Of course the Civisect Sirens were going to check out Sarcel's booth. Anything the blueblood did was golden in their eyes. Flydra looked over the warzone in front of them and smiled at Scorpa by her side.

"I think Lieutenant Cincil would be even more impressed by us if we did the maze with blindfolds, don't you?" It was Bloodfest and Flydra was feeling even more confident and playful than normal. She tugged the twin ribbons from her pigtails and tied one around her eyes, offering the other to her moirail. They were going to be spectacular.

They certainly were.

Five minutes later, the entire course was destroyed. Anything Flydra could fall into, she had. Anything that could be knocked over, torn down or broken was similarly in pieces. What was she touching? Was that Scorpa?

"If Balboa wasn't already dead, I've probably killed him by now." The tealblood groaned in frustration and leaned into her dear yellowblood sadly as they wandered around the maze like the destructive failures they were.

Scorpa accepted Flydra's challenge with confidence.

"Hell yeah!" The yellowblood tied on a blindfold as well. As she proceeded through the maze, the soldier knocked countless obstacles down. Lost and confused, she continued on without any idea what she was doing. Scorpa wasn't usually the brains of the operation.

"Huh?" The yellowblood swiveled her head and her long ponytail went flying, swinging around and destroying what remained standing of the maze. She was signaled to stop and blinked as Flydra sighed.

"We weren't supposed to destroy it?" Scorpa blinked dumbly. She'd misunderstood the goal of the game.

This was Trevel's kind of booth! With a cocky grin, he looked to Eyzaak. "Hey, Trash Monger... Bet I can do better at this obstacle course than you!" He challenged, taking off through the course. Maybe he should have rested before; he felt he did an average job running and getting through the course... If the blueblood did beat him... then he'd just have to challenge him tomorrow and try a best two out of three!

The blueblood stood with her arms crossed, a dully irritable expression locked into her not-quite-grown-in features. Assjacked was an acceptable place to be seen.

Unimpressed by the mudblood's, she squinted at the documents given to her. "Yes. Yes, I am aware of reasoning for the paperwork." Malice said with haste, signing the paper with a heavy hand (and possibly ripping the paper).

You see Cincil doing her thing and immediately feel like you want to vomit. You are uncertain why but logical reasoning can equate it to wanting to tear her apart. Somehow. You are too young for that.

Malice manned the trenches with relative ease, her fancy shmancy boots have patented technology to avoid slipping in this kind of terrain unlike that one time where she totally beefed it in front of the owner of the booth. Besides, she lived in Busthind, an eternal frozen over hell. Malice embraced the chaos and challenge presented to her. Hey, this was actually kind of fun.

It wasn't until she took a quick tactical peek above the trenches to get a peek at the ground she's covered when she got demolished in the face by snowballs, one after the other.

Eyzaak rushed after his purpleblood companion. He recognized the booth for what it was, he had played in during the last Bloodfest. Smirking at the other he stood at the others side. "Yoooo! I told you a million times I ain't-a Trash Monger! Come on man, cut a guy some slack!" He laughed at the other, not actually bothered by the lowkey insult. He was used to it by now, it was just part of how they got along.

His eyes widened realizing he'd challenged him. "HELL YEA! You are on." He bolted after him like a winged squeakbeast out of hell. Getting pelted with snowballs sucked...that happened almost instance. He kept going however, determined to get through the maze. He wasn't going to be shown up! While he did an average job, as he had just danced his a** off in DDR...he still kept pace with the purpleblood. Finishing at his side he beamed at the other. "Ohai!" He greeted with a childish grin as they finished, exactly at the same time. He had been so determined to beat him...that it was almost hilarious really.

With the briefing complete, Kerras threw Sarcel a smart salute, bobbed a curtsy at Nahori, and faced the battlefront. They took a deep breath, completely immersed in the fantasy of it: the smoke, the ashes, the fire, the screams, the death. It was terrifying, horrible, but a fact of Alternian life. They needed to face it.

Clutching tight their stick for protection, Kerras ventured out into the trenches. They crawled on their belly, using their elbows to pull themself forward. It was not so unusual for for them; they were accustomed to crawling around through the forest's undergrowth, often to hide, but more often in pursuit of hopbeasts or flutterbugs.

Suddenly the earth burst beneath them. Kerras let out a yelp as the air bag tossed them aside. The rest of the maze passed by in a blur of terror, concluded with despair. Holding the tattered remains of Balboa in their arms, they tearfully offered it to Sarcel.

Psykgi had sure grown up since she'd last interacted with Sarcel's booth. No longer was she a shitty troll trying to mess around on... was it snowmobiles? Yes, yes it was.

She was a military troll now, with a Dr in front of her name, and she was going to properly reset the score. This was not going to be a horrible, horrible idea.

Of course not.

A miserable and cold ordeal later, Psykgi looked back at the mess she'd made with a great deal of moroseness. So much for her break -- now she had to fix. Everything. In front of a superior officer. ********.

Psykgi got to shoveling.

[With the seemingly endless pitfalls and airbag 'snow mines' you're running into, it's a wonder you haven't destroyed the entire maze at this point. Actually, scratch that. The damage is immeasurable. You did it, but only technically. What were you even trying to accomplish? Sarcel looks impressed in all the wrong ways. Looks like you'll have to help her fix the trenches for the next participant.]

Quella was starting to get just a little bit sick of all these military trolls getting themselves captured all over the place. It was... well, it reflected badly on the military. That was it. And not because she was having trouble at all. This "Ginnie" was no different: Annoying as hell. Quella took a deep breath as she eased herself to the edge of the platform, hoping for dear life that this zipline could hold her enhanced weight.

She'd barely stepped off the platform when there was a *PING* as a screw popped loose from her zipline. The hunter's eyes grew huge as she began to fall, cursing the corporal all the way down. "GINNNNNNNNIEEEEEEEEE!"

The rest of the contestants would just have to ignore the Quella-shaped hole.

Kerras did not even make it to the end of the zipline. As they crashed headlong through the canopy, a tree introduced itself to their torso, and they folded like a piece of paper. The collision knocked all the breath from their lungs, and any presence of mind from their body. They dangled out over thin air in a daze. They failed to notice the handle bars trundling away, on their own solo mission.

"Ah... nice birds," Kerras wheezed dreamily to a nest of astonished plunderbirds. Still shaky, they pulled themself on top of the branch, despite the owner's protests. Their gaze drifted down... it was a long drop. Hugging the side of the trunk, they hoped someone would notice them. If not, at least they had the birds for company.

The mother plunderbird fluffed her plumage and treated Kerras to an indignant squawk.

Kursha had been minding his own business, partaking in the festivities, enjoying the sights, and egg-bombing innocent passersby (passersunder technically) as he ziplined over the city, when out of no where disaster struck. As firework burst all around him, he witnessed Sarcel down below wielding the fireworks launcher rather like a shoulder canon and death in her eyes.

Now, why would she go and do a thing like that?

Upturning the crate as he zipped over the blueblood, Kursha let the remainder of the eggs rain down on her. It could hardly be a training booth if the participants weren't supposed to retaliate.
