Giru betrays our heroes and hands Trunks and Goku to General Rilldo while Pan is left to fend for herself.

Pan infiltrates the building where Trunks and Goku are being held and successfully finds them. When Goku comes to from his forced nap, he powers up, breaks his and the cage that Trunks was held in, then demands to be set free and to regain the dragon balls that the robots stole.

Goku defeats the Sigma Cannon force and is about to face General Rilldo.

General Rilldo captures Trunks in a case of steel moulding and sends him to Dr. Myuu's lab. Pan flies off to try and save Trunks while Goku faces off against the general. The General proves to be a challenge however, and is not yet defeated.

Goku continued to fight General Rilldo and discovers that the general has a nasty ability of using the metal of the Planet M2 by absorbing it into his body and the thing is, M2 is made almost entirely out of metal. Meanwhile, Pan sets her sights on destroying Giru for his betrayal, but everytime she gets close to him, the room spits her out and takes her back to the entrance. This might be forshadowing something though.

Pan interrupts the fight between General Rilldo and Goku to reveal that she has recovered the dragon balls only to get sealed in a case of metal. Goku was next to be encased and it looked like our heroes had lost all hope until Giru switched sides again and is now on our heroes's side. He undoes the casing for Goku and Pan, but the one for Trunks breaks. Everyone had thought Trunks was a goner until Trunks revealed that he was upstairs in the lab and that there was something he needed his friends to see. Dr. Myuu tried to stop them but it was too late.

Though our heroes tried to stop Baby from being resurrected, they had ultimately failed and as Myuu and Baby tried to escape, Baby kills Myuu in the escape ship and proceeds to find our heroes.

Our heroes find a nearly abandoned ship being destroyed by a star hotter than the sun, but there is a dragon ball on it left by Baby and Baby himself is hiding within an ill boy. Our heroes get the boy to the hospital, but when the boy wakes up, he begins causing trouble thanks to Baby.

Baby tries to attack Pan, but fails. Then he slips into the body of the doctor before moving to the body of Trunks. Trunks expels Baby and Baby retreats inside of a fat lady aboard another space ship. Meanwhile our heroes are on their way in search of another dragon ball.

Baby arrived on earth and has taken over some innocents while looking for the saiyans. Goten was the first saiyan to run into Baby while on his date with Valise. Baby admitted that he wanted to take over Goten's body and therefore the fight begins.

Finding a new host in Gohan, Baby takes Goten to fight with his brother and when Baby took over Gohan's body, Piccolo stepped in to save his only friend.

Baby takes over Vegeta's body while Goku, Pan and Trunks are on their way back to earth because they have all 7 dragon balls.

When Goku, Trunks, and Pan return, they were treated badly by their friends, which confused them at first until Baby made himself known.
