OOC: "" It was almost futile to run now, given how close John was, but there wasn't much else to do with this hunter here. When the sound of water got louder, she started pulling him in its direction, explaining about the scent and the water. Letting her jump in on her own, something he wouldn't normally advise given the time and temperature, he stopped at the bank for a moment, looking back before jumping in as well. It was a great risk, the wolves would probably go after the village after losing them, and especially when they came upon the river. He already began swimming along the river in the direction of the village, trusting the hunter to do the same.
Once the couple got nearer to the village, the watermill came into sight. Seras started dragging himself out of the river, clasping the wound on his neck. The river didn't help to close the wound, and he lost the girl's cloak while swimming. Now that they were away, there was the threat that the wolves would follow the river to the town. If John was along with them, the town would not have the same odds as they would against a pack of werewolves. "I have to get out of here." The eastern sky was beginning to brighten up, but it was still night. Until the day came, the pack would still be hunting them.

Red swam alongside the man in silence. She was busy counting her breathes, trying to listen for possible signs of wolves in the forest. It must have been well past midnight now. All that running was starting to physically wear her down. She felt the potion in her saddle bag, she wold be no help to anyone if she did not get to a safe place soon in order to take them. She also needed more herbs to help heal her companion and find out why he was attacking wolves in the forest. Up ahead Red could clearly make out the river weaving into the village. She did not want to go straight there. What if the wolves continued to follow their scent? What if they went looking in the village? Red could not have the lives of innocent villagers on her conscious. Just then, as if it materialized out of her mind, Red noticed a small barn and farmhouse, on the out skirts of the village. Red swam swiftly towards the bank of the river determined to seek shelter in that dark farmhouse. "This way.." She called to her companion. Knowing her still needed medical attention. She hoped he would trust her instincts and follow her. She ran to the farmhouse... Upon further inspection after circling the property twice over she began to fully think it was in fact abandoned. She walked right up to the front door and picked the lock with pins from her hair... She opened the door to a very dusty parlor. She had to find matches or a lantern fast or else they would freeze. She slowly made her way through the house, dagger drawn ready to attack if need be. She found the stove and the fire wood and started to build it up so they could at least have the fire to work with for the rest of the night...

OOC: "" Waiting for the hunter to leave the river, he didn't know why he was following with her. She'd probably have a better chance without him nearby and she was essentially leading the pack closer to the breadbasket. Even as they approached one of the abandoned farmhouse, courtesy of the pack menacing the town, he was contemplating leaving her. She was way too considerate though, taking the time to circle the house before picking the lock. He felt like yelling at her for taking the time, like they didn't have a pack of werewolves hunting them down.
He pulled himself into the house, not minding the dark interior or the cold. While the hunter went of to do whatever it was she was doing, he stopped at the table of the house, pulling off his coat, shirt and belt to work on the wound. He needed to seal it better, so taking up his shirt, he wadded it and folded it against the wounds. With the belt, he strapped it around himself and pulled tight, pressing the cloth against the wound with constant pressure. It would at least prevent more blood loss. "You're crazy to be going into the forest this late at night." He said, with the silence of the house the hunter would hear it no matter which room she was in.

Phoenix347 Red started the fire in the fireplace of the main room of the house and began to peel off the layers of cold wet clothes. "I was crazy for going into the forest, but you were already out there, what does that make you?" she sneered. Red pulled the vials of potions from her satchel and started counting them. She took one without thinking about it, it was almost ritual for her to do so every night after every hunt. She carried two into the kitchen, where she found her companion with a make shift bandage strapped on his shoulder. She fished around in the cupboards and found some clean rags. She took one potion and dowsed the rags in it. "That will do you no good to close or heal your wound, try these." She handed him the rags and then another vial of potion. "You need to drink every last drop of that for it to work. But, trust me it will do you better then trying to let it heal on its own." She rummaged through the kitchen and found bits and pieces of things she could cook come light once she gathered water and other provisions from the village. She did find a small barrel of cider she decided two cups would be sufficient enough for the rest of the night and poured herself a good portion, before trying to pour some for her companion. She walked over and placed the cup down in front of him. "That is apple cider, and you can call me Red." She sat across from him..

OOC: "" "The largest fool of all time." It was the truth, he was an idiot for going out to the pack in the first place. If he had known the chain of events that would occur, he would have passed through the town like he intended. He was putting on his coat when the hunter came in, handign a rag and a vial filled with something. "Sorry, medicine makes me sick. Keep it." He left the vial on the table, but gave the rag a sniff. Finding it filled with something as well, he scrunched it beneath the padding to seep into the wound.
He was just testing the covering of his wound when the hunter set down a glass of cider in front of him, only to explain what it was and give her name. "I'm a fool, not an idiot." he said, gulping down the drink, setting the glass down and wiping his lips. "I don't care much for your name, I'm leaving here the first chance I get," He had to be blunt, he couldn't stay near her for any reason because of what he was, and she was commanding in her actions towards him despite just meeting.

Red rolled her eyes she sat there for a moment trying to relax before dawn. "Being blunt isn't going to get you anywhere, if you are not a hunter and the wolves are after you, I would rather keep you around till I get rid of the pack. Plus you are too wounded to try to continue to fight off the pack without any help you would die out there all by yourself." She stood up and began pacing around the kitchen, her thoughts going a million miles a minute. She needed to figure it out, figure out why the wolves would be chasing him... 'Could he be rouge? The only other explanation would be that he took out the Alpha and they want revenge.' "Whatever reason that the whole pack wants you dead is all your own, if you choose to stay close not only will you get help in killing off the wolves but, I get the pack brought out to me, making it easier to fill my bounty. Yes it is extremely dangerous but if I wanted fluffy bunnies I would not have become a hunter." She stopped and looked him up and down with that stern look on his face and that makeshift patch on his wound the belt strapped across his chest trying to gauge his reaction. "The choice is all yours.. It could be strictly business, until your healed enough and the wolves are dead then we can part ways."

OOC: "" "That's where you're mistaken. I'm not going to fight them. I'm running." He restated. He had no intention of remaining here despite what the Hunter believed or wanted. While she walked around in the kitchen, he adjusted the strap until it was settled and then fixed the rest of his atttirr, not minding the wetness of it. "Glad to have your approval. I'm leaving now, that's my choice. The further away i get the less likely they'll go after the villagers and the more time you have to hunt them. Problem solved." He started walking out as he spoke, stepping out of the house and checking the surroundings before stepping out.

"You are so stubborn, have it your way mister. But you wont get far with a wound like that!" Red called after him in a fit of frustration. She stomped around in the kitchen, huffing and puffing for a good few minutes. She was not going to chase anyone, no matter how much of an asset he could have been. Red was a hunter too prideful to be burned like that and sound hurt by it. She decided then she could not focus on it anymore if she found him passed out, it will be up to fate how she would treat him. She walked over into the other room with the fire and ate some slightly stale bread and finished her cider before dozing off, waiting for sunrise.

OOC: "" The hunter was too focussed on hunting the pack to Seras. and he was glad she didn't chase after him at first. He left the old house and starteed climbing through the faunus of the forest in an attempt to make it to the village. At least, if he was away from her, John wouldn't kill her. Over a hill and Seras had a good view of the village, nearly half an hour away by walking distance. He probably would have made it, if there wasn't a werewolf to tackle Seras. The patter and growl of more wolves surrounding him filled the area, but their distance from the village. "I told you not to run, you're a coward Seras!"
From the encirclement of wolves walked out a man, dressed like some barbarian with a wolf fur over him. "You wasted my night trying to find you, you didn't even make it fun!" He walked over, kicking Seras's face with one foot while making a stance like he kicked a ball. "And, Goal!" Such a relief to finally get you. Now I can add you to the string. Let's go, chop chop, up and at em boy!" he toyed, waving the werewolf to get off him and for Seras to stand up.
There wasn't much else to do but stand up and prepare for the match. He already dropped his coat and belt as he stood, which got a laugh out of John when the wound showed. "You're the biggest coward ever Seras, won't even fix a couple cuts. Now change!" the man flung off his fur, forcing his change. John was another alpha, so he grew to be taller than the werewolves around him, with greater mass and strength behind him, as well as a better endurance. The one thing that definded him as an alpha however was the clear streak of lighter fut cutting down his back in two rows.
He had no other option, Seras changed as well. Growing to a similar frame and height, the the easiest difference between the two was the shade of furs; John's a black and Seras' a gray. After a roar against one another, they charged and entangled themselves in a sprawl. The werewolves surrounding the two barked and scratched at the ground, cheering on their leader as the two beings wrestled for the advantage. The wound from earlier was rendered near mute thanks to the change, but it also took from him energy.

Red could not rest, she ended up tossing and turning. The goal was the bounty, why would she feel so foul in letting a nobody walk off wounded. She spent what felt like forever for her fighting off nightmares. She could hear her parents scream in her ears. 'We taught you better...' 'You have turned cold...' 'We did not want this life for you....' 'You need to make things right...' 'You need to go Red, GO....'At last Red stood up she had enough with the racket in her own head. "Fine, that is it, I am going into the woods at night in search of berries and if I come across some wolves I will fight them, and if I see the man I will save him.. Okay? Is that enough for you all?" She screamed into the dark air surrounding her. She started packing in her gear again, she reloaded her weapons and cleaned off her blade with the rage left on the kitchen table. She walked off into the hallway and grabbed a basket and the smallest lantern she could find. After it was lit, it looked like a small lightening bug in the vast dark that surrounded her in the earliest hours of the morning. She set off carefully closing the door behind her once more, as if she was never there. Red looked around considering it for a few moments the fields close by possibly held food but, she knew they were unkempt and she would have little luck finding something edible. She dashed off into the woods. At first she jogged around looking for the signs of fruit tress of bushes full of berries. She was in luck just ahead at the bottom of a hill she saw the bushes full of ripe berries. Almost instinctively she burnt out the lantern and closed in on the hill. That is when she heard it. She heard the growls above her. Cursing under her breath she filled the basket quickly and stashed both it and the lantern safely behind a bush. She looked up and began creeping up the hill. The closer she got the louder the noises were. She was careful to remain hidden in the underbrush stealth-full enough to get close to see what exactly was happening. That when she saw the number of wolves she was dealing with... 'Even these brute monsters were smart enough not to gather in large groups this close to the village for no reason......'

OOC: "" Practically tumbling like some pair of weasels in a frenzy, the two alphas scratched at one another, with some more human like punches or kicks mixed in. Mostly they were trying for an edge over each other, but neither was willing to submit just enough. All the while, the other werewolves howled and barked at the scuffle. Seras got just enough time to force John off of him, sending him over to the edge of the improvised ring.
As the darker werewolf regained its balance, Seras paced back and forth on his side of the ring. His opponent wasn't as patient, and as soon as he receded his disorientation, pounced towards Seras. Dodging from the pounce, Seras jumped onto him, scratching at him from on top. Attempting to grab him and stop the fury, John gained a chance and they entered another roll, slashing at each other. Most of their wounds however, kept regenerating. Only the largest of them stayed open for more than a few seconds.
This time, John found his chance and sent Seras to the side instead, although he caught himself in mid roll. The two entered a stand off for a third time, waiting for the other's move. Meanwhile, a the few werewolves on the outside of the circle had to keep moving to try for a better view of the match, constantly changing place in the surrounding pack. Once of them spotted the movement occurring in the nearby brush, and approached.

OOC: ""
When Red fired, the rest of the werewolves went silent and looked over to the origin, and the two alphas had a momentary pause to check the source. The pack swarmed like piranhas to Red, and John charged, putting the two Alphas back into combat, although instead f rolling they were slashing at each other trying to pin the other to the ground. While Seras was low on energy compared to normally, he wasn't any weaker than John. Unfortunately, he still had the remains of a wound from when he was bitten, to which John took advantage of.
Grabbing into it, the claws broke the flesh and sunk in, John using the shock of the pain to hold down Seras. Gloating in what he perceived to be his achievement, John roard to the sky. Knowing this, Seras wrapping his hand around John's wrist, squeezing and crushing the bones within, causing him to lose his grasp. Despite his attempts to save his hand with the surviving one, Seras sunk his own claws into the other arm. Now with the advantage, Seras maneuvered around to John's back, twisting the head from the body and ceasing his opponent's struggle.
Free now from his battle, Seras turned to the remaining werewolves attacking Red. While she handled herself, he grabbed two of the closest ones, finishing them off with his own hands easily. The surviving few restrained from attacking, retreating slowly, and a roar from Seras was all it took to remind them they also had the flight instinct, to which they listened to. Now surrounded by werewolves, it was just red and Seras in his form. Just looking over at her however, he proceeded back over to where he left his clothes, changing back down to his human form and covering himself.
