I agree with Fairy Universe, has anybody ever held pictures of Kyou n Tamahome n all her other leading male characters up to eachother? They're very little difference in them which is kinda funny cause it's like the same guy playing different parts over and over again, I do love her drawing style for women though, she makes girls in her mangas look so cute blaugh

Playing different parts and sometimes similar ones.
Take Kyou and Tama for instance. I am not saying they are the same guy (their personalities come across as generally different). But there are a lot of similar story devices used:
~both serious, hardworking guys for their families (Kyou for aunt and uncle, Tama for siblings)
~both fall for main girl but have complications provided by her blonde companion (Mayura and Yue) and by the second main male characters the girls meet (Frei and Hotohori)
~both are put under a spell by the blonde companion to prevent love being shared (the spell put on Kyou, the drug given to Tama)
~the second male companions want to marry the main girl, but will ultimately help the main guy
~both get into a situation where they are asleep and pull the main girl to them

Those are just some examples off the top of my head.

i watched the entire anime fushigi yuugi anime in japanese. lucky there was english subtittles!
i loved how taka saw miaka at the end and that was like a miracle of love...
sorry if that sentence did not make much sense.

I was SO lucky last year at Animazement. She came to our con and I got her to sign my Miaka doll...and then I had my fiancee stand in line behind me so I could also get a manga of her's signed as well!!!!

I didn't like how Ayashi no Ceres ended... But I'm no Touya fan either. sweatdrop I thought he should have just stayed dead. I actually recently re-watched the entire thing. I harp on the ending so much, I forgot how good it actually was up to that point.
