I would post my demo, but I just shaved my nails off so they're not long and pretty right now lol.

Mhmm!

Someone recommended the brand of nail polish called "Sinful Colors" and I love the colors but I got a bottle and it is already chipping when I just put it in last night, where as the pure Ice I has from Walmart is still sticking like glue.... Makes me all saaad.

Number 2 and Black crackle.


Number 2 for base color plus number 7 for glitter and then crackle.


Number 3 and crackle.


Number 3 as base, then 5 for giltter then crackle.

Nail polish can be fun. How often do you apply it to your nails? I feel like if you do it too much it isn't good for them...right? I like the blue/black one though =D

Did mine up pink for New Years Eve.




Also to get the excess polish off your hands you can carefully go around with nail polish remover. Or take a hot shower and peel it off your hands. ^.^

I apply like once a week normally but have been doing it waaay to often this last week. xD

but I have been moisturizing my finger tips and cuticles between each go so... it's not been tooooooo bad.

Pretty pink you got there.

As for removal I have been using an ancient eyeliner brush which is working good except my remover is too weak. >.<

I usually like dump the nail polish remover on a paper towel and rub the crap out of my nails. xD

I use a cotton pad for full nail removal but I meant for the clean up removal I use the brush. xP

Too many coats I know ; ~;

And I need a good clear base coat. :C

It's not really 'TOO MANY COATS' as it is, too many coats for the process.
It just looks kind of clumpy, and since you have pretty short nails clumpy polish can make your fingers look shorter and a little pudgy.

I would sacrifice the base coat, do two color coats, one crackle, and then a top coat. Being sure to have at least a 10 minute dry time in between, because that many coats (especially since you live in the FROZEN WASTELAND OF THE NORTHWEST. No offense, it's beautiful up there, but dat cold gonk ) can cause the polish to clump no matter how careful you are or how much dry time you have.

THE ELEMENTS MATTER.
BUT. You're lines are very straight, which is good.
Do you cut your cuticles? c:

I do not cut them but I do tend to pick at them... (actually ordered a cuticle remover thing this month for hopefully making them prettier)

All I do with my nails so far is polish too often. xD
