Yuri just shrugged a shoulder. "Can't complain," he said, although really he could. He just wasn't going to. Things had been pretty hectic lately, but she already knew that. Still, he knew that it could be a lot worse and it wasn't anything he couldn't handle.

After another moment or two, Yuri took in a deep breath and let it out. He then turned away from her. "I'm going out of town for a while. Think about all this, and do your best."

With that, he started walking away. What he'd came here for was done, and Yuri wasn't really up for small talk at the moment.

She gave him a half smile as he shrugged before he turned to walk away, knowing full well he could complain. He had every right to complain. However, pushing it wasn't even in her abilities at this point, and she definitely didn't want to make him angry again by prying.

When he mentioned leaving, a look of hurt flitted across her features, but changed to one of understanding almost as quickly as it had come. Of course she wasn't invited anymore. It would have been silly to assume so, and she had other things she needed to tend to now of anyway. With another small nod, she turned to lift Lovey into her arms again. "Well... stay safe. Maybe one day I'll be able to myself."

She watched him walk a few paces, before asking one final question: "So are we...okay?"

Yuri paused at her question, but only to answer before walking on again. "That's up to you."

If she continued they way she was, no, they wouldn't be okay. But if she made a genuine effort to change, they maybe they could be. He wasn't going to say one way or the other just yet.
