Trent vs Batista

Batista wasn't done as he'd back Trent up a bit, and attempt to power-whip to the post, causing him to hit the raveled stairs as well.

Trent, who was once again up to his feet from assistance, would be tossed into the ring post with a hard whip. Off the connection, the Archangel would trip over the steps, falling over them and landing awkwardly. The Animal dominating so far.

Batista would taunt in satisfaction, he knew he had the upper hand and it wasn't going to be easy for Trent to get it back from "The Animal". Batista would walk to where Trent had laid after the collision and looked upon his body and the carnage he had left after the move.

Batista would stand over Trent who made very little movement after taking the bumps he already did in this match.

Batista would start kicking at Trent's body as you would a dead animal, trying to emphasized the damage he had already done in this match.

The kicks connected, causing the downed opponent to let out a groan. However, he couldn't do much to avoid the kicks at this point, seeing the Animal has damaged its prey.

Batista would look to bring the action back into the ring as he picked up Trent by his hair and threw him inside the ring.

It seems the predator wanted to change the hunting grounds, throwing Trent back inside the ring. The Archangel would be thrown into the ring as he would roll near the middle of the ring, trying to get away from Batista now.

Batista would have slide in right after throwing the Archangel into the ring. Batista would laugh at how pathetic Trent looked down on the mat like that. Batista seeing that Trent wanted to escape him he'd grab Trent by his leg, dragging him and if successful towards the turnbuckle.

Against his will, Trent was dragged to the turnbuckle by Batista. Not even his best efforts being able to let him get away from the Animal.

Batista would take an unusual path, as he'd climb to the second padding on the turnbuckle. He'd sit a bit before going for a huge splash on the downed Trent.

The downed Trent was about to be crushed under Batista's weight, but he would at the last second look to raise his knees as a reversal to the splash.

The knees of Trent would be planted right in the stomach of Batista, as he'd jolt up in pain. The momentum was starting to slowly switch in the favor of Trent and Batista knew he'd have to stop it soon.

Trent, who also was experiencing his fair share of pain, would begin to pick himself up to his feet. Despite the pain, he looked to take the given opportunity to do so and advance in the match.

Batista would use the ropes as support to return to his feet.
