*sighs, scartches her head* Well...

To be honest, I reallly, really, REALLY like Brock... and I don't think he's just a "player"... there's more to him then just hormones.

I mean, consider this.... his dad left him and his mom alone. Then his mom dies, which causes him to raise all the kids for a few years. During that time, he probably had next to zero contact with kids his own age, and didn't have anyone to advise him while he was "growing up" so to speak... he must have been terribly lonely for someone to listen to him, and I mean, "really" listen to him...

Then, when he left with Ash and Misty, and began to meet new people, including girls, he didn't know how to approche them. I mean, would you, after being stuck at home taking care of little kids for 2 to 3 years, and having no one tell you how to approche them?

So he was forward with them, complementing them, and asking them out... and no one has taken him aside to explain this is wrong. So, he just tries harder, which makes the girls more nervous, and reject him.... It's a vicious cycle.

Besides, you know there's more to him then just "player", so to speak... look at how he cares about pokemon. He'd put his own life in danger to save another. He's always taking care of Ash and Misty, as shown in the epy "Sick Daze" (Johto Season). He also would do anything for the girls he falls inlove with, too.

And also, he probably can't determine the difference between real love, and infatuation. He's a teen boy, it's normal... but his attitude towards other people, and pokemon shows that he does consider other people with respect and compassion... why would he treat a girl differently?

so it's more then just sex with Brock. He wants someone to take care of, and at the same time, love *him* back... because he's been alone all that time. He needs to be needed, it's part of his nature. He just doesn't know how to do it.

and... that's why I love him so much. He's deeper then you give him credit for, really... that's why he's my favorite character, ever.


...Okay, there are my thoughts... sorry if they offend you in any way... I just wannted to say my opinion... *skuttles off*
