"That makes perfect sense...is what I'd like to say, but I honestly have no idea what you're talking about." When all Hare did was scoff, London did his best to offer the blond a sympathetic smile before good naturedly swatting at his navigator with a hand, a mischevious grin briefly lighting up his features. "...I can tell I won't be very fond of them...nor this 'queen'..." London's pleasant expression dropped rahter quickly at the mention of his sister; true, none of his crew knew about his relation to the Black Queen but it didn't change the fact that it was still his older sister, who hadn't always been crazy. "I'm Raven Voltaire. Rave is fine. I'm actually...not...really from around here"

"Did you hear, Cap'n?" Dormire chimed in rather sleepilly, yawning and stretching his arms up over his head; one of these days London was really going to need to take a look at his obvious narcolepsy. "Bird boy says he's not from around here, can you imagine? Someone who doesn't even know what kind of ship he's on, not from Londerland; such a suprise really." Yes, well....for the most part the twenty three year old chose to ignore his first mate; he was just going to fall asleep again anyway, and it wasn't like his sarcasm was helping any right now.

"I have no idea how I got here, but I really should be getting back..." Arching a brow as Raven tried to get a look at the map, London allowed himself an inward chuckle; if he didn't know where he was, then how was a map of Londerland going to help him? Not to mention that the paper had been drawn all over by Hare in a way that it hardly made sense to anyone on the ship save for the navigator, which was perfectly fine with the rest of the crew. "...Once I find how to do just that."

"Sorry to say but I can't much help you there," The older man confessed in a rather unbothered manner, reaching a half gloved hand out to give the spokes of a rather well polished, out of place and patchwork looking wheel easilly twice the size of his body a gentle tilt. "But we'll be making a stop at Needle Point Island for a supply pick up, so perhaps it's proprieter can help you with gathering your surroundings; the Baron has always been quite clever...even if he seasons his food beyond consumption." With that being said, London turned his gaze back to the expansie stretch of undisturbed sky before him, and resumed his position at the helm without saying so much as a word for the rest of the trip; when they did finally dock, the purple eyed male allowed a sigh of relief to pass his lips. "Welcome back to Needle Point, boys. Dormire, dock the ship for me; Hare, make sure he actually does as told. The rest of you, go find the pickup point; I'll take our guest to the Baron." So saying, London quickly adjusted his favorite striped hat atop his head and smoothly stepped off the floating ship, feet digging back into the grass and earth that wound up towards the Baron's ridiculously high fortress home; had his guest been a woman he would have offered a hand, but if Raven was going to be in Londerland for a while then he'd have to get used to it. "Hopefully the Baron's in and not out doing whatever he always seems to be doing.." Oherwise London wasn't quite sure what he was going to do with Raven aboard his ship once they set sail again.

Raven wasn't sure what to think of the small, white-haired male who had a tendency to wake up and sleep at the strangest moments. "Did you hear, Cap'n? Bird boy says he's not from around here, can you imagine? Someone who doesn't even know what kind of ship he's on, not from Londerland; such a suprise really." "Isn't he a lovely little ray of sunshine..." Raven mused, brows furrowed unconsciously as he tried to make sense of the strange looking map; and not making any sense of it at all.

"Sorry to say but I can't much help you there." Well at least London seemed tolerable. "But we'll be making a stop at Needle Point Island for a supply pick up, so perhaps it's proprieter can help you with gathering your surroundings; the Baron has always been quite clever...even if he seasons his food beyond consumption." A Baron...Raven was starting to put the pieces together. There had been a Duchess in Wonderland...perhaps Londerland was something like a parallel world to it, only...up higher? It made quite a bit of sense in a place where something like sense didn't seem to exist.

Raven was quietly compliant through the trip, occasionally glancing around and surveying his surroundings which was nothing but wood and sky. But it was a refreshing change from stuffy mansions and dusty roads and endless, endless fields, fenced in with trees. He seemed to have accepted the fact that, yes, he was, in fact, within a place that should have not been real.

"Welcome back to Needle Point, boys."

London's words roused Raven from his thoughts. Had they...well...'docked'? "Dormire, dock the ship for me; Hare, make sure he actually does as told. The rest of you, go find the pickup point; I'll take our guest to the Baron." Guest...ah, that was probably him. Raven quickly scrambled off The Alice after London. London was quite a bit taller than him, and he had to walk quickly to catch up.

The Fortress was intimidating, like some sort of Middle Age castle. And as soon as they stepped through the large gates, Raven had to wrinkle his nose. It smelled like someone was making soup...and had put in too much of everything. He wanted to ask if this was safe or not, but then again anywhere had to be safer than out there...where the Card Soldiers and the Queen were.

"Ah, if it isn't the mad Captain Finley~ Back so soon? I was almost certain I saw you off not a day ago...or was it the day before? Run into a bit of trouble have we?"

Not even five steps into the walls of the fortress and a smooth purr glided from somewhere around them, and then a...person...materialized ahead of them, leaning on one of the stone pillars lazily...in an almost...feline fashion. Coal-furred cat ears twitched on top of a platinum blonde hair and a sharp-canine-grin graced the speaker's lips, his tail curling and uncurling in glee. Raven tilted his head curiously at the glittering, molten gold eyes that suddenly swiveled to survey him. "A guest?" Chess purred curiously, sauntering over and bending a little to look at Raven in the eye; the teal-eyed human blinked back, more confused than intimidated. "Oh he's a cutie~ Not everyone can keep my stare for long~ I'm Chess, insanely delighted to meet you~!" Chess looked pleased with something Raven wasn't sure he did; an inside joke possibly. "I'm...Raven. Nice to meet you too...?" "Gonna keep him? If not, could I~?" Chess de-materialized and reformed behind Raven, draping his arms over the shorter male. "He looks like he'll be fun to play with~" Raven wasn't sure or not if he liked the way the taller blonde spoke as if he wasn't there, even though there was a certain predatory possessiveness already in the way he kept his arms firmly pressing down on Raven's shoulders. "I don't want to seem rude, but I really have to get going...I really don't have the time-"

"Oh no, you innocent thing, it's White who has all the time. It's the reason why not all of us have enough~! Him and that dreadfully un-ticking pocket watch of his." Chess patted Raven on the head as if he was a child, and returned his attention to London. "Baron's in the kitchen, the source of that most delectable smell, as usual~ Shall I accompany you? I think I'm started to grow attached to this new face and refreshing conversation~!" Raven blinked, even more confused. But he had hardly said anything yet...

"Ah, if it isn't the mad Captain Finley~ Back so soon? I was almost certain I saw you off not a day ago...or was it the day before? Run into a bit of trouble have we?" The first time London had needed to dock at Needle Point, the platinum blond's tendancy to appear from seemingly nowhere with twitching ears and a wide, sharp smile had been incredibly concerning; these days it was no different an occurance then Dormire falling asleep every two minutes, even though it was still mildly irritating. "A guest? Oh, he's a cutie~ Not everyone can keep my stare for long~ I'm Chess, insanely delighted to meet you~!"

"I'm...Raven. Nice to meet you too...?" When the slinky cat-man rematerialized behind his guest and proceeded to drape himself all over Raven, London could only sigh and roll his eyes, tilting his hat down; just like Chess to get all handsy with anything on two legs, though he seemed to have a preference for shorter men like Dormire, and apparently Raven as well.

"Gonna keep him? If not, could I? He looks like he'll be fun to play with~" Thankfully the smaller blond seemed to have enough sense to not get swept up in whirliwind of oddities that was Chess...but the Cheshire seemed far too amused to let it go that easilly. "Oh no, you innocent thing, it's White who has all the time. It's the reason why not all of us have enough~! Him and that dreadfully un-ticking pocket watch of his." London couldn't help but to nod at that statement; he and White had never gotten along very well. "Baron's in the kitchen, the source of that most delectable smell, as usual~ Shall I accompany you? I think I'm started to grow attached to this new face and refreshing conversation~!"

"He's not staying, Chess." London responded quietly before gently but firmly guiding his guest farther into the fortress, seemingly unbothered though the look in his eyes, a sort of imploring glare teetering on the edge of sanity, told a different story; fact was that there were things to be done, and it was only when put behind schedule that the captain became....annoyed. "So don't get too attatched. If you really must bother someone, perhaps you can keep Dormire awake long enough for him to supervise the supply loading." Though Chess posessed the tendancy to sidle up with any attractive person, he'd always seemed to take preference in spending time with his white haired first mate the most, and even though Dormire was obviously narcoleptic being around the Cheshire tended to keep him awake for longer periods of time. So saying London proceeded to head further into the fortress, fighting every urge to pinch his nose shut at the sheer magnitude of the smells seeping out from the kitchen; more then likely the long haired man currently embroiled in stirring what appeared to be a large pot of soup would end up offering him a meal and he would politely have to accept and pretend he didn't mind all the excess seasoning. "Afternoon Baron; postively maddening day, isn't it? I've a few questions for you; perhaps you have some information about our sudden stowaway." Taking a seat and tossing his head in Raven's general direction, London was careful not to prop his feet up on the table; last time he'd done that hadn't ended well. "Dormire seems to think him a Spy of the Queen."

Raven could feel the disappointment oozing from Chess at London's brisk, but quiet "He's not staying, Chess." Raven glanced up at London, only to catch a glimpse of annoyance flicker through the airship captain's eyes. "So don't get too attatched. If you really must bother someone, perhaps you can keep Dormire awake long enough for him to supervise the supply loading." Chess seemed to perk up immediately and bowed in a deep, exaggerated way, before de-materializing before their very eyes, until only his grin was left; and then that too was gone within a nanosecond.

How could he miss the chance to see his most favorite person in the world (other than the Baron)?

The revolting smell grew nastier as the two of them went nearer to the source, until Raven almost had to clasp his hands over his nose. How did Chess stand the smell? "Afternoon Baron; postively maddening day, isn't it?" Behind the pot of soup (which was supposed to be pig snout, but with the lack of pig snout hunting as of late, who knew what the Baron had replaced it with?) was a tall, crimson-haired male, who was looking between the pot and a cook-book, but he was hardly following its' directions. "Ellis~! Delightfully distracting to see you again so soon; though I hope Amoretta isn't giving you too much trouble that you had to return." Raven kept quiet, noting that he should probably ask who Amoretta was later on, but not at the moment. The Baron didn't seem to have noticed Raven just yet, a purple cloud of smoke from the pot obscuring his vision.

"I've a few questions for you; perhaps you have some information about our sudden stowaway."

                                "Stowaway?"

A long-fingered hand waved away the smoke and the Baron's face was suddenly visible through the cloud as he peered down at Raven. "...Well, he looks harmless enough...Then again, take away his uniform and even the Nettersnitch would look harmless enough." Baron hummed, looking like he wasn't really giving the young blonde much thought but he really was. "Dormire seems to think him a Spy of the Queen." A bark of laughter floated from the cloud that once again hid the Baron from view. "Ha! Your first mate distrusts anything that walks on two hind legs or more, Ellis." The Baron had to wave the smoke away from his face once more, surveying the silent Raven with a thoughtful eye.

"Now. Where did you say you were from again?"

Raven blinked as he was addressed. "I didn't." He pointed out wryly. "I don't suppose you've ever heard of it though, even if I did tell you." "Most likely, but indulge an old Londerian's curiousity." Raven shrugged, figuring it couldn't hurt. "I'm from England." Baron's eyebrows rose. "...Curiously maddening...Alice Liddel's Earth?" He mused, his voice nearly lost within the bubbling of the stew, but Raven heard it anyways. "You know it!" He demanded more than asked. The Baron merely let the smoke obscure him again, and suddenly Raven had turned from passive into active. "You know how I can get back!" There was a contemplative silence before the Baron answered. "Not quite." Raven wilted. "Oh."

"To be honest, what you are looking for would be in Wonderland, but I doubt that any living being in their wrong mind would drop anywhere closer than the lowest cloud in the Wonderland atmosphere, and even then you'd snap your pretty little neck if you try to jump." The Baron hummed. "I'd suggest you take a look at what Londerland's books might have to offer...They might point you to a way out; though consulting the spiders are always the best way." Raven had no idea what any of that meant. "Hmmm...Fox?" From seemingly out of nowhere a red-haired male appeared, blood-stained fox-ears twitching on his head, a blank expression on his features. "Escort our guest to the library could you? The captain and I are going to have a little chat~" Raven glanced over his shoulder at London as Fox took him by the forearm and half led, half dragged him out, shutting the door behind him.

Raven looked slightly troubled as he was led away. He didn't even get to say thank you to the captain...

"Ellis~! Delightfully distracting to see you again so soon; though I hope Amoretta isn't giving you too much trouble that you had to return." London's reaction was almost immediate; any pleasant airs or friendly smiles he might have been willing to offer dissapated in a matter of seconds, replaced by a deep set frown and an expression that could only be described as regret. How exactly the Baron had come to find out about his older sister and the details of the relationship between the two was something he still didn't know, but that didn't change the fact that London didn't enjoy it being brought up. "...Well, he looks harmless enough...Then again, take away his uniform and even the Nettersnitch would look harmless enough." Snorting at the thought of calling the Nettersnitch harmless, the older man settled down more comfortably in his rickety seat; reminded him of the chairs he'd had back home in Wonderland, where his mother had insisted they have tea every afternoon at the top of the hour. "Ha! Your first mate distrusts anything that walks on two hind legs or more, Ellis." True enough.

"I'm more suprised he'd be awake long enough to involve himself in suspicion." The airship captain chuckled, idly playing with the tip of a seasoning shaker; it was probably pepper with his luck, but at least it gave him something to keep occupied with. Following that, London was more then happy to keep quiet and let the Baron talk; best not to interrupt when involving circumstances he knew nothing of. From what he was able to gather the blond came from somewhere known as England, the same location it was rumored Alice Lidell had called home inbetween her frequent trips to Wonderland; that in itself explained a lot, including but not limited the fact that Raven was going to be as helpless as an infant deer during his stay. Unfortunately it didn't appear that the Baron knew how to send his new guest home without traveling down to Wonderland, and the long haired male was right to assume the dangers of doing so; no man, woman or child had set foot under Londerland in years, and London wasn't about to be the first.

"I'd suggest you take a look at what Londerland's books might have to offer...They might point you to a way out; though consulting the spiders are always the best way. Hmmm...Fox? Escort our guest to the library could you? The captain and I are going to have a little chat~" Wrinkling his nose, the best London found himself able to do when Raven glanced over his shoulder at him was to offer a slight smile, just the barest crook of the lips, and wave him off in a somewhat encouraging manner; despite the Baron's eccentric ways and the even stranger company he tended to keep, there was no danger to be had in his fortress. In fact, it was probably the safest place for Raven to be right now. Only once the pair had left the kitchen and were out of earshot did London sigh heavilly and begin to pick at some loose threads on his sleeve.

"You should know better then to bring up Amoretta, Baron." He started with, tone severe and less then amused. "It doesn't do to have curious children rubbing their noses where they don't belong." Raven would surely ask about her now, and she wasn't a topic he liked dealing with. But aside from that... "What do you know that you wouldn't tell our guest?" London had learned a long time ago that some things were better off discussed in private...to be honest, he much preferred them that way.

"Dormire! Dormire, for the love of unbirthday, wake up!" The first thing the white haired first mate took notice of upon coming back to the world of the awake and active was the feeling of a light pressure upon his face; after finally opening his eyes he found that the ship's navigator Hare was to blame by slapping his cheeks with a firm, no nonsense expression. "Cap'n told you to supervise the supply loading after you docked Alice; that doesn't mean you can go back to sleep!"

"Oh, come off it Hare," The smaller man responded, stretching his arms up over his head with a wrinkle of his nose. "I was just resting my eyes is all.."

"Yeah, sure," The taller, rabbit eared navigator rolled his eyes, hauling up the first mate up by the arm before dusting himself off and walking away to take care of other chores required before the ship took off again. "Lazy, good for nothing..."

Baron's expression had turned from pleasantly mild to downright serious as soon as the door had shut. "You should know better then to bring up Amoretta, Baron. It doesn't do to have curious children rubbing their noses where they don't belong." "It's maddeningly unfortunate, but this child's nose will be everywhere before all this is over, even if you don't want it to be." Baron muttered. "What do you know that you wouldn't tell our guest?" "It's regarding both your safety and the fate of that child." A glint of some unknown, disturbing emotions crossed the Baron's eyes for a brief second, but he would brush it off as reflected light from the soup. "Your luck may yet run out; White is not the only one aboard his ship tonight...the lovely Queen has partnered him with the Snitch to find you. Therefore I advise you; if you see White or any of his main ships, please do remember that fleeing can be practically strategical and not always cowardly."

The Baron stepped from behind his soup, letting it simmer for a while. "And that child, Raven...Do keep a close eye on him, if you're going to let him stay." If he wasn't, he knew Cheshire would be more than happy to take care of him. "The last time Earth's child wandered into our mad little world, she caused such mayhem and ruckus and now look at the state of Wonderland because of her insecurities and Earthly troubles." Baron sighed. "Though I highly doubt that anything like that would happen to Londerland, it's a different, and possibly not very enjoyable, story if your sister were to get her hands on him. His imagination is a powerful tool, Ellis; but he also does not belong. Though I am tempted to let him stay, he is a double-edged blade. Best be on your toes; when you're not on edge, you're taking up too much space after all~" With those words of wisdom, the Baron waved his hand to shoo London out of the kitchen. "Now off you go. Since I know that there's nothing else for you to do at the moment, you can drop Raven off with the spiders. Madness knows that there's nothing useful in my library that would be of any help; I just sent him off so we could talk."

                                =-=

                                "Lazy, good for nothing..."

Behind Dormire, Chess would materialize, and he draped his arms over the smaller, white-haired male's shoulders, nuzzling his ear gently. Unlike earlier with Raven, the action seemed much more meaningful now that he was doing it to London's first mate. "Dormire~" He purred, tail curling up in delight at seeing the white-haired male once more. "Not slacking off again are we~? You've got poor Hare's ears all tied up in knots~" Chess was a very touchy-feely kind of person, and he quite enjoyed the feeling of how perfectly Dormire fitted against him because of his height.

"I've. Missed. You~!" From draping his arms across Dormire's shoulders, it turned into a tight hug from behind as Chess twirled the shorter male around with a pleased, happy expression on his face.

                                =-=

None of the Ribelli would know it, but currently, while they were blissfully unaware, White and the Nettersnitch were aboard The Beheader, White's main airship, hunting for London from the skies near Needle Point Isles. His eyes were blank and expressionless behind his rose-lens goggles, though no one could've seen his eyes anyway, as he stood at the stern, overlooking the Isles for any sign of movement. He had long suspected the Baron of hiding the Queen's sister, and yet he could never prove it. But since his naval fleet that had come to survey the Isles hadn't returned, he had his suspicions.

He would've been completely fine on his own, but Amoretta had more or less threatened to thrown him off of Londerland if he hadn't taken the Nettersnitch with him.

White sighed, his snow-colored rabbit ears folding back neatly over his head, arms crossed under his chest. Today was going to be a long day indeed...

                                ||OoC: Hurhurhur, maybe 8'D I feel like I'm going to enjoy playing all the minor characters immensely xDD Chess is just...just...so adorable. <3 I just kind of stuck random characters in here and no post for Raven XDDD

I think White and Snitch should have a kind of S&M relationship for some odd reason o.o XDD

It sounds interesting=O It gives a kind of... Alice Human Sacrifice kind of air xD ||

--------------------------------------------------------------------

"It's maddeningly unfortunate, but this child's nose will be everywhere before all this is over, even if you don't want it to be." Tch'ing, London folded his arms over his chest and pointedly returned his attention to the peppershaker in front of him; be that as it might have been, the relationship he had with Amoretta was heavilly regarded as a secret and tabboo to speak of, and he liked keeping it that way. "It's regarding both your safety and the fate of that child. Your luck may yet run out; White is not the only one aboard his ship tonight...the lovely Queen has partnered him with the Snitch to find you." Well, s**t; it just figured that in addition to White he now had to deal with the Snitch. Obviously his sister was beginning to get quite desperate...or impatient. Possibly both at the same time. "Therefore I advise you; if you see White or any of his main ships, please do remember that fleeing can be practically strategical and not always cowardly."

"I never was one for stragey.." London noted off hand with an almost manic smile; the whole purpose of his piloting an airship had been, from the very beggining, to do what he wanted, to achieve a sense of freedom away from his sister's constant and oftentimes disturbing watchful gaze.

"And that child, Raven...Do keep a close eye on him, if you're going to let him stay." To be honest, that was something London hadn't decided yet; surely he would have been safer in the Baron's care, even though it also meant he would need to deal with Chess. Being aboard the ship of someone as flighty and overly adventerous as the twenty three year old was....even London knew how much of a risk it was. The last time Earth's child wandered into our mad little world, she caused such mayhem and ruckus and now look at the state of Wonderland because of her insecurities and Earthly troubles." Baron sighed. Best be on your toes; when you're not on edge, you're taking up too much space after all~" Arching a brow as the Baron shooed him out of the kitchen with a flap of the hands, London allowed himself a quiet sigh before standing up and straightening out. "Now off you go. Since I know that there's nothing else for you to do at the moment, you can drop Raven off with the spiders. Madness knows that there's nothing useful in my library that would be of any help; I just sent him off so we could talk." Clever Baron, as always.

"Sometimes I wonder if you know more then your head can hold," The airship captain remarked, purposely striding out of the kitchen and into the dimly lit halls of the fortress, where Fox had swept Raven off to. "It does appear we'll be putting our tea on hold again, I apologize." And with that, he was gone; after all, despite the fact that the long haired male's residence only really held two people, it was remarkably large and somehow London always managed to get lost in it. When he did eventually find the library he only leaned inward; too much learning for his liking. "So, find anything you can use, did you?"

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

At March's overly loud (and in his opinion, obnoxious) insistance at having things done before London returned, Dormire had not been permitted the option to catch up on the sleep he so desperately knew was required; Alice's captain often felt the need to touch upon the possibility of his narcolepsy, but really, what was so wrong with enjoying the feeling of a short nap every now and again? Unfortunately however, in this instance the crew had outnumbered him and so now here he stood, propped up against a stack of crates, somehow managing to watch both the rest of the crew and the skies at the same time; if he was going to be forced to stay awake then it was probably best he do a good job. "Dormire~" Oh, just wonderful; from the moment the smaller male felt those hands wrap around his waist and that purring in his ear, the first mate knew he wasn't going to get away with any sleep, not even a little bit. "Not slacking off again are we~? You've got poor Hare's ears all tied up in knots~"

"It's not my fault Hare's so jumpy." Dormire responded almost sharply with a touch of sarcasm that the rest of the crew had grown used to over the years, barely supressing a yawn before waving a hand to a small group of the ship's hands in direction as to where best to place another crate. "Sleep is good for you, it is; you'd think he'd get more of it instead of pouring over that borish slip of paper all day and night."

"I'm sorry Dormire, what's the saying you have? About good workers, and bad workers?" Before Dormire could respond however, Chess had already turned him around and the sleepy mouse man was forced to meet that sometimes entirely strange, bright grin again, like every other time The Alice happened to make port at Needle Point.

"I've. Missed. You~!" Scrunching up his nose suspiciously, this time Dormire was unable to prevent his wide, toothy yawn.

"I don't have any milk for you; Cap'n said to not feed you anymore, he did." Maybe it was just Hare rubbing off on him, but when it came to the Cheshire Dormire had always been rather skeptical; the cat came around as often as possible and always made it a point to touch him as much as he pleased, but if it wasn't that Chess fancied him as dinner then surely it was because most of the time Dormire was asleep long enough for him to get away with things. Love had never really filtered into his thought process as to why the Baron's closest ally came around so much.

O.O.C Been meaning to ask but what exactly is the Nettersnitch? It sounds really familliar but I can't think of it. O__e Oho...blunt Dormire is blunt.
It kind of does, come to think of it. I was making the plot and decided I wanted to do something different...and you can't really go with Alice in Wonderland without making it at least partially disturbing. XD

Baron could only smile sadly at London's words. "Sometimes I wonder if you know more then your head can hold." 'Sometimes I wish I were as ignorant as everyone else, Ellis...' He mused, but revealed nothing. "It does appear we'll be putting our tea on hold again, I apologize." "Oh it's not like I'll be going anywhere anytime soon~" And the madly grinning mask was back on, over his features. "Do drop by more often though, it's wonderfully distracting~" And London was gone, leaving the Baron to mull over his thoughts alone...

                                =-=

"I don't have any milk for you; Cap'n said to not feed you anymore, he did." Chess pouted childishly, nuzzling the smaller male even more. It was kind of disheartening how Dormire never seemed to notice his advances, but Chess wasn't going to give up. For now, he could only content himself with just being able to be close to his (almost) favorite person in the world. "Ne, Dormire~" He murmured. "'S not like your captain will-" He suddenly cut himself off, alert and tense, tail twitching, ears flat back on his head, cat-like pupils dilated.

The stench...a horrible, horrible stench that was worse that the smell of Baron's cooking; a sweet and sour combination that could penetrate through the fog of the Baron's pig snout soup gone wrong. The stench of the capital. The stench of a killer.

                                Nettersnitch.

Chess's hair stood on end and he hissed, letting go of Dormire. "Get The Alice ready to leave. I'll retrieve your captain. Go." Without waiting for an answer, Chess had already de-materialized.

                                =-=

Since he had arrived at the library, Raven had been left alone and Fox had disappeared somewhere...He was currently flipping through a book when,

"So, find anything you can use, did you?"

Raven quickly looked up, teal eyes partially visible through the thin curtain of his blonde bangs. There seemed to be instant relief once the blonde saw the Londerian, for some reason. "...No, not really." He frowned a little, biting his bottom lip unconsciously, like he did whenever he was in thought; though he never knew of his habit. "What did he mean by...'consulting the spiders'?" Raven wasn't quite fond of spiders. He had seen enough of them on earth. He wondered what they were like on Londerland...

Suddenly the appearance of the blonde cat-male from before cut into their conversation, his laid back expression tight and grim. "Don't want to seem rude, captain, but you'd best be leaving now; unless you want to be graced with a visit from the Snitch?" As suddenly as he came, Chess disappeared once more, presumably to announcing the arrival of the queen's assassin to the Baron. Raven just looked confused, though he was certain that this 'Snitch' wasn't a nice character. "...Um...should we...?" He asked mildly.

                                ||OoC: GAH. Sorry for the late reply. I didn't have internet until just this evening D:

Nettersnitch the name, creature, or character? xD The name was a spur of the moment thing. I didn't know what else to put xDD He's the Jabberwocky's character :3 I just imagined Snitch's creature form something like the one you chose for Snow's monster form xD

Speaking of which, could you play him? :3 I just have this urge to split all the minor characters between us and pair them all up 8'DD

True, true ^.^ I've tried making an Alice in Wonderland based plot once. The characters just ran away with it and it became kinda dark xDD ||

Yawning and shaking his head tiredly, the airship's first mate could only roll his eyes and wrinkle his nose as the Cheshire Cat continued to purr and nuzzle at his neck and ears; Chess had always been remarkably affectionate, for whatever his reasons were. "Ne Dormire~ 'S not like your captain will-" Blinking from underneath the cap nestled firmly above the crown of his hair, at first the mouse man was unable to understand what exactly the cat's problem was...but then it hit him; that smell was unmistakable, and the way it cut through the cloud of pepper surrounding the Baron's fortress made his naseous. "Get The Alice ready to leave. I'll retrieve your captain. Go."

Suddenly Dormire wasn't really feeling like a nap anymore.

"You heard the cat!" The smaller man snapped, grabbing a still mutturing Hare and hauling him towards the bow of the ship. "Raise anchor, start plotting a course! Anywhere but here would be preferable!" Getting caught by White was one thing; London and the rest of the crew had been battling with him for so long that it had become old news. But the Nettersnitch...he was far too unpredictable to be caught without at least a minor advantage.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

"No...not really." London's features were quick to settle into a frown, and they didn't soften any upon seeing the look on Raven's face. It was one of immediate relief...trust, even, and the last time he'd seen that on someone other then his crew, things had ended badly for him. "What did he mean by...'consulting the spiders'?" Unable to help from grinning, London shook his head and waved a dismissive hand; from the very few instances he had seen otherworlders, the captain had come to the conclusion that they tended to be afraid of practically everything, from their own shadows to having their feet up off the ground. It was actually rather amusing, despite the circumstances.

"It doesn't mean whatever you likely think it does." The purple haired man commented, reaching for a nearby book to gradually browse through; unfortunately it ended up being another cookbook, and about half the recipies inside contained excessive amounts of pepper (not that London would have expected anything else), so at least the airship captain was fortunate enough to not be too invested in his reading when Chess popped up again, apparently done bothering his first mate.

"Don't want to seem rude, captain, but you'd best be leaving now; unless you want to be graced with a visit from the Snitch?" And by that point whatever else might have been said no matter who the person was promptly ignored; not particularly caring at the moment if he was being forceful, London promptly encircled his hand around Raven's comparitvely more fragile wrist, tugged him out of his seat and through the fortress, and ushered him up the gangplank to The Alice before stepping onto the floating ship himself.

"I trust you've plotted a course as far away from our wonderful oncoming company as possible?" London inquired, trying very hard to remain calm and patient despite the obvious quickening of his pulse that only the Snitch could bring on. If anyone were capable of tracking him down it would be the Queen's favorite assassin..and something told him should the two ever meet the encounter would be a bad one.

"Ah, well it's a bit of a stretch given the proximity of our pursuers, if that wretched smell is anything to go by.." Hare began, fumbling with the map to jab at a very particular spot, nearly putting a hold through the already fragile paper. "But I think we could make it to the Spiders' valley if we catch that reliable tailwind from the west, don't you think? " A quick nod from London, and The Alice was off. "You'd better hold one tight, otherworlder," The navigator mumbled in Raven's direction, practically hovering over the captain's shoulder in case a sudden change of direction was required. "This isn't the time to fumble about."

Nett was grossly unhappy at the moment; on top of being stuck with a completely idiotic crew of Card Soldiers who were only slowing him down, the Queen had gotten so desperate that she'd decided to send him out on a mission to find the slippery Mad Hatter London with White, under orders to bring him back alive. Normally this wouldn't have been so bad considering she'd give him full license to maim the other man if he tried to resist, having as much faith in her favorite assassin's abilities as she did, but Amoretta had also strictly ordered there was to be no messing around, which meant he couldn't take the rabbit eared man at his liberty, like he usually did when she wasn't looking, around corners, in the gardens...not that it was all his fault, White had been particularly prudish on this journey and... "What?!" The sharp eyed male hissed with obvious annoyance upon feeling two rather pronounced taps on his shoulders; figured it would be those irritating twins.

"Aww, Netty's all in a tizzy, is he? You're needed out on deck, we picked up The Alice's trail, we did." About damn time; practically shoving his way past the still grinning redheads with a guff response to get back to work, Nett settled for crossing his arms and glaring at nothing in particular. It probably would have been better for him to actually say something to his companion....but that would have just ended up with him shoving his tongue down the rabbit's throat so best not to say anything.

Raven stifled a small sound of astonishment as London grabbed his wrist (his hand felt small in comparison to London's...) and proceeded to drag him along unceremoniously. Once more, Raven found his feet on the deck of The Alice (which he was now very certain must have been named after the Alice Liddel of Alice in Wonderland), and everyone was rushing around him.

"But I think we could make it to the Spiders' valley if we catch that reliable tailwind from the west, don't you think? "

What? What had he missed? While he was trying to figure out what to do to help, he heard the words 'spiders' and 'valley' and he blanched. They needed a whole damn valley? Just how many of them were there?

Raven was not fond of spiders the slightest.

With a smooth jerk, The Alice moved away from the Baron's port. "You'd better hold one tight, otherworlder. This isn't the time to fumble about." Raven, despite his first impression of the hare-eared navigator, was quick to latch on to the railing beside the wheel, thinking it safer if he stuck by London.

At least the man knew what he was doing with this craft.

                                =-=

Baron looked out of the window, Chess by his side, watching The Alice depart swiftly. "Is it alright not to assist them?" Chess muttered; partially torn because of his concern for Dormire.

Of course, he was worried for London too, but Dormire was really his main concern.

"Ellis is a capable captain. This is between him and Amoretta...even if White and the Snitch are there in her place." Baron turned away from the window and left the study, leaving Chess to watch The Alice disappear into the clouds.

                                =-=

White made the mistake of looking up when Nett walked into view. He could practically see the murderous intent oozing from his lover, but wisely chose to say nothing, pushing his rose-tinted goggles up to keep his hair out of his face as he consulted the map and returned his gaze to Needle Point Isle, unconsciously reminding himself that Nett only appeared that irritated when he lost a bet with him, or had been sexually deprived for too long. It was the longest he was in the same area as Nett and not have the assassin grope him, kiss him senseless, or do...well...other things to him. It was a pleasant change for once; if not leaving him feeling a little strange that they weren't humping like bunnies every chance Nett got (if you'll pardon the pun).

He was distracted by his thoughts as his sharp eyes caught movement in the clouds, heading away from the fortress.

                                "Alice spotted at eleven!"

And immediately, The Beheader came to life and before they knew it, they were already hunting down the evasive Mad Hatter.

                                ||OoC: Snitch is the S and White is the M~ Oooooh, this'll be fun~~! ^O^

Arching a brow at the blond's decision to stay as close to London as possible, the airship captain decided it better to pay it no mind and instead focused his attention on the long expanse of sky before them, one hand resting steadilly on the patchwork steering wheel; usually he wouldn't have been nearly as on edge even with the threat of the Snitch hanging over his head, but having Raven on board, who didn't understand the dnagers of Londerland or exactly how much danger he was in.....it was a definate liability, one he couldn't afford to have on his ship. But surely the Caterpillar would know what was to be done with the boy, and if he was being honest with himself the indigo eyed man knew he would feel much better after dropping him off in the care of the Valley. "Captain, Beheader spotted just off the back end, coming closer!" Glancing back over his shoulder with narrowed eyes, London couldn't help from swearing under his breath, some colorful words that could have made the crudest person in the world uncomfortable.

"Prepare to be boarded, men." London wasn't an idiot; he was well aware of the weaponry and armor that the Queen's favorite vessel posessed, and though the crew might have been smaller the two favored men on board would have never allowed their ship to be ambushed in such a fashion. No, the odds of the Snitch coming aboard his own ship were much more likely. "Hare, look after our guest; make sure the Snitch and White don't touch a hair on his head." After all, the Baron had said he was important; just how, London didn't know...but the only thing his old friend had ever been wrong about was his soup choices, after all.

"Why me? We outta just shove him below deck, we outta!" The navigator shouted, practically pulling out clumps of his hair in what London noted to be obvious fear; the Nettersnitch tended to have that affect on most people...just not London.

"Calm down, Hare," The slim twenty three year old assured quietly, giving the ship a hard turn to the left to sail right past the deck of The Beheader for a clear veiw of a very angry Nettersnitch. "Raven." He adressed the smaller boy with a very serious expression. "Perhaps it would be best if you go below deck, for now; this isn't a Card Soldier battle....and there's a very real chance you could die." Hearing a very loud thump, the purple haired man turned about....and then hands were on his windpipe.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Unable to help himself, the taller man smirked when his rabbit eared companion looked up, expectancy written all over his face; true, ordinarilly he would have already worn the naval captain out so bad that he wouldn't have been able to walk straight for days on end, but despite what might have been thought about him, Nett was capable of self control when the mood struck him (besides that, if he sucessfully managed to catch London today surely all of the maids in the castle would be more then willing to ease some of his tension). Would have been nice for White to initiate something for once...but the assassin knew he was too reserved for something like that so in the meantime the sharp eyed male was content, at least mildly, to lounge out on The Beheader's railing and pick out shapes in the clouds because really, what else was he supposed to do? Hang out with the twins?

"Alice spotted at eleven!" Much better. If Nett squinted hard enough he could just barely make out the somewhat distorted, patched together shape of the Queen's least favorite obstacle; there appeared to be a fair number of men on board, but the only person he even remotely cared about was London. Taking the Mad Hatter down, dragging him back to the castle and before Amoretta...it was a fantasy he'd dreamt of for years, and as the ship sailed closer and closer to The Alice, the bloodthirsty man couldn't help from growling as the smaller, less fortified ship continued to drift just out of reach.

"Get your a** over here, Hatter, so I can cut your balls off and mount them on my wall!" An airy, unbothered laugh; Nett would have recognized that litling voice anywhere, having let its owner slip just out of his figners a thousand times, and the fact that London had been right there only served to make him angrier.

"Maybe when you pull your head out of your a**!" And in seconds, before he himself knew what he was doing, Nett had lunged his body across the open expanse of air, landing on the deck of The Alice like some murderous, crouching beast; slinging the ocassional crew member out of the way, no sooner had Nett's gaze locked onto London's did he make a grab for the airship captain, causing the ship to roll violently to the left so much so that it was practically sideways.

"I outta just crack your head against the rails, is what I should do," Nett intoned viciously, hands tightening around the pale column of skin that made up London's neck. "I'll tell the Queen it was an accident, that I couldn't control myself...she'll be angry, but at least she'll be less desperate. I wonder if you're a screamer; never got to find out." Unfortunately the assassin wasn't given the chance, instead choosing to release his hold on the Mad Hatter in favor of avoiding the sudden wicked glint of the curved steel sword in London's hands.

"Never were one for playng fair, were you?"

O.O.C Psh White, you love it, don't lie. I kind of picture Nett as a person who takes what he can get where he can get it...I wonder if White will get jealous if he starts skirt chasing.
Kind of on the fence with this post...I keep thinking they should manage to capture London by having Raven as collateral...something like, he can go to Spider's valley as long as we get London type of thing. And Raven gets all emotional and then yaoi! XDDD

Raven jolted when he heard his name. "Raven." It was the first time London had said it. "Perhaps it would be best if you go below deck, for now; this isn't a Card Soldier battle....and there's a very real chance you could die." If he died here...did that mean that he would die for real? Would he be able to return to earth? But...could he be able to just leave London like that?

Suddenly someone leapt at London and then Raven was being pulled back, away from the fight. They headed towards to lower deck, down towards the hallway, but someone was already in their path...someone with snow-furred rabbit ears and rose-tinted goggles....

                                =-=

"Get your a** over here, Hatter, so I can cut your balls off and mount them on my wall!" White shook his head at Nett's barbaric threat; honestly, he didn't understand how he ever allowed himself to be taken by such a rough-around-the-edges person (though he would never admit that he liked it). "Maybe when you pull your head out of your a**!" And then Nett was off like an arrow, leaving White to shout orders for the crew to pull Beheader up to Alice before he launched himself over the railing an onto the deck of his enemy. Card soldiers swarmed the deck, and the fighting began. White would have immediately headed up to meet Nett and join the fight to capture London, but something caught his eye...

A blonde was being half dragged, half tugged down the stairs, towards the safety of the hold; and that made him wonder. The blonde was a new face, and judging from how many times White had run into London (and failed to capture him, he reminded himself bitterly), he more or less knew who was on the ship.

This blonde wasn't one of them.

And what was curious indeed was the way the blonde boy kept glancing back up to where London was, a flash of curious concern splashed across his expression like neon lights.

White slipped in between them and the doorway, and it was then that they noticed him. "Well, well..." He mused, drawing his sword and pointing it at Hare and the boy. "Where are you off to in such a rush, Hare? The only rushing rabbit around here should be me...Her Highness doesn't like it when I'm slow after all, and your captain has made me quite late." Raven didn't like this...he didn't look friendly. London. Raven shot another wavering look up to where he heard London fighting. An intrigued look crossed White's expression...hmm...

                                ||OoC: Hmm...yes, he probably will.

                                Oooh, yes please~~ 8'D ||

To his credit, Hare was remarkably fast, as his animalistic nature dictated; it was something London had mentioned numerous times and so at the start, the rabbit eared man had been confident in his ability to take on such a simple task as getting Raven down to the cargo hold, even if the blond was dragging his feet. "Well, well..." Unable to help himself, the navigator let loose a squawk of surpise and a few very colorful words; in all the confusion and the arrival of a very violent, stalking Snitch he'd forgotten about The Beheader's navigator. "Where are you off to in such a rush, Hare? The only rushing rabbit around here should be me...Her Highness doesn't like it when I'm slow after all, and your captain has made me quite late." Putting himself between the sword and Raven, Hare was quick to draw his own weapon, a strange smoking gun with a vicious looking nozzle and patchwork gears; made by the Carpenter himself, more then capable of fighting off some blades every now and then.

"Your Queen must be put off quite often then, she must." He remarked dryly, finger resting lightly on the trigger. "But I'd be careful where you rush, White; there's more then one way to slow you down...a bullet through your skull might do it, I reckon." It was something Hare would have loved doing, too. "Aren't you late for tea, or your date licking the Queen's boots, then? I would scamper off if I was you."

"Admit it, Hatter; you've lost!" Eyes narrowing with disdain, London recklessly grabbed hold of his opposition's blade and pushed it away from his vital arteries, the blade digging well into his skin as droplets of blood quickly pooled together on the ship's deck; had Raven not been onboard things would have been different, the crew could have fought more recklessly....but from the anxious face Dormire was currently displaying from his high vantage point on top of the crates they had just recently loaded, too high for a Card Soldier to climb, the blond and Hare were in a very bad position. And even though he hadn't expected it of himself, London had already indirectly promised to keep the smaller boy safe, at least until Spider's Valley. "What, nothing to say? Always knew you weren't smart enough to keep running forever."

"If I told you what I was thinking Nett, you might be slapped by your mother. If you even have a mother," London muttured, not flinching in the slightest as the Nettersnitch clamped a hand down on his shoulder and steered him towards White and his navigator. "I trust you have enough class to honor your end of the deal."

"Despite what you might think Hatter, unlike some people I'm more of a gentleman then you'll ever be," The dar haired man snapped, waving a hand in dismissal to call off the rest of the soldiers. "Everyone listen up now, I'm not going to say this twice! The Mad Hatter and I have reached an agreement; he'll be coming with us to the Queen, in exchange for the safe passage of this pathetic ship and that scrappy thing." He instructed, waving a hand in Raven's general direction; not like Amoretta would have had much use for him anyway. "You can dock at Spider's Valley, Hatter; run, hide all you want. But it's only a matter of time before I hunt down every last one of you children and slice you open like a fish."

"Touching image, Nett; are you sure you've never tried poetry?" London rolled his eyes. "You have such a way with the spoken word, it's almost bone chilling." Catching the worried, anxious looks of the rest of his crew, the twenty three year old managed a smile. "No worries men, heads high. Dormire knows what to do, and you have your orders. I'll be back before time catches up, don't pay this distraction any mind." Breathing a sigh of relief when Hare finally lowered his gun (after all, didn't need more issues then they already had), with all the confidence of someone who wasn't being taken prisoner London allowed himself to be escorted towards the end of The Alice, choosing not to say anything about how The Beheader smelled like failure.

"Fair airship act states that last objects and words are permitted to be given." Nett muttured, clearly not amused with the law. "Better hurry up though; I'm not feeling charitable."

"I'll get you some tea, Cap'n, I will!" Dormire decided, rushing off below deck to retrieve a small packet of the violet haired man's favorite brew of drink; none of the other crew members had ever been able to stomach it, but from what London had confessed it was a variety his mother had taught him to make.

Raven swallowed as he kept behind Hare. "Your Queen must be put off quite often then, she must. But I'd be careful where you rush, White; there's more then one way to slow you down...a bullet through your skull might do it, I reckon." "I wonder if you'd be fast enough, Hare~" White's lips twitched in what was an amused smirk. "Aren't you late for tea, or your date licking the Queen's boots, then? I would scamper off if I was you." "I suppose she might be more lenient if I returned with your head as well." White licked his bottom lip, a tingling feeling running through his fingers at the thought. The two of them had always been at odds; besides, the Queen only wanted London back alive after all. "Or maybe I should bring you back alive and cut off your head for her to see..."

Nett was rubbing off on him big time.

White's gaze flickered over Hare's shoulder, past Raven, to the approaching Nett and his captive. An appreciative smirk tugged his lips higher.

"Everyone listen up now, I'm not going to say this twice!"

The whole deck became silent and Raven whirled around, eyes wide. No. He was about to dash forward, but White had breezed past Hare to clamp a hand onto the boy's shoulder. "Not so fast." He murmured darkly. "The Mad Hatter and I have reached an agreement; he'll be coming with us to the Queen, in exchange for the safe passage of this pathetic ship and that scrappy thing." Raven trembled under White's grip and the rabbit-eared male frowned slightly. London was actually giving up his freedom for this person? He eyed the small, blonde male. Who was he? What importance did he have?

"You can dock at Spider's Valley, Hatter; run, hide all you want. But it's only a matter of time before I hunt down every last one of you children and slice you open like a fish."

"Touching image, Nett; are you sure you've never tried poetry? You have such a way with the spoken word, it's almost bone chilling."

Raven was one of those who were sending London a worried look. "No worries men, heads high. Dormire knows what to do, and you have your orders. I'll be back before time catches up, don't pay this distraction any mind." Raven felt furious with himself, shoving White's hand off his shoulder, much to the surprise of The Beheader's captain. 'What am I supposed to do? What can I do? He's the only one I can trust...What do I do?' "No!" Raven blurted out before he could stop himself and dashed forward to latch onto London's arm, keeping him from stepping off from the deck of The Alice, eyes squeezed shut. It was curiously impulsive of him; he was never impulsive.

His words were lodged within his throat, but it was obvious to the others watching that Raven trusted London the most at the point. "...you can't...I don't trust anyone else..." At the very least, London hadn't thrown him off the ship when Dormire had been suspicious of him...and Raven knew that London didn't want him there, and yet here he was, letting himself be taken in by the enemy because he allowed Raven onto his ship. If he hadn't been there...would London have been caught?

                                ||OoC: Hurhurhur, but we loves it 8'DD

I gotta make myself clear, there's
No room for lies in this narrow world.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

This time London made no effort to hide the expression of disgust which crossed over his features as he neared the planks of The Beheader; really it didn't smell all that pleasant, and the twenty three year old wasn't planning on being an easy captive. However, just as Nett was about to force him to board (clearly taking an excessive amount of pleasure in it), someone grabbed onto is arm, jerking him backwards. "No!" Tilting the hem of his striped high hat upwards, the violet eyed airship captain blinked rather owlishly upon realizing it was Raven who had latched himself onto London's arm; sure, everyone else knew better then to question his decisions, but in all honesty he hadn't expected the blond to get so...attatched to him. "...you can't...I don't trust anyone else..." Allowing a chuckle to pass his lips, London stooped down just slightly to erase the obvious height difference between the two, seemingly unbothered despite the fact that Nett was still hovering over him with a murderous glare.

"You humans, always so worried about this and that," London sighed, placing a hand on Raven's shoulder. "Trusting me, trusting other people.....isn't it time you learned that those things don't matter here? I promised myself I would protect you, and so I will; it's not a question of can or can't." Fairly simple way of looking at things, but London had learned a long time ago that it was better to think that way; less to worry about in the end. "If you can't trust anyone else but me, then have faith that I know what's best. The crew will take you to Spider's Valley; ask for Caterpillar, he'll know how to get you home."

"That's enough chattering, Hatter; get your a** on the ship or I'll load you on in peices."

"Fine, fine; you are the captain after all. Dormire, where's my tea?" Smiling contendly upon feeling the small square bag of herbs dropped into his palm, after giving the tea container a quick sniff the twenty three year old picked his hat up off his head and dropped it onto Raven's with a crooked smile; it didn't fit the smaller boy very well, but then again most of London's hats were custom jobs. "Doesn't really suit you...but I'll have to ask you to keep it safe for me, yes? It's my favorite hat you know." Cuffing the smaller blond gently under the chin, after giving the rest of his crew a two fingered salute London allowed his dark haired captor to lead him aboard The Beheader, and that was the end of that.

"Well, you heard the captain." Dormire sighed heavilly, ears twitching in anxiety. "Make sail for Spider's Valley."

"Did you hear, did you hear? White and the Snitch are back! They've captured the Mad Hatter, they have!" All in all Nett was feeling uncharacteristically pleased with himself by the time The Beheader docked at the Black Queen's castle; true, he'd had to practically drag London off the airship in all his difficulty, but to finally bring the captain of The Alice to his Queen who had waited so patiently...it was more then worth it in every sense of the word. "Now I know you aren't good with following the rules, Hatter, but we actually do have them here so you'd better do whatever her Majesty tells you to. Otherwise I might forget she wants you alive."

"Oh dear, an audience with the Queen? But I haven't prepared my curtsy." However, as expected, in the end London didn't have to do anything but stand there and let the smaller woman hug the life out of him, as it was; in a previous lifetime he might have embraced her in return, run a hand through the Queen's long dark hair, but from the moment she had tried to seduce him Amoretta had ceased to be his older sister. Now...he wasn't sure what she was. Hopefully she would end up letting him free roam at least a little bit; now that he was at the castle it was imperative he find the Dodo, wherever he was at the moment. "Amoretta, a bit more gently if you please."

"Oh, of course! I'm just so happy, my London has come back to me!" The slim blackette gushed. "You wouldn't beleive how I've had to get along since you left me, London; why just yesterday I had to turn away that Mock Turtle six times, can you possibly understand how difficult it is for me to stay faithful to you when you won't come home more often?"

"One can only imagine."

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

"So tell me again, how did you do it, Nett?" Rolling his eyes, the tall assassin absentmindedly allowed the brown haired maid who had singled him out after dropping London in the throne run to play with his still gloved fingers; it wasn't like she was particularly pretty but after going such a long time without any intimacy, who was he to complain if she was offering? "The other maids say White was the one who did all the work but I don't beleive it for a second, I don't! Nobody else could have captured the Hatter but you!"

"Hm.." The sharp eyed man smirked and allowed the smaller girl to tug him off down the hall; he wasn't really sure where White had gone off to and to be honest he wasn't in the mood to go find him right now, especially because he would likely be turned away. "I suppose I could tell you more, in a more private setting."
