Sakura smiled as he led her to the restaurant and helped her to sit down. "What kind of food do they have here, Zek?" She asked as she couldn't see the menu that waiter gave them. She could read braille but this place didn't have any braille menus. Sakura knew that Zek would help her decide though. Akiza was in her lap enjoying herself while her other pokemon were in their pokeballs since they had been picked up before they went to dinner. Sakura had water to drink not wanting to not be able to sleep from the sugar in a soda and be too tired to perform.

Zek Terron
Zek sat down next to Lucario, across from Sakura. Taking a menu from the waiter, he placed it down in front of him and smiled a bit as Sakura asked about what foods they had here. "They've got plenty of different things here, all of which are good." Zek said with a small chuckle. He then started going through the menu stating some of the items that Sakura might want. The two had been travelling together long enough for him to know some of her likes and dislikes.
The waiter came back with their waters not long after, placing the drinks down on the table. "You good to order, or want to go over the menu a bit more?" Zek asked not wanting her to feel rushed about giving the waiter their orders. Beside him, Zek could feel Lucario shifting a bit in his seat as he tucked his legs beneath him.

Sakura smiled and said "Well the sushi sounds great. I'll have that please." She said smiling as Akiza went up to Lucario and snuggled up to her big brother sleepily. Sakura knew Akiza would be fine with Lucario since she never went far or got in anyone's way. After Sakura ordered her food, she had to wonder what Zek would get.

Zek smiled a bit as Sakura ordered her food and Akiza worked her way to Lucario's lap. Letting the little pokemon get settled in his lap, Lucario started gently petting her, his own ear twitching a bit. Zek turned his attention to the waiter "I'll have the rice ball plate." Zek stated cheerfully. It was one of his favorites at this place. It was a couple different rice balls in one meal, always fun, always good.
Leaning back in his seat a bit, Zek gave Lucario a pat before his attention shifted onto Sakura. "Once we get back to the pokemon center, let your contest pokemon out so I can get them into top condition before you all go and win." Zek chuckled. He knew what kind of things the judges looked for in pokemon, from their nature to the care of their fur or skin. "Oh and we still need to figure out the escort ordeal." Zek added. He would hate it if Sakura went out alone and ended up getting hurt, some battles could get kind of intense, and with the Grand Festival coming up people won't be holding back.

Sakura smiled she heard the waiter say "of course." and heard him walking away. "You sure do love those rice balls." She said with a giggle. Then she heard hims say when they get back, she was to let her contest pokemon out. "Of course. You're always thinking of new ways to help me and I can't tell you how much I enjoy your company. I know it sounds cheesy......but I do mean it." She said before hearing him add something about the escort ordeal. "Don't worry I'm sure we can find out somehow before the contest starts." She said happily.
Akiza's tail was wagging happily as her big brother pet her. Akiza had a way of being really cute when the situation was right. She then rolled onto her back giggling trying to make everyone smile.

Zek smiled a bit and let out a small embarrassed chuckle as Sakura stated that she enjoyed his company. "Hey, rice balls are good." he laughed "I like having you around too, much more fun than traveling alone." Zek chuckled. Lucario turned to Zek for a moment and Zek raised his hands a bit shaking them "No... Lucario, you know what I mean. Besides all of you guys." Zek said, Lucario smirking a bit, Zek rubbed Lucario's head as Lucario turned his attention back onto Akiza who let out a tiny giggle.
Zek smiled a bit, happy that the two of them got along so well, his attention shifted back onto Sakura as she talked about the escorting. He gave a small nod "Yeah, but I'm not going to stop worrying about it. After all, you can't win contests if you get injured." Zek teased. Even if him or Lucario couldn't walk her out, they would be backstage with easy access to get to her. That was the only thing keeping him calm at the moment. Lucario should be fast enough to react to any danger about to hit her, plus with Umbreon out there, he could use his teleport to quickly get back to her side.

Sakura smiled, giggling a bit as she could sense what was going on. Then she heard what he said about not being able to win contests if she was to be injured. "I agree. I'm sure they'll allow it, though. They usually do if I show them my contest pass." She said smiling as she heard the waiter returning after getting their drinks ready before saying "Your food should be ready in a few minutes." and going to check on their food.

Zek chuckled with a smile crossing his face, "Yeah, they should be alright with it. Besides it's not like we're actually going to be performing or anything." Zek laughed. As the waiter returned with their waters and placed them on the table, Zek gave a small nod of thanks before the waiter left. Taking a drink of his water, Zek trailed off a bit into thought. If he remembered correctly, this contest would give Sakura her fifth ribbon which will let her enter the up coming Grand Festival, a big contest that some of the best coordinators attended. In the Kanto region, it is held at the Indigo Plateau.
That thought was what hit him, the Indigo Plateau not only held the Grand Festival, it was also the location of the elite four. Zek choked a bit on the water he had been drinking, making Lucario quickly turn to him in worry. He hadn't told Sakura yet.... maybe if he called them ahead of time...
Trying to compose himself, Zek let out a nervous chuckle and rubbed Lucario's head. "Just went down the wrong pipe. Don't worry." he stated only to get a questioning glare from Lucario, though a moment later he dropped it, turning his attention back onto Akiza as he gently pet her. Looking back over at Sakura, Zek smiled "So did you want to go over anything before the contest tomorrow?" he asked curiously. He wanted to make sure that she felt comfortable and confident going into this contest. If she felt to nervous the pokemon and the judges will likely take notice.

Sakura heard him choking on the water a bit and asked "You sure you're okay?" She the heard him ask if she wanted to go overt anything before the contest. She was secretly working on something in his Honor to use in the grand festival. She hoped it would show her true feelings. She could sense that it was almost ready from what she could hear. Ohe hoped he'd love it and get her true feelings. "I don't think so. With your help, I feel everything is ready." She said smiling as their food came a few minutes after she said that.

Zek let out a small chuckle "Yeah I'm good, don't worry." he stated rubbing the back of his neck a bit. As the waiter placed their food down, Zek took another sip of his water as Sakura explained that she felt ready to compete. It was good to hear that she felt confident in her upcoming performance, she worked hard to get where she is. Taking a bite out of one of the rice balls, Zek smiled a bit before holding it over to Lucario who gently took it in his paw. Taking a small bit off, Lucario held the bit down to Akiza to see if she wanted it while he bit into the remaining rice ball.
Zek couldn't help but to smile a bit, Lucario always seemed to take care of others, even though he tried to be the strong protector. Granted, Lucario is strong, but personality wise, he was actually pretty thoughtful. Turning his focus back onto Sakura, Zek spoke warmly "That's good to hear, I'm sure you'll do great. To your fifth ribbon!" Zek let out a small cheer giving his glass of water a small raise.
