And then things suddenly took a very confusing and alarming turn.
"What--hey! What are you doi--?! Cut that out!" For a second, Lutz had wondered if this was just all part of some kind of weird roleplaying to get him into the swing of fighting, but something definitely felt off. For one thing, Yin was suddenly being a lot harsher than he had been previously, and then there was the way his tone had shifted...
"Let go of me!" Thrashing, the boil made an effort to free himself.

The flailing clipped him, and while the words were confusing Yin could not spare the time to stop and think about it. He had to focus on the blows, remind himself that he was fighting. There was definitely no time to doubt himself, or the strange occurrences over the past couple of weeks. Like how he was constantly in need of new bottles of shampoo. So instead he needed to incapacitate his opponent. He backed off, luring his opponent into a false sense of security before dropping his shoulder and charging. Dropping his opponent to the floor he manhandled him until he had him virtually immobile. A strong opponent might find a way out, and Yin had no idea who this guy was or what training he had. "Explain yourself!" he roared. HP: 38 Damage: 9

Lutz couldn't decide if this guy had just lured him into a false sense of safety by offering to spar with him, or if he was just having some kind of episode. Whichever the case, the boil was, understandably, not very pleased by how things were turning out right now. In fact, as much as he never liked to admit it...he was downright terrified.
Making no effort to waste his breath and reply, the boil instead used all his effort to try and free himself from Yin's grip. He violently kicked and flailed, effectively doing a better job at accidentally and haphazardly attacking than he had when he tried to plan out his move.

The boil's actions spoke louder than words ever would. He was increasing his attacks, fighting harder now than he had before. One part of him knew the movements were almost frantic, but that did not change that he was hurting him, and whoever this was had to be stopped.
"Why will you not answer me," Yin hissed while kneeing Lutz in the side.

s**t. s**t s**t s**t, this wasn't good--Lutz was starting to realize that his FEAR shield was becoming precariously close to shattering. Letting out a wheezing gasp as Yin knocked the wind out of him, he grit his teeth together and continued to struggle.
"Because...you wouldn't believe me...even if I did...!"

Well, that was true, but with the struggling the boil was doing he was not willing to calm down and explain things. And Yin was not prone to letting him. Instead he pulled his arm back and then punched the stranger as hard as he could from this angle. He could tell the boil's Fear shield was gone, and he released him with a shove, backing away quickly before turning and running. He would have to be an idiot to follow, and in the state he was in Yin could easily escape. The mantodae fully intended to ignore how this was just one strange circumstance in an ever growing list lately. HP: 33 Damage: 6

If Lutz could bruise, then that last hit most definitely would have given him quite the shiner. As it was, the punch--in addition to shattering his FEAR shield--knocked him silly, his vision flickering. He was only vaguely aware of the fact that the other boil had released him, but he was able to make out the sound of retreating footsteps. Before long, he was alone, laying on the gym floor in silence.
Groggily trying to sit up, Lutz clutched his head and squeezed his eyes shut. He wasn't sure what the hell had just happened, but he knew two things: one, to stay away from Yin in the future and two, maybe to be just a little more selective about who he sparred with.
