Jin was better than Kazuya in TTT and definitely T4. I'd say Kazuya is better in T5 and T5DR.

Though Devil Jin is better in 5.0 and the best character in DR :/

Well if they didn't have their devil forms fighting each other...hmmm.....Kazuya is more likely to win seen as he's a pretty evil guy an all (without Jun he is evil...shame the tekken creaters killed her off).
But as i am slightly ignorant...Jin would win. Hey that rymes.

In Tekken 3 I used to love Jin, but in Tekken 5, I prefer Kazuya, because the creators gave some of Jin's moves to him..he's easier to fight with than Jin because of it I think. Although Devil Jin has Jin's moves from Tekken 3.
