ᴇʟᴇᴀɴᴏʀᴀ ʙʟᴀɴᴄʜᴇᴛᴛ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ Eleanora had plucked another flower, this time it seemed to be lavender, and watched how long it would take for this to die. The new flower lasted just as long as the last one, that was good for her magic wise. It meant later on she wouldn't have to worry about some plants taking more magic then others and making it difficult to maintain. She heard laughing behind her. This human was asking for it. Annoying and a jerk what more could she ask when she "wanted" company around. She felt irritation start to make its ways onto her face, she shot him a look that summed up her irritated mood. Couldn't he go do something else now? "Of course there's a lot of work to do."
She could practically feel him breathing down her neck because of his close vicinity. It was laughable, him bringing up some idea of him staying. She opened her mouth to retort but the pure stubbornness he had made her hush herself before she even spoke. "If you must stay I'd prefer some quiet.. Unless you'd like to think of ways to save this garden of yours." Was he always going to be like this? While their betrothal was nothing more than a farce, to be bound to a brat for as long as he lived was stupid. Though that brought up the question.. When was the wedding? She knew it had to be soon and while plans were being taken care of by the Kings she wanted to know at least how long she'd have till she had to sleep next to this idiot. The idea of marriage to the human was anything but short on disgusting thoughts. She'd have to bare this idiot's children. The idea was truthfully terrifying to her, while her father may not really expect her to go as far as that the King of Toryn and The Prince would want to have heirs. Eleanora bit her thumb, she had a lot to contemplate about this marriage, thoughts that she had already spent days thinking about.. Whatever the case she should concentrate on the plants and think about other things later tonight.
Eleanora shook her head at his question, he didn't need to know anything about what went on in her head. "What do you think I'm thinking about." She rolled her eyes, "Of course it's worth the thought! Do you humans really care nothing for your land? Things wouldn't have gotten this bad if you humans actually cared about things." Humans had put no effort into taking care of their country, all they wanted was more and more. The carelessness of their ways made the young Fae angry. It was another one of the many reasons she hated the humans, they didn't care about anything. "I'm going to have to live here whether I like it or not and I might not enjoy it but I will not allow myself or my people to live in such a deprived land like this." Her reason? Did she need to explain her reasons more to him? Couldn't he at least use his brain for once? Though while he didn't know much about her it should have been self-explanatory that she would care because she was a Fae, and Fae were in tune with nature. Then again maybe that was some information that was kindly left out when the King told the prince about her kind. "The sooner this is solved the sooner I can work on bigger things. I'm not just here for looks despite what you think.." While she spoke she crossed her arms, she was infuriated. Humans understood so little. "If I can't even bring a garden like this to life again then I'd rather not be a Fae. Something so easy as this, for a royal even, it'd be embarrassing if I couldn't do it." While she was annoyed in having to explain just a small part of her motives she was reinvigorated to do better and to do things faster.
She turned and made her way to back into the castle. "Where am I sleeping? I'd like to get my things organised before the day is too late." She looked around for a maid. She'd need to request some paper and ink so she could write a letter to her father asking for the catalysts. The sooner she got them the better. Who knew how long she had before the humans changed their minds on having friendly feelings towards the Fae. Spotting one she offered the human girl a smile. "Excuse me. I'd like to ask you to bring some paper, ink, and a quill to my room." The maid curtsied as she was talked to, lowering her head in servitude to the Fae. "Of course Princess." Eleanora smiled and continued walking as the maid scurried off. While the maid might not have been meant to fetch her errands she needed someone to do it.
"And since we're asking each other questions then I'll make this my turn." She looked back at the Prince. "How come you never thought of doing something for your land? And why are you humans so irrationally against magic?" She had always wondered what stemmed the hate for magic users from the humans but it was a question that even her father couldn't answer her on so what better then asking a human himself.

╔════════════════════════════╗ Vale Alphonsus Lytton ╚════════════════════════════╝ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ Vale simply shrugged. Thinking of a way to save the garden? He couldn't care less, really. The servants were the ones who took care of such things, not him. If fact, he didn't do much around the kingdom that was positive. The advisors or elites did all of the common people stuff. It just wasn't his problem. If anything, the garden was mainly for the resting queen of Toryn, Vale's mother. In her dying days, she spent all of her time in this garden playing with the petals of the many flowers and sitting dormant on a nearby bench, feeling the gentle wind. It was her favorite place within the castle. Vale remembered watching her while leaning on the castle's pillars or when he would pass by her on his horse heading to the stables. He recalled that peaceful look that rested on her face when she sat out here. Vale hadn't been in the garden since her death, he just simply told the servants to keep up with it like she did. But, of course, even that was too much of a task for them considering the rest of their busy days and our lack of resources. In a way, Eleanora was like her. Minus the bitterness and the superiority complex.
Hearing her voice shook him from his thoughts. Did he look like a mind reader? There she went, talking about humans like they were trashy heathens. "Well, princess. As you can see, we can't perk up the land by simply blowing on dirt and flinging it around." He scoffed, didn't she know they had other, more important, tasks to come about nowadays? We don't have the abilities to just use magic on everything. This ridiculous Fae had no idea of the hard work would have to struggle through trying to keep up with the kingdom grounds.
Her talk was actually becoming annoying. Bigger things, she says. What else could she possibly be working on? All she needed to be here for, was to be Vale's wife. Nothing more. Right? Vale furrowed his brows in curiosity but, simply dismissed it and kept it in the back of his head. She says repairing the garden is so easy, yet the flowers crumbled under her touch. Perhaps she was just going to keep wasting her time trying, then.
It seemed she had read his thoughts since she immediately turned and made her way back inside the Toryn structure. He followed her past the pillars, and glanced back at the garden with a solemn look on his face. He missed her. He turned back again and smirked, "Perhaps you can sleep with me tonight, princess? We are soon to be married so, why not start now?" He said playfully. He watched her from a small distance, talking to a maid. Why exactly did she need the maid? Whatever it was, she could have easily told her future husband. As he got closer, all he made out was ink and a quill. She was planning to write something, it seems. From the looks of it she was probably planning to contact her father about her trip. At first he thought maybe Fae could talk through their minds and whatnot but asking her that would probably be stupid. At this point, he was starting to disbelieve the stories he'd heard around Toryn since apparently, as stated by the princess, they aren't entirely true.
Before the maid could scurry off, he snapped his fingers, which was an instant alarm stating to pay attention. He gestured with his lips "My room." and waved his hand once, dismissing her. Afterwards, he sent his attention back to the Fae. The prince waltz over to her and began to play with her hair. "Well, probably because I have something better to do then give all of my energy trying to do the impossible." He paused, releasing the girl's locks and placing his hands in his pockets. "Try placing yourself in our shoes, and I'll try placing myself in yours. Humans do not have special abilities, nor are we able to shape up the land in a matter of hours, days, weeks even. We simply do not have the time to spend on the land. We have the people, the politics, and all sorts of other events that must be dealt with. I'm sorry if that is such an rude offense towards you and the Fae but that's just how it is. Perhaps when...or if our kingdom's truly reunite then maybe you can suggest your witty ideas to the world and maybe the people will listen. But as of now, there's only so much we could do. " He spoke this in a tone of sobriety. Hopefully she would clearly understand that humans weren't just a bunch of chimps flinging dung at one another and acting like beggars.
As for her other question, Vale could only shrug at the moment. Magic in the eyes of a human was just abnormal. Of course, the average child has heard stories, not of the Fae, but about mystical creatures that were able to do many things with magical abilities. And with the hearing of magic, we are completely absorbed by assumptions. And with this magic, all humans knew deep down that the Fae were always a threat, regardless of the peace we once had. A race with abilities that could be used against humans was simply terrifying. And with this thought, Vale couldn't simply leave the princess with just a shrug. She would be livid.
As Vale gathered his words he looked her in the eyes. "I shall tell you some things that humans fear most. We fear the loss of freedom, the unknown, and death. Fear is what protects us from these threats. And I believe fear is what created those misbeliefs about your kind. We don't know all that you can do or all that you will do. " Vale ended, giving a deep sigh and looking off no where in particular. "Perhaps this marriage is a good thing. I'm sick of this absurd dispute between kingdoms. It's like watching two children bicker. It's honestly a waste of energy. " He said this, a bit under his breath as if speaking to himself. After this he dragged his gaze back to the princess and smiled. "What bigger things have you had in mind, princess? I'm quite curious." He asked returning to his playful tone.

ᴇʟᴇᴀɴᴏʀᴀ ʙʟᴀɴᴄʜᴇᴛᴛ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ Eleanora rolled her eyes, of course she new humans couldn't do things like sh could but they never seemed to pay attention to things until it was too late. She wanted to make a retort but couldn't, maybe she was just tired with the conversation or maybe she was just tired of bickering with him. Whatever the case she remained silent and continued walking. Where was she heading? She didn't know this castle and yet here she was trying to lead herself around. While she had made her wanting of the knowledge known he had yet to tell her and so here she went heading up the stairs towards the bedrooms. Humans really did annoy her and for the first time in a long time she wished the day was over so that she could have one day closer to her goal achieved. The sooner she got things done the sooner she could relax. Relax? No, there was still to much to do to relax. Even if she was to finish trying to get Fae power into the Toryn system she'd have to deal with stifling the council and their talk of how her younger sister should be the one to be in line for the thrown, right before her brother and then her. The idea was amusing but none the less it made sense. Their mother was currently ruling Queen and had been making an impression on the council more than what her own mother had done. Eleanora and the ruling Queen didn't exactly see eye to eye and it was a fact that might become apparent to even the humans when they witness their interactions. It would have best if the Queen could have just stayed in Toryn and not bother her with her thoughts but seeing as the King couldn't leave Toryn and the Queen could she was stuck with the ruling lady.
She stopped to a dead halt when he next set of words came from his mouth. His jokes were getting more and more unwanted. She was have horrified already in having to marry him but to just casually joke around and say she should sleep with him was something she was not going to tolerate. Rather it be just sleeping next to him or sleeping with him in that sort of way she wasn't going to do. She wanted privacy first of all and secondly they hardly knew each other. Sleeping next to some stranger was not how she planned to spend her nights, nor was she wanting to give him the chance of doing something even as a joke. "No!" The sudden yell was shocking even to Eleanora, clearing her throat she tried to reanswer that joke of his. "No." She left it at no. She didn't want to explain that even she had fears and concerns of her own. She reached the flight of stairs from earlier and climbed them.
They had made it up the stairs but it seemed the Prince wasn't done with his jokes just yet. She found him uncomfortably close to her and before she could draw back his hand was in her hair. She froze next to him. What was he planning? He started to answer her questions at an uncomfortable. While he was stating the human opinions on their land she sighed, tilting her head away from him. He was suffocating her with his close presence, she hadn't been one for close contact and even as a child that was true. While he may have thought nothing of it her mind was busy trying to find ways to escape from him. While she could just push him away her hair was still in his grasp and so the idea was put aside. "You wouldn't have had to worry about the care of your land if you hadn't been so rude to us..." She couldn't stop the remark as it grumbled past her lips. She sounded like some upset child who wasn't getting her way. Though the seriousness f his tone was something new. Almost all throughout the tour and the time here he had been all for jokes and having an idiot disposition but he was now showing he had a more serious side to him. Though the shock wasn't done just yet.
Human fears. It wasn't something she expected to hear so soon but it was something important that she would need to keep in reference. They hadn't known what the Fae were capable of? Hadn't they made it clear what Fae could and couldn't do? His seriousness on the matter gt deeper as he explained how he was in favor for the marriage somewhat. Him? He was in favor? The idea seemed absurd. He was all for trying to irritate her and yet here he was saying he was for the two joining together in a hope that the two countries might get along. Though what seriousness he had must have been a ploy to get her off guard long enough to ask her his next question. The foolish tone was back and she made quick eye contact with him to see what remains of his mature self were left. She sighed and slowly pulled away from him, slipping her hair out of his grasps, she wanted her space back. "This marriage is only a step towards me getting what I want.. If I can make this arrangement work then the council of Zimid won't question my right to be Queen." She crossed her arms as she thought back to her sibling's mother and the council. "Why am I even telling you this like you'd get it?" She mumbled and started to walk away. While that wasn't exactly the reason she was here it was a better reason that made more sense than just flat out saying 'Yeah I'm going to make sure Fae power is here in Toryn.'
"I'm sure you won't completely understand what I'm saying but it doesn't matter." She paused should she even go into more detail? It was irritating she had to explain her motives to him but he just told her his own thoughts on the marriage. 'Just this once will be fine...' She sighed and tried to think of ways to word herself in her next few sentences. "For Zimid our heirs are firstly female. Because of our generally somewhat short lives we are chosen first because of the wisdom the people feel we get. If there are two hiers that are female, age is a factor but the surviving Queen has a big say on who it's going to be unless overruled by the council. My sister's mother would much rather have her in power before me but I was already predetermined to be Queen before she was even married to my father. Because the Queen is going against already dictated things the council is being put in charge of who's going to be next in line." She took a moment to stop and look at the Prince, "So far they're mostly for my sister but if this marriage pulls through they'll be forced to see my side of the deal." The long winded talk ended with a steeled look before she began walking again. Half to tired from the small speech on her kingdom's throne tradition and half tired from the travel she marched her way to the Prince's room. She ultimately had no choice as she didn't know what room was hers and him telling her which one was, seemed not to be happening.
"I'm still not sleeping in here but for now it will suit my needs." She sat herself down on the bed. It felt good to sit down on something more comfortable than a couch seat but she couldn' get to comfortable. This was unknown territory and even more so this was his room. She really didn't want to be in here but her choices had been slim to none and walking around mindlessly wasn't something she wanted to do the rest of the evening.

╔════════════════════════════╗ Vale Alphonsus Lytton ╚════════════════════════════╝ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ This girl was truly something, wandering around as if she were the creator of the establishment. Vale simply leered at the princess and followed closely. She seemed to have remembered the bedrooms was upstairs, but Vale never said anything about the location of her room specifically, so she would be reaching her stopping point soon. Her reactions to his joke was hilarious. That is, until she yelled 'No' as if she had forgotten they were in a hollow castle. Her echo could probably be heard down the hall! When she did this, it completely startled him for a moment. Did she not know Vale was only joking? Did she reeeally have to yell? Regardless if she did or not, it still made Vale laugh a little. It didn't matter to Vale when she was going to allow it or not, she was going to have to do it someday! A Vale was certainly going to be happy with teasing her during that time. He almost couldn't wait!
He climbed the stairs after the young princess, noticing he desire to be at a distance from him. However, this only motivated Vale to get closer to the girl, seeing as she didn't like it. But, that thought was misplaced after hearing the words the girl spoke. Vale rolled his eyes in disbelief. Last time Vale checked, it was the Fae's doing which caused this war! He may not converse with his father on a daily basis, but the king actually spoke to Vale about the things the Fae have done. About why this war was to commence. Though Vale didn't agree with the war idea, he didn't like the information about the Fae. When talking to the King, Vale shurgged it off and allowed it to happen since it seemed the Fae had started it. Vale wish to retort but in a sense, arguing with her about who was right or wrong seemed like too much energy being wasted. He simply left it at, "Whatever you say, princess." and continued on along side her.
Soon, the princess had had enough of Vale's close proximity and pulled away from him. She then began to speak, answering another on of his questions. So she wished to be queen, huh? That was quite interesting. Vale didn't care for becoming king. Considering he is an only child, he had no choice to opt out either. Though, she was right. He didn't really get it at first. Her council chose the queen? He was pretty perplexed but he smiled at her, hands once again, in pockets. "If you explain it, I'll do my best, with the tiny human intellect I have, to understand your situation." He spoke, though sort of as a joke, he really was trying to understand. She heard her whisper, but couldn't quite make it out. Just as he was going to ask what she said, she began her explaination and Vale followed behind her and listened intently.
Vale's eyes widened a little. Females came first, that's quite a shocker. Vale was so used to living in a male-dominated society which surrounded the kingdom of Toryn. But, of course, Fae were quite different from us humans. This made Vale wonder what other differences did the Fae society have. They believed the females had wisdom. Wisdom! Then again, as a child he used to believe his mother was the wisest of them all so he couldn't completely disregard their beliefs. So she has siblings? A sister, no doubt. And the Zimid queen sounded like a pain. But from what he hears, this marriage is the fine line between who will become the next queen. As she turned around to look at Vale, he returned the gaze. But then she walked away again, as she always does before Vale could even utter a word. However, Vale's face twisted into a devious one. Though he was planning on telling her where she could sleep, she walked straight to his room at the end of the hall. Well, since she went there on her own, no need to steer her anywhere else..
As he entered right after her, the prince grinned. He waltzed over to the other side of the bed, at a bit of a distance and laid down, resting his hands behind his head and sighed with relief. He felt this was a good time to lazy down a bit. He's been walking all over the place with this female, he needed a bit of a rest. He closed one eye and kept the other on the princess. He sneered at her, " Why not? Were just two people, laying down next to one another. What's so wrong with that?" He said jokingly as he rolled over on to his stomach, resting on his elbows and looking at her with flirty eyes. Eyes that he hoped would make her gag at the sight. "I won't do anything, promise!" He paused, trying to choke down his laughter, "I may not look it, but even I have self control, princess." He said, continuing to jest with her. Though he was laughing, he knew his father would have him beheaded if the princess complained about his son harassing the princess on day one. Not that he would anyway.

ᴇʟᴇᴀɴᴏʀᴀ ʙʟᴀɴᴄʜᴇᴛᴛ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ The prince seemed a little shocked about her words, she wasn't surprised by his reaction really. History books and tales had shown that Toryn was more of a male dictated country unlike their Fae counterparts. If it wasn't for the fact that birth rates weren't high and the chances that the mothers actually survived were even lower the importance of females would mostly would have been similar to Toryns but things were the way they were and woman who survived the ordeal were regarded highly. They had lived through an event that many couldn't and had all rights to be thought more important. Eleanora herself had lost her mother to the high death rates that were implied with giving birth and while her two siblings had been beyond lucky to have a surviving mother and to have each other she was not going to allow something her mother had died for be taken from her. The Fae princess crossed her arms, to become Queen and install Fae power in Toryn. She had a busy schedule but it wasn't something she couldn't do, if she played things right she could achieve both in maybe a matter of years.
She watched as the prince laid down on the other half of the bed, his presence made the bed feel almost to small and brought his presence to close to hers once again. He was playing with her again "One I honestly don't trust you or even like you enough to think about sleeping next to you and second of all I'm rather keen on having personal space." She felt him shift on the bed and looked back at him only to sneer in disgust at his flirtatious looks. She gave him a doubtful look as he went on to say he wouldn't do anything. Promises were easily broken especially promises like his with no feelings or truth to them. "I've yet to see self control so I have high doubts and even if you did I still wouldn't stay in here at night." He was laughing once again and it annoyed her. All he did was joke around with her and what serious moments he had were short and gone quickly. She looked away from him and around his room. She'd have to find the maid she had talked to earlier and tell her to drop the requested things here. The thought was quickly read by the world and there was a soft knock on the door. "Enter." The maid entered in timidly, holding the items she had wanted. How had she known that Eleanora was here? The princess looked back at the Prince, gving him a quick look of irritation before holding out her hand to receive the items from the maid. "Thank you." The paper, ink, and quill were handed to her swiftly before the maid was dismissed and as she left she closed the door behind her. Eleanora ot up and walked to a small stand that the Prince had in his room. For storage or not she was going to use it as a desk so she could write her letter. While she was uncomfortable with doing this right in the Prince's presence she had no choice. She wanted to get today's letter out of the way before it got to late to properly see what she was writing.
Father, The day of arrival was a success. There weren't any sudden changes of plans and I have arriaved at the castle as planned. The Prince is what is to be expected though he does show some unexpect qualities. I will have to write future letters to inform you of how he truly is. I've taken steps towards trying to better their garden, maybe if I can succeed with that we will find a way to better our plans of helping reviving Toryn. I do request that I be supplied with magic catalysts though. I will need several if not at least 30 or so.
The letter was short and simple she knew her father would get her drift on what she was saying. The Prince was going to be a challenge but not impossible and that she'd keep him informed on how things were going. She blew on the letter and let it dry putting the small cap back onto the inkwell she put the quill down and returned to her seat on the bed. "I still want to know where my room is.." She stifled a small yawn. The halt of movement made her tired. She had been traveling for a large part of the day, she had used quite a large chunk of magic on the plants, and had toured the castle. She had spent a lot of energy doing things today and the mild fatigue was starting to catch up with her. "Have they decided when the wedding should take place?"

╔════════════════════════════╗ Vale Alphonsus Lytton ╚════════════════════════════╝ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ Vale flashed his deep red eyes in her direction and smiled, "Enough, you say? So you like me a little bit Princess? Just not enough to share a bed? We don't have to cuddle or anything. I have my side of the bed, and you have yours!" Vale chuckled and nuzzled his chin in his hand, arm propped up on the bed. "Yet to see self control? I could have easily had my way with you by now, if I truly wanted. I could have led you to one of the castle's abandoned rooms on the tour. " He explained to the princess who has zero trust in him. He couldn't blame her, really, Vale was pretty shady especially when it came to women. He used to be quite the womanizer until he got bored with all of the commoner girls. And the younger elites were too snobby for his taste, as was the princess. But she was a different snobby. She was snobby where it counts.
Shortly, the apprehensive maid arrived with the request the princess called in for earlier. Of all the maids she chose to bother, it was Alice. She was such a scared little one. Of all the time she could have brought the items, why did it take her so long? It was a such a simple task. Vale merely glanced at the maid and then back to the princess who then walked over to the nearest thing she could write on. For the moment, he watched her write her letter. Although it obviously didn't concern him, he wondered what it was she was writing. Perhaps about her long journey here, about meeting the king and his most handsome only son, the prince of Toryn. Vale grinned at the idea, but of course it wasn't true. She probably wrote his death wish as a side note.
Rather quickly, she finished scripting her long day on the paper, as he assumed, and returned to her place on Vale's bed. He noticed she left the letter to dry, but disregarded it anyway. It probably wasn't anything worth wasting energy over. Vale brought his gaze back over the female, "Maybe I'll tell you later.." He mumbled out eyeing the window of his room. It was beginning to darken outside and the loud commotions of the commoners weren't getting any quieter. Although women and children had retreated back inside their abodes, the men come out at night to drink and frolic to their hearts content. Their drunken shouts and bar fights could be heard in a far off distance and lights from outdoor lanterns create a sense of fireflies all across the kingdom. While gazing out of the window, taking in the dawned visage, the princess's muffled voice became clear when she uttered wedding.
Huh? Wedding? Ah, she was asking about the wedding. Vale thought about it for a moment, trying to remember the schedule his Father described to him when giving him the marriage news. He tried hard, but he just couldn't recall considering his mouth was agape the moment his fathered mentioned he was to be married. After that was a blur since he stormed out in the middle of his fathers explanations. Vale shrugged. "They've decided. I just don't remember when it is suppose to occur. I was a bit heated when I got the news, so I didn't stick around long for the details." He paused and sighed. "He's probably giving us time to get well acquainted with one another...I hope." He added and then yawned himself. Didn't she know those things were contagious? Even though he expressed exhaustion, he wasn't particularly tired, not as much as the princess would probably anyway. Shes been travelling all over the place. "Just lay down already, you're obviously fatigued. I won't do anything to you, honest. You should rest, princess. " He said, more earnest than before. At this point, he really wasn't about to tell her where her room was located but he wasn't about to let her wear herself out over a stupid room. He's gonna need to gain her trust one way or another, and Vale felt this was a good start. "I get it, it's strange to rest with a total stranger. But it's going to be even more awkward after marrying me because you can't seem to bring yourself to trust me a little bit." He stated, speaking sternly and resting his head back on to the sea of seams which were his sheets and closing his eyes gently, resting them for a short moment and listening to the men outside as he does every night.

ᴇʟᴇᴀɴᴏʀᴀ ʙʟᴀɴᴄʜᴇᴛᴛ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ She had worded herself poorly. It was something even she had the occasional mishap of and something she was beating herself up over mentally. While it was her fault that her words were getting used against her she was no less shocked that he used her words in such ways. He could have had his way with her? She was a princess but she was fae and while she didn't like the aspect of using magic to harm others she had the option and here he was saying he could have done things to her. "You could have but that wouldn't have been the wisest move." She ran a hand through her hair and shifted slightly, he really was an idiot but the more time that passed the more his stupidity was irritating and slightly amusing.
There was a short span of silence between the two and it made her realize something. One that they were alone in a room together, his room too, and also that the city outside was quite loud. It was different from the quiet Zimid castle she called home. While she could hear the faint giggles and chatter of small flying fae it was rare for there to be loud unless a party or some festival was happening. She would have to get used to the noise that Toryn supplied, and while her ears were trying to make out what was happening outside she heard the Prince mumble something. She could care less as whatever it was wasn't important enough for her to hear,
The Prince was silent for a moment as he thought on her question, she herself was guilty of not listening to her father when she informed. The day she had been told she was to tired and too unwilling to listen that the information went straight over her head. To hear that the Prince also missed what his own father said about the wedding put them into the same boat. She sneered a bit at the thought of getting time to know each other. "I doubt. This is less a wedding and more a bonding of two countries. The sooner it's done the sooner the two countries can start having more business together. Getting to know each other is the last thing on the list of priorities we have." While it was a bit rude it was an honest opinion. The wedding was just a treaty embodied by two people, to actually have to get to know each other before hand wasn't required.
"I'm not tired. Just bored sitting here talking to you isn't the most exciting thing yet. The day isn't over just yet anyway, I can still get something done." She really was against sleeping in the same bed as him, and part of her was wanting to get up and head back to the garden but she could feel body slowly start to protest against her thoughts. Right now the Prince's earlier idea about Fae's keeping themselves awake even at night seemed like an awesome idea. He made a point though, when they got married she was going to be forced to be in the same room as him at night rather she liked it or not. While every part of her mind wanted to find out where her room was so she could relax and not fall asleep tense and on guard her body wanted no part in the plan. She stood up and pulled back a cover, not caring if she was covering up the Prince in the process. She picked up a pillow and place it in the middle of her and the Prince. That was the line of no return, if he crossed it she was going to hurt him to no limit and if she crossed it, well it was better not to think about that. She took off her shoes and laid onto the bed next to very edge keeping a safe distance from the pillow just in case. Pulling the covers over her she curled up slightly. "Touch me or try anything and I'll hurt you. Only for tonight too, I'm not letting this become some habit that I end up here. And you're telling me where my room is tomorrow.... Also I'm still not going to trust you... but I guess tonight it'll be.. ok.." Her words were rushed at first but as her body got more comfortable in the bed they slowed down until she was totally out. Her last thoughts were that of the garden and how she might fix it more tomorrow.

╔════════════════════════════╗ Vale Alphonsus Lytton ╚════════════════════════════╝ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ The prince laughed a little to her comment and replied with a subtle "True." He completely forgot to add in the fact that she has abilities. If it were to come down to it, she was probably stronger then him, even if he had more physical ability, it would probably make it useless. That made him wonder what kind of weaknessess the Fae would have. That would be an interesting topic to reserach, perhaps. Another time, of course.
Vale wondered whether or not her father informed her of the details. Surely they would have both been informed about it. Whatever, Vale could simply find out tomorrow. Hearing the bitter truth from the princess made, Vale smiled. This Fae was quite the realist. Even so, she was far from lying. That's all this wedding was for, the have a quick way to make amends between two childish kingdoms. Vale always saw these type of weddings to be ridiculous since two nations couldn't kiss and make up without forcing two people to do it for them. It was just so inane. Vale caught wind of many other nations doing this type of thing, and the pair is never happy. But of course, everyone else in both combined nations are celebrating their forced misery. Vale would have simply shook his head and go about his day without a care but soon, that was going to be him.
Eyes still closed while he was thinking of his fate, he heard the girl speak but wasn't really listening. Why was she trying so hard? Just pass out already.. he thought to himself, covered by a sudden darkness which startled him. What was this? Did she just pull back his sheets? Is she about to do what Vale thought? Vale jumped up immediately and quickly looked over to the princess. He chuckled as he observed her precautionary measures take place. She placed a pillow in between them? What exactly would that do to protect her? This was too much, he wanted to laugh but if he did he knew she would get annoyed and leave. He kept it in, covering his mouth. It amazed Vale how much of a child the princess acted. His stomach was beginning to hurt from how much laughter he was holding in. She even spaced herself from the barrier pillow!
When his desire to laugh calmed he answered the princess as politely as possible. "Y-Yes princess." Not necessarily to everything she said but to the 'don't touch or die' part. And in just a couple of seconds of her temporary trust agreement, she was out. Like a light. Vale smiled, perhaps his fate won't be so boring after all. Soon, he decided to follow suit and remove his footwear. Vale stood up for a moment to blot out the candle light illuminating the room and on his way there, he passed the note which was set out to dry. He hesitated for a moment and glanced over to the princess, who was fast asleep. He took a quick glace at it. Unexpect qualities? Catalyst? What was this girl on about? Vale rolled his eyes, besides that the note was pretty simple as he assumed. It surprised him more that there wasn't a death note more than whatever a catalyst was. He returned back to his terriory on the bed and climbed under the covers. He kept his distance from the pillow as well considering he was quite the dancer when it came to sleeping. Hopefully he didn't end up too close by morning.

ᴇʟᴇᴀɴᴏʀᴀ ʙʟᴀɴᴄʜᴇᴛᴛ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ Morning came to the sleeping princess and she was up soon after dawn break. She had always gotten up early to visit her garden, it was one of her many personal traditions she had and just because she was in some new place wasn't going to change her ways. She slept well even given the fact she was sleeping in the same room as the Prince. There was a soft knock on the door and Eleanora slipped on her shoes and made her side of the bed up before opening the door. Behind it was the familiar face of her fae servant who was being housed here along with her, she grabbed the letter she had written last night and left the room, closing it behind her softly. The princess and her servant walked down the hallway and quietly exchanged words. "Your clothes have been prepared and readied in your room, along with breakfast and your morning cup of tea." He guided her down the hallway, her room wasn't far from the Princes and it was most likely something that had been planned by the King of Toryn. "My belongings?" The servant opened the door for the princess to walk through. "They've been sorted and put in their perspective places, I hope I have put them away in ways that will not hinder you my lady." He closed the door and walked over to the small table that had assorted breakfast items on it. Eleanora took a seat at the table and awaited her cup of tea to be poured, "Thank you. This is a letter that I want delivered to my father immediately." The servant nodded and took the folded letter. "I'll seal this after you have finished breakfast and I'll go to the city and have this delivered later today when the humans are awake."
"Be careful in the city when you go. The humans are still to new to us being here after so long. If you run into any trouble tell me and I will help get it resolved." The servant, Flynn nodded "Yes, Princess. Is there anything I should get you while I am out? Some cakes or something?" Eleanora took a sip of her tea mulling over the offer before agreeing. "Please do. I think I'd like a strawberry tarte." She finished off her cup of tea and awaited a new cup to be poured as she took a bite of her salmon. While much of her meal was somewhat displeasing she couldn't complain, Fae had different tastes compared to the humans and to be picky right off the bat wasn't the best desicion for her. She quickly finished her second cup of tea and stood up, "I'll be changing now." Flynn bowed and left the room so Eleanora could change. On the bed was a new dress, today's outfit being white with with purple embraidering on the sleeves and the skirt. There was a matching belt that was mainly purple though today she went without a circlet, it wasn't needed. She had established herself here and all formality that came with her outfit of yesterday wasn't needed today. Dressing quickly she left her room as was greeted by Flynn. "I'll be heading to the garden." With that she was off to her destination.
The garden's flowers were either dead or desperately clinging to the life she had given to them yesterday. She was suprised some of them made it this far but if she was plant she would have been desperate for a magic touch too. She used her magic once again, her hands glowing a pale green as she got down to feel some of the plants. They hopped to life as commanded, she put as much of her magic as she could into the current bed she was at, she wanted to see how much it required before it was at a stable place. They lasted quite a while before falling to a wilt, the rest of the earth around them was taking magic from the flowers. The whole land needed a special touch but to think it was this desperate for life was a bit saddening. She stood up and walked around some more before finding her way to the stables. She wanted to ride, but was she even allowed to go riding just yet? She didn't know this kingdom nor did she know where she was allowed to roam freely without a threat on her safety just yet. She entered the stables none the less and walked over to one of the horses. They were beautiful. While she wouldn't want to admit that to the Prince that she wasn't going to deny herself the truth that his horses were something. She went down the line of horses and spotted what had to be her favorite. It was a light grey with black and white spotting on it. It's mane was black and long. She looked around for some sort of treat for the horse but to no avail could she find one. Eleanora brought her face close to the horses and exhaled onto its nose. She introduced herself to the horse quietly before offering it words of adoration. "Your mane is so pretty..." She wanted to pet the horse morebut she would have to wait a while longer before she could.

╔════════════════════════════╗ Vale Alphonsus Lytton ╚════════════════════════════╝ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ Unlike the Fae princess, Vale wasn't an early bird. He continued his sleep for an hour or two before one of the Toryn maids came in to wake him up, like she did every morning. Otherwise, Vale would stay in bed all day. This maid was a bit more friendly with Vale than the others, less formal. "C'mon Mr. Vale! You can't stay in bed all day!" Myurial exclaimed rushing in a opening the curtains wider, allowing more sunlight to enter through. The sunlight practically blinded Vale, and made him turn over with a loud groan. It was the same routine every morning. But as always, in the end, she gets him up with her loud racket. He sighed and sat up in his bed, yawning and scratching the back of his head. The chubby maid pulled Vale out of his territory and began making the bed after him. While she did this he looked around, wondering where the princess went. Was she that ready to be rid of him? Vale laughed and began to walk out of his bedroom door.
Sluggishly moving down the hallway, a nervous maid almost rushed by him and he stopped her suddenly. "Alice, go find me some new clothes and place them in my room." He stated and turned without another word. He assumed she could handle this task and continued down the stairs. He needed to find the princess, but before that he needed to eat, and perhaps talk to the king. Or better, ask his adviser. If he asked his father directly, he'd be in trouble for not listening for the wedding date.
Usually he would sit down at the long table with his father for breakfast, but he didn't feel like entering a staring contest with him this morning. Instead, he found his way to the kitchen where a couple maids and servants worked diligently. He just walked in the middle of the hustle and bustle and grabbed an apple. He wasn't really hungry for an entire breakfast this morning, no matter how many times a maid offer to feed him something more fulfilling. He would shoo them away and walk out of the busy kitchen. From the corner of his eye he could see the king entering the dining hall with his adviser close by and an elite or two. Though, it was a bit strange since they didn't do this unless an important meeting was to take place. But, it wasn't Vale's business.
He ascended the stairs once more and headed towards his chamber, biting into his apple and passing by Alice once more. By this, he was sure she completed her task and went through his doors, closing them behind him. Placed on the bed was a long tunic, extending to his knees and sleeves to his elbows. and dark red baggy trousers. He began slipping out of his current wear and putting on his new ones. A bit too casual for his taste but he didn't care very much. He put on the tunic and trousers, tying the calf portion down with a gilded string in a cross formation. He put on his black slippers and put way his old clothing. Now to find the princess.
As he waltzed out of his room he began futzing with his hair, which was getting a bit too long. He was probably going to need to cut it before the ceremony. He may not have heard it from the king, but he was almost positive his father would have suggested it. He began braiding it and when he finished he pushed it over his shoulder and allowed it to hang behind him. By this time he had already descended the stairs and automatically headed towards the garden. He didn't really think about how he just went towards the garden like it was normal, but then again where else could she be? However, by the time he exited the double steel doors and peered outside, he didn't spot her immediately. Where was she? Looking at the flower beds, the flowers were still wilting but they still seemed a bit different. Perhaps she was here already?
He honestly couldn't think of any other place she would be. He began looking around to anywhere she might have gone and saw the stables a bit of ways away. Could she? Regardless if she was, it would be a good time to check on his horses. He hasn't in awhile. Plus he still had a bit of apple left. He could give it to one of them. He walked over the the stables and looked inside. Spotting the princess with Ahlerich made him smile. Ahlerich wasn't his jousting horse but he was his mothers horse. He walked in and called out to her, "You have to say handsome, princess. Ahlerich will feel disrespected." He chortled and went up to pet him. Vale gently made a clicking noise with his mouth and began stroking Ahlerich's neck. "If you're gonna touch him, touch his neck. He'll get mad if you touch his face since he can't see your hand very well." He said looking to her and handing out his apple to her. "Want to feed him? He loves apples more than any of the others in the stable."

ᴇʟᴇᴀɴᴏʀᴀ ʙʟᴀɴᴄʜᴇᴛᴛ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂[/ color]▂ The horse's coat was well kept as expected of a royal horse but she hadn't expected human horses to be kept so well. She touched the horse's mane and was about to coo more towards the beast until an unexpected visitor stepped. The Prince's voice was a bit shocking, how much time had passed since she woke up? The day was in full swing now but here she was still outdoors. So the horse's name was Ahlerich? It was a good name. "You're quite handsome Ahlerich... " She looked back at the Prince. "I want to ride him." She took the apple and held it out the horse, he took the offering and the feeling of his tongue and lips tickled her palm. Though she had to wonder. Who's horse was this? Would it be ok for her to ride someone else's horse who was obviously taken good care of.
"Who does he belong to? Is it ok for me to ride him?" Once her hand was empty it moved back to the nearest part of her neck she could reach without having to climb into his pen. She removed her hand from the horse and turned around to face the prince. He had slept in for some by the looks of it, she of course was going to take this chance to joke around with him. "So the sleeping prince finally woke up. I'm surprised you didn't wake up sooner when that happened." She flashed him a quick mischievous grin before turning back to the horse.
The human world was probably wide awake now and because of that the appearance of her Fae servant wasn't surprising. "Princess I'm back." The Fae held a small box in his arms that most likely held her requested treat. "For me?" He nodded and handed the princess her tarte. She opened the small package to inspect it, there were a few strawberry tarted just wanting to be eaten. She closed the box satisfied with what she saw. She handed the box back to Flynn "Thank you. Please have this served at tea later today."
With that the servant was off, leaving only her and theprince once again. She went back to petting the horse's neck once again. If the horse didn't belong to anyone she was going to make it hers. He was to handsome of a horse to just leave lying around. "So where's your horse? You said you jousted right? That typically implies riding a horse does it not?" She was slightly interested in what his horse looked like, a jousting horse had to be bigger didn't it? Or maybe not. She had never seen a joust before and it wasn't something she planned on willingly watch later on but she did have her own questions about the sport. She wouldn't be honest if she said she wasn't just a little curious.

Anzen Hatsukoi I feel you omg...I used to use gaia mobile when I wanted to reply at school. I feel your pain all the way! razz It's totally fine! ╔════════════════════════════╗ Vale Alphonsus Lytton ╚════════════════════════════╝ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ Listening to the princess's demand made him a bit shaky. Since his mother's passing, he hasn't let anyone even touch Ahlerich, much less ride him. At one point, he ended up harshly scolding one of the maids for grooming him without his consent. Which made Vale wonder why he didn't immediately scold the princess. Maybe because she didn't know who's horse it belonged to. Which made her next question a bit nerve-racking. He took a moment to pause and consider whether or not he should just refuse her proposal. He honestly didn't want anyone to ride Ahlerich but with the princess seeming so determined made him question himself.
After a moment of silence, he looked down at her with his deep red gaze and sighed. "Fine." He started with a subtle response, "It seems Ahlerich likes you. So you can ride him...You better know how to ride properly..." He said, not meaning to sound threatening, but it was a very special horse. "This horse...Ahlerich." He paused looking at the grey spotted horse and grabbing a stiff brush that hung at every stable and began brushing Ahlerich's neck and shoulder. "This horse belonged to my mother, the late Queen of Toryn.." He began, staring at the horse longingly and smiling. "Why are you so much like her...The garden..Ahlerich.." He said looking back over to the princess, as if he were studying her trying to answer his own question. He placed the brush back to it's rightful place and making the clicking sounds again. His mother used to make those sounds when it came down to catching Ahlerich's attention. He reach across the gate and unlatched it, leading the horse slowing from it's stable. He grabbed some nearby leather horse reins and began attatching them on to Ahlerich along with his saddle. Once he had properly fastened the items onto the grey steed and handed the reins to the princess who had requested to ride him. Before she could notice, she went off to her personal servant who had something of a box for her. He look confusingly at her. A letter to the Fae kingdom would have taken a lot long than that so that couldn't have been what she asked for in her letter. His curiosity was soon answered when she said to serve it with her tea later on.
Bringing his attention back to the steed and handed her the reins. "Please take care of him..." He added, walking deeper into the horse stables and opening another gate. Inside, the horse was in a resting position, but at the sight of Vale, it immediately stood up and began to nicker, creating a loud vibrating sound using it's vocal chords. Apparently, in horse language, he said hello. Just as he did to Ahlerich, he saddled and reined his horse and brought him into the princess's view. The horse was fully black just like it's mane and tail. The horse's deep black coat practically shone with the small amount of light pouring in. The princess was correct, the horse was typically larger and sturdier so that it could withstand armor weights. He guided his horse over to Eleanora and smiled while petting him, "This is Windago...He's my personal jousting horse." As he said this the two horses whined and blew in each other's noses as a greeting. Vale scratched Windago behind the ear, something that Windago more-so that other horses. Vale looked to the princess and gestured her to the exit of the stables. "Go on. You wished to ride, so we shall do so." He stated and allowed her to exit first.

ᴇʟᴇᴀɴᴏʀᴀ ʙʟᴀɴᴄʜᴇᴛᴛ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ To hear the prince comply with her demands was a bit surprising. She didn't think he would actually agree to it but then again anything was possible. Like knowing how to ride was something a princess would have issues with, even the Fae had their own horses. She wanted to make some sort of remark towards her knowing how to ride but the way his voice sounded, the look on his face, and even the heavy air that seemed to form around him ever so slightly was enough to shut down whatever remark she would have made. He went on to explain that the horse had belonged to his mother. Belonged. His mother was gone too. She wanted to ask more but was it even her place to ask? She may be his fiancee but there were things that even that title didn't allow access to. She nodded solemnly in acknowledgment. "I'm sorry for your loss." She was sincere in her words, while she had only heard of her own mother through stories and paintings he knew his mother. He had grown up with his mother and to lose her must have been left an unimaginable pain for him. "What was she like?"
While she may not have had the right to ask she was still curious on what type of lady the mother of the human brat was like. While he was off mumbling to himself Eleanora took the reins to Ahlerich. While he was clearly audible some things were better left unheard and Eleanora did her best just to ignore whatever he had said. While he was off in thought she rubbed Ahlerich's side. He had such a fine coat and was a sweet beast, allowing her to lead him around without much of a restraint. The Prince finally seemed to come back into the world to make a request from her. To take care of Ahlerich. She looked over at the Prince and nodded. "It'd be an honor." While when they had first met she had used the phrase sarcastically by no means was she so now. She knew only a little of what importance this horse had to the Prince and to trusted with something that obviously held a dear spot in his heart was something she was a bit honored by. She knew all to well how trusting others with a prized possession was hard but for it to belong to someone you loved dearly that made it all the more important.
The Prince walked off and she watched him, only to slowly see him disappear into a pen. Was he going to get his own horse? She wondered if jousting horses looked much different from regular horses or if they were the same. Her thoughts were soon answered when the Prince emerged with a black horse all of his own. She watched the two get further into view and it was clear to see the horse had some muscle to it. As the Prince introduced the black horse, Windago, to her she blew into the horse's nose. "Well hello Windago." The greeting was short as the Prince made it clear that since she wanted to go riding she should start now. She lead Ahlerich out of the stables and into the open before swinging herself onto the horse. Getting comfortable in her saddle she gripped the reins with her left hand before rearing the horse into a slow trot. Good, Ahlerich was an obedient horse not that she expected less but still if the Queen had died a while ago the horse must not have been used to being ridden. She rearing the horse to the left to slowly pace around the Prince. "So where's a good place to ride here?"

Anzen Hatsukoi Its fine! Length doesn't matter to me much since youre a great writer ^^ ╔════════════════════════════╗ Vale Alphonsus Lytton ╚════════════════════════════╝ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ ███████ The prince nodded only to her condolences. He hoped she would leave it at that, since it was quite the touchy subject, but she continued by asking what his mother was like. At first, he decided to stay silent about the matter to gain some composure and to also think about what his answer would be. In a way, it was almost difficult to describe with words. Vale thought simple words weren't powerful enough to describe her. During his time of thought, he watched the princess greet Windago and lead Ahlerich to the outside of the stables, and so did Vale, leading Windago. Once out in the open, Vale climbed on top of Windago, carefully steering towards a small dirt pathway just on the side of the stables. Without a word, he gestured with his hand to follow close and begun riding in a canter, which was a three beat gait, faster than a trot but slower than a gallop.
He continued down the dirt path which ultimately lead to an open field on the left side of the castle. The open field was partially lined by fences, which, on the other side of the fence were some buildings and taverns from the kingdom. Originally, these grounds were to be apart of it, but the queen made it rather clear to section off some of the town to make a large riding area for the entire kingdom. Some horses and their riders could be seen galloping around the field, some with small children learning to ride. To the far right of this green covered field, many jousting tracks could be seen, along with men competing for fun or simply ring jousting, where they use their lance to pierce a small ring. The circumference of the field was line in fibresand, used specifically for racing and exercising the horses.
Vale cantered into and empty part of the green inside and slowed to a trot. Vale thought about his mother and remembered every aspect of her on the way to this track. He realized how much she influenced the kingdom and it's people. He still remembered how much he hated when she scolded him for things but now, he truly feels grateful for it. And what concerned him was how much this Fae was like her. Always bold and a bit mouthy but she was someone everyone looked up to and respected. "She was...well respected in the kingdom." He started, trying to get his words together, "The queen did a lot of things for Toryn. When she was alive, my father always took on the political issues while she took responsibility of the people." He grinned, "You could say she was more of the social butterfly. More so than my father. She was great at what she did, too. She would stroll through the kingdom without any servants attending to her, and would meet and greet with the commoners. She would create petitions for changes in the kingdom and attend most of the social events that went on. The commoners loved her a lot." He kept at his current pace and continued, " I remember when she would go to the taverns and have a couple drinks with the rowdy men, having a good time. I used to hear rumors that she would play card games with them and win every time, which didn't surprise me at all. She was quite the cunning woman. Luckily, since she was the Queen, she couldn't gamble. Otherwise, she would have been swimming in loot. " He laughed heartily, nearing the bend of the field. "I personally believe she was the only woman in this damned kingdom to be fit for a queen." He began brushing the mane of Windago while the dark horse whined. "She was a great queen and mother...I'm sure you could ask any commoner about her and they could tell you a great story. " He added, looking to her and smiling. "Would be great if you could meet her..She would annoy you more than I have already." He laughed and began to speed up again, trotting at a faster pace around the bright green field, passing by some other riders, who began to stare at the princess. The stares were quite apparent as well and Vale noticed it. Even the young children couldn't help but cease their playful noises to look curiously at the Fae and proceed with their practiced riding. For now, Vale decided to ignore the matter, as long as it didn't create any actual conflict, it didn't concern him, nor did it concern the princess.

ᴇʟᴇᴀɴᴏʀᴀ ʙʟᴀɴᴄʜᴇᴛᴛ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ The Prince was quiet, she could understand why though and she could hardly fault him for not talking. She, an outsider to his personal affairs, was asking something that he had strong feelings towards. He took of and signalled her to follow. While she'd normally be against following him around if she wanted her question answered she'd control herself. It was already an emotional subject so there was no need for her to bring attitude to it. He lead her down a dirt path which lead to a big fence lined field, it was the only patch that had a fairly vibrant touch to it. This was a well-kept place and the idea that these humans were capable of taking care of their land made her impressed. The garden was depressing but to show they had the capabilities was refreshing. She actually found herself looking forward to see how the humans would improve their land later in the future. He slowed down into a trot and Eleanora followed suit, pacing Ahlerich next to Windago so the two rode side by side. There were people in the area but to far to really hear them.
The Prince was silent as he tried to get his thoughts together, and because of that she remained quiet. She wondered what it must have been like to really know her own mother and how it would feel to lose her like her father had. Though those thoughts had always gone dark, she had always found her father's new choice of a wife disappointing when she thought of all the stories she had heard about her own. When the Prince finally talked she listened, the more he went on about her the more she sounded quite impressive. The stories of his mother and her own had similar characteristics, and she felt a bit sad that his mother was gone. Maybe if she had been alive the war wouldn't had happened but it did, it was a fact she wasn't going to deny nor think otherwise. The war had happened and people who could have stopped it had died. "She sounds like she was an amazing person." She was a bit surprised by his sudden remark on his mother annoying her more then him. She rolled her eyes "I doubt anything could annoy me more then your stupidity does." The Prince left her in the dust as he took off, rubbing Ahlerich's neck she sped up to keep up with the Prince.
While she hadn't thought of it earlier she began to realize that this was a weakness she could use against him when the time came. That Ahlerich and his mother's works was a weakness that she could use to her advantage. She could have but she wasn't going to. She wasn't cruel and doing something like that was to cruel for her to even stand. She'd have to pretend that she knew nothing of this information. But a weakness for a weakness she supposed. "I also lost my mother.. But for me it's nothing like what you must have felt losing yours." She allowed her free hand to travel back and graze Ahlerich's hip. Her hands glowed a light green and the faint glow traveled down through the horse and to the ground. It was easy transferring magic through beasts as they were a part of the earth. They had a natural connection to it that made magic traveling through them easy, while it wasn't always simple it was much easier than doing it through humans who had grown a bit further from the earth over the ages, or at least that was what she was taught. Satisfied with the stable connection she established between her magic and Ahlerich she took off into canter, because of the transfer the area around them took the magic easily. The field was in a much better condition than that of the garden, thus her magic would have more lasting effect or so she hoped. While the grass here was already green it couldn't hurt to make it better or at least perk it up a bit.
There were civilians that rode past her, she let the green glow fade from her hands, and travel to her feet. It was easier to hide and less suspicious. She smiled at the passing people trying to seem as least threatening to them as possible. She wasn't sure if the humans would care if she was here or not, while the Prince might not mind problems could easily evolve if her presence was disliked by some. Thankfully no one said anything but many kept watching her and see what she did next.
