 James Taggart "Ouch. Now that hurt my dear." He enjoyed humor and smart remarks. Kept life interesting. "I was thinking a black wool. Just an inside pocket. What else would make me look more business based?" He chuckled a bit. He could remember when he last met such a character. "But yes. I believe only I and O'Connor know. But how he knows is beyond me."

 Shayla Fagan "If you want to fit in with the pompous pigs, I suggest a three piece suit. all of the same matching material a thin black pinstripe ought to suit you. If you insist on tartan you could always show that off in your tie, if you wish it." She said as she finished double checking his measurements. "I could measure you for your trousers now but that may get a wee bit personal." She said looking down at James's kilt.

James Taggart "I'm not commando this season. Rather cold in Canada this year." He thought about her idea of a three piece suit. Personal he didn't care to much for. "Alright let's do it. I need to gain some influence in America." He thought about the tie. He never even owned a tie. "A tie... Well if I'm buying a suit why not. One question though... how do you put a tie on?"

Shayla Fagan Shay smiled "if you are looking for a job you got one. There are some ties over there in the corner when I finish his measurements feel free to teach him." Shay got down on one knee and placed the tape on the outside of his hip to measure to his ankle. "As for you my little canuck I would suggest you go home, many upstarts here get clipped." Shay was perfectly serious. "Of course your new suit will ensure you look good in your coffin but I doubt you would be suitable for open casket after a ting like that....."

James Taggart "I'm not here for the little war of area my dear. I am hear to make entrance eaisier for my boys." He chuckled that she thought he was an upstart. "My dear. In Canada my name is known. I am in it all. Politics to organized crime. I just want a footing to make my friends lives easier." He took a quick look at the ties. She did have some nice ones. He always enjoyed his itlle political games. "I also need to know the best place to find the mayor in a public place."

Shayla Fagan "The crusader for justice, our noble mayor can be found at the Rising Phoenix burlesque house. He keeps company with several of the chippys there." Shay said flatly, I make the costumes for many of the dance halls and gin joints around this town...you would be surprised who can be seen sometimes. " Shay reluctantly pushed against the fabric of James kilt to get his inseam measurement . Why do men insist on wearing these things they are not even ancient traditional garb... our ancestry wore pants! She thought to herself.

James Taggart "Looks like I got a place." James smiled at the meet. If needed he would kidnap the poor mayor. "You might be just what I need to get dirt on the poor mayor of this lovely city." He let a little dark smile out. "What else can you tell me of the mayor?"

Shayla Fagan "Oh, I know plenty but I shan't be telling you. What I told you you could have learned from any nickle gossip rag in this town. You have yet to give me a reason to help you further..." She said coolly as she stood. "Now provided you know which cloth you wish me to make your suit from, as I said I would suggest a dark pinstripe. But, you may go to the back to look at what I have if you wish to make your own decision."

James Taggart "Pinstripe sounds good. As for further help... that is to be talked about my dear." James smile faded. She was very business based. Which is good. "Is there something you want in at or people you want access to? I have connections. Both criminal and political." He scratched his chin and looked around. "That is up to you to decide on."

Shayla Fagan "The only man I needed access to is no longer an issue, and never will be again. Honestly the only thing I really need is better supplies for my shop but, that I think I can manage." Shay said quite proud of herself. "Your suit will be ready for pick up in about a weeks time, provided nothing happens to the shop in the mean time." The last statement was not in jest but all seriousness. Shayla was still building back from when her place was collateral to a one of the gangs firebombing a safe house of one of their rivals.

James Taggart "I will see what I can do my dear. Your shop will be under mine and the Irish protection." James said. He grabbed his Parliament card and handed to her. It had a few numbers. "Top is the number of my office. Second is the number of my men. They are at the docks. need them they will be her and listen." He smiled at her. "I can try to get a close friend to help."

Shayla Fagan "I found accepting help from men like you is often a Faustian bargain. In the end the price you will pay is hardly worth the while." Shay said but she still took the card and slid it into her pocket. "If you are indeed a friend to my cousin drop by tomorrow evening for tea. Then my cousin and you can finish your business." It was simple enough a friend of her cousins, hopefully there would be no need to pay the piper for this one.

James Taggart "No price. If you are a friend or relative of Brian then help is free. He is like my brother. Irish but still." James smiled. He thought about her offer for tea. He would be able to visit Brian without business involved. "I will be there. No business. Just friends and family." He grabbed out his wallet. "how much should I pay in advance for the suit?"

Shayla Fagan "The full price of the suit: vest, pants, shirt and jacket will be $45.00 you can make whatever down payment you wish. I am sure as a friend of my cousin you won't skip out. Even if you did you are fairly average sized I am sure I could sell it to another." Shayla said as with a smile. She would have to see to the lady who seemed to be looking for a job. Plenty of women were looking for jobs in these times. Shay just needed to be sure she would not bring to much baggage along.
