She and her mother died in a car accident prior to Bakura-kun's introduction into any version of the Series [manga/anime/First Series anime].

Yes, Bakura-kun is rather mobid in that he writes to his deceased younger sister as if she were living in the next town. No further infomation has ever been given on her, such as how old she was. No images of her exist, and there are few fanart pieces in existance. Bakura-kun's father does appear in a brief cut at the end of DM episode 13.

Bakura-sensei [ 2 ]

He's also mentioned in the manga as owning the Domino Museum. Bakura-kun's mother never appears and it's assumed that she is dead as well.

Oh wow... that's interesting.

I have a question about Yugi's shirt. I mean, WTC? How does an insecure guy like Yugi go around wearing a kinky shirt like THAT? Even if it doesn't show at school... I mean, I thought the sexy clothes somehow appeared when he changed personalities or something... but then I got far enough in the manga to realize that Yugi wears that leather belt shirt all the time...

That is a very good question and there is a very good answer to that. As president of the Yuugi Mutou Guild, I will answer.

Anime

In the anime, we see him wearing a very sexy looking tanktop which I sometimes prayed hee take that jacket off on every episode. sweatdrop In the anime, that is the school boy uniform. In Japan, boys have to wear a uniform that is either blue, dark-blue, black, white, and grey (depending of the school code colors). You can wear any shirt inside that is legal in school.

Manga

Now in the manga, my favorite side of Yuugi that we never see in the anime. crying It's pretty obvious why he wears those clothing: to impress Anzu. It's good to see Yugi dressed the way he is because we see that our insecure Yuugi is getting more and more out-going, more courages, and we see his true personality. Yuugi is the type of character that follows the rules all the time! But the more he's closer to the Pharaoh, the more he becomes brave, and more out-going. That's why he's wearing those clothes because it brings one step in becomeing more brave. He can't be our little Yuugi forever. *huggles him* heart

Yet, form this, we can infer that Ryou takes after his mother, so Amane most likely took after they're father.

You have a good point about him being more outgoing b/c of Pharoah, but I thought he was wearing that kinky shirt even before he solved the puzzle (he wore the belt around his neck before he solved the puzzle…)

*shrugs* I have plenty of introverted friends that like to dress a litle funky. I don't think you have to be brave to wear leather today. Crazier stuff keeps becoming the norm after all. I keep seeing groups of kids dressing all hot-topiced out every day and don't give it a second thought.

Yugi's just caught up in the emo fad. domokun

(I joke, yugi-fans dun kill me, k thanks)

Ok, I figured he was just being emo or something. I was just wondering if there was ever given a reason for it. But it doesn't matter.

I don't think so. I don't remember seeing Yuugi wearing something emo without wearing the puzzle. You got to show me what issue is it so I can check it out. *grabs all Yugioh japanese mangas to search*

yeah, I don't think he started wearing any leather or chains or belts until he solved the puzzle... not even his choker! I was re-reading the first volume the other day. I remember being all like whoa because his neck was so empty... anyway, yeah.

But even though he wasn't wearing that stuff before he solved the puzzle you have to wonder why he had it all in the first place! XD Maybe he just wasn't dressing like that on the particular day when it all began!

Hmm, I guess maybe him solving the puzzle gave him an unconscience urge to wear sexy clothes... (I know I saw Yami wearing the clothes b4 Yugi even realized there was another him.)

Where'd you get the transelation?
Also, can you put up the pics of the pages that have anything to do with the "bakurae" (multiple bakuras XD)?
He/They is/are such a comlex character(s).
It makes my brain hurt.

*nods* That seems to be the agreed upon fact. Having a yami makes you skankier wether you mean to be or not. =o

I mean did you notice how once yami marik was gone we never saw him in a belly-shirt again?

The truth is out there.

Morgana13
Well, ones a mortal, born human, died human, never went to future Yugioh land and is Ryo's incarnation.

SPOILER!!!!! ALERT!!!!!
(do'nt say I didn't warn you.)

The other one was never human, never died, was in the future, and...
*drummroll*
Did not have conscience while the memory world arc.
"He" never existed until the future.
It gets a bit shaky around this part, but anyway,
when the pharoah deafeated Zoku, and sealed it/him
*After that cruel beastie used and threw the great theif away*
into the millenium puzzle, basically it/him put part of it's soul in
the millenium ring. Some time later it formed what we know as good 'ol Yami B.
(*Though TKB stuck part of his soul into the mill. eye, this has little/no significance to the main story.)

Anyway, I want to know why those two act the same.

I'm not sure if you've resolved this or not, but look at it this way (I figured this by researching and piecing together bits of the information scattered throughout the manga for the AE arc):

When Touzokou Bakura sealed a part of his soul and personality into the Millennium Eye and turned Akhenaden into Zork Necrophades, he said that doing it would allow T. Bakura to control him, so in effect, T. Bakura is Zork Necrophades.

Then, later when Y. Bakura says that he is Zork Necrophades, then that would make sense as it is the thief's personality warping (it's not totally full control, as although Akhenaden is doing what Bakura wants, he's doing it for his son) the former Akhenaden-now-turned-Zork Necrophades.

Then, in the battle in Kul Elna, when the thief's body is gone, his personality is still present within Akhenaden's body, although Akhenaden's purpose to make Seto the new king is still dominant.

The only thing I didn't figure out was when either T. Bakura or the dark priest Zork sealed a part of his soul into the Millennium Ring. This doesn't really matter as it seems that Bakura can keep in touch with the portions of his soul that he sealed in other items so that all portions would know what transpired. (This means that, even if the dark priest was the one to seal his soul into the ring, it was really T. Bakura at the core.)

Note: The Dark God who happens to have the same name is just a creature that was summoned with the return of the Millennium Items to the tablet and was destroyed. If it does have a connection to the thief personaliy-wise, I couldn't find it and if you have any proof of connection, I'd like to see it just so I know where to find it later.
