get to know her better. become good friends before you ask again. it's easier when you're friends, trust me.

and before you ask her out again... try to impress her a little? maybe get her a gift; something she'd really like. also ask her friends, before you ask, if she likes anyone. if she does, wait awhile or else she has a higher chance of saying no.

i asked a guy out once, my best guy friend from my old school, and he happened to like one of my other friends at the time... he thought it over for a week and said no (i see him every friday, if at all that week).
