Something was off about this morning… Evelyn couldn’t put her finger on it right away. She’d woken up and managed to find herself on the floor like normal. The pain of meeting the floor set in before reaching for her glasses. Putting them on her face, Evelyn still found it hard to see. In fact was it just her or was it hazy? No, it was definitely hazy. “What happened…?” Evelyn asked curiously looking through the haze before getting to the window and opening it. Taking a deep breath of fresh air, the dark haired girl looked to see her ghost type friend. “Yamask, what did you do?!” She asked in alarm.
*Flashback*
Yamask woke up to his still sleeping trainer. Noticing this, he found himself floating around the room. Silent as always he poked his way into Evelyn’s bag. Discovering a number of rare candies (4 to be exact) Yamask ate them. It was after that he was floating by the window when suddenly a Pidgey came and landed on the windowsill. Becoming startled by the sudden appearance of the bird he spewed a dark haze around the room. At that exact moment, Evelyn had fallen out of bed. When she opened the window it had scared away the bird Pokémon.
*End of Flashback*
Yamask at this point was looking over at Evelyn before shrugging. “Never mind…” Evelyn told him before taking her Pokégear and looking for Yamask’s attacks. ‘Haze… The user creates a black or purplish haze that eliminates every status change among all the Pokémon engaged in battle.’ She read. “When’d you learn haze?” She asked looking up at the ghost Pokémon. “Ya~” (Now~) He replied. Evelyn shrugged before getting herself ready. Looking at the clock she knew she was running late… again. “We got to go.” She told him before rushing off to class. Hopefully the room would air out by the time her roommates got back to the room.
