[PRP] Making Friends

Pahket charged forward when Angeline dropped into a stance facing her, ready to pounce, but was quickly foiled by the change in direction. Still, she whuffed delightedly, and awkwardly spun, appearing to chase her tail for a moment, to get herself reoriented and pursue the Jolteon.

Tarana really didn't have anything else worth doing as far as he was concerned, and stayed put, content to look, and smile, at the Sylveon. He didn't seem to be aware of any awkwardness such a thing might have attached.

"Yes, that's pretty much like Pikachu, though they're a little more at risk from overcharging than losing charge." Tambrey grinned, and allowed Jubilee to crawl onto her other hand so Nicolette could see her better. "Jubilee is pretty cute, and yes, she'll be able to make a bit of her own once she evolves, as she'll be bigger, but she'll still have to feed to top up. A lot work goes into electric webs. She'll become a Galvantula. You seem really interested in electric types?" Tambrey hazarded a guess; it wasn't her favourite subject, of course, but she liked the girl's curiosity.

Angeline made a yipping sort of howl - something that suspiciously sounded somewhat like laughter - at Pahket's behavior, though didn't stop running in circles or even slow down a little -- if anything, she tried to run a bit faster.

Well... This was getting a little.. awkward. Clarisse shifted a bit uncomfortably, glancing between Tarana and the humans, though ultimately decided to stay put for the moment. If no one offered food soon, she would have to resort to begging for it. While she wasn't averse to begging, it almost seemed too easy sometimes.

"Oh no! Can they?" Nicolette asked, her hands lifting to her cheeks and seeming mildly distressed by this knowledge. "What happens if they overcharge? Is it bad? ...ohh, how cute," she cooed, the anxiety almost immediately melting away in the face of such an adorable, tiny pokemon, and she bent forward with her hands on her knees to get a closer look at the little Joltik. If nothing else, the fact that Jubilee would be able to make at least some of her own electricity once she evolved made her feel better. "Ohh, I see," she said, eager to learn more about Joltik and Galvantula - she loved learning about new things. "I bet making electric webs is really difficult! Oh," the girl paused and straightened up, her cheeks turning a bit pink as she clarified, "not just electric types; I really love to learn new things, is all."

Wow! Fast was fine by Pahket, even if her stubby legs struggled to keep up for now... This was training as much as it was play, and Pahket knew that a speedy opponent, or rather, playmate, would force her to focus on speeding up herself. And speeding up was just fun.
She yipped and howled delightedly, adding a little bounce, and pouncing motion, along her chase.

Tarana was still for a moment, and then raised his arms up at the Sylveon, as though the psychic type was asking to be picked up. He still had a placid little grin on his face.

"Um. Well, yes. They get quite sick. They're also often being struck by lightning, but they're a very well studied pokémon so even if they become hurt, people can usually help them just fine though." Tambrey was quick to add; the girl had very cute reactions but she felt kind of bad when it appeared like she was distressed by the things she learned. She smiled as she came closer for a look at Jubilee though, and the little bug seemed fairly pleased about the attention, blinking big eyes back up at Nicolette and giving a tiny chirrup.
"Oh? Well that's really good. A lot of trainers just, um... want to battle and know about battling. Personally, I like learning as much as I can about them, too. New things are exciting."
