A CONTEST ENTRY FOR THE DOE
Kimeti Name: Hiding Place
Personality: A doe built on deception, Hiding Place is at first sweet and beautiful, but deadly underneath. She will not hesitate to do what is necessary, even if it means killing off populations to maintain balance. It is unknown whether or not she does it out of pleasure or because she is ordered to, but she never complains.
Scout or Caretaker: Hiding Place would most likely be best suited for a Scout position, but is not necessarily against being a Caretaker, either. She definitely prefers being a Scout, but would not be above clean up in a less violent way, either.
Role in Tribe: She would most likely be responsible for maintaining balance in terms of population numbers. She'd also be one of the more subtle defenses against newcomers, more passive-aggressive than flat-out attacking them. She could also be used as a method of convincing others that what the tribe does is for the best, regardless of the number of deaths needed.

Kimeti Name: Don't Blink
Personality: Always watching, always listening, Stare is like a guardian in his own right. He rarely speaks, and can be a bit unnerving with the way he often appears out of nowhere. He seems to notice anything and everything; some say his eyes are red because he truly never blinks.
Scout or Caretaker: Definitely a scout, but more active on the homefront than out in the swamp. He'd be best suited for patrol and maintenance of the living space.
Role in Tribe: A guardian and watchdog to a T, Stare would most likely patrol both and border and the interior for things that are out of place or wrong. He may hunt occasionally if there is someone else to watch the boundaries, or may multitask, but protection and guarding against threats is are definitely his strong suits.

Personality: He has a deep, dark secret that seems to fuel his determination to assist in any way he can.
Scout or Caretaker: More Caretaker.
Role in Tribe: Guilt-ridden is not horribly skilled, but he has a perseverance that doesn't allow him to quit. He would be best in the brute cleaning up, any type of evacuating, carrying, and all-around go-to buck.

Kimeti Name: Wild Treebark
Personality: Treebark is a caring and protective buck. He loves all things big and small and will fight to the death to protect someone or something he cares for.
Scout or Caretaker: Wild Treebark is definitely both, but sees caretaking as a passtime where as being a Scout is a duty he swore himself to.
Role in Tribe: Treebark is a buck in tune with nature. He finds great pleasure in tending to a garden or playing with the small creatures that call the Swamp home. He also views himself as the designated protector of the defenseless plant and wildlife. He will at first show politeness to an invading buck or doe and ask them to leave. If however they persist and threaten the well being of the tribe or the balance they protect, he has no qualms or regrets about beating the kin within an inch of their life or even to death.

Personality: Sweet and innocent looking, Ground is not as she looks. She is wild when it comes to fixing up the land. Some times better off on her own.
Scout or Caretaker: Scout
Role in Tribe: Ground is not afraid to do what is necessary to keep the swamp going. She will kill what she has to, with little regret. From moving debris to working on balancing the food chain, Ground is there with a slight wild look in her eyes.

Personality:Personality: A dreamer, chasing feathers on the wind. To hunt or be hunted lies at the root of all things. - He dreams of making the world better
Scout or Caretaker: Likely more Scout than Caretaker, he wants to defend not just heal.
Role in Tribe: I think he'd be well suited towards teaching or expressing ideals, but also in defending the borders. Perhaps passing the word out to people who might be good for the tribe?

Personality: Personality: Quiet, a tendency to whisper and to do-so so quietly that one might imagine her to be mute. She cares for the swamp and that which lives within it.
Scout or Caretaker: Caretaker
Role in Tribe: I think she'd be very good at caring for small plants, and planting seeds. Gathering things to help the tribe without hurting what she's taking from? She's not really a fighter and would prefer to slip quietly away into undergrowth instead.

Personality: Independent, steadfast, quiet but blunt when she needs to be. She will not hesitate to speak her mind about the importance of maintaining life and nature around the swamp.

Role in Tribe: Sky is independent in her ways, not hesitating for a moment to delve into danger to protect what she can. Though she may be too serious for her own good she has a very caring nature, and has a deep love of cultivating land to see what beauty can be grown from any ground.

Personality: Careful and observant, Brave is a sort of buck you wouldn't expect to listen to your problems or give advice because he may look intimidating--but he does it very well and sincerely.

Role in Tribe: Brave is a quiet guardian. Content to roam around and secure the area around those who he wants to protect and not afraid to act on his own to eliminate any kind of threat that he does see.

Personality: She does not speak unless prompted to, but when she does he voice is smooth and gentle yet having a demanding presence. She is set in her ways, serious in whatever she does and will not rest until the job is done.

Role in Tribe: Breath is meticulous in her work, having a liking to keep things orderly and clean with nothing out of order. Her ways are always just and equal, wanting to keep things balanced in the tribe.

Personality: Jawless should have been named Spineless. Not only is he not very good at anything but he has no courage to even attempt to become better at anything other than taking orders. He's Wintershadow's grandson, what if he failed? It frightens Jawless greatly.

Role in Tribe: Jawless does what he can: Carrying things for other Caretakers. He makes a great pack mule, call on him and he'll quietly help you with anything you ask him to!

Role in Tribe: Ugly and destructive in her anger, Speedwell would have no difficulty culling populations or dealing with trespasses.

Role in Tribe: Brazen brings a meticulous eye and dedication when caring for the Swamp. He has a flair for nursing sick, weak and injured creatures. Despite having a horrible bedside manner, he is devoted to whatever charge he is currently caring for.
