The cheshire siamese cats made hissing sounds that sounded like they were laughing at her. They disappeared again, this time reappearing on her back and pushing her to the floor again just as she was about to get back up.

"Stop iiiit! I can't play right now! I need to help Professor Byrn!" She couldn't fail! Miss Byrn needed this minipet! Whatever it was..

They finally left after making that hissing laugh again, vanishing in thin air...for the time being. Sibyl finally got up off the ground with an annoyed sound, looking all around and spotting a bit of pink. OH! That must have been it! Sibyl took off running for the pink thing until she lost it.

Oh no...

Sighing, Sibyl sat on the ground and stared at the wall she could've sworn had been pink just now. Turn pink again. Do it. Turn pink aga--what was that? Something sparkled in the distance and immediately Sibyl felt compelled to go to it.

Sibyl was starting to feel really tired. She shook her head, rubbing it and taking out the protein bar. Maybe she could eat it...

As she was about to take a bite she saw it. The walls were pink.

The little selkie squealed with delight and ran straight for it, putting the protein bar away for now. She needed to get that minipet! She didn't have much time!

The last line of the note was clear.


"Find what i need and bring it back to me. It is Pink, Small, and Spawns in muddy environments."

As Sibyl would look around, it was a very....very pink, and muddy! Environment. There was even a drip of water as it fell off the ceiling and drew up in to little watering pools, too shallow for anything but the smallest of critters to swim.

As she looked around more.... she would notice something move out of the corner of her eye.

Pink, small...muddy environments. Sibyl looked up from the note to find she was exactly where she needed to be. A muddy cave! How delightful! But what was she looking for? Something pink in the mud? She didn't see many things in he--oh! There it was!

"CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTE!" Sibyl squealed, her voice echoing off the walls. The minipet tensed up. If it didn't move she wouldn't see it..!

Sibyl's hunting instincts kicked in when she saw how the creature reacted to her excitement. She quieted down and got down low to the ground, offering the minipet a small smile and slowly holding her hand out. No sudden movements. "Come on! It's okay." She took a single step closer. The minipet leaned forward as if to sniff at the ghoul though it was still well across the cave away from her. "See? I won't hurt you."

Oh! Maybe if she used her protein bar! Sibyl didn't think she would need all of it at this point, so she took it out and broke it in half. One half was tossed to the minipet. It blinked and waddled closer to the protein bar, sniffing at it, taking a single bite..and then eating more of it. Ha! Progress!

The minipet gulped up the entire protein bar half in one bite after the initial tasting. Sibyl blinked. Um..did...did it want the other half now?

The two just stared at each other, unblinking.

Sibyl would. Not. Blink. Not before the minipet.

The corner of Sibyl's eye twitched, it wanted desperately to close just for a moment. No. She couldn't. She couldn't let it.

Finally the minipet blinked and shook its head, rubbing its eyes. Sibyl grinned. Victory.

"Here, for being such a good loser." She tossed the minipet the second half of her protein bar.

With the minipet distracted with the treat, Sibyl leapt into action. Literally. She jumped, scooping the minipet up in her hands and clinging to it. Yes! It couldn't get away!
