Psykgi didn't recognize the emeraldblood outright, but she had an odd feeling that the troll might -- just might -- have been in the haunted mansion. It seemed about right.
She wasn't an inventor by any means, or a tinkerer, or... anything of that sort, but she knew how to do small things and sometimes practicing helped her feel a little more centered.
Except when it exploded. Explosions were not centering. They were, however, inspiring, and she found herself thinking of the perfect answer to one of her advice wall questions.

Unfortunately, another P.I had searched better than you and found the hard evidence you needed in another block. You will get promoted in no time sleuth, keep trying!
Tonight though, the crime committed happened at a small hotel.
The body was found by a maid cleaning the block. They said that the victim could've been presumably poisoned, since the last thing the claimed to have seen was the lowblooded troll drinking some tea after having a heated fight with sometroll. The maid, the server and said mysterious troll have been brought together for questioning to find out who had done it and why.

Poe wasn't good with puzzles or codes or anything like that... but he was handy and liked to play with things. He got some vehicle parts, some plastic, adhesive, and even had the idea to get the booth owner's electric lusus to power it up! But... maybe that wasn't a good idea. It didn't seem to work after all. Poe rubbed the back of his head awkwardly. Next time?
As Byakko closed the gap between herself and Tevini, she let out a low hum that doubled as both a greeting and a judgement for the redblood's brief slip of tongue.
"Nice to see you again, too." Her voice was intentionally thrust a few octaves higher, almost giving the impression of a good mood.
It was just Rizzoh's voice.
"This isn't really my sort of thing..." Casting her gaze down at the table of building materials, Byakko shrugged. Ask her to organize a mission to steal building materials from under the government's sniffnode in their own facilities and enact it? Sure. Actually do anything with it with her own hands? Haaah. Whatever the equivalent to having a green thumb was for technology, Byakko had the polar opposite of it. She would consistently break rebel tech as a youth before coming to the conclusion she should just steer clear of it altogether, for the sake of all.
"You know what... sure. What do I have to lose?"
Whatever Tevini had made, it looked right proper. And self powering! Maybe she could do something like that, too...? How hard could it be, when she only used 4 things?
Byakko poured over the materials, making her selections. Focusing whole heartedly- especially when handling the glue gun- she completed her 'machine' in a much longer stretch of time than Tevini needed.
And whatever the ******** it was Byakko had made, it was a hot mess.
Lines of hot glue trailed from one flower to another like cobwebs, for seemingly no reason. It looked like she had at one point tried to glue all the (living) flowers together in the middle, but didn't wait for the glue to cool- so they splayed. A giant glob of glue at one side had two batteries protruding from the top, (the rest of the pack had been deposited into her pocket).
The cherry on top was the piece of display board roughly cut out, which Akko had neatly written 'CHARGER' onto and stuck into the dirt.
"You see?" Byakko gestured to her... thing.
"It's a battery charger."She clearly had 0 idea how solar power worked.

Ooh, tinkering! Mimimi's favorite. She quickly grabbed up a her materials and started to invent, not entirely sure what she was going to make but confident in her abilities.
Metal was always her go-to. It was easy to manipulate with heat, it was a familiar texture, and it was so shiny and pretty. She molded one into a little wind wheel, spinning it with her finger.
But it needed a little flower pot! Mimimi got a terracotta one, and planted it in place with some heavy duty staples. From there, it operated easy with just a little bit of breath. And it didn't catch fire like a regular flower would! Clearly it was superior.

Okay... This was... progress? Yeah. Avvisi stared hard at the pattern, then slowly submitted another set of symbols. Her eyes were glued to Dale, looking for any sign of a clue.

Back to another murder hive...
The neighbors reported a break in at the hive. The witnesses say that the saw a black figure entering the hive and leaving with a rather large sack through the window. They don't know what they could have taken, nor have the neighbors seen the hive owner ever since the incident. They suspect a kidnap, but until you find the evidence that supports that hypothesize you won't be able to do much.
