"Actually, there are plenty of hangars we aren't using. I currently have Kenny securing the Police Station, if you want to help out there. I have been trying to set up an FOB there."

As Kraus and his men entered the area they went silent, his power axe was used more than once as a bludgeon against the shambling husks. Picking a building a couple blocks from the walls of the spaceport he pulled up the map, it took a while but he found what he was looking for. A small line indicated a small supply tunnel to one of the nearby warehouses, they might have it fortified but if he was lucky it had been overlooked or covered up. Motioning for the four to follow him he crept out the door and for the building, according to the map it would be a short but cautious walk.

About a half an hour later they were inside and looking for the tunnel's entrance, the building was in rough shape due to some manner of explosion that had brought numerous walls crumbling down. With some heavy lifting they found their way to the basement and a padlocked door, with a wicked grin he slammed the alloy head of his axe into it causing the lock to bounce across the floor in pieces. As the door eased open a pair walked ahead with the others behind him, it was dark and quiet... both good signs.

Before they made it far a devious thought crossed Victor's mind, he doubled back to the warehouse and lobbed a grenade as far as he could in the direction of the spaceport. The blast rocked a small building and was likely to attract a few zombies to the outer wall, he quickly met back up with his men and they moved on cautiously. The future was getting just plain rediculous, lazers and god damn auto guns made things no fun and every corner they turned he expected one or the other. Yet every time he peeked around the next corner... silence and empty space.

"I can't believe its going this damn well..." at this rate the door on the other side was just going to be some indestructable space door. "Just plain rediculous..." he ignored the confused glances and pressed on. Right when he was begining to think the tunnel led straight to hell they began to find flickering lights on the walls, "that seems like a good sign..." Finally they came to a sturdy, but not indestructable looking door. On the right side about chest high there was a card scanner, dead center on the door was a small glass window.

Peeking through he saw one hell of a mess, some corpses littered the floor near the door with zombie looking people across the room in a similar fashion. Confused he leaned against the wall to think, as he looked down he saw a trail of dried blood that led to a corner of the room near the hallway they had entered from. Sure enough one lucky b*****d had escaped the room with his key card in time to bleed out in the hallway, after recovering it he headed straight for the door. Right before swiping the card he paused, "what kills both humans and zombies indescriminately?" One of his men shrugged and they all waited for his guess, "one of those piece of s**t auto guns!" Peeking through the window again he spotted a three foot slit on the right wall, this changed things...

"Captain, the disturbance is three blocks to the east. It seems to be a group of armed civilians. I lost them in a building on the edge of the spaceport." The monotone voice of Mannus droned into Maine's ear.

Maine looked to his marines. They all nodded and got into gear. The whole platoon moved to the position in a swift motion. All gains aimed at the only door. Maine and seven others aligned at both sides of the door. They opened the door and moved in silently. Remaining light on their feet as they moved. They heard firing from the basement and headed slowly down the stairs.
