[FIN] Chasing the Sun

Repede smirked a little around the pipe he held in his mouth, tilting his head up to look at the larger Arcanine. ""

Astal blinked at the two of them and huffed. ""

"Yeah? Not a bad change," Yuri replied. He certainly couldn't say he didn't like it. It was definitely different for her, but it was a good different.

Aurora blinked, clearly not expecting the growlithe's response, then laughed aloud, drawing her head back as she looked at Repede approvingly. <> she purred playfully, before glancing from the corner of her eye at the surly eevee. <> she grinned, bending to bump his side with her nose.

Their trainer softened, but the feeling of play didnt recede. "I think I like it... " she told him, honestly she thought. Another quick flash of a smile, as she glanced up the road. "You're not busy...are you?" she asked, stilling a moment before making the engine purr with a sharp twist of her hand. "Want to experience something breathtaking?"

Repede just smirked back at the Arcanine while Astal was nearly pushed over by the edge. The Eevee turning a fiesty glare on the much bigger Pokemon. "" the Captain groused, swatting at her huge nose with his tiny little paw. The Eevee certainly had spunk, and didn't care that the Aurora was many times bigger than him.

"Sure, I'm all yours," Yuri said, apparently not at all busy at the moment.

Aurora laughed again, drawing back, and nodding. <> The eevee was small, but perhaps they were more kindred spirit than she had first realized.

Yuri's reply drew a much less amused and much more subtle, but daring reaction, Dove's smile full blown as she tilted her head. "Are you sure about that?" slowly, she shifted forward, still balancing the bike, then ticked her head to the seat behind her.

"" the Growlithe said with pride, while the shiny vee rolled his eyes a bit at the Arcanine. "" he said, meaning Yuri, ""

Yuri's smirk grew before he took a seat on the back of the bike. "Should I be worried?"

the larger fire type repeated.

Thierry sighed again, and moved beside her.

the arcanine, sighed, shaking her head. she laughed, aiming to harmlessly toss the little eevee up onto her back as she moved to flip him up with her nose.

Dove smirked as she settled back against him more comfortably in her seat. "That depends on what you're afraid of, I suppose. You do trust me... right?" with that, she revved the engine a bit again.

Astal just looked at Aurora dubiously. He really wasn't sure about her. However before he knew it the Eevee was flipped into the air. His Eevee screams heard until he landed on her back with a soft thud. He stared in stunned disbelief for a moment then tilted his ears back.

There was a moment of pause as Dove leaned against him, Yuri's eyes going a little wide.

"Um... Yeah. ... And who said I was afraid of anything?" A little coy smirk returning to his face.

His question was met with a softer look, then a grin. "We all have to be human sometimes..." she told him. That done, she reached back to pull his arms around her waist. "Don't let go.." she whispered, before locking her helmet into place. And with that, she launched the bike back into the road.

Aurora laughed again, but made sure the little vee was stable before wiggling a bit, hoping he would take a grip on her ruff. <> she told him, stepping into a trying pace that gradually picked up speed with each step, following the humans on the bike. <>

With his arms put around her, Yuri's cheeks turned a little pink. Though he quickly held on tight as soon as the bike sped off. "Whoa!"

When Aurora took off, Astal shrieked and grabbed the Arcanines mane with his teeth while digging in his claws to hang on for dear life.

Repede huffed a little as they all left, the Growlithe leisurely trotting along once more. He would catch up with them later.

Though she missed the flushing of his cheeks, she smiled behind her mask as the bike leapt forward and his arms tightened around her. With only a short look to her mirror to see that her two Pokemon were following, she pressed on, headed up a hill or two, enjoying the evening as they cut through the wind smoothly.

Aurora laughed as she picked up speed, careful to keep an eye not only on the girl, but also the eevee on her back, paying little mind to his grip, so long a he had it.

Thierry sighe a the party took off, readying himself to run, until he realized Repede was staying behind for now. <> he offered, more than willing to walk a bit so the growlithe wouldn't be alone.

Despite the abrupt start, Yuri quickly relaxed as they sped along and simply enjoyed the ride. His long hair whipping through the wind as they went. There was a bit of a grin on his face at the thrill of the whole experience. He'd never actually ridden on a motorcycle before and he was quickly liking it. Not enough to get his own bike, but still.

Repede looked up at Theirry and his offer to walk with him. "" the Growlithe assured the Rapidash. He could handle himself alone just fine, it didn't really bother him. In fact it gave the canine a chance to do his own thing for a while.

She felt as though she were ethereal, the speed of the bike, the brush of the winds, the glow of the sky, the rush of the trees, a man's arms around her, freedom to play with her world all tantalizing her senses, tugging at strings in her soul.

Eventually, the bike pulled even harder, swirling around edged corners and taking to straights of dirt roads, until finally, she began to slow, choosing to stop at the side.

Aurora needed no direction as the humans stopped, and leapt up onto a natural path, pulling herself and Astal up to a ledge and disappearing a little ways, where her trainer would soon follow.

Lifting the helmet from her head, she waited for Yuri to dismount, and glanced behind them as Thierry also appeared, tossing his mane. "Come on. We'll miss it if we're slow..." she murmured, her expression calm and sure as she looked up to the plateau the arcanine had claimed.

Once they stopped, Yuri soon got off the bike and let out a breath. Yeah, that was pretty fun. His hair was surely tangled, but he didn't really care. Instead, he followed Dove's eyes to the hill, then back to her.

"Miss what?" he asked, wondering what it was she had in mind. Though he didn't wait to follow her.

Astal's head was spinning, and once the Arcanine was at rest, the little Eevee let go and tumbled off her. Landing on the ground, he laid there on his back and stared dizzily up at the sky.

Careful to set her bike away, she stuffed the key in her bag and locked her helmet to the bag on its side, then moved to climb up to where the arcanine had disappeared. "Come on, you'll see," she told him, stepping carefully so as not to slip. "Just don't be too loud..."

Aurora knelt lower to the ground, allowing the eevee to slide of carefully so as to not get hurt, then nosed his side once. <>

After reaching the top, the girl stopped to brush off her gloves, then stepped around to the edge, taking a deep breath as her eyes soaked in the colors of the sun as it began to settle at the horizon, the peaks of the mountains around them and the ocean casting deep shadows over the land, creatures too small to determine sweeping through the branches of the trees below as the leaves stretched out to the last rays of the shining golden globe. The ocean glittered in the distance, light dancing across its surface in broken strands.

"Loud? What are you trying to say?" Yuri said teasingly as he followed. Since when was he ever really loud anyway? Pfft.

Astal huffed and swatted at Aurora. That wasn't at all funny, and he didn't like that one bit. It was certainly bad enough! Humph. He finally rolled over onto his belly just as the two humans joined them.

Once they got to the overlook, Yuri paused as he took in the scenery. He'd never been this high up before, nor saw a scene quite like this one. It was breathtaking to be sure. Thus he stood there and merely took it all in, in silence.
