Koru didn't want to show her face to them, not like this. She couldn't hide the tears as they fell from her face but hiding her eyes she couldn't see what the other girls were doing, how they saw her, what they thought. How could she let it get this far? Let it build up this much to where she would just burst into tears at the drop of a hat? She actually couldn't see what her friends were going to do, but she felt someone embrace her. She kept her eyes covered but stopped crying from surprise of the hug, now realizing it was Makoto and she was trying to comfort her. She confessed that Koru cared a lot and what happened back home wasn't her fault. Koru knew that it was her fault, she was the one who said all of those horrible things to Makoto. How she was so forgiving left Koru clueless, but this hug she was in- she didn't want an answer. She uncovered her face, but as she did Xia started talking to her, well more like she straight starting asking Koru questions about Ray. Koru didn't look at her, but asking if he was her friend she mumbled, "Yeah..." then she asked if Marcus was a friend too, but with that she didn't immediately answer until she said, "I...don't know...” That may not have been an answer to satisfy Xia for she started speaking in the most serious tone she had ever heard. It was true. Every word she said it was true. Koru had experienced all of this back home. The only thing she wasn't able to do back then was learn. She almost felt a smile when she called Makoto by the wrong name, that was the Xia she loved. She actually felt a little embarrassed hearing Xia say what was so good about herself, good thing she was using Makoto's hug to hide her face. Xia's voice lit up and Koru without thinking turned and looked at the pig-tailed girl, her face red and smeared with stray tears. She talked about when they first met and went on to say that they all need time, Ray needs it, Marcus needs, she needed it, because rushing in she could do a lot of wrong. She downcasted her eyes and thought aloud, "But...it doesn't seem like Ray is giving himself time...like something is eating at him faster than anyone can realize. Xia, Makoto....uh Ava! I don't want to lose any friends ever again!" All of her trying had been to keep her friends. She lost them back home and lose them now...it would all seem so worthless...Marcus and Elijah and them are idiots.

She explained how simple a solution it would be for all of them to just talk to each other, and honestly Koru saw that too, but there was something that wasn't so simple, "Yeah...I don't really want to either but Ray trusts him and I just have to live with that I guess. I really do want to talk but Eli is the only one that did talk to us...maybe that was a sign it could happen, now if our emotions wouldn't get in the way...!” Ava said Ray and Marcus ran off. She couldn't help but this but could something have happened? She did run off herself but she had no idea what would happen afterwards...Koru wiped her face and stood up, but her legs felt like noodles from how long she had been sitting. Cyndaquil rushed to her side and she picked him up. She wanted to find them...but it would be best to follow Xia's advice right now, plus there was another friend she didn't want to leave, "Let's...head back to the stadium. Thanks you guys...I know I may cry about this some more later but I'm so grateful to know you are there at my side,” she petted Cyndaquil on the head to let him know she meant him too. Her words still had a hint of sadness behind them, maybe because this problem was far from over, but she could only begin to describe the strength that these people were giving her without it even knowing it herself.
