The destination to which the man would lead his seen and unseen entourage was a large, long abandoned warehouse that Luke knew too well; the boy paused at the dilapidated building's gaping entrance, unwilling to enter. He had confronted the memories of that place again and again, but he had never forced himself to return. He was being forced now, though, as the stranger wouldn't allow him to linger for long.

The dark warehouse was rife with people, men and women scattered around the shadows watching like animals as Luke and Dove were herded in. The man called out, "Hey, how about we restrain these guys?" and someone brought forth a rope to tie their wrists. Someone inquired, "What about the other guy?" to which the stranger replied, "Dunno, but we paraded around a bit, so he might show up."

Luke began to doubt the brain's ability to think more clearly under pressure.

Dove's heart thudded in her chest as she observed her surroundings, thinking to herself that she would never even have found herself at an audition for a movie laid out like this, let alone in the actual situation. She too paused at the door until the man pushed them inside.

As her eyes adjusted to the darkness within, she stepped closer to Luke, her heart nearly stopping entirely at the mention of restraint. Tensing and looking around quickly for any indication of escape, she jerked her arm away from the first person to touch her, crying out when the grip held. Nearly shaking, she continued to struggle against them until her hands were bound, her body slowly sinking into panic, though she tried to fight it and keep a level head.

The 'other guy'? Restrained. 'Paraded'? Bound. 'might show up'? Trapped.

Man, these guys were still around? Coming to the familiar warehouse, Yuri was able to quickly determine just who his friends' captors were. The police really were useless around here. As they went inside, Yuri crept up to the doorway and pressed himself against the wall beside it.

So they were counting on him showing up, eh? Able to hear what was going on inside, he carefully remained hidden. Obviously it would be a bad idea to just rush in there. Sounded like there was a lot of people in there, and he was just one guy. He would have to wait for an opportunity.

He then crept away, looking for another way in. Repede remained where he was, keeping a look out. Yuri found his way in by means of a steel ladder built into the side of the building and a broken window. Allowing him to climb into the rafters of the warehouse. Quietly and carefully he found himself a spot. Watching and waiting from a dark place above them.

Luke tolerated the restraints calmly - as calmly as he could manage, at least. Judging from Dove's distressed noise and increased proximity to him, he felt it safe to assume she wasn't exactly handling the situation well. "It's okay," he repeated, his voice level, even reassuring. "You don't have anything to do with this. Don't worry."

"What's with the chick?" a random voice questioned.

"Some girl who was with him. Didn't want to leave her there to run off for the cops or something," a now familiar voice replied.

"How long will we keep 'em?"

"Eh, hell if I know. Until it gets boring, I guess."

The pair, now tied, were led to the back wall and forced to the ground to await their captors' boredom - or the arrival of the other individual who bore their grudge.

Forced to her knees against the wall, Dove did her best to keep her body from shaking, only able to force it back to a sharp trembling in her shoulders. Her head tucked low, she tugged at the rope around her wrists until her wrists were raw and tears pricked at the corners of her eyes.

Taking a few deep, shaking breaths in attempt to curve the panic, she looked to Luke, her face pale. "W-What do we do?" she whispered, hoping he had at least a bit more of an idea.

Yuri's gaze scanned over the people below, watching as his bound friends were placed against a wall. This wasn't going to be easy, but there weren't exactly many options here. He kinda doubted that they planned on letting Luke leave this place alive.

Suddenly the sounds of barking came from the direction of the entrance. A small smirk tugging at Yuri's mouth.

"Don't worry, for one thing," he encouraged, easily distinguishing the distress in her features and tone. Lorelei came to his thoughts, the yellow Mew with a tendency to follow him around in an unseeable state. The only way he had ever managed to make the psychic-type appear in front of him was by means of the song it liked, and while that was… kind of embarrassing, it also wasn't really a situation in which embarrassment was a valid excuse for not doing everything he could; it wasn't just his own safety that was on the line here. And so he drew in a breath and sang the song, ignoring the confused comments that came from the unintended audience as well as any threats against him. What brought him to stop - to freeze, even - as one of the nearby criminals nearly lost his patience, was the barking near the entrance. If Yuri was there, that was just delivering what they wanted…

"Didn't one of them have a mutt last time too?"

"Someone go check it out already!"

Someone to the side was pushed out of a small assembly, and he moved reluctantly to check the entrance.

Though she couldn't bring herself to ask him how she wasn't supposed to worry, she found herself in surprised silence instead as the boy began to sing, her brows immediately furrowing in utter confusion and disbelief. Singing? Now?! She had heard of people having strange ways to calm their nerves, but in this situation, any merry sound was just... inconceivable, even if he did have a lovely voice.

As the songs abrupt ending to the tune of barking from the entrance, she snapped her head up, eyes widening and she surveyed the number of people watching them.

"What was that?" she asked almost silently, her voice a mix of fear and curiosity.

When the poor soul was sent out to look, the guy would be met with a blast of fire from a Flame Wheel. There was a scream and a thud mixed in with growls and snarls as Repede attacked. The attention to those in the warehouse likely being directed that way, Yuri used the opportunity to drop down from the rafters and land behind a large stack of crates near where Luke and Dove were being held.

Not at all worried for his canine companion, Yuri knew that Repede could handle himself. His focus was mainly on getting Luke and Dove out of this sticky situation.

"Probably help," Luke replied at a similar volume. The sudden commotion drew more of the criminals towards the entryway, this time prepared with a range of weaponry, though the hostages' guard did not yet lighten - but their eyes were quite trained on the entrance to watch the situation's development.

At Yuri's side appeared a yellow form, drawn by the familiar sound of the song it found so interesting. The Mew regarded him with large honey-colored eyes before moving silently towards the two bound individuals. Luke offered the creature a relieved smile at its approach and inclined a few hushed words towards Dove, "Lean forward a little." Lorelei hovered readily near Dove, little paws grasping at the rope to tug at the knot.

She nodded, then leaned forward at his command, her eyes following the hovering pokemon. A mew?

Right! He had mentioned it once before, along with his singing. That explained that, at least, and she couldn't be any more grateful as the pokemon moved to untie her. With it's help, the rope fell away from her wrists, though she didn't move them immediately; there was no use in giving herself away before Luke was freed as well, though she did think of reaching for Sparky's ball at her waist.

There were some more blasts of fire as Repede began attacking the other thugs that came to see what was going on.

Yuri was considering his next move when a yellow creature suddenly appeared next to him. The man blinked in surprise and stared back. He'd never seen a Pokemon quite like that before. But he wasn't going to argue when the creature went in to untie Luke and Dove's bonds.

However, one of the guards seemed to notice and turned towards them. "Hey what's-" but he didn't have a chance to finish as a fist wearing a studded glove suddenly connected with his jaw. Grabbing the now unconscious guy by the collar, Yuri tossed him aside.

His work with the stranger complete, Lorelei moved on to Luke's bonds, freeing him on the binding rope. It seemed for a moment that they were discovered, but the immediate threat was dissolved as Yuri incapacitated the man. Luke pushed himself to his feet, Lorelei hovering near his shoulder, and offered Dove a hand to help her rise as well. "I feel like this could be going a lot worse," he remarked to no one in particular, moving a hand towards Tartarus's pokeball as he turned to acknowledge Yuri, "Thanks." But I wish you hadn't come. He had a bad feeling about both of their targets being present.

"The hell's it matter if you're tied up or not?" one of the thugs said, shrugging. "It's not like we particularly need you in one place to kill you." His hand went to his pocket, some of the others nearby advancing to form a ring.

When Yuri appeared out of nowhere and knocked the man flat, Dove blinked in further surprise. Though he had come across as someone who could take care of himself, she hadn't expected the swordsman to be such a vigilante. None the less, she was glad he was there, unaware of Luke's unspoken discouragement.

In an instant, the girl was on her feet, another ball in her free hand. In response to Luke's comment, she shook her head, bracing herself next to him as the thugs began move closer to them. "Let's not dwell on it, shall we?" she asked, the shake in her voice dying down now that her wrists were free. Scanning the ring around them, she held back with her small party, her focus becoming more clear and with little warning, she released her Typhlosion.

Eyes blazing, Sparky put himself in front of the girl, roaring fiercely at the men approaching before releasing a massive burst of fire.

Yuri didn't say anything to Luke, instead his attention was focused on the thugs who quickly noticed what was going on. His face grimly serious as they started to form a ring around them. He knew this was a trap, but he wasn't about to just leave Luke and Dove at the mercy of these guys. Luke was in no shape to fight, and Dove... well she wasn't exactly the fighting type. Thus he stayed close to them, taking his sword and tossing the scabbard before holding up the blade.

"C'mon guys, this cliche thing is really getting old. Aren't you tired of it yet?" However, there was no joking sound in Yuri's voice this time. He was quite serious, and was tired of dealing with these guys. Twice was enough, but a third time?

When Dove's Typhlosion suddenly appeared, Yuri blinked, slightly distracted for a moment as the huge Pokemon belched fire at the guys around them.
