[Dith, Physical course]

"Wargh!" Dith flailed for a few moments, struggling to keep his balance against the onslaught but it was to no avail, he passed the point of no return and toppled backwards off the tyre to land in the grass with a heavy thud and an 'oof' of expelled breath. Dith groaned as his heaved himself back to his feet and dusted himself off, he was going to be sore tomorrow but he wasn't about to let a few future aches and pains put him off!

Once he'd made his way back to the start of the course Dith took a moment to roll his shoulders and stretch his spine before making another attempt to cross the path of tyres.

[Henrietta, Pokémon Course - Keep Buneary if successful!]

Henrietta's eyes widened when the trap door moved, but at the laugh, and when it didn't open under her, she took a moment to give a triumphant laugh of her own while adopting a heroic stance, hands on hips, and chin high.

"Hahah! I've bested you this time you villain! I'm totally gonna save those pokémon!"

Her leap through the 'window' wasn't very graceful, and ended with her rolling over sideways on her landing, with an 'oof', a groan, and then a giggle.
It wasn't a good landing but it hadn't hurt very much and this was still so much fun!

She gasped, partly to be dramatic in the game, partly out of surprise and adoration at the acting pokémon ahead of her in Obstacle Two.
Immediately she blurted out;
"Don't worry guys! I'm here to save you!"

And then she paused to read the sign.
"Aw man! I can only save one of you?! But, like, totally don't worry little guys! There's a bunch of us coming to save you! Not just me! I even saw Dith at the start! He's huge! I bet he's defeating bad guys right now!" She wasn't sure where Dith was now, and supposed he was on the other course, which she'd decided, in her game, was the 'fight the bad guys' course, if this was the rescue.
She hurried over toward a 'swooning' Buneary, and crouched beside it.
"Hey! I can totally get you outta here if you wanna come with me? We'll totally escape the bad guys!"

One of the Pidgeot went back to its post, while the other flapped its wings with another Gust at Dith. This time, however, the move wasn't powerful enough to knock him over. Continue!

The Buneary paused in its swooning to turn an ecstatic grin to its 'savior' before hopping right into Hen's arms. Continue!

[Taavi, pokemon course]

The third obstacle with its wiggly lines and diligently negligent pokemon made Taavi grin again as he crept quietly up to the sign to check if there were any special rules to follow.

The Spinarak, now hanging onto Taavi's back, peered over his shoulder to look studiously at the sign too. <> it supplied helpfully, <>

"Pft," Taavi stifled a chortle and reached into one of his other pouches for a piece of jerky, which he passed up to the bug. "Shhhh, don't make me laugh! Stealth!" he whispered.

Just as he was about to move forward he heard a familiar voice behind him and paused to glance back behind him; purple hair, bouncy attitude, that was... Hen? Yeah that was right! Taavi grinned and gave her a little wave before turning his attention back to the task at hand. Stealth, then. With the Spinarak happily gnawing away on its piece of meat he set off slowly between two of the painted rectangles, one occupied by an Arcanine and the other by a Snorlax.

[Henrietta, Pokémon Course]

"Awesome! We'll get out of here in no time, promise!" Henrietta said, still playing along with the game but with a grin to match the Buneary's.
She carefully carried the bunny pokémon to the next obstacle, offering a seat on her shoulder if the Buneary should want to sit and see more of what was going on.
"Oh!" She caught sight of Taavi waving and pointed him out for her new friend as she waved back. "Awesome! That guy's Taavi! He's a ranger! See, we totally have awesome people to rescue you all!"

She stopped at the sign at Obstacle 3 and grinned wide at the sight of the larger pokémon.
"More hostages? Have we gotta rescue your friends?!" She asked the Buneary, before reading the sign.
"OH!" She immediately put her hands over her mouth with a gasp, then took them away. "We gotta be /real/ quiet! More bad guys!"

The purple-haired girl then began an exaggerated tip-toe, choosing the rectangle guarded by an Ampharos.

[Kat, The Pokemon Course]

Kat had dressed for the weather and strenuous physical activity in a matching ensemble of grey and white specked running shorts and a comfortable sports bra. She rather liked the Stuff your Bra line of running bra’s since the double fabric in the front made a simple pocket to put the necessities like her phone, and credit card, and well money. Neon blue supports were on her ankles and wrists, and her shoes had good support structure. She had splurged slightly on the gel inserts. They were comfy.

Jessie and Bangy rested at her heels, tongue lolling as the pair of canine like pokemon watched the preceding. Bangy flickered her tail and nosed the Growlithe, motioning with her body towards the sidelines. She then shoved her nose into the crook of Kat’s leg, getting a satisfying yelp and chortled before trotting over to flop by her fellow eevees and a totodile? Ehhh, water pokemon.

“I get it, I get it, geeze.” Kat grumbled and trotted over Pokemon course, pausing to read the sign and then look up ramp. Someone was dramatic! She looked over the steep ramp and started up in an easy pace, careful to keep her balance.

[Taavi, pokemon course]

As Taavi quietly drew near, the Arcanine appeared to remain 'asleep'... Until its large ears twitched, it lifted its fluffy head, and swiped a paw at his legs - gently, of course - to knock him over.

Oh no, the guard captured you! Start over!

Despite Henrietta's excellent stealthiness, the Ampharos snorted itself awake - even though its eyes were already open - before the villain rolled over and grabbed Hen to finish her off... with a warm hug and a gleeful, "nyooom!"

Uh oh, you've been captured! Start over!

[Kat, The Pokemon Course]

Kat would find the ramp steep but not too difficult to walk up, and nothing presented itself as any kind of hurdle between her and the window... Until she drew close to a window, that is, and a chuckling Haunter opened the trap door beneath her feet where a cuddly Snorlax awaited to break her fall.

Oh no, you fell through a trap door! Start over!

[Taavi, Pokemon course]

"Woop!" Taavi exclaimed as he was gently shoved to the ground; the grass made for a soft landing though so the only minor bruising was to his pride. Still, it looked like he wasn't the only one to stumble here - Hen was being hugged by an Ampharos - and nobody was laughing at him so it was okay.

Having reassured himself somewhat Taavi hopped back to his feet and jogged back to the start of the obstacle, where he waited for the Arcanine to stop paying attention again before making another attempt to sneak by.

Once Taavi left the rectangle, the Arcanine dutifully adopted its negligent watch once again. It waited until the new recruit drew up alongside it before it lifted its head and glanced around, ears perked, then laid its head back down.

The guard didn't notice you! Continue!

[Dith, physical course - bad luck plz!]

Having successfully navigated the tyres Dith headed for the next obstacle which turned out to be a set of monkey bars. Something like this was not exactly a challenge for him under normal circumstances but the water pokemon lounging about either side of the sets of bars were no doubt going to make things a bit more interesting; it was a good job it was a nice warm day.

Dith rubbed his hands together and then climbed up onto the tallest set of bars and started to swing confidently across, though he was careful of where his legs were just in case he did get blasted off. Ending the day with a sprained ankle would not be fun.

[Dith, physical course - bad luck plz!]

A rather energetic Vaporeon trotted alongside Dith's set of monkey bars, watching him eagerly for a few moments. Once he was about halfway across it fired a Water Pulse at his arms to knock him down.

Oh no, you lost your grip! Start over!
