In the time Mengele spent on falling asleep, Rieux went to the hallway where the shared restroom was and undressed himself. He grimaced as he ran a hand through his hair, his fingers getting caught by the alcohol that had become sticky with dryness. He was overdue for a shower now.
As he stood under the heated rain, Rieux tried to ignore the fact that Mengele was sleeping in the room right next here. How would this affect their business relationship? Part of him hoped they would have a stronger bond, perhaps the part of him that wasn't used to having friends, whereas another part just wanted this to be over already.

let's take you home
halfway through the night, the doctor stumbled out of bed to vomit into the toilet.... only to run into the wall. "where the hell is the damned door?!? " he grumbled, only to vomit on the floor.

Rieux ran his wet fingers through his hair and sighed in content as he felt the water wash off the alcohol - it had taken quite a while to do so. He turned and turned off the water, he only had so much. It was as the hiss of the bath turned to a consistent drip that he heard the thud against the wall. The doctor's eyes widened in surprise. What was that? A burglar?
"Where the hell is the damned door?!?"
Rieux's eyes slowly narrowed. Ah yes, Mengele. He had forgotten all about him. "Hang on, si-" The doctor's words were caught in his mouth when he heard the sound of vomit nearby. He stayed standing in his tub with a look of absolute disbelief on his face for a minute. Oh please God no, he silently prayed and, after hastily wrapping a towel around his waist, opened the door. "Sir, are you okay?" he asked just in time to step into something wet and warm. The doctor closed his eyes instantly and grimaced deeply. Please God... no. Hesitantly opening his eyes, Dr. Rieux looked down and made a light gagging noise at the sight of vomit at his feet.

the man gave a small moan, holding his stomach. he felt another wave of illness coming onto him.

Hearing the moan, Rieux slowly turned his head and glared at Mengele. Oh the things he wanted to yell at that drunkard! But at the sight of him holding his stomach, the younger's face paled. "No, not again." he whispered and quickly put his free hand - one busily holding his towel in place - on Mengele's back and steered him towards the toilet. "I hope you realize that you'll be cleaning this tomorrow." he grunted as he helped the man aim.

the doctor let out a moan and vomited into the porcelain throne, several times. "don't count on..." he started, only to vomit again.

As the elder vomited into the toilet, Bernard went to his small kitchen and took out a cabinet he held medicine for for when he needed it, but it seemed like its first use would be for another patient. He put a few chemicals together and added some water before returning to his superior. "When you're done, drink this then call me back." he said and hastily retreated to his room. Although he didn't like the idea of leaving a drunk and sick Mengele in his restroom, he also didn't like being around him naked, so getting his clothes out was an ideal choice.

nodding, Mengele drank it down quickly and sighed, only to see the shower. maybe I should take one....? he thought to himself as he stood up on wobbly legs. Nodding to himself, he turned the water back on and started to strip, too drunk to care that this wasnt his house. He needed to get the smell of beer and vomit off of himself.

While changing, Bernard looked at himself through the mirror. He was fit for his age, no army muscles, but a thin outline of such. His mahogany hair was long enough to take his neck, but nothing longer than his shoulders; and a serious expression stayed plastered on his face, brown eyes piercing. With a sigh, he pulled on boxers and slipped a large white shirt over himself, his sleeping attire. Mmm, the thought of sleep was very nice right now. The doctor watching himself smile dreamily and was just about to yawn when he heard his shower roar to life. What-?
Running to the restroom - and nearly tripping on the vomit - Dr. Rieux pushed open the door to see what on earth Mengele was doing. He quickly regretted it. Bernard had his mouth open to yell at his boss to stop, but his words got caught in his throat at the sight of him naked. Slowly, like a thermometer, his face grew red until he finally regained control of his bodily functions. "D-Dr. Mengele!" he stammered and shut the door tight behind him, keeping his back to the now closed bathroom and trying to get the image of Mengele naked out of his head. "P-Please redress and go back to bed!"

but the doctor didnt hear him, the roar of the water too loud for Rieux's voice to be heard over it. Having a habit of cleaning himself quickly, Mengele did the same here, only to frown once more. "Where the hell is the damned soap?" He grunted, getting angry as a head ache started in.

Hearing the comment about soap as the reply, Bernard sighed. "Figures the old man wouldn't hear me." he grumbled under his breath and began walking to the kitchen. This was getting to be more like babysitting a brat than watching over a friend, he thought as he put a bucket under the sink. He waited for the water to fill up before heaving the bucket and a strip of cloth with him to the ground. If Josef's anything like me, he thought as he got down on his knees, a grimace on his face as he readied himself to clean the floors. Then I should have this cleaned by the time he's done.

finally finding the soap on the floor of the tub, the doctor stumbled a few times to get to it, only to slip and fall. His head was ringing and his left foot was in agony, but hey.... At least he got the soap. Smiling, the drunk started to scrub his body, trying to stand up only to curse loudly as the pain in his left foot increase, not aware that it was swelling.

"I'd damn well better get a raise for this." Bernard grumbled under his breath, nearly done with the floor when he heard a loud thud from inside the bathroom. He instantly perked up and got to his feet. "Sir?" he asked and knocked on the door. "Sir, are you all right?" Hearing Mengele curse, Bernard decided to take matters into his own hands and, although his traumatized mind protested, he opened the door and stepped in. In a somewhat fortunate way, it wasn't his boss' nude body that caught his eye first, but - "You're bleeding." Rieux murmured and stared at the reddening water.

joseph looked up and blinked before looking back at the water. "Hmmm..... Guess so...." He nodded, only to look back at his foot. "I thi k that has something to do with it..." He sighed; pointing to he swollen foot.

Bernard gave him a look of disbelief. How could he be so nonchalant about it? His foot was twice as big now! "Well don't keep showering!" he said and strode over to turn it off. "We need ice! Here, I'll help you to your bed." Bracing himself for protests, the young doctor put his superior's arm over his shoulder and, just like at the pub, half-dragged him towards the bedroom. Great, he thought. Not only do I waste my first use on the first-aid kit on him, but my water bill will be huge.
