The boss took the opportunity to launch his own attack, the spear finding it's mark right along her shoulder and through part of her wing. With a startled cry, her body dissipated before she hit the floor.

...And then reform where she stood. Astra didn't understand how this had happened, but it was fortunate for her that it did. With renewed vigor she threw more of her laves at the knight.

She wouldn't stop her relentless attack, she was going to keep this up as long as possible.
She did pause however to see the knight was looking weakened. Perhaps now, she could try to finish it off

Astra concentrated hard, Pouring all her fear and heart into this attack. The leaves began to glow with the excess energy that permeated, sparkling even. Off she flew, flying with full speed towards her opponent. The fae was a blur of movement, hacking, slicing, striking at every point she could on the knight.
She had used up all the energy she had, and when she stopped, the knight stood there seemly unfazed.
Until it began to crumble. The detailed Armour cracking along the lines she had made in it. The cracks grew wider, bigger, until everything stopped. Time seemed at a stand still.
The knight's Armour broke apart, he himself dissipating untill there was nothing left. Nothing except a small rolled up piece of paper where it had once stood.
Her diploma.
