[FIN] Grand Shopping Expeditions

Rosie lowered her gaze to her feet, taking in everything that Yuri said, feeling her heart sinking lower and lower.

"... We need to see him." Rosie said. "We need to at least talk to him, just for a little bit." She looked up at Yuri. "Being with family is important, especially after everything he's had to go through. But I can't believe that Luke would just cut us out like this, he would never do that to his friends and not after I promised we would be there for him. I mean that, no matter what."

She didn't look remotely okay with what was being said. "We need to go back, we need to convince them to just let us see him. just for a little bit. He can call the shots from there, but we have to know."
Rosie turned, patting Celestia to get the Rapidash's attention as she hopped onto her back again.

Seraphine turned a surprised gaze at Rosie, her eyebrows raised accordingly, though she didn't move to loose Luna again just yet. "But they told us they wouldn't let us in. What are we supposed to do, just sneak in?" With all that open land it would be hard to do any sneaking at all, even if it was a large house.

"Whoooa, hold your horses," Yuri said as the girl climbed back on her Rapidash.

"I've got a better idea. I'll talk to him about it, and let you know. We can go from there, all right? At least I can make sure he knows you two are here."

Cause really, the girls were just gonna find more disappointment if they tried to convince the guards or Luke's dad to let them in. And there was no way these two girls could sneak into a noble's manor... by themselves anyway.

Rosie had been bound and determined to ride off there, get the others and go, maybe they would convince the guards to just... just... TELL Luke that they were at the gate or something.

Yuri spoke up though, as Rosie situated herself on her Rapidash's back, the horse pokemon trotting beautifully in a circle, half ready to go, but lingering to let Yuri talk.

Rosie kept her eyes on him, despite her Rapidash circling a couple of times.
"..." She lead Celestia back over to face Sera and Yuri, blinking down at them, clearly upset. "Why is it so hard for them to let Luke see his friends." She choked out. "after everything we've been through, we don't want to hurt him, we don't have anything bad to bring, why would they have such a problem with just letting us see our friend."
She sounded defeated, at a complete loss to understand the actions of the Guards, or his father.

She seemed to have seen the reason in Yuri's and Sera's words, understanding the fact that they were not going to get past the guards, not matter how much they tried to convince them.

Hold your horses. Very funny. Very funny. Look Yuri, look at how much Sera was laughing.

Regardless, he did make a point. He was already allowed in and out freely, and would be able to actually talk to Luke. While she wanted to see him for herself, she at least knew they would sometime, even if it wasn't right now. The fact that Rosie was very clearly upset, however, did not sit well with Seraphine at all. The fact that Luke's father had inadvertently, unintentionally upset her friend was completely and absolutely unacceptable. It didn't matter at all that the man would have no idea about such a thing; deep down Sera knew he wouldn't even know, but that didn't stop her from disliking him even more.

"Because his father is dumb," Sera said with a huff, but regardless she moved over to Celestia's side and held her arms up so she could reach Rosie's hands to hold them in hers. God damn she hated being short sometimes. Most times. "But Giselle will find him and let him know. And Yuri will tell him too, and explain. We will see him," she said firmly, believing in those words completely, and wanting Rosie to believe them too. "We're not leaving Grand Ile until we do."

Yuri couldn't really answer that, so he didn't, and just watched Sera try to comfort Rosie instead.

Eventually he sighed.

"Well I came out here to do some shopping," he said. "So why not just relax while you wait? You girls have a place to stay, right?"

He sure hoped they did cause he had things to do and trying to find them a place would take more time.

Rosie looked down at Sera, nodding quietly, remembering the ghost that she had sent in to look for Luke... that was certainly better then a note. she was so thankful for her friend's foresight.

She didn't want to think badly of Luke's dad, as a parent you want to do whats best for your child, and even though Luke's whole life he's been lied to and manipulated by his parents, she didn't doubt that they loved him.

"yes" She answered Yuri. "We got a room when we arrived."

Sera turned her head to look at Yuri, still holding onto Rosie's hands, then peered back up at Rosie. "Yeah, our room is really nice too. Come on, get down and let's go shopping. And don't worry, we'll definitely see Luke." She was still concerned that Rosie was so upset, but she still fully believed they would see their friend. There was no way they wouldn't.

Yuri seemed satisfied with that answer and then proceeded to walk towards the stores again.

"Well then I guess I'll see you guys later."

He figured they would just go on their way and he'd go on his. Although they might notice that he was without a certain Growlithe today.

Rosie gripped Sera's hand tighter, feeling comfort in the girl's determination, and feeling better of her friend's certainly... she was right though, they came here, they would not leave till they saw Luke.

Sliding off of Celectia, Rosie draped her arms over Sera again, hugging her friend tightly.

Glancing up when Yuri bid them farewell, and started to walk away, she leaned over, speaking out to him before he got to far.
"Yuri, wait... uh, would you like to come with us? or if we joined you? we don't know the city very well, and well, it would be nice to get to know you a little more. if that's okay?"

When Rosie got off her Rapidash and hugged her, Sera responded in kind and hugged her back, inwardly glad that her friend seemed to have calmed a little. She was not, however, prepared for Rosie to ask Yuri to join them - or for them to join him - but she couldn't really argue (much) with her friend's logic... They were in a foreign country and had only two maps with which to try and get around. Having someone who lived here would be much more useful to them than maps, loathe as she was to admit it.

Yuri paused and glanced over his shoulder at Rosie's request. He then turned around and blinked at them in slight confusion.

"Yeah I guess... just don't expect me to carry your bags for you." Cause yeah.. he wasn't doing that.

Rosie blinked back at him at his condition, before she let out a small laugh "Of course not, We're capable of carrying our own weight." She reassure. Turning to take Sera's hand and making their way over to catch up with Yuri.

She looked over at Sera, then over to Yuri. "... And Yuri, thank you."

Sera huffed lightly at Yuri's condition. Why would she ever want him to carry her bags? They were hers, and she did not want him touching them. Besides, that was what Mordecai was for, after all. "What would we need you to do that for?" Obvious - they wouldn't.

Yuri smirked at their reply, especially Sera's. "Well then it's settled, c'mon." He waved his hand for them to follow him towards the shopping district and... "Don't mention it," he also said to Rosie's thanks.

Now, time to buy himself some clothes! He had an outfit to replace, and he'd probably get some spares to boot. Just in case... you know... that happened again or something.
