Noel had already been awake for an hour when the roosters crowed, it was her usual routine to wake up and take care of the livestock early in the morning. After adding feed and water to all of the pens next door, she returned home and began cooking breakfast for her and her brother, who was still in bed as usual. He never seemed to amaze Noel, sleeping in until almost noon some times if she didn't wake him up. Today was going to be no different. After putting some eggs on a plate, along with a few strips of bacon for each of them, she walked down the hall and knocked on the Leon's door.
"Brother, breakfast is ready. Get your lazy butt up."Noel said through the door, her voice soft but loud enough to wake him up. After a few moments, some groans and moans could be heard along with the shuffle of blankets. Noel rolled her eyes, and turned to walk away. "Your food will get cold if you don't hurry." She walked back to the kitchen and sat down to eat her own food.
Leon woke up to his sisters call. Pulling the covers over his head, he groaned and the rolled over towards the wall. Morning were not his favorite time of day, and unlike his sister, he needed a decent amount of sleep. After his sister had called a second time, he gave a big grunt and rolled onto his back before sitting up. "Okay, okay. I'm up, you brat." Swinging his legs over the bed, he got up and walked to his closet to pick out his clothes before getting dressed.
Leon exited his room, pulling the door shut, and walked down the hall to the kitchen as he tried to smooth over his bed head. With a yawn, he sat down at the table where his sister was sitting with an empty plate and drinking her milk. He made a groaning sound as he looked at the very crispy bacon, and the scrambled eggs were no surprise to him as Noel wasn't very good at cooking. With a hefty sigh, he began to eat slowly while his sister got up to wash her plate. "I feel sorry for anyone that wants to live with you. Pray to the deity that they know how to cook, because you might kill them with this garbage."
Leon dodged a dish towel that was thrown at him, and continued to eat his 'garbage'. His sister glared at him with her cheeks puffed out, and then snorted. "Let's hope the poor girl you get married to doesn't run away because of your attitude." Noel retorted, and then retrieved the towel and put it by the sink before walking outside. Leon sat there and laughed to himself, finishing his food and washing his plate when he was done. Noel went out into the pasture and began brushing the horses, while Leon decided to walk about town and see if anyone else was up.

Cinder had tossed and turned all night, the nightmares of things that involved her that she had no memory of. This seemed to happen every week at least once, and this made her very tired throughout the day. The caws of the roosters snapped her out of her dreamland, and she bolted up right in her bed, sweat pouring down her forehead. She drew her knees up to her chest, laying her face into them, and sobbed a few times before shaking herself into the new day.
Cinder got dressed, and walked over to the kitchen to make some eggs and toast in the frying pan. Sitting down at her small kitchen table, she started out the window of the second floor and ate as she spaced out. Taking a sip of juice, she snapped out of her trance and shook her head. Getting up and washing her plate, Cinder walked down the stairs into the Town Hall and unlocked the door. Walking out onto the small porch, she gave a hefty sigh and then looked up at the rising sun.
Do her usual routine, Cinder made her way to the mountain, walking down the winding path. She eventually found herself at the Deity Cafe and tapped on the front door. The mayor peered in the giant window next to the door, looking for any sign that Hiro, or even Kyo for that matter, were about and up this morning.

Alice sat at her dining table, the window next to her open as a soft breeze blew into her kitchen. It was spring time, the outside day reflecting what spring meant. Sunny days with soft breezes that made flowers flow in a rhythmic pattern. The girl had already done her morning routine; bathe, get dressed, braided hair and made breakfast. With a deep breath and a soft smile on her face, the female finished her cup of coffee, placing the dish into the sink. Eating her toast, Alice placed on her shoes before walking down the stairs to her shop, a smile and soft blush as she crunched the heated bread in her teeth. Taking a deep breath, she flipped the sign that hung in front of the door window, leaving it on the side that said "open."
Alice then began to start displaying her flowers. Of course she had all the seasonal flora; lavender, tulips, hyacinth and pinkcat flower. She even grew strawberries to use in her cooking or just a quick snack to nom on during the day. Slowly, Alice placed flowers in their own section, always having a vase of the plant displayed with a small card in front of it with its name. Then taking a brown broom that sit in the back corner of the shop, she began to sweep out any dirt and dust that had been laying on the white tile that lined the floor. Now it was just time to wait for customers to come. Lately though, people haven't really been coming. How was she supposed to take care of her shop if she hardly had any customers?

Kuro walked into town in an exotic looking hooded robe, as he took his first few steps into the town he took a deep breath in relief as the small town air., soon after two figures in similar robes appeared almost out of thin air adjacent to him, but remained quiet. after a few moments of what seems like them making sure the coast was clear and no one watching then they turned back to Kuro and one of them began to speak.
"Alright Kuro this is the village you were assigned, you think you can handle settling down?" they said almost jokingly before Kuro could respond they continued"you do know his Kid lives here right?"Kuro raised an eyebrow in confusion but right before he was going to inquire the other figure shoved the one that was talking and said" enough! he doesn't need to know....all he need to know is that this is where he's stationed" as much as Kuro wanted to inquire about the child, he knew it wasn't his place to ask. so he just nodded in confirmation"good now, if I'm correct the inns over then..."the figure nodded in the direction of the inn"Now here are your starting goods..." he said then handed him a small lock box"now this is where we part...good luck..." the figure said then they both vanished. Kuro sighed then lowered his hood as he stepped out the shadows and walked toward the inn and stepped in
as he stepped in it was still quiet early but some people where seen at the tables eating Kuro walked past the table section and walked up to the counter and rang the bell. and waited for someone to answer.

As per usual, the Innkeeper was up before the sunrise cleaning the open areas of the large building. Ever since it was left in his care, he has been particular about keeping it clean. As more of the guests started leaving for the cafe or bringing food from the market and eating at the tables, the inn keeper packed away the broom and began doing wake up calls as well as checking in. on guest rooms.Everyone who didn't live in Hazelwood stayed here at the Hazelwood Inn, standing nearly since Hazelwood's founding it was important as the new residents of the village would stay there before the architect, Leon, completed their house. After doing a check through of the inn, he made it his way to the front of the inn to go through his books. He was lucky as the bell he set up rung, signalling another guest checking in.
It was an odd person when compared to the rest of the guests. With black hair, red eyes, a symbol on his forehead and wearing robes, Vente couldn't comprehend what he was doing in Hazelwood. "Hello." he said as he passed by him and walked behind the counter, placing the notebook he held away before attempting to smile. He wasn't very good at it since it came out as more of a smirk, but he tried to do it with every guest like his parents did. "Welcome to Hazelwood Inn. Checking in with a notice or sudden?" he asked, as some sent letters ahead to reserve rooms for their trip. "Or perhaps you are looking for information?"

as the man walked past Kuro and behind the counter Kuro felt strange but brushed it off, as the man addressed him, Kuro cleared his throat then looked up at the man and tried to make eye contact with him but then immediately shifted his eyes in another direction, just trying to avoid eye contact instead."umm,uh, hey...yeah...I suppose both..." he said responding to his second question first then suddenly realized he forgot about the first."oh,oh, and sudden...I suppose.."he said now worried that the guy may think he's an idiot."um, hey listen I just...you know like this, uh...town...its, uh, its different and nice...just wondering if I can find a place to move in...that, and of course...I um, you know need a place to stay till then heh, heh..."he said as he lowered his head in embarrassment at how much he can't help but stumble on his words
As usual, Kyo woke up early, doing a few stretches before getting dressed and heading down into the kitchen. Making himself toast and then making another two pieces and putting them on a plate as he finished up, adding cheddar and apple slices onto it. Grabbing onto the plate, Kyo set out to the shrine, his usual routine.
Once at the shrine, Kyo walked inside and placed the plate of Apple cheddar toast down on the alter before lighting the increases that sat on the table. He then sat on one of the pillow seats, his legs tucked underneath him and brought his hands together in front of him and closing his eyes. His father had taught him everything that he needed to know in order to keep the shrine at it's best condition and going through the prayers of the shrine keepers, known only to the Itsuku family.
Hearing a small crunch as he finished his prayers, Kyo looked up seeing Hirokumi biting into the toast he had brought. Hirokumi smiled warmly as he finished one of the pieces of toast "Kyo!! Today's the day, right?!" Hirokumi asked excitedly. Kyo stood up and lightly rubbed the deity's head"Yeah, you made me promise remember? I just have to finish up things here, then we'll drop by the cafe." Kyo spoke making Hirokumi's tails move happily behind him.
It had been about a month that Kyo had been teaching Hirokumi about more modern things and teaching him how to blend in. Honestly, Kyo was still a bit nervous about the whole thing, but he was loyal to the little deity, and as his ancestors before him, he would do anything that the deity requested.
Going off into one of the back rooms where only the keeper was allowed to go, Kyo grabbed a few emas. The wooden plaques, clanked together lightly as he picked them up and brought them back out, placing them down on a wooden table with the left over emas from the other day. An ema was used for people to write down a prayer or a wish, then it would be hung up on the strings that went around the inside of the tree.
Feeling a tug on his arm, Kyo looked down to see Hirokumi "Come on, that was all you had to do for today, right?" Hirokumi asked excitedly his white ears flicking happily. Kyo smiled a bit and gave a small nod "Yeah, we'll head back to the cafe now before we set out into the town. I want to go over a few things with you first." Kyo spoke calmly. Hirokumi made a small pouting face but quickly cheered back up as he led the way out of the shrine and back over to the cafe.
Spotting Cinder at the door of the cafe, Hirokumi ran over a giant smile on his face. "Cinder! Cinder!! Guess what! Kyo said that I can explore the town today!" Hirokumi said energetically his tails going wild with excitement. Kyo followed behind him and unlocked the door to the cafe and nudging Hirokumi inside not wanting anyone to see him in his deity form.
Once they were all inside, Kyo bowed to Cinder "It's good to see you again. Hirokumi and I just need to go over a couple things before we head out. Feel free to join us if you like." Kyo spoke calmly before turning his attention back onto Hirokumi, who was shifting his weight back and forth waiting to dash out the door.

The man seemed nervous, definitely not familiar with others. "I see. Welcome to Hazelwood. I can prepare your room if you would like to see the town. I highly suggest visiting the cafe as well as the town hall for information. I will also send a message to the architect if you wish to visit him." he said, bringing out several papers for the room, setting them into two piles. "Would you prefer a large or small room during your stay?" he asked as he held a hand over each pile. "My name is Vente Brushwood by the way, if you need me during your stay."
With a soft smile as her name was called, Cinder turned to look at the deity. She watched as Hiro's ears twitched happily and his tails swayed excitedly, the smile still on her face as she spoke. "Is that so? How exciting." She had to choke down her fright of speaking around others for a moment, causing her voice to waver only the slightest. Talking around Kyo wasn't as bad, seeing as how he was a member of the shrine keepers and was around all the time. But something just always seemed to... catch her tongue, so to speak, when she talked with the rest of the village.
Stepping into the cafe behind the boys, the mayor looked around. It was always quite nice in here, though there always seemed to be visitors around. It was nice for Cinder to actually be able to stroll around the shop without having an anxiety attack from the amount of people. "Oh, of course." She said to Kyo, nodding softly as he spoke about needing to speak with the deity.

With a stretch towards the sky, Leon took his long strides around the village. The fresh, crisp spring air was nice, the architect taking in a nice huge breath. Another day, a new year, what to do today. He pondered to himself as he came to an intersection in the walkway. He did a small spin on his heels, looking back at their house and then looking in the direction of the beach. "There's an idea." He said, the flower shop catching his eye. Let's go visit Alice this morning.
With a few quick strides, the man had arrived at the florist's boutique. The smell of all the spring time flowers wafted out of the door, the smell making it's way into Leon's nose. With a small smile, which for some reason looked more like a smirk, he walked up the step and walked into the shop. "Good morning, Alice. Set up shop already?" He looked around, all the beautiful flowers the girl grew herself were decorating the shelves nicely, filling the air with their aroma.

Stepping into the early morning air caused him to shiver slightly due to the change from his hot but comfortable heat of his forge to the slightly chilled air. "Well it's a new year i wonder what will happen?" he mumbled to himself as he started his walk after locking his door and flipping the sign to show ~Closed~

Kuro nodded at Vente suggestions to the to visit the to towns cafe."umm...okay...uhhh, I mean...yeah...I suppose send him a request for a meet up."Kuro felt really uneasy around everyone...he obviously stood out a can see he was being stared at by the other guest. but tried his best to ignore it."heh um room size...well uhhh..."Kuro thought about it for a moment and he didn't need to the extra room he didn't have much, so their was no reason for a large room, besides he may need to save the money he has for the house he needs to obtain.."well I'll go with the small room I suppose, its just me after all...no need for all the space" he said then chuckled nervously
Kyo & Hiro Feeling Tad nervous | Excited Location Cafe | Cafe with Hirokumi and Cinder | Kyo and Cinder!!
As Cinder said that she would come along with them, Hirokumi's eyes lit up glad to have his friend coming along. The only people he knew in the town were Kyo and Cinder, he always loved their company. "Yes! Adventure!" Hirokumi cheered excitedly raising a tiny fist into the air.
Kyo rubbed Hirokumi's head"Calm down for a moment. One, change to your human form. Two, what name are you going to introduce yourself as. Three, who do you have to stay with. Four, no using magic that will raise suspicion onto you." Kyo spoke looking down at the deity. A small white light surrounded Hirokumi and a moment later it dimmed and vanished revealing Hirokumi in his human form. His eyes remained the same as they always had when Kyo worked with Hirokumi on his human form, but since no one knew the eye colors of the deity, with the exception of himself and Cinder, Kyo figured it would be alright.
Smiling up at Kyo he answered the questions "I use the name Hiro and if anyone asks I'm your cousin and I'm here because...umm" Hiro squinted a bit as he tried to remember. "Oh! Because I asked my parents if I could come here instead of staying home with my uncle until they returned home. And I have to stay with either you or Cinder." Hiro recited glad that he had remembered.
Kyo nodded "Very good, Hiro." he praised feeling a bit more relaxed about bringing Hiro out into the town. Even if anyone brought up how Hiro's name was similar to the deity's, Hiro was a fairly common name in their heritage, so they could just use that. Turning his attention onto Cinder he spoke calmly "Have you eaten yet? I can make something if you would like."
