Estuko sat on the stoop in front of her window of her apartment, looking out watching the rain drizzle down the glass. She hated the city, none of her friends where around, well she wasn't sure they were her friends anymore. She hasn't spoken to any of the people she knew since she has been here, feeling alone she grabbed her hoodie and umbrella. Estuko was home by herself since both her parents where working at the hospital till tomorrow. Grabbing the keys to the apartment and her bag that held her wallet and other important stuff. She headed down the flights of stairs reaching the double doors going out to the city she walked out a bit opening her umbrella. The city was quiet damp and cold, she zipped up her hoodie and walked down the street. She saw a small coffee shop at the corner, stopping in she grabbed a cup before she went back to roaming the city.

A L I T A xxx"αh! Yes, I'm fine!" Alita reassured not only the girl she bumped into, but herself with this statement. She desperately clutched her box close to her chest and tried to look up at the other girl by raising her chin and extending her neck enough to act as a make-shift umbrella for her package--creating a very awkward silhouette. She pushed a strand of hair behind her ear and studied the girl in front of her. She was pretty, yet hiding behind a baseball cap and hoodie. With her imagination, Alita began to jump to unrealistic conclusions before realizing she was awkwardly staring at this girl who she hadn't even introduced herself to. "I'm Alita. Alita Beck. Can I get your name?"✿

Ecko - Graffiti Artist Ecko found himself walking down familiar backstreets and alleyways looking up at the grimy brick walls on either side of him. the drizzle wasn't letting up anytime soon to his dismay, but it wasn't like he'd found the perfect spot yet. Reaching a rusty fire escape he jumped up and pulled the ladder down. The metal made an annoying screeching crash as it hung down in front of him. He proceeded to climb the ladder effortlessly, the cans of paint hooked in his belt rattling together. Once he'd climbed all the way up, he took the final stretch and pulled himself over the side of the rooftop. With a soft breath he stretches out his working muscles and takes a calculated gaze over the city around him.

Cyrus Alman With a sigh and his clothes feeling damp already, Cyrus turned his gaze away from the crowds of children mulling around the campus for one reason or another. He stood up, not feeling too in the mood to hang out with his friends for now and began to head off campus and into the neighborhood beyond. His life here remained in the suburbs where a well funded group home had taken him in, but he was 18 now. It was only a matter of time before he'd have to be out on his own. He knew the city would pay and help for his initial footsteps into the adult world, but that wouldn't last long. They had other children to think about, and their job was basically finished. With his hands stuffed in his hoodie pocket and his nearly empty backpack slung over one shoulder he finally made it out of the suburbs and into the market district. Despite the rainy, clouded day, the market was full of people shopping, dining inside, and basically enjoying a social life. He passed many people, trying to feel as invisible as possible while his mind worked over his future.

Kylie EmmersKylie paused as she passed by an entrance to one of the many veins of the city, and looked into the alleyway to see what had made a loud crashing sound. It was sudden, and her curiosity was peeked - because she had nothing better to do at all. IT was then that she noticed movement in the dank shadows, and as the figure climbed upwards, more light was able to reach them. Kylie watched a man walk up the fire escape and disappear onto the building's rooftop above. Curiosity peaked even more when she noticed the paint cans she entered the alleyway and followed the man's path up the fire escape.

Estuko noticed a girl following a man up a fire escape down a alley way, she thought it was strange but she kept walking. Stopping a moment to pull out the mp3 player she had in her purse, as she placed the headphones over her head she noticed a girl following a man up a fire escape. She found it strange but kept walking, sipping on her coffee she continued down the sidewalk. The rain slowed down a bit but she kept her umbrella up, she didn't feel like getting wet. She saw a market up ahead, Estuko always enjoyed some shopping. Walking up to the market she saw that it was a bit crowded she sighed and decided to leave and go somewhere else.

The end, the end Things will never go our way In the end, the end Things will never go Hadley JensenI've| been| dreaming| things| and| scheming| thingsHadley nodded as the girl assured her she was alright, then introduced herself. She noticed the girl was staring at her awkwardly and immediately felt self-conscious, wondering if it was because of the pill bottle. It took her a second to realize that Alita had asked for her name. "Oh! Uh. Hadley.. Is my name... Hadley Jensen." She said. She still felt weird using her last name, now that she had been kicked out of the house. Did that mean she was kicked out of the family? She wasn't sure. Hadley paused her playing with the lid of the bottle in her pocket to stick out her hand for a handshake. That's what people were supposed to do when they met someone new, right? However, quickly, she realized the girl was probably carrying too much to be able to actually free up a hand, so Hadley awkwardly shoved hers back into her pocket and continued grasping her pill bottle.
As she stood there waiting, she thought she heard something weird in the distance. A strange sound of metal against metal that she hadn't heard yet in her week here, and although she was curious, she wasn't rude enough to just ditch and explore when someone was talking to her. She did try to make a mental note of the direction of the sound for later though. What else did she have to do in this place? It wasn't like she had anywhere to go, or any friends to hang out with. So take it in, don't hold your breath The bottom's all I found We can't get higher than we get On the long way down

♫Slow down, the world isn't watching us break down, It's safe to say we are alone now, we're alone now. Not a whisper, the only noise is the receiver. I'm counting the seconds until you break the silence, So please just break the silence.♬ ☜ ₪✉₪✉☣✉₪✉₪ ☞ ωєsℓєч ɢяєчωσσם ☜ ₪✉₪✉☣✉₪✉₪ ☞ Wesley walked out of his economics class at the University in the city. It was drizzling outside, but the temperature wasn't terrible. He had his backpack slung over one shoulder as he made his way down the little path to the front of the college. He spotted the black vehicle that was there waiting to take him home, but he wasn't quite ready to go home yet. Instead, he veered off to the right, heading towards the middle of the city. He would apologize to their driver later.
Wesley crossed the busy street when the walk sign came on, and continued on, past a coffee shop, past a record store, and past an alley, where he could have sworn he heard a metallic crash. He didn't care too much about it, though. He continued on in the rain, looking for something to do. ♫And I'm longing, For words to describe how I'm feeling. I'm feeling inspired, My world just flip turned upside down. It turns around, say what's that sound? It's my heart beat, it's getting much louder. My heart beat, is stronger than ever. Damien Lee Despite the wet outdoors Damien and four of his mates were standing around a stoop watching the cars and people walk by. They were a boisterous group, and often made loud jokes, laughed, and basically dawned the latest "swag" fashion and hustled to make a living. Damien, grinning from the most recent joke his friends were going on about had his eyes on a particular girl who drew attention to herself a few minutes earlier after bumping into someone. Her panicked apology was enough to draw stares including his. He watched the girls interact, not disguising his obvious agreement with bother of their physical assets. Breaking away from his friends he made his way over to the girls, one with a long braid and holding a box, and the other a seemingly smoky red head. He could tell from just their clothing however that they were both from far different sides of the track. "Hey girls." He said charmingly to them stopping within their 'bubbles'.

The end, the end Things will never go our way In the end, the end Things will never go Hadley JensenI've| been| dreaming| things| and| scheming| thingsHadley had a hard time hiding her irritation at yet another person approaching. He stepped just a little closer than she was comfortable with, and so she moved a bit to the side, closer to Alita. She was itching to get out of the middle of the street so that she could take her anti-depressants. It left her looking sort of jittery and unable to hold still. She just gave a small, polite smile to the man that was addressing them, but said nothing, still waiting to see if Alita had anything else to say to her. Aside from her playing in the subway station earlier this week, this was probably the most anyone had tried to talk to her. Usually she made herself look like she was in a hurry to get somewhere so the people on the street would leave her alone. She didn't feel like the middle of the street was a place to make friends... Not good ones, anyways. Maybe a coffee shop, or some kind of small club, if she ever made it anywhere like that with her musical talent. Those were the places she wanted to make friends. Although this Alita girl didn't seem awful. She had been nice enough to apologize for bumping into her, and that was more than Hadley had gotten from most people in this city so far. So take it in, don't hold your breath The bottom's all I found We can't get higher than we get On the long way down

A L I T A xxxиodding in response to hearing Hadley's name and opening her mouth to reply, Alita stopped after hearing the metal on metal. Not used to this type of noise, Alita jumped, ruffling the box in her arms. She held them closer and looked back up at Hadley once more. Before she was able to speak, Alita was interrupted by a newcomer to the conversation. He didn't appear to be someone she would want to socialize with--but Alita had to step back and remind herself to not be so judgmental. So, she straightened her back and smiled as kindly as she possibly could. "Hello." She said calmly, looking at the gentleman. "May I help you?"✿

✲I am a poor, wayfaring stranger Traveling through this world alone. And there's no sickness, toil or danger In that bright land to which I go. And I'm going there to see my mother. And I'm going there no more to roam. And I'm only going over Jordan. And I'm only going over home now...✺ Coral Coral walked down the sidewalk, trying not to draw attention to herself. She had just taken a bag of chips from a convenience store, and was munching very nonchalantly on them. That was the best way to get away; Act like you weren't doing anything wrong. If you looked guilty, you drew suspicion. Once out of the vicinity of the store, Coral hurriedly ducked down an alleyway, and peeked around the corner to be sure no one was following. It was then that she heard a sharp, scraping metal sound come from behind her. She jumped. She hadn't even realized anyone was there, she was so busy with her task-at-hand. She ducked behind a bin in the alleyway, and watched as a young man with paint cans strapped to his waist climbed the fire escape. Soon after, an even younger girl followed.
Curious, Coral decided to climb after them both as well. She stuck the plastic of the small bag of chips between her teeth, holding tightly to her snack, and gripped the rusty ladder, making her way to the roof. Looking up, she saw the girl's shoes disappear over the top. Soon, she was there as well. She peeked up over the edge, to see what was going on.❉And I know dark clouds will gather me, And I know my way is rough and steep. Estuko was walking she noticed a girl walking down the run eating chips, she seemed different. Looking back she watched the girl , she seemed kinda jumpy as if someone was following her. The girl disappeared into the alleyway, curious to see where all of them where going she turned around and headed towards the alleyway. She saw as they disappeared in the dark as the last girl went up the fire escape. Closing her umbrella she grabbed the ladder and made her way up the escape, but before she knew she bumped in the girl she saw before, since she was just watching the others over the edge.

Cameron had just got off work, he got into his jeep and headed home to change. He saw Estuko walking down a alley way, which seemed odd cause usually she was home. He drove up a bit, not to close, he didn't want to be seen. Getting out of the jeep, grabbing his umbrella he followed her. Peeking around the corner he saw another girl disappear up the fire escape, he went around the corner as he did Estuko was already headed up the escape. He went back to his jeep and decided to wait till she came back down so that he could talk to her.

She wore a dark green windbreaker, hood up and held a cigarette in her right hand that was covered in punk looking rings. Her dark brown hair was put into a messy side braid. Another day at work left her tired and annoyed once more and all she wanted was to go watch some television at her apartment. Just minding her own business, Weiss noticed a girl place her umbrella down and climb up a fire escape, chasing after another girl with short blonde hair. The girl beneath the blonde one bumped into her, and Weiss felt potato chips fall onto her head and tumble down to the wet and muddy ground. She looked up, eyebrow twitching and called out, "Don't throw your chips at people!" She took an inhale of her cigarette, blowing out the smoke with a smirk on her face. She wasn't actually angry, just teasing them.
