Ryokou remembered being a child. When she wasn't as sick and could actually get along with the other children a lot better. She used to play tag with them till her little heart told her she needed to rest. Then, the little princess would run inside and cling to the horse. The woman had treated as her child at that time. Little Ryokou would run and cling to her leg to watch her cook. The horse would specially make spicy sushi for her and it would make her the happiest child that ever lived. This brought her back to that time. When she could actually smile and mean. When her world was only one block wide and she didn't have the burden of the curse or the family on her shoulders yet. That was the time she could be very carefree. But not now. She didn't even comment on the horse's chance of redemption because in her eyes, the woman already had it... The only two zodiac who actually care about her is the horse and dragon. "Just promise to come visit me more often." She told the horse with a slight smile as she took another bite of the spicy sushi.

Tsubaki giggled. "When did you become such a handsome rebel?" She chuckled and trying to ignore him rubbing her back so that it wouldn't completely consume her. Though, it felt really good so that was very hard to accomplish. She wondered how the night would play out in the back of her mind. How she could stand to be in the same room with Kazu and not be able to randomly kiss him or be wrapped up in his arms. Or be able to tease him and be chased then caught. How he would be able to resist the urge to kiss her cheek once she did. Then, she really hoped that Ryokou would leave her alone for once. Every since she started letting her come when she was 13, the princess made it a job torment her every year in some way, shape or form. Whether it be telling the kids to annoy her or verbally abusing her herself in front of everyone. Hopefully, this year would be much different. Maybe she would get lucky and Princess Sohma would just leave her alone for once.

Tsubaki listen to Kazu's last statement before removing her hands from his neck and reaching into the only pocket that was on her dress. It was small and barely noticeable. She reached her hand in that said pocket and pulled out a leather strip that had three shark teeth of different sizes hanging from them. It was a leather necklace. "Here! It's not much... But it made me think of you... I could see you wearing it. Hope you like it." She said a little shyly as she lifted it up to, her face turning a little pink. She had never bought a gift for someone before so she didn't know what to get. But this looked manly and it made her think of how much Kazu had grown over the years. From being the whiny. bully of a little kid to a strong man that she loved with all her heart. Tsubaki waited to see what he would do, if he would accept it. Her heart beat fast inside her chest as she waited.

It took her back to the time she cut Kazu's hair. They had both been hesitant. Kazu because he was allowing his mortal enemy close to his head with scissors. Then, Tsubaki because she wanted to show him she wasn't such a bad person and do a good job. All the years of trimming her own hair really helped her pull it off. Then, after wards he taught her how to garden. She had seemed so innocent then. So confused and curious enough to listen to him. That was the time she told him about going home from school. How she walked slow because she feared going home and facing the god and the rest of the family. But then, being so scared of the loud noises of traffic and large crowds from town, she would eventually start running home and in the end, locking herself in her little room. Where she spent time secluding herself from everyone else and feeling worthless. Then, going to the mountains changed all that. She remember the first time she slept in the same bed as Kazu. How, in his sleep, he ended up pulling her close to him and then rolling on top of her. She fell asleep that way, loving his warmth. The first time the kissed and how soft his lips had been. The first time she let him much too close and it turned into something far beyond what they could control. The first time their bare skin touched. It had been a playful time of chasing either other through the house because they were wiping icing from the cake they made on each other's face. They ended up in her room somehow and boom!

Tsubaki mentally shook that memory from her head as she waited to see if like, loved, or hated the gift she had bought for him.

"I Will Never..Ever..Forgive You..."

The horse smiled softly, regretting that she didn't get much time to be able to visit Ryokou as much as she used to. "I will. I promise. Things have been a little bit hectic lately. The dance will be starting shortly, would you like to go with me to see how the preparations are coming along?" She didn't want the girl to catch a cold sitting by the door, it was pretty chilly outside. Perhaps if she got more involved in the celebration, the girl would have some fun tonight. Perhaps even a fun three days if she became more involved in the family celebrations, there was no point starting a new year with sadness and worries. It was time for a change, she just wanted to see the girl smile more, just like she was now. If the girl didn't want to leave, that was fine, at least she tried. Unlike a lot of people, who wouldn't even bother asking Ryokou if she wanted to help out. Most people feared the poor girl and treated her like a fragile glass sculpture, but the horse knew better than that. She knew Ryokou was a strong girl, she just needed to push to get her started. Yet, she knew the girl was sickly, she just wanted the girl to live out the rest of her life with happiness and smiles, with no regrets. That's how one should pass on, she only wanted the best for her family leader, before it was too late.

Kazuhiko grinned when Tsubaki complimented him, he liked it, since he always made sure to compliment her. The thought ran through his mind at the fact that after this little meeting of theirs, he'd be vulnerable and alone. He hoped that he could get over the fact that he wouldn't be able to touch her soft skin, or kiss her smooth and lush lips every second. It'd be tough, he'd try to get by without wanting to kill people. He hoped that after the dance and the dinner, he could secretly meet up with Tsubaki somewhere off Sohma grounds, so they could have some kind of private celebration of their own. The cat couldn't attend the dinner after the dance, so he would make a huge buffet for just the two of them, and she could help cook if she wanted. That was if Ryokou would leave him alone long enough to escape, he hoped on every last hope he had. He just wanted to spend a few hours with her, if he had a choice in the matter, he'd rather just blow of the Sohma celebration and just elope with the beautiful cat before him. He saw her reaching into a pocket and his eyes blinked a few times as he watched her actions, then she pulled out a leather necklace with three shark teeth of various size on it. He smiled warmly at her as she announced a present, how ironic, he'd also gotten her one. He chuckled softly and rose his head, then pressed his forehead to her, smiling warmly to her. "It's fantastic, I love it Tsubaki.." He lowered his head so she could place it along his neck, he smiled warmly in reaction to the feeling on his neck. It'd be the first and only piece of jewelry he'd ever worn that was given to him by anyone, he'd cherish it forever.

Kazu pulled her close to him and moved her back a bit, pressing her back gently to the wall behind her. He leaned in and kissed her neck softly, his hands cascading down her sides and hen his hands slowly and smoothly wrapped along her hips. He reveled in the feeling of her body against his and his hands, it was amazing. He pulled away after a few seconds and reached his hand over to a chair that had his pants hanging on them, he dug into the pocket and pulled out a box. It looked like it could hold two things in it, but what it contained was a secret to him until she opened it. Inside were two things, two pieces of jewelry that were a matching set. One was a beautiful silver ring that was made of an unknown shiny silver metal that would never tarnish, it had a bright sapphire as the gem in the middle. It was a very beautiful gem, big and stood out. It reminded him of her eyes, but it had three diamonds on each side of ring itself that circled around the sapphire. Then the band had her name going down one side, then his name going down the other side. Inside the band where the finger went through, had 'Cat and Rat' engraved in gold. The other piece of jewelry was a Japanese hair comb decoration that had blue roses and soft purple sakura blossom decorations on it, with small sapphires and crystal gems embroidered on them. Ya, he'd spent a fortune, but he was pretty well off with his job. Besides, nothing costs too much to see Tsubaki smile. Her smiled was priceless, so the price of the gifts meant nothing to him. He smiled warmly to her. "These reminded me of you.." He whispered to her, holding the box out to her. His heart raced too, his cheeks turned a soft pink as he awaited anxiously for her reaction. He'd never bought anything for someone before, but this was exciting for him. He really hoped she liked them.

{So cute *Tear* I hope my description of the jewelry items was good enough haha}

Ryokou was starting to feel the slightest bit cold with her kimono falling off her shoulders every which way. She gave up on trying to find a size that actual fit her along time ago. It was almost impossible. Plus, it being this loose was much more comfortable for the sickly girl who spent most of her time sleeping and sitting anyway. Most of the time when he was home, she would have long, drawn out conversations about random things with the dragon. At one point she thought she was in love with him. But, then she realized her heart was too black to love when she pushed him outside and into the pond of her garden in rage. She looked up at the horse and nodded. The dragon helped her up slowly and she linked arms with both of them. "Let's all go." She said, referring to them three as they headed towards the preparations room.

Tsubaki waited anxiously then sighed in relief when he approved of the gift. When their foreheads touched, she inhaled his sent, breathed in his air. She felt every bit of love and warmth radiating from him, so much her heart wanted to hurt and she wanted to jump out of her skin and fly. She took the necklace and carefully hooking the object around Kazu's neck then pulled back to admire it. "It fits that handsome neck perfectly." She said, touching it, lifting it with one finger then letting it fall again his chest once again. She was bubbling inside because of his approval. Why they had fought and hated each other for so long made no sense to the cat now. It seemed extremely silly. Maybe it was because they had let the stories of the past and the curse control their hearts for way to long. Now they were finally free of that bondage and could finally think outside of that box and learned not only to get along but to love one another. A love that she had faith would never be broken.

Tsubaki let Kazu slowly and carefully direct her to the wall. Where he kissed her neck and she couldn't help but hum in the beautiful feeling of his lips on her bare skin. She could feel the massage of is hands resting on her hips. When they first started all this, she remembered hating it. It made her feel dirty and she constantly scolded him trying to do sexual and awkward things like this to her. Even after they had done it once already, she swore she didn't want to do it again. It made her feel violated and not to mention how sore her already fragile body had been. At the times, he left bruises on her because her skin had been so weak from malnutrition. Then, the second time he tried to get into her pants, she smacked him but Kazu still managed it. Even when she tried to keep her distant, she couldn't. He'd come up behind her rub her sides of just hold her for the longest of times. Even thinking about it made her blush.

Tsubaki watched his movements and carefully watched the box he brought from his pants pocket. She blinked and carefully took it into her hands, pondering on what could be inside before she actually opened the fancy little thing. The cat was shocked when she finally took the lid off. She covered her mouth with one hand for a minute or two before she took out the ring to study every inch of it. Then she did the same with the comb. All the beautiful engravings and stones made her started to cry. She covered her mouth with her hand again, a smile from ear to ear plastered on her face. "They're beautiful." She managed to choke out between little bursts for air. She threw her arms around him, almost knocking him to the ground with the force of it. "Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! So much... Kazu." She said, pulling away. The girl had probably never been so happy in her entire life. Her eyes sparkled and her heart beat fast. She would never, ever let anything happen to this ring or let anyone take it from her. Same went for the comb and she would make sure to take care of them for him and love them almost as much as loved the giver. "I love you so freaking much." She softly said, still crying in joy. For once, not crying from pain of loneliness. But because of how loved she was now to receive something this special.

The horse noticed the chill running through the girl and was happy that she finally decided to go join in with the preparations, perhaps it would put her in a better mood. She could only hope though, it was better than not offering at all. So when the girl nodded to her she reach down to help the girl up, her gentle blue eyes dazzling with happiness. She looked at the dragon and smiled as Ryokou linked arms with them and the horse and dragon led the girl into the banquet room, the chefs and other workers looked at the them smiles, greeting the Princess with sincere gestures. The horse smiled at them all and asked someone if they could use some help and some of the decorating team waved the three Sohma members down, asking if they could help decorate. The horse looked at Ryokou and tilted her head in question.."Would you like to decorate? I know back when you were younger, you loved to draw and decorate the rooms in the Sohma house, so how about it?" It was a simple, yet very important job. She knew that Ryokou would be very good at decorating, perhaps this would be the best new years banquet in history because of it. Maybe, just maybe.. Ryokou would enjoy herself and the people of the Sohma house could see Ryokou for the woman she really is inside, a very kind and happy girl.

Kazuhiko smile warmly at Tsubaki, feeling her hands all along his neck. He was glad that she was happy, it showed on her face as well as in her eyes. He loved to see her happy, it made him feel like he was doing something right for once. When she took ahold of the necklace, he felt shivers crawl up and down his spine, her cool hands touching his small exposed patch of warm skin. Sometimes he thought to himself why the past cat and rat reincarnations hated each other, was it because of the curse? The story behind them? He didn't know, but he was glad that him and her were the first to break the cycle, perhaps now, the future generations would learn to love one another and not hate. They didn't know if they were missing out on a possible soul mate or not, he knew he was missing out for years and now he finally figured it out after spending alone time in a cabin with Tsubaki, locked up and isolated for months. He couldn't believe it's already been a year since then, come to think of it, when they were locked up, it was shortly after the new year. How ironic, maybe something else that was good would happen for him and her again. Maybe they'll get sent away to a spa this time, he could only mentally laugh at himself for thinking like that. Yet, it gave him a devilish idea. A spa retreat.. Just the two of them.. Ya, he liked that idea. Away from the Princess, away from the drama's of Sohma family hatred toward Tsubaki. They both needed it, since they couldn't get along with other people or even themselves when they were away from each other for a long period of time, even half a day was too much for them to handle. So the spa it was, it was a temporary solution to a complicated problem.

He liked the way Tsubaki reacted to him kissing her, it only made him want to do it more. He wanted to see more of her reactions to him touching her, hear more sounds, see her when she's in the most vulnerable position and he could console her body, heart, and soul and wash away her sadness that him and the family had caused for years. He wanted to make everything okay, to swear to protect her, to make sure that nothing bad or sad ever happened to her again. It was his duty, as her Prince. To him, Tsubaki was a real Princess, the most real woman out there in the world, no one else could compare. She sure as hell wasn't a b*tch like Ryokou, ya Tsubaki was violent, but it didn't get to the point where he would have permanent scars on his back. They played together, it was fun to him. She was the only woman who could keep up with his skill in martial arts and still lose, but have a damn close chance at beating him, which is something else he loved about her. Her determined and fighting spirit, it always kept him on edge and made him excited to see her again. Every time they were together, it was like he learned something new. Every day was an adventure that he awaited eagerly, never a dull moment at all.

As he set his bright blue eyes on her beautiful blue one's, he watched her reaction in slow motion as she opened the box with hesitation. Once she set her eyes on the two pieces of matching rare jewels, his eyes softened in happiness as she started to cry with joy. He saw her smile and he bit on his bottom lip, biting back his own tears for her, he was so glad he could be the one and only to see her expression of raw happiness. Her first words sent a blow to his heart, making him a bit short of break, then she attacked him. He chuckled happily and caught onto her, holding her up and stabilizing himself so they didn't fall on the ground. She continued speaking her gratitude and his cheeks turned a bright pink, adding an adorable color mix to his slightly tanned skin. He was happy now, his night was so complete. He knew she'd love the gifts, but he never expected such a f*cking adorable reaction. When she said she loved him, his heart melted and placed his right hand onto the back of her head and moved her head to rest against his chest, his other hand wrapped around to her back and was placed on the small of her back. He held her close to him, feeling her body tremble with happiness and tears. He leaned his head down a bit, his silverish hair covering his closed eyes. "I love you too Tsubaki, never forget that" He whispered in a very soft, yet husky voice that showed his happiness and love all at once. Yes, he was proud of himself. He didn't want anyone else to see this side of Tsubaki, he didn't want anyone to challenge him over her heart. They'd all lose anyways, he worked too hard to get to this point, he wasn't going to give it up any time soon.

{Okay, so after your post, have the dragon leave Ryokou with the horse and the dragon will go into the back room where Kazu and Tsubaki are. He catches them hugging and you can have him react as such. Then I'll post and after that, you can have the Dragon say that the ceremony is starting and tells Tsubaki to head to the banquet room}

Ryokou watched the cooks go by. They each carried a sharp object or something that would become a yummy and delicate entree. She almost giggled at the man who threw down a giant fish and started cutting it up. It just looked so funny to her, yet she held in her giggle. That just didn't fit the princess's image now did it? All of a sudden, they were at the cakes and deserts. People decorating New Years cakes and make sweets galore. She was engulfed in her own thoughts about how perfect the cakes looked when she heard the horse's question. She really wanted to go see what was going on with Kazu but her heart tugged more at the idea that was presented to her. She wanted to feel like a kid for the third time tonight and preform the activity she used to love so dearly. She thought for another second before nodding. "I'd love do." She said, smiling up at the horse. "Please continue on to check on Kazu." Ryokou told the Dragon who nodded and headed onward.

Tsubaki wasn't too happy to not notice the blush that appeared on her lover's face. She giggled at him, blushing herself. "Looks like I embarrassed someone, no?" She teased, sticking her tongue out to Kazu while also winking. A moment later, she got serious again with a smile appearing on her face. "I love them. And you. I promise I will never forget our love. She softly pecked his lips before wrapping her arms around him and just basking in his scent. In his warmth.

Tsubaki could still go back to the times where the only thoughts she had for Kazu was how much she hated him. That the only memories she had for him were that they were fighting. Never once had they had a happy moment together before now. Even as children they didn't get along. She would never forget when Kazuhiko pushed her off the porch at the main estate and laughed while she cried like a baby. Then, a memory that always made her laugh, was the first they day at the cabin together. While the rat was down stairs cooking himself a tasty meal, she was upstairs with her stomach growling. Usually she could very easily ignore her hunger but the scent was too strong that one time. So, she went down stairs and quickly went through the refrigerator. She found rice and was about to go upstairs when Kazu had to make one little comment just to set her off. She ended up throwing her rice and chop sticks at his head then storming up the stairs where she jumped out the window and went to cool off in the windows for awhile.

Now, they only thought she had was on Kazu. They made her smile, laugh, and feel warm inside. His words constantly swam through her pretty, little head. A picture of him and her sat and her room, under her pillow. She would always pull it out and spend hours looking had his face that seemed so perfect. Then, she would picture his different faces. His angry one, his happy one, his cocky one, his loving one, his hungry face. Everything about him seemed so perfect now. Slowly, all the bad memories were being replaced with good ones. Though, there still were fights. They still fought and she still lost every single time. Most of the time they are playful little fights but sometimes, just sometimes, they are serious again. Their lives aren't perfect together and they had lovers' spats. But that was all part of being in a relationship. Tsubaki knew deep down that they were both learning that. They were both learning each others flaws and weaknesses. They were learning the things each other loved and how to make one another happy. It was all part of the little game called boyfriend and girlfriend.

The pink haired kitty just wanted to stay right there the rest of her life. In his arms. Freeze time where they could go anywhere and do anything without getting caught. Where they could be free to love each other and Ryokou not interfere. This one thing in her life, she refused to let the head of the family take... The sickly girl had taken everything else happy from her but not this time. Kazu would probably be the only one to understand how bad she wanted to just tell everyone. How much she wished she could hug on him and flirt with him in front of their family without having to worry who would tell on them or how obvious the family would make it to where Ryokou could find out. At the thought, she gripped Kazu tighter as if someone were there trying to take him away from her. She refused to let him go now that she had him.

The horse looked at Ryokou and smiled warmly, she was so happy the girl agreed to decorate. It's been a while since she saw the girl smile openly in front of people, the other girl's saw it and smiled too, seeing the princess smile for the first time. They relaxed a bit, seeing the brighter side of the princess. "You're doing so well Lady Ryokou" She complimented the girl as she looked upon the craft the girl had started on, it did indeed look good. The other girls crowded around and smiled as they complimented Ryokou about her work, the horse just smiled.

Kazuhiko looked at Ryokou as she blushed and smiled warmly, her voice was like music in his ears. Ya, he was embarrassed, but it only because her previous reaction to his gifts made him feel good. Like he succeeded in something that he tried for, unlike some of his old attempts in life. He always felt like anything he tried at, he never did good at. When she kissed his lips, he closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around her small body, leaning down to consume her into his strong and bigger frame. He took in her scent and a smile traced his lips, it brought back so many memories. Many uncomfortable and mean moments on his part, but he always felt bad when he had to go back and put up with Ryokou. He felt the pain Tsubaki felt, when he was being beaten by the woman he was taught to cherish and love with his whole heart. His robes fell off his shoulders and revealed his beautiful and perfect skin, but it was lined with many scars, even scars upon scars. His chest area and his back and shoulders were covered in them, but he continued to hold Tsubaki. She'd seen the scars and he still remembered her first reaction to seeing them for the first time. It still made him smile to this day, even though it was a year ago.

She looked at him as he took off shirt from a food fight they had and was preparing for a shower, she spotted the many scars and her eyes grew wide with fear and anguish. Kazu had gotten self conscious and started to put back on his shirt, but she stopped him and threw the shirt across the room. She touched his chest slowly, making him flinch with a natural reaction to being touched on his skin. She circled around him and ran her fingers along each of his scars with emotion welling up in her eyes, as if she never knew how badly he was always beaten by the princess. Yes, he was beaten badly by her, no one knew the real depth of it except the dragon, who always patched him up. Ryokou never knew the real damage she put on Kazu's skin, but it showed. Clearly as day, it was bad. Deep scars, many of them. Even thinking about it, made him press her back to the wall again and he just buried his face in her neck and held onto her protectively. She made him feel safe, since she was the only one besides the dragon who ever saw his scars and didn't look at him differently because of them. His blue eyes slowly opened and he looked at the wall, his lips leaning down more and kissed her on the neck softly. He didn't want to ever let her go. He felt safe now, calm.

{Sorry it's short, I was in a bit of a hurry. Okay, bring the dragon in now and use your imagination to how he would react to this moment. Sorry about the late post, I came down with the flu}

Ryokou smiled at the horse. "Thank you." She told her all the while trying not to get angered that her personal space was being completely over taken by everyone who was watching it. It was amazing how steady the girls hands were despite how weak she really is. Now, she wasn't completely steady but was enough to be able to do this.

Tsubaki watched Kazu's sleeve fell off of his shoulder. Seeing the scars, made her frown the slightest bit. She wanted to trace them and somehow remove them with her fingers. Her fingers that weren't so pale or extremely too thin anymore. But they were actually soft and tinted a peach color. Soon enough, she felt the cool wall on her heated back. Kazuhiko made her so warm, made her feel so welcome. "Kazu..." His name floated through her mind as his grip got tighter. It got more protective. She felt his his on her skin and it made her smile. This reminded her of so many things. Especially from the cottage but more so the first day they came back. In the car she had to resist the urge to sit on his lap or cuddle into his side. When they got home, they first went separate ways and so she couldn't help it and walked from the dog's house to Kazu house that he shared with the horse. She walked right in, just like she usually did anyway. It was nothing new. So the woman didn't think anything of it. The timing had been perfect because the horse was leaving for the store as Tsubaki was walking it to see Kazu. Once she knew it was safe she ran to the rat's room. It was almost like he knew she was coming because the minute she paused in front of his door, he opened it. The cat's face had turned hot and red and the rat easily threw her right over his shoulder, carrying her into his room and sitting her on his bed. And you probably think that they did naughty things while the horse was out. In the end they just lied there for hours, tangled up in each other, speaking words only once so often. It was like they didn't want to break the moment or lose each other. Now, the only difference was that he was much strong, more matured and Tsubaki was healthier. Tsubaki closed her eyed and wrapped her arms tighter around his neck, the little box still in her hand.

The moment was perfect but the dragon walked through the door a moment later. Tsubaki opened her eyes in a flash to see who had entered, praying to God that it was Ryokou. That would've been the end of both of them. Her eyes settled on the Dragon and she was a little relived but he just stood there. Looking at the tangled web that was the cat and rat, embracing. A sight that probably shocked him. Honestly, the girl didn't know what to do. "Guess the cat's out of the bag... And so is the rat..." She thought in her head, pink barely grazing her cheeks.

The dragon didn't feel anything but confusion. He didn't know what was going on and this was quiet an unsightly thing for him to see. To him, they were still rivals. They hated each other still in his eyes. He hadn't really been around them in the past year like the horse had. The horse had probably caught on a little by now. But the dragon was clueless. Not knowing what to do exactly, he cleared his throat with a cough. "Kazuhiko, the dance it about to begin. I think you should get finished getting ready. Tsubaki you should head over to the banquet room, the ceremony is about to begin."

Tsubaki really didn't want to leave Kazu. Now started the long, painful night of not being able to touch him or kiss his lips playfully every so often. Now started his bad attitude again. The cat wouldn't lie, the rat's attitude was pretty crappy when he wasn't with her it seemed. She constantly teased him about it. She squeezed him one more time and snuck a quick kiss on his cheek before she freed herself and fled out the door, his present hugged to the girl's chest. She headed over to the banquet hall, arriving just in time to be greeted by some of her family members. She didn't see Ryokou anywhere and that kind of worried her deep down... Something didn't quiet settle right in her stomach about the night ahead of them.

Kazuhiko was really into her, he continued to kiss her neck and hold her. His body warming up instantly upon the contact between them, ya, he was getting turned on. It was only natural for a guy his age and he was healthy, so yes, an attractive woman before him that he loved, it was natural. His bright blue eyes opened and he watched her body tense up every time he kissed her neck, his hands soared up her body, feeling each lovely curve underneath her dress and even though he was starving for her, he seemed to control himself and feel her slowly. Savoring every last bit of her body and her scent, he whispered sweet nothings into her ear slowly, drawling out each word and then kissed the side of her neck in the most sensitive spot he knew she had. He just wanted to dive into her alluring body, take everything away from her and leave her feeling amazing. He couldn't remember how long it'd been since he felt her, probably too long if his body was tensing up and forcing itself to be controlled. She was more beautiful now that she was healthy, she looked beautiful. They were each other's first, he wanted to be her last. He never wanted this to end, this room was big enough for the both of them to make love, she wanted him to right? He could feel the small shivers running down her body as he kissed her lips and escaladed it into an intense make out session. She tasted down right sweet, better than any kind of candy.. And he loved candy.

His hands run up her arms and to her shoulders, about to take off her dress, when the door opened. He looked over from the corner of his eyes and glanced at who it was, the dragon. He continued to embrace Tsubaki, not caring what the dragon would say from here on, it didn't matter to him who saw, as long as it wasn't Ryokou, he was good. He didn't want to cause Tsubaki any troubles, and knowing Ryokou, it would be nothing but trouble. He released Tsubaki and she kissed his cheek and hurried off, his blue eyes followed her until she disappeared from his sight. He then turned his deadly blue eyes to the dragon, holding hostility and anger in his eyes. It was like an instant complete transformation, he went from loving, to someone that had a bad attitude problem. His face looked blank and stoic and his air had changed completely, he was now a force to be reckoned with and he didn't put up with no bullsh*t now. "Now that you've ruined my night.. Will you please get the f*ck out of my face so I can finish getting ready" It wasn't a question, it was a command, a very straightforward and deadly one. He wasn't happy now.

{I'll try}

The dragon didn't really know how to feel. When he realized who the girl was, he was shocked. He watched the cat retreat from the room quickly when the dragon told her to do. Suddenly, Kazu snapped at him, giving him the coldest look he had ever seen from the rat ever. He got the hint very quickly though and nodded. "Please, the dance starts in 10 minutes. Be on time." He said the one last thing and shut the door behind him as he left the room. He walked back to the horse and lacy Ryokou. "Is he ready?" The princess asked without looking from the cake. She asked the question just as she started putting on the finish touches on the cake she was decorating. She put down the decorator and turned around slowly. "Yes, he is finishing up and he will be done in time. The dragon replied which made Ryokou smile. "Then let's go await. And I trust you remember our plans for later, correct?" The black haired girl asked and received an "Of course" in response from the dragon as the horse and him lead her back to the room with her entire family. She made eye contact with the cat, grinning at her mischievously before going to sit down in the place she would watch the dance from until it was her time to step in. She was excited about tonight but held it in so no one suspected anything at all from her. Everyone in the room but the dragon and princess thought tonight was going to be a regular yearly dance. Ryokou loved that they were so clueless to her plans. She couldn't wait to see Kazu's reaction.

Tsubaki watched the princess walked in and tried to look away quickly. But she wasn't quick enough and caught the girl's look. She turned away from her when she sat down and resumed talking to her family once again. Every since the cat and rat came back from being secluded in the mountains together, the cat had gotten along with her family so much better. They actually talk to her and want to do things with her because she doesn't go off or act cold. Tsubaki was now healthy and truly strong for once in her life. She could laugh and smile and had good relations with her family members. And the princess let her come to the banquet this year. Which, even if Tsubaki didn't admit it, warmed her heart that Ryokou had noticed her change too.

Tsubaki was here for more than Kazu. She was here to spend time with her family as well and show that she cared. But she was excited to watch her love dance and knew that they would spend more time together tonight. She just prayed he was good till then so he didn't start anything with Ryokou. She knew how his temper was with Tsubaki wasn't at his smile. Maybe just seeing her could keep him calm enough but the Lord on high only know what the night at in store for everyone... Tsubaki still had that bad feeling in her stomach.

Kazuhiko narrowed at his image in the mirror and started to straighten himself up, he applied the makeup that was smudged on his face from being too passionate with Tsubaki. He closed one of his eyes and aligned his eye with eyeliner and did the same with the other, he then put on his shoes and opened the door. The women outside of the door squealed with excitement, They compliment on how amazing he looked, but he ignored them. The only thing he was looking forward to, was looking at Tsubaki, who would shine amongst everyone. He walked in front of the women, who were holding onto the back of his kimono and other skirts. His hair jingled with bells and swayed with flowers as he walked, taking his time. The music started slowly with the long introduction in the song, his bright blue eyes lined with makeup dazzled as he entered the banquet hall. People gasped in awe, whispers cascading amongst the crowd, saying how he was the most beautiful zodiac in all of history. Word would get around and Tsubaki and Ryokou would hear it, but also another line. People said that his very appearance would make anyone fall in love with him, which many girls had hearts in their eyes as it was, young and old.

He walked in the center of the cleared dance floor and took his place, bowing to everyone with one fluid motion. His bright blue eyes closed and he began his dance, taking each perfect step. His body was moving beautifully with the music, as if he lived and breathed dancing. He had a natural talent with it, since he does it every so often, growing up, he'd always been good at dancing. In fact, he'd always outshined every zodiac member with everything he did. He was a natural, anyone could see it. People made sounds of awe, admiring the way he lifted the zodiac story and played out everything with emotion. Yet, his face was stoic and straight. To anyone, he looked passionate. But to people who actually knew him.. They could tell he wasn't happy one bit, no at all. He turned his arms for a spin, his blue eyes opened suddenly, making women coo in excitement. Yet, his eyes locked with Tsubaki's and he turned with passion. Every time he danced or spun, he now looked at the woman of his dreams, which only made his dance more passionate and dramatic.

Ryokou grinned has she heard the music starting. She was just in time and she looked around at all her family. Now, her blood was pumping and she thought she was going to jump out of her skin in excitement. At excitement for the end of the dance. To do something never seen. The dragon glanced down at her and knew exactly what was going through her head. He couldn't help but smile but soon went straight faced again as he remember what he had saw in the changing room. He could console in the horse later because he didn't know what to think or feel. It did seem weird that Tsubaki seemed so much better after coming down from the mountains... The dragon just never knew why. Now he was troubled and it was written all over his face. He was glad that Ryokou was paying attention to Kazu that she didn't notice. He wasn't even sure if he was going to mention anything to princess.

To Ryokou and the rest of the room the dance seemed so much for dramatic, so much more alluring and elegant than ever before. It even started to draw the Princess in at some point and he couldn't pay attention to anything else as the dance hit its climax. She pulled the dragon down and whispered, "Be ready." To him and he nodded, standing back up and the princess turning her attention back to Kazu the dance came to an end. She grinned, she couldn't wait to see his face. When he stopped, the dragon walked out and stopped him from leaving. "Now. The dance is not done. Lady Ryokou is going to dance at a slower pace with Kazuhiko." He announced and everyone looked confused and some gasped came from the crowd. The horse slowly look at Kazu just as Ryokou did, just to see his reaction. The horse slowly helped the girl up as she waited for the reaction she wanted to desperately see from the boy.

Tsubaki smiled as she saw her love coming out and starting his dance. Kazu seemed so elegant and she was drawn in by his movements. She wanted to touch him, feel his body heat but she had to hold herself back. But she did let her smile and the smile got bigger and bigger every time they locked eyes. Which seemed like a lot to her but that was perfectly okay. She could still feel the heat of his breath and the coolness of his lips on her neck. She could feel his strong, steady hands on her hips and blushed at the thought of what would've happened if the dragon had not interupted. Then, that just put a bad, bad feeling in her stomach as she glanced over at him, the horse, and the princess. Oh man, Tsubaki had never seen the dragon so troubled in her entire life. Now she was scared... "Please, don't say anything, dragon. Please..." She thought as she looked at Kazu and smiled once again. She couldn't help but feel warm inside every time she looked at him. It was like he made all her problems melt away.

Her heart sank at the dragon's words. "What...?" Even if it was Lady Ryokou... How could the cat stand by and watching him dance with another girl? When it should be the pink hair cat that he held, that he even put his hand on. A new found jealousy rose up from the pit of her stomach and up to her heart and facial expression. She tried to hide it. The emotion that showed the most was despair and confusion. What was this? Why did this little thing impact her so much? So, Tsubaki closely watched Kazu...To see what he would do.

Kazuhiko was ready to leave the area as his music ended and he finished off his dance, he was done. Yet, for some reason, a sick feeling over came his stomach and he felt like something was going to go wrong right now. He scanned the audience and his eyes landed back on Tsubaki, she didn't look so good, what was going on? He turned his attention to the dragon as he came out of his final pose and set his eyes hard on the man as he spoke, a slower dance? What? There were so many things running through his mind right now that one thing slipped into another thought and he started thinking about seven different things at once, his mind started to spin and he almost felt like he was going to explode. Yet, the only reaction that was formed on his face was a look of morbid disgust and hatred that was pointed directly at the Dragon and Ryokou.."F*ck that" He stated with a monotone voice that held no emotion whatsoever, he was not happy at all right now. His blue eyes turned three shades darker and his eyes narrowed a great deal, now, Tsubaki was going to witness the side of him he never wanted to show her. This was his attitude when he was away from her, but ten fold, maybe more. He was about ready to punch someone in the face, his beautifully delicate hands formed into fists that held raw power and his face showed how angry he really was. He wasn't about to take the Sohma family crap, even if she was the supposed God, she was no God to him. She was nothing but cruel to him growing up, so he wanted nothing to do with her anymore.

He looked at Ryokou now with the most cruel death glare anyone could ever muster in her presence, many people looked at him in an incredulous way. They would never expect someone of the Zodiac to look at their God like Kazu was right now. He stared her down and brought out his hands from his long kimono sleeves and made an 'X' symbol with his index fingers, he closed one blue eye and looked at her so it seemed like her entire body was gone from his sight. "I want you to give me one very good reason for me to even consider ever touching that so-called woman" He mumbled calmly, sending many people into a gasping scene. The other zodiac members looked at him like he was some kind of hero, but they were really shocked that he was even speaking this way to Ryokou. He was so calm about it and his expressions were calm and not even caring about what he was saying. It was shocking to many people, they never expected God's favorite to rebel and deny everything that was happening. Yet, they didn't understand the depth of his hatred, they would one day. When he exposed Ryokou for the monster she was. What was Tsubaki thinking of the way he was speaking and acting right now? Since it was her first time ever seeing him like this in person.

{It's okay lol}

Ryokou liked his reaction until the words left his mouth... The horse frowned after being shocked. She looked down at Ryokou, hoping that what her reply to Kazu wasn't too awful or anything. The motherly horse had never seen the rat get this mad ever. She had seen him really bad but this, it was almost unspeakable the amount of anger that was written across his face. Gasped radiated around the room at the two simple words. The princess's eyebrows start to knit together in age. Her eyes grew dark too but she wasn't just about to let the one thing she wanted to do tonight slipped out of her grasp. She jerked her arm from the horse who tried to stop but she slapped her hand away quickly. A cut barely formed because of her nails. Her nails really needed to be clipped. But that was the least of her worried right now as she stormed over towards the rebellious rat.

"I'll give you da*n good reason." It was rare for the girl to let out a curse word. So, it must mean that she was really ticked off at what he had said. She grabbed his face with her hand, slowly digging her fingers nails in. Tsubaki tried to lung forward to make her stop but the dragon walked over to her, held her arms, and made her stop. The cat prayed that the princess wouldn't harm Kazu. Ryokou didn't even notice the worry from the cat. If she had it would've seemed very strange to her but she was too focused on the rat right now. She brought him down to her eye level. "You will do it because I'm the head of her family." The truth was that the black haired girl believe in the actual God that was up in the heaven's so she never called her herself the 'god' of their family and she hated when she family did it. But they still called her that because she never told them her beliefs. "You will do it because I could very much send you back to the hell hole that was your child hood. And you don't want that do we?" As she finished up her threat she gave him an evil smile. A haunting smile that could give any small child nightmares for days. A couple of the member's of the zodiac took the two younger ones to another room so they wouldn't see what their princess may do to the poor rat. "Now, why don't you just dance with little ole me for a few minutes. See it as my dying wish." Her voice was filled with sweet poison. She waited for the reply of rat as her nails dug deeper every moment.

Tsubaki looked in horror at the scene that was unfolding before her. She was almost in tears and how Kazu was acting... Was this how he really acted towards other people when she wasn't around? Did the cat really calm the rat down that much since they had become lover's up in the mountain? She was kind of scared of how he was acting. She had never seen him like this, even when they were enemies. He never showed this much hatred and cruelty towards her. Now, she was seeing his true colors of how he was without her. If it weren't for the dragon she would had ran out to stop Ryokou. Which would probably blow their cover and cause so many other problems. And after what the dragon witnessed in the changing room she wouldn't be surprised if he figured it out. Now, the feelings of Kazu's warm hands were going cold and her heart was sinking. She didn't know what to thinking and the horrible feeling from earlier just deepened so much.

Kazuhiko groaned inwardly when the girl started speaking, to be honest, her voice was more annoying than anything. Now that he was older than her and healthier than her and stronger than her, he could easily just ignore her and push her away. He just sighed when she walked up to him and placed her fingernails in his face, he just gave her a blank look. His hatred ran so deep and so thorough in his blood that he didn't react, when he usually would have when he was younger. He listened to what she had to say, her voice giving him more and more of a headache. He sighed again when she finished speaking, he finally rose up his hand and easily fit each of her small wrists in one of his hands. He looked her deep in her eyes with his own while he easily forced the girl's hands down to her waist level, his eyes finally revealed the coldest hatred he felt towards her. Would she realize or care? Who knows. Right now, he didn't care if he was hurting her or not. He wished she would just disappear from his life, it would make everyone happier.. Especially him. He never even hated Tsubaki this much before, it was very evident that he hated this so-called woman with all of his being. Everyone's hatred combined in one wasn't enough to match up to his hatred, no.. Not even Ryokou's hatred of her own life, his was more. "Lemme tell you something you disgusting excuse for a family leader.." He mumbled darkly, glaring at her with cruel intentions. If anyone else heard him, he didn't care. He wanted to kill her, his fear of her as a child had broiled into something very strong and it wasn't more fear.. It was a raw despise towards the one person he viewed as an abomination. "You can crawl into a corner and die for all I care, you will get what you deserve in time.. Everything you've put me and everyone else through since you were birthed from your mother.. Will come back at you ten fold. I hope.." He leaned in to her ear and whispered cruel words.."You feel the pain I and everyone else feels every day you go on living.. I.. Will never.. EVER.. Forgive you" He stated into her ear, then pushed her away from him. If people thought he was going to let her fall away, that was different. He latched onto her hand at the last moment as she unraveled from his grasp, then he curled her into his body as he spun her in a dance-like motion. Then he bent her gracefully so she kind of laid in mid air, one of his hands was pressed against the small of her back. He was giving her the dance she asked for, but on his terms. He looked down at her, his face still holding hatred. "There's your dance.. Now f*ck off.." He mumbled, then lifted her up and walked away from her, ignoring everyone that was horrified but kind of entranced.

Little did Kazu know, the small and short dance he performed with the Princess was actually very passionate and beautiful. The hatred that the dance itself displayed was actually quite entrancing, the way they danced in slow motion and the hidden passion behind it left everyone in awe. He handled her surprisingly delicate and gentle, holding her strongly in his arms and hands. His dance, although hate-filled, was enough to take any woman's breath away. It was sudden and not expected from him, especially the way he left her thinking about it.. The way he just left and didn't say much of anything else, left him and his intentions shrouded in mystery. Kazu walked past everyone and went straight back to the dressing room, people slowly came out of their trance and started to move tables and set food on them while happy New Year's music played around the background. They all tried to pass the scene they just witnessed, it was hard though. That was unlike anything they've ever seen before. Kazu just stripped his clothing off, tore the decorations in his hair off and just stood there in his black jeans and nothing else. He sat down on the couch in the room and repetitively punched the wall beside him, until his knuckles started bleeding. The scars all over his body shown more than before, his breathing was heavy and ragged, his body glistened with sweat.. He was really startled and angry, he feared anyone coming near him right now..

{WOW!}

Ryokou hated how Kazu acted like he didn't care. It seemed like everything she was saying was going in one ear and out the other. She hoped that one question bugged him. Got to him. Made him obey like the good little boy he should be. Her one thing she wanted went horribly out the door.She bit her lip when he put both of her wrists in one hand. It was crushed and ground into the very floor they were standing on right now. Her eyes grew wide and shock and she didn't even know how to really respond. No one had ever say such things to her, ever rebel against her so harshly in her life. Ever. It hurt, she was shocked, she didn't know what to do or how to feel about him doing this. Her little body start shaking violently at his words. She wanted to slap him and she was about to raise her hand to do. She was about to make sure he never saw again and that he had a couple more scars to add to his collection. The next thing she knew though Kazu pushed her back then grabbed her roughly, he brought her back and was spinning her around. He was moving her in ways that confused, that felt weird. She could feel his hands on her the small of back. She could feel him and the hate that went through the dance. Even if it entranced others, it made her scared. Ryokou was starting to feel dizzy and the shaking was getting worse. When the dance ended and he told her to back off and lifted her up again, she feel straight back down. Her legs wobbled and her knees buckled. "Ryokou!" The horse gasped the girl's name and the dragon let go of Tsubaki, picking the small and sick girl up. Her head was spinning and her eyes were shut tightly. Her heart was beating a million miles an hour. One little, lone tears ran from her left eye and just that one fell. "Please.. Take me to my room for a little bit. I feel sick." The dragon nodded at the girl's small, quiet voice. He took her to her dark room, slowly laying her on her bed. She was on her side and she slowly rolled onto her stomach, tucking her arms underneath her. "Leave" She suddenly barked at the dragon who left quickly, shutting the door to leave the girl to recover on her own.

Ryokou was still confused and many emotions fuzzy around her and mixed together. She looked at the darkness that was against the wall of her room. It was starting to slowly hurt inside. Her stomach was turning and she like she was going to be sick and throw up. The dance made her dizzy and her body ache. She couldn't move right in the fear she would pass out from a migraine or throwing up. "Idiot... You just wait... I'll crush the one thing you frickin' love the most right in front of your eyes."

Tsubaki heard what Kazu was spitting out at Ryokou. It was awful and the dragon finally let go of her one arm and she covered her mouth with one hand. It was true but she could tell that there were people in the room that did love Ryokou. Whether it be like a daughter or sister. The horse loved the princess like the daughter she never had and the dragon cared for her like a brother would a sister. But the majority of the room either hated her or just put up with her most of the time, so they didn't necessarily hate or love her. Tsubaki still resented her what she had done over the years but was slowly forgiving her micro piece by micro piece. She watched Kazu retreat from the room then the dragon catch and carry Ryokou off. Tsubaki's eye brows went together then she sighed, relaxing and give it a few minutes. The cat helped set out some food then retreat from the crowd like a ninja to go look for her love. She knew that sometimes he retreated to unexpected places. So on her way to the changing room she looked in a few more places just in case. When she didn't see her handsome rat anywhere she knew exactly where he had went.

So slowly, she approached the door. Tsubaki put her hand on it and slowly slid it open, quietly and slowly. She looked around and saw the clothes he was just wearing on the floor. Then she finally spotted him,shirtless, on the couch. So, she stepped in slowly, shutting the sliding door behind her and taking it one step at a time to Kazu. "Love." She breathed, flinching a bit at the sight of all of his scars. Even though she saw him shirtless a lot the scars still bugged her deeply. They made her sad and wonder about all the pain he suffered through. Just like she did. Just a little worse sometimes. She knelled down in front of him, grabbing his hands in a loving manner. "Please look at me. Calm down." She cooed in a caring voice. A voice that was specially used for Kazu. She just wanted to get over the fear she had after seeing Kazu for how he really was when they weren't together. That bugged her a little. Do he talk like that to caring horse? Now she was kind of scared to leave his side... So she got over the fear of his attitude and tried to get him to calm down. Get him to relax. She just hoped her presence worked its magic like it always did with him. Deep in the back of Tsubaki's mind, she thought the rat went a tad to far with the dance. But that was probably because it made her jealous to see that. To see him touching someone else and twirling them around... Mentally, the cat shook it off to focus on calming Kazu down. He still looked completely infuriated.
