That a difficult corner to stick a every person who has nothing to sell to gain money, and no alternative way to gain gold but to RP or spend their time in the mini games racking in stuff too sell(which takes forever). I know I've given up on the latter.

On another note, what do you guys think of the Races so far? I just finished updating again. It's not complete, but I'd like to know what you think.

Not bad you haven't touched vampires yet would you like me to work on that? Note I use the vampire concept from the tabletop rp game by Whitewolf (Vampire: The Masqurade)

Also yeah I set up my avi many years ago and havent touched it since.

Well, i need to get back into rping again, i know i am not perfect cause i have trouble with punctuation and spelling but no one is perfect and we all have our strong and weakness.
Yeah i know what you mean about that, i miss being able to get items more easily.

I am reading the races now but am also doing sevral other things to ><

Same here. I know I love rping. I enjoy the stories that form. I fear, however, the upcoming increase in activity(in a month or two) in my life will force me to rp only once a week or so. DX
I remember when 100,000 used to be the massive number people barely got to. Now 1Bil is the new 1mil.

Oo, wow but yeah life dose make it hard to keep up at times.

I don't know. : I kinda have my own vision of how the vampires will be. The only reason I haven't gotten to vampires yet is because I've been working down from the top. But now I can work on them. The dragons are now balanced and out of the way.
The characteristics of the vampires will be pretty simple. They have all the regular behavior of vampires--the blood sucking, the fabulous beauty, the extra speed and strength, regeneration--but unlike most, they will be able to walk in the sunlight(for a few hours at least). The quirk with this is that vampires are only able to do that because of the blood they drink. It sustains them like energy to an exhausted person. It isn't exactly comfortable to be in the sun, but they can be out for an hour or so. I think I'll make it so that burns from the sun take just a little bit longer to heal.
What do you think? cat_razz

I don't know how you can do that. You know, keep your avatar exactly as it is. I like fiddling with my avatar. Making it look different and cool at the same time. cat_4laugh

I know it does, but I don't want that to happen. I love RPing(which is writing, which I also love) and I love the stories they make. emotion_facepalm

I guess that can work. I'm not a vampire can walk in the day type of person. Although to get around that at times the idea of heavy shading or using magic to cause storm clouds works. I'll have to send you info on Vampire The Masquerade. In short it's an in person DnD format of RP.

The general idea is that they can be in the sunlight for only short bursts of time. This is because I always found it difficult to be a vampire character that couldn't be in the sunlight. I either had to be completely shrouded, or I had to be hidden in the shade or have to wait for nighttime. I don't know. I figured short bursts in the sunlight would be fine only when they've fed recently.
Edit: Okay, I adjusted it. I'm trying to find the best balance. DX

Oh! Okay. I've never seen it.

No worries I've played a lot of vampires before. Your idea works I guess if you follow Elder scrolls kind of lore. They feed and in the first phase of vampirism can be in sunlight and only take a physical weakness, so they look like sick people in short. and function similarly.

In my idea I want it to be something similar, but not exactly. This is because I like the prospect of vampires being burned and dying in sunlight, it's their weakness for not dying and sucking blood instead. A balance. What I'm trying to accomplish is that freshly feeding on a victim that CAN be in the sunlight allows them to be in the sunlight, except to them it feels like being dehydrated in a desert on a hot day. Uncomfortable, but they can still be in the sunlight at least that little bit. It only works for an hour or so, but it gets worse as the hour rolls by. Like eating a sandwich so you don't starve, or something like that. You know what I mean? emotion_zombie

Edit: Think of it like a quirk instead of a habit or big thing.

Got ya also Werewolves should be more physically capable than Vampires as well. Also the idea that vampires are the same as humans in magic is only for young vampires. the idea of magic gets more powerfull as one divulges more time into studying and getting further. A vampire who's lived for even 100 years is likely stronger in magic than a human a vampires true power is in that they have unlimited time to master huge amounts of magic. Physically they are only about 1.5 times the strength of a human which isnt that huge of a difference. Seeing as human Templar do defeat vampires in hand to hand combat.

just a thought sorry o.o

Oh don't worry about it. emotion_c8 The more we brain storm the more I perfect my own version of vampires, which is kinda what I'm making. emotion_dowant On another note, I never gave much in depth thought about the statistics of how strong each race was. Not because I didn't care, but because I didn't know where to begin. But, since you mentioned it, I could make a kinda line plot, with humans at the center and all the other races around it, only with numbers. Humans would be a zero, and all the other races would be the specific numbers around it. Zero would be the average, the Normal.

you could do that if you like.. I see only one race likely to be physically weaker than humans and thats fairies but wouldn't it make more sense to scale from 1-10 and make humans 5 for average? or... I could come up with what I would call an example for you if you like and pm it..

Anything you can do would be much appreciated. I haven't made an RP in this detail, so trying to make a strength ratio is new to me. The purpose is to make a basis for what people can follow. I don't want strength on completely different levels despite being the same race. A 1 to 10 scale will be perfect. Thank you!!

Fairies: .5-1 Meaning a rough five to ten pounds lift ratio this is without magic. Fairies rarely get bigger than four to five inches so I'm literally giving them a lot of strength for their size.

(BTW curious on your size ratio you have dwarves as bigger than humans and elves smaller.... Dwarves are usually considered tall if they go over 4 foot and elves are usually a little taller than the average human by about two inches...

Dwarves: 8 Dwarves are pack horse midgets. They have the strength of an ogre and the size of a goblin. Beings of the Earth and hardy good folk.

Humans: 4-6 Some humans are much weaker than others the average being five yet many humans dont do hysical works instead focusing on magic or mental works, the significant differance in strength physically is not seen in any other races.

Elves: 6-7 Elves are naturally physically more adept than humans but a tiny bit less than Dwarves. This allows them to focus on magics without the sacrifice seen in human life.

Argonian: 5-6 Argonians are the same strength as a human by nature if only able to lift five pounds more than the human of same physical capacity. They are reptilian though so they dont need as much work to get stronger.

Draconian: 7-8 Draconians have the blood of their ancestry flowing within. However due to the loss of the true dragons powers they are not quite as strong yet still enough to arm wrestle with the dwarves.. and mostly loose.

Vampire: 7 Vampire shave the strength of the undead. Super powerful for most mortals but when compared to the races of stronger physical physique it's about the same.

Werewolves: 8-9 Werewolves are monstrous wolves, many fear them for their strength as is. Their speed and strength is virtually unstoppable by vampires, hence their mortal enemy in existence.

Dragons 10+ Their massive size alone dictates their physical strength is off the charts. A swing of the tail could fell a giant.

I like the list. cat_3nodding It's similar to mine I notice. I have ten as the absolute strongest nothing stronger, and one as the weakest. The only difference are the Draconians. I noticed that the name 'draconian' betrayed how different my version were from the basic draconian's that everyone knows, so I changed the name.

I don't think I mentioned that the Elves were shorter than Humans, and the Dwarves as tall if not bigger than humans. I said that the Elves were slimmer, but I don't think I gave an actual height as I did the Dwarves. --Okay, I checked it out on a medical site, I was totally mistaken. The height I placed was not the average it said for small people with dwarfism. Turns out, the average height is 4'0, but the typical height is between 2'8 to 4'8. I was fix this right away. XD

Well what you looked up is Dwarfism which is the genetic disorder or disease not a fictional graph on what a dwarf is.. Thought I would throw that out there.
