Jacob Griffin was going to react to the sudden appearance of a ladder and a man scaling it, but AJ Warner took care of it and that was fine with him. Jacob scanned the field of opponents and noticed that everyone seemed to be targeting someone. AJ vs. Salem. Brody vs. Cyrus. This left Jacob with two options. Team up on someone or go after the one remaining person that wasn't doing jack s**t right now. He picked the second option as he dropped to the mat and rolled out of the ring. Jacob made his way around the ring towards the announce table. He locked his eyes on Ryan as he got close, trying to think of a plan of attack. When he got close enough he decided to throw a feint to try and get Ryan to bite and then would attempt to grapple with Ryan and drive his knee up through his stomach.

Salem was huffing, wild-eyed and ready for a fight. He'd expected Cyrus and AJ to try teaming up against him - after all, they were tag team partners. But what he hadn't expected was for someone to try helping him against them, as was the case with Brody when the big man suddenly made a move for Cyrus. Robinson was a classic 'company guy'. Sure, he was quiet. But the guy was a serious athlete and knew how to throw a punch. Shouldn't he want to crucify Salem, the poster child of anti-establishment? Regardless, the Charismatic One knew better than to look a gift hammerfist in the mouth, and swiftly darted over towards the propped-up Warner who leaned back against the ropes. With a fierce grunt, Salem tried to capitalize on his earlier momentum by clotheslining AJ over the top rope and out of the ring!

AJ was watching the incoming Salem the whole time, assuming that one of the four men would go for the most arrogant wrestler in the match. But it looked like it was just a dance-off for two between Croft and Warner. The Suplex Shooter ducked the clothesline and got behind the man he had hated most so far in this business. It was so tempting to go for a half nelson suplex or even a Maple Leaf Murder just to turn the cocky competitor inside out... but instead the Bad Chyld would put Salem in a mundane sleeper hold. If he could hold it for a few seconds, however, he would go for an early Sleeper Suplex to drop the rookie on his head!

His over-telegraphed lariat was easily read by Warner, who nimbly ducked the arm and maneuvered behind Salem just before the latter reached the ropes. Having the "Suplex Shooter" at one's back was never a fortunate scenario, but instead it was a submission that the Bad Chyld went for, wrapping a forearm around Salem's neck to initiate a sleeper hold. Unprepared, the rookie's arms struggled to pry away AJ's burly bicep, but no sooner had he begun to fight would he feel a floating sensation...the oxygen deprivation, coupled with the weightlessness caused by Warner's improvised suplex, causing the constrained Croft to imagine he were like a cloud. But just as the water cycle, he eventually fell back down to earth. A loud chorus of cheers rang out through the arena as AJ heaved Salwm back, dropping him on his head with a bone-crunching WHAM!

Warner wasted no time getting up and nodding to the crowd who had cheered him on. AJ looked back to the fallen nemesis of him and his partner. He could either focus on Brody and save Cyrus, or start climbing the ladder himself after Salem was dropped. No pun intended, but he chose the latter. However, after Salem's fall the ladder had seemingly fell over and he had no choice put to turn his attention back to the antagonist of Bad Dreams. AJ looked to Salem on the mat, his frustration still existing for the newcomer. "Who the f*ck do you think you are, huh?!" Warner yelled before standing in front of Croft's upper body, waiting for the man to rise.

Like everyone else, Salem's tactic took The Dream completely by surprise, but it was quickly thwarted by AJ's intervention. Ready to take Salem down, Cyrus took a step towards Salem, but was suddenly smacked in the face by Brody's running forearm! The forearm sent The Dream falling back a few steps, nearly knocking him over. Brody, who was that again? Maybe it was that guy who did that one thing? It didn't really matter, but Salem could wait. Raising his fists, Cyrus rushed forward at Brody throwing lefts and rights.

After his arm connected with Cyrus' head, Brody took a step or two away from Cyrus, knowing that he was going to come back with something. His strike worked well enough when Cyrus was concentrating on Salem, but there was no question that the Dream would concentrate on the guy who hit him square in the face. Sure enough, Cyrus came out swinging, and Brody moved his arms up to block his head. Shot after shot hit his arms, but he was patient, and he could take a few hits. He waited for a lull in Cyrus' punches, before dropping his arms and trying to worm a left hook underneath the Dream's right arm.

Cyrus continued swinging until Brody finally opened himself up and hit the Dream in arm with the hook. No doubt that it hurt, but The Dream wouldn't give up his offense in a match like this. Cyrus quickly reached out to catch Brody's arm and would try to take him to the ground by turning and attempting a Judo hip toss.

As good as Brody was at boxing, he was nowhere near as skilled in grappling, especially when his opponent didn't respond well to the boxing. With his hand already in Cyrus' grip, in addition to the unexpected nature of the counter, Brody didn't have a chance to keep his feet grounded, and was pulled over Cyrus shoulder before crashing to the mat. He was able to use the momentum to roll into a sitting position, before his torso fell back to the mat, leaving him staring at lights.

Griffin's knee was caught by Ryan, but that only saved him from the knee. Jacob would throw a short elbow strike before Ryan could manage to push him away, trying to clip him in his temple with the point of his elbow. The elbow was meant to stun Ryan so Jacob could follow up with another attack if it landed cleanly.

The elbow was meant to stun Ryan so Jacob could follow up with another attack if it landed cleanly. Ryan was hit with the elbow and thought to himself "s**t." Ryan then blocked the second elbow, and still holding Griffin's knee, attempted to sweep Griffin's other leg to take him down.

I will just go with it.)After striking Ryan in the side of his head with his elbow, Griffin was looking to do more damage but Ryan managed to avoid his second elbow strike. Griffin was still hopping on one foot and Ryan took advantage of that by sweeping out his other leg and taking him to the ground. Jacob threw up his guard right away, making sure not to take to much damage now that Ryan was standing over him.
