Kenny takes a threatening step forward and says "You even think about scrapping my armor I will tear you in half!"

Captain James Maine



James nodded. He knew what was going through Noah's mind. He hissed and growled. "Maine says the data pad is still important on its content. Zeke, Kenny is a guest for now. He can come and go as he pleases till we can get him off planet as is part of the deal." Titan translated. James just stood trying to figure this out. He didn't want to risk more men if they found something they already had. His mind kept going back to data pad. He gave a low growl. "Maine that data pad is gone. Only you and that engineer knew what was on it. And the codes are only known by you." Titan said. James knew Titan was right. But enough time that data pad would be hacked.

Noah watched quietly as Zeke and Kenny left the room, his eyes closing half way as he went into thought. He didn't know what was on the data file.. But it was important to Maine. He did care about the team, though he had a hard way of showing it. But Maine was a bit different. They had been together since he was.. A failure.. Flash backs of the experiment began running through his head, the torture they made him go through.. His father.. It made him tense up. Maine was sorta that person that was with him through it all.

"Maybe I can get it back.." He whispered, so deep in thought that he didn't notice that he did.

Noah was surprised when he noticed that Maine had heard what he said, but even more surprised when he was trusted with the military's biggest secret. "..." The information seemed small, but he actually understood why it was so important.. And why Maine was so upset. Picking up his helmet, he turned away. "What was on the file data file doesn't matter to me. I trust you.." He began to make his way to the door. "And don't worry. The secret is safe." He said as he left the room, making his way to the training room. Though he just got off a mission, resting was the last thing on Noah's list. He had to be better, he had to be able to protect everyone.. And to show his father that he had worth.. Even a failure can be great.

A ping comes from the intercom and Zeke's voice comes in. "Just thought I would let you know captain, our guest's armor is just out of calibration. Looks like it took a tumble. If you want you can come and check-in in about ten and it'll be all fixed."

Entering the training room, Noah put on his helmet. The AI program activating.

"Welcome Agent Noah."

"Hey Philis, activate VCT number 12. Max level." He said as he walked to the middle of the large room.

"Activating Virtual Combat Training, Session 12, Accuracy. Now beginning."

Holographic plates began to rise in 2 rows, spinning around Noah at high speeds and different directions. The objective of this training was to hit each plate twice. Which sounded easy, but the rotation speed of the plates changed throughout the session making the many plates difficult to keep track of, as well as the fact that if you would happen to hit a plate more than twice by accident, it would deduct a point, as well as the time that you completed the session played a part in the scoring. Accuracy and speed were the key to this training.

His eyes tracked each plate as if they were moving in slow motion. There were 16 in all.. He began to move, punching the first 4 that crossed them, causing the colors to change from green to pink. His punches turning into rapid kicks. His fighting style specialized in using speed, and kicks for power. He twisted his body, kicking forward, then behind him without looking, finishing the training in 20 seconds flat.

"Session complete. Your time is 20 seconds with a score of 100% in accuracy."

"Run it again Philis."

He was hard on himself. He always had been, making his body go through the extreme training almost non-stop when he felt as if he wasn't good enough, no matter how tired he was. From combat training, to weapons training, even free running, which was one of his specialties because he was the fastest person on the force, though, it wasn't required in the training, it was just something he did by himself. As exhausting as it was, he didn't like doing nothing.. It gave him too much time to think. He normally kept himself busy until a mission came up.

Kenny walks into the Command center to pick up the cred stick with the promised payment on it giving Maine a sharp two fingered wave on the way out. There was a new toy slung over the armor's pauldron. It was one of the experimental mass-drivers being developed by the Weapons R&D dept. After the door slid shut the voice of Mannus, the Research Dept.'s AI chimed over the intercom. "Attention. All science personnel report to the science labs. Repeat: All science personnel report to the Science labs."

A couple of security drones in the Command Center also stopped their patrols and left.
