I think I will play the girl. I have an interesting back story that I want to use and it might work very well for this plot.

How about since it is an academy there should be all types of pokemon from different regions so there can be mega evolution
That's fine. I'd was just asking because you wanted the Hoenn region.
It is fine to have other regions. I do like the other regions just some of those pokemon are weird, but I'm fine with all kinds of pokemon.
