Ruby/Sapphire were probably my favorite just because the world was simple but it had a lot of interesting places. Like, you could literally run 1-2 laps around the entire region in the time it took to hatch an egg.

It was small, but it felt deep. Exploring and finding everything in the ocean to the east was hella time consuming. Everything was still pretty secret back then.

I just don't want to know what Pokemon have Mega Evolutions yet. That's part of the fun of it coming out worldwide.

I got X because Nitz decided on Y a long while back. Everyone else I know has gotten Y as well, so *shrug*.
SoulSilver remains my favorite. It brought back my Yellow nostalgia, and seeing Charizard hop onto the PokeCenter counter made me laugh near breathless...

Well, that's understandable, Feesh. I didn't realise it mattered that much to you.

If I decide to buy pokemon at all it would be X for two reasons
1. Audibly, Pokemon X sounds cool. Pokemon Y just sounds awkward. 2. If they're making the reference I think they are, then I definitely want Pokemon X because I am attracted to those of the XX Chromosome set ;D as opposed to those attracted to XY

Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire never had anything to do with rubies or sapphires... It's just to distinguish the two and if they follow suit, we may see a Pokemon Z.

I picked Chespin and Charmander. I'm a fan of the underdogs but I can't go too many of the same type.

Froakie and Charmander.
I thought about picking Chespin, but I didn't like how he turns grass/fighting. I hate when dual types have 2x weaknesses.
There's no question, I had to pick Charmander even if he didn't get the coolest mega evolution. I've been picking Charmander since the 90s!

Yo trade whores, I need a moonstone for my stupid Nidorino, willing to trade a Zoroark for the stone, anyone?
alternatively, if you don't like Zoroark, I can trade a newly hatched Scyther instead.
Orrrr, if you have an Aron, I'll trade Scyther or Zoroark for that too.
On a side note, Charizard can learn Solar beam. And, paired with his Y mega's ability it becomes an instant attack. Hurraaaaaay, protection against water.
