Arlen about their relationship. "He's my little brother, it wouldn't be right to do that to him." He mumbled before he left his glasses be.

Artie chewed his lip, his head turning slightly to look at the blond hair. "Me either," Maybe if Elias could... a chill ran down his spine. Jerking his head in the other direction, he met the face of the old man. "Ah!" He jumped back, the old man scoffing before he reached and snatched his glasses from his face. Throwing them to the ground. "H-Hey!" He said, his vision instantly blurry. He was far sighted, he couldn't see anything unless it was across the room. "That... was terrible." He stated, the old man disappearing into the floor boards before he knocked over a few pictures. Artie blinking in fast succession. He still couldn't see a damn thing. Looking at Kaizen, he tried to blink away the blurry image. "I think our spirit got tired of Arlen..." He said, looking about before he spotted his glasses, Artie releasing his brother's hand to pick them up and slip them back on. "Hey, one of your relatives sent us. They seemed pretty upset." He honestly didn't know how the client reacted to the old man's death.

However, Artie looked about, where did the old man go now? He couldn't see him either way. He looked at Kaizen.

Elias continued to look about for the spirit, despite his mind already knowing that he would be unable to see it. However, the way Arlen was talking it seemed like the spirit wasn't in the mood for a conversation. "I agree," He was starting to feel a weird creep on his back, a chill. Like it was getting colder by the minute. Turning to look at Arlen Elias saw the vase, "Holy--" He ducked as well, watching the vase crash and hit the wall. "Oh... s**t." He confessed his curse looking at the broken pieces. That was real, that had to be real. He swallowed dryly and looked at Arlen, screw being a best friend, he wouldn't be able to get anything from Kaizen for his bad deed if the spirit killed him! "Jeez! I don't think reasoning will work with this guy!" He said, to be honest, if he didn't know what fear was, he did now. Still ducking slightly, Elias straightened, swallowed again while he searched wildly for the 'spirit' that he could not see. "Right... send him to Kaizen and Artie." He wondered how mad the old guy would be if he found two guys making out in his old kitchen. It sounded totally unappealing to him at least. Or maybe it was because he didn't have the need to see his best friend sucking face with someone.

"He sure as heck seems like it. The woman who came to me looked like she had been crying for days over the guy." But that didn't mean he was pleasant or not. For all he knew the old guy was some crotchety a*****e with a God complex. Elias looked at Arlen again, "Yeah, scared to death, but I think i'll be okay." He knew that it was probably a better idea to head down stairs, then have the chance of being killed up here. At least down there they had a better chance at running away. However, he couldn't just head down there with Arlen without warning Artie and Kaizen.

Arlen Twin Two

"I didn't say that it would be okay..."

Well Elias and him were both okay for the time being. He heard Artie downstairs and winced. He hadn't meant it. He didn't want his brother to be tortured. "I think it' best if Artie and I are together on this one." Arlen wasn't entirely sure he could do this one by himself. He didn't mind Elias but honestly he wasn't much help. How could he be though? Scared to death? An interesting way to explain it. That was funny. Arlen couldn't help but to crack a smile. "Death huh? Well then maybe you can reason with the old coot." Shaking his head he had to stop his hands from shaking. This was a new situation even for him. "He was well cared for then. I do not understand why he is so mad." Not to mention the man wouldn't even talk to him. How was he supposed to figure something out if he had no one talking to him? Furrowing his brow he looked around for anything helpful. They literally knew nothing about this grumpy old man. Going through the shelves and stories Arlen looked around interested. What little they could find out would be helpful. "Elias, start rummaging. Try to gather what you can about our spirit. I need to know more before I delve into this."

He would like to try something without Artie for once. He felt like he depended too much on his twin. He hated the feeling, but then again Artie was all he had ever known. He looked through the pile of books before picking up a family photograph book. The old man was rarely seen in any of those pictures. He tossed the book on a bed and bent to pick something else up before the book was hurled back at him. It struck him in the back causing him to yell out. This man was doing a good job at going back and forth. "I say we leave him to rot in this god forsake house." He rubbed the welt on his back sighing. Picking the book back up he shot a look at the man. "You are not being very helpful." He was gone before he had finished his sentence.

Looking at Elias Arlen tucked close to his side. Not close enough to touch but almost. "I hate this guy." He wasn't about to be taken again. That thought to go downstairs hit him once again. Him and Artie would be doing great if they were together. He needed to try and depend on Elias too though right? They did work together after all.

Kaizen The Manipulative One

"Did you hear that? It's the sound of me not caring."

Kaizen looked up as Artie was relieved of his glasses. This guy was testy wasn't he? "I'm thinking he doesn't appreciate our work." He pulled Artie closer to him and looked around, "Well what do you want to do then?" He wasn't sure about this situation. He couldn't protect Artie from someone already dead. "Just tell me what to do." He mused smirking. He held onto Artie's hand protectively. It was a lot colder now and the whole ordeal had made him a little more jumpy. Every noise made him look around his shoulder as if something were coming for him or Artie. The house seemed a lot creepier then it originally had. He moved forward to look around but he didn't go very far. The halls were well lit, the kitchen was quiet. Darn it, he hated this silence. "Artie, do something. Or say something." Geez, Kaizen wasn't loud or quiet, but this was impossible. Being in a eerie house all alone. Chuckling he turned forward and planted another kiss on Artie's lips. He was tired of all this waiting, he needed something to do. Something fun. Exciting. Pulling away he smirked and met Artie's eyes with his own. He was more delightful then anything else in this town.

Artie laughed, "I think so too, this guy seems really pissed off." He said, examining his glasses for any scratches. "I guess I can keep trying to talk to him..." He trailed off, there wasn't really anything Kaizen could do, but it was obvious that the silence was getting to him. A bad timing for Artie to be well... Artie. "What do I--" Kaizen kissed Artie on the lips, cutting the awkward man off before parting quickly. Artie returned the grin with another kiss, the awkward twin cupping Kaizen's cheek to bring them closer. He was used to spirits messing around with him, after all, he had a naked spirit man in his bed that morning(something he didn't want Kaizen to know about). So the eerie home didn't scare him to much. But he was cold now, shivering against Kaizen before he heard something crash upstairs. He was hoping that Arlen was okay, his instincts telling him to stay by his brother's side. But Kaizen was making more and more of a point. Maybe it was time for the twins to part. It made his stomach hurt however, he loved his brother to much.

Parting from Kaizen, Artie pressed a kiss to Kaizen's jaw before smiling. "Was that what you... meant?" He cursed how awkward he obviously was and was anxious to know what Kaizen thought of his kiss. And if that was what he meant by Artie doing something. "B-besides, don't worry about the spirit! I don't think he'll do anything to bad. So far he's just throwing a tantrum." He heard something crash in the kitchen and he jumped, "Yes, I did say you were having a tantrum! You're acting like you're five!" He shouted towards the kitchen something else crashing before the old man peeked his head out, showing his middle finger to Artie before calling him a terribly inappropriate word. Artie's face flushed, "Wow, I thought old people were supposed to think words like that were like sins or something." He said, knowing very well that Kaizen wouldn't know what he was talking about.

Elias chuckled, "Yeah maybe, but I like to think I have a lot more things i'd like to finish before dying off." He confessed, like sending his newest client her promised group list. Not to mention the piles of word he still had left. Such as life, when a work-a-holic who is ironically an alcoholic only finds reason to live through work. "Well... she could be lying." He spoke softly, he never believed clients fully. It was never their choice to tell the truth all the way or not. Like when a brother 'died' it would really be a friend that had passed and the person is to embarrassed to admit their true grievances. Nodding on Arlen's command, Elias searched the room, opening the closet before shifting through some old boxes. Opening a few, only finding old newspapers and some old junk. "I wonder if this guy was ever married." He stated to himself before hearing a 'thump' turning to see a book on the floor. "Well, that would give us a bad reputation. Besides, won't it be worth it when he goes on?" He had seen how happy Artie would get, he wasn't sure about Arlen however.

"Maybe he is being helpful." Standing up, Arlen came close to the other. Elias containing any snickering noise. Well the old man had only been targeting Arlen. He didn't blame the other for getting frightened. Bending down he picked up the photo album. He flipped through the pages. "Weird that he's not in here. Maybe one or two pictures. Maybe he wasn't really involved in his family." He said to himself mostly and partly to Arlen. "Maybe he's just... lonely or something weird." He said looking at Arlen, "I mean... if he isn't in family photos, maybe they didn't even invite him to take them or... I don't know." He laughed, "I'm not a detective."
