~Raena~
Raena blinked as a voice made itself known. "When you live in reserves all your life; when you're forgotten and abused for fun by everyone on your own land, you cannot afford to be fragile or unsuspecting.""Hm?" She paused as she payed attention to the voices on the wind."Escort, do you happen to know who is waiting for me in the town?"There it was again! At the very least two people were there, possibly more. They'd at the very least be able to tell her where she was, and more importantly, if there was anything interesting rumors or creatures for her to look into.
The petite woman dashed through the trees towards the voice, not caring that the people might think her crazed.
"Oi! I hear ya person! I has a question for ya!" She'd call out at the top of her lungs, not caring at all about what a sight, or sound, she made. After all she cared not for anyone's opinion but her own.

Before Clarice could listen in to what Escort might've said, she gathered a tingling in her mind; a disturbance in her conscience. Something was alerting her of a fast approaching being--- something that was probably human and mostly harmless. With a spin of her heel, Clarice turned to face where the barreling being was running through, shouting until they'd reached herself and Escort.
Clarice was a bit taken aback to see it was another girl; awfully unique looking, to say the least. A glance at Escort before she returned her eyes back to the white-haired woman.
"It isn't wise to be screaming down an area you're unfamiliar with; we could be foes for all you know."
Though they weren't, which was obvious first by the fact that they did not immediately attack and vice versa. What was she doing running around, by herself - screaming - anyway?
"You said you wanted to ask us something?"

Escort The wolf stayed where she was. She didn't seem agitated. Ahead, the branches and narrow path that had become increasingly forbidding and problematic seemed to have receded. An easily walked path was now before them.

"Eh, I only called out cause I heard voices. Seems I got lost, was wondering if ya knew where we are, and if ya heard any interesting rumors lately. No worrying 'bout danger. I can handle myself." Raena told them with a smile as she placed her gauntlet covered hand on her hip.

Arvius Aviarious Avarious looked around the forest looking confused and dazed. He couldn't remember how he got here, but only that his wings were broken, meaning he must have crashed somewhere around here. The forest was dark and warm all at the same time, the only thing that was sitting next to him was his white raven friend named Bee. He sighed alittle bit and stood up, rubbing his wings alittle bit, his ears flicked a bit when bee began to caw, she has heard some voices in the distance and went ahead to investigate. Bee Bee flew ahead and looked around the forest floor after hearing the voices in the distance. her head turning and flicking about like any avian would.

Escort The wolf's snout suddenly went into the air and sniffed deeply and then a few more times. Her ears also pivoted to her left toward the wood the group had just ventured from. The wolf's mixed colored eyes then seemed to look toward Arvius. "Wondering the forest by yourself as a newcomer is dangerous. Come with us to the town ahead," came a female voice that seemed to speak directly into Arvius's ears and mind. The rugged brick path that lead ahead remained open and lit by the bobbing of soft blue glows of light. However, the dark forest seemed to be moving of its own accord again. What would come may not give enough time to get away unless haste was taken.

Arvius Aviarious Avrius walked out of the brush and looked up to bee flying down to his shoulder. He smiled a bit and nodded at one of the other girls, thinking it was them that had spoken to him. "It's a pleasure to meet you, ladies." He looked at the wolf and tilted his head alittle bit but did not question much of anything, he had seen quite a bit and nothing was a real surprise to him.

Rik was within the town tilling away at the tender soil beneath his feet. It was a very small patch of dirt for growing what his neighbor desired, he often came over to assist him with it since his body was more frail and tired these days. There was talk going around the town more than usual, often when this happened Rik could tell that someone was new was coming.
Rik came here himself not too long ago and settled. People had been curious about him at first, where he came from and after enough silence they even pestered him to what he wanted. It was hard for many to tell if he was friend or foe at first due to his overbearing silence, but over the course of three days they've managed to learn his name (at least a part of it) so they called him Rik. It was the only true word he could recognize when someone wanted his attention.
He never changed his clothes, didn't want to, as odd as they were and people seemed fine with that. He was curious to what was beyond this forest, even tried to leave a few times only to end up back here. Some strangers that came and went, they were not of the world that he knew and tried to tell him of the world beyond. From their appearance alone of these travelers, even from the citizens around here, Rik knew it's been a long time and didn't belong in their world anymore. His family was gone, his friends, his loved one and every face he knew likely didn't exist anymore. He's made most of his peace with that, with the the first person that he was able to grieve to when he awoke. The Stranger, a masked man who awaited each lost face out in the forest.

Escort "We don't have time for formalities, newcomer," The mental, female voice echoed in a hurried, curt tone. It was then that masses of bush and root encroached upon the road. Looking down the brick path, one could see the many lights of a village. However, it was also obvious that the trees and other matter of the forest were gradually swallowing the path ahead of the group. If they dawdled any longer, their path forward would surely be cut off. "Hurry!" the voice came again and this time with great urgency. The wolf pranced behind the group and went to urge them forward. From the village, the forest's many noises of shifting, groaning wood and earth were just as audible as the rustling leaves were visible. It was worth note that the village folk did not seem to pay too much mind to the disturbance coming from the wood. Creatures of all kinds went to and from the many buildings and shops that made up the town within the forest clearing. Even though it appeared to be evening, the lit streets were no less busy.

~Raena~
She didn't mind tagging along with them, a village always meant people. People meant there were rumors to be heard, quests for take in order to embark on an adventure no matter how long or short. She did really have a chance to introduce herself, but then time seemed to be of the essence to the strange voice that sounded though no one had moved their lips to speak them. Curious.

Arvius Aviarious Looked at the wolf and nodded. He moved forward quickly with them, his eye twitching every step of the way, his wings were bounding and they hurt like crazy. But he didn't have much of a choice, the last thing he wanted to do was anything to the forest especially with others in there.

Alone, Arvius had managed to escape the forest as a thorny bundle closed tightly behind him. It blocked the way back and anyone left behind was surely trapped. However, in the darkness it was hard to tell if anyone behind him had survived. The forest village was sprawled out before him. There were several people milling about seemingly unaware of what had just transpired.

Town A little old man pushed past Rik and made his way up the small slope to Arvius. The man was balding with a white, wispy, full beard nearly touching the ground on his chin. A weathered old crutch was clasped between both hands and planted firmly before him to lean on. He looked up at Arvius with eyes that shimmered like the night sky. "You are in the village the dark wood. I assume you were sent by Stranger?" came a raspy voice from the little man named Town.

Rik turned just as the elderly man moved past to greet an incoming stranger. He had pulled await from the soil that he was currently patting down and stood up more straight to follow just a few feet behind the old man. Rik had a , more or less, protective nature of certain people around here. As far as Rik knew this elderly man was patient with him, and probably better company since he talked with a slow clarity unlike most people. Rik hadn't crossed any family members of him, he's seen people come and go from the old man's presence, but he couldn't really link anyone who may of been particularly special to him. Things have always been pretty ambiguous here.
Looking at the newcomer, Rik noticed he was pretty dark himself that matched the forest pretty well. What was he exactly? He seemed human, but that wasn't right. Rik had been staring straight at him, a usual hardened gaze that gave off a very unapproachable aura, perhaps if he wore some more simple clothing then the aura would die down.
